Datatransfer customer/vendor without tax posting
Hi together,
we want to transfer data from an external system to SAP. Regarding the open creditor/vendor items we don´t want to post onto the tax accounts - nevertheless we want to set the corresponding tax code with the transfer postings.
e.g. 'customer' / 01 (150.00$) ~ 'transfer account' / 50 (150.00$); tax code 'A1'.
What do we have to do to allow those postings?

I had already done it and it did not work either. It seems like downpayments could not be optional taxed, if you leave the tax category of the reconciliation account in blank when you post a downpayment the tax fields dissapear whereas if you inform it, the tax code field in F-29 turns to be a required field. It is a pitty! I dont know if somebodoy can put some light on it or confirm my afirmation.

Allow posting customer downpayment without tax code
Dear colleagues,
I have an scenario where customer downpayments can be tax relevant and non tax relevant. I have costumized the G/L account with "*" as a tax category and the tick "posting without tax allowed". Nevertheless when i execute the transaction F-29 the system always requires me a tax code to post the downpayment. I am using the classical "a" as special GL indicator. Does Anybody know how can i make the tax code field entry optional when i am posting a downpayment? I know how i can make dissapear the field (just leaving the tax category as "blank") but i want the field as an optional field, nor supressed neither required.

It's not an issue with field status, because if I post the same document without tax posting, the derivation works fine. The A/P reconciliation account should not have cost center assignment. My derivation is based on Profit Center.
I managed to post if I tick the "overriding" option at Tax account on "Classify G/L Accounts for Document Splitting"; now the tax account will have item category of 01000 (Balance sheet account).
However, the LOB balancing account is not posted anymore.
It can work now, but I'm just abit worried what's the impact by ticking the "overriding". Can anyone tell me?

Creating entries in customer/vendor balance without posting
Hi,
I like to know is there anyway to add customer/vendor balance without posting that impacting the book?
Sample like interest calculation to be keep track into customer balance but there is no FI posting that impacting the book. When i displaying customer balance the interest is shown but there is no FI posting for it.Anyone have any comments or suggestion?

Vendor down payment clearing without VAT posting.
Hello SAP Gurus,
I have following issue:
Currently our Vendor down payments produce VAT postings when clearing with final invoice, which is correct.
But we have some old vendor down payments which does not include VAT and needs to be cleared without any impact to VAT postings.
User is using F-44 transaction and can not define any tax code for postings, system calculates it automatically.
It is not possible to make VAT posting happen and then make reversal postings fot VAT accounts as well.I tried to check flag 'Posting without tax allowed' and uncheck 'Post automatically only' in account master data. And then make manual posting using that account via FB01 but system still requires tax code to be entered because Tax category in account master data is set to '<' I'nput Tax Account'. It is impossible to change Tax category let's say to ' * ' because account have balances on it.
Could anyone advice how can I clear these downpayments without VAT posting?

Diagnosis
You can not enter a tax amount in this item since, due to the posting amount entered and the tax code, a total tax amount of zero has been calculated.
This could either be due to the fact that the tax code has been defined with a value of 0%, or because the posting amount entered (that is, the tax base) is too small.
Example:
With a tax rate of 15%, a tax amount greater than zero will only be achieved with a base amount greater than 0.04. With values of 0.03 and less, it is therefore not possible to enter a tax amount.
Procedure
Only enter tax amounts in conjunction with tax codes for which a percentage rate not equal to zero has been defined. Make sure that in documents with several G/L account items you enter the total tax amount in an item with a sufficiently high posting amount. -

I am trying to release an invoice using VF02 transaction but I recieved the below error message:
Message no. 7Q321
Withholding tax amount exceeds the customer/vendor line item amount 001
There are 2 SAP (718078 and 513201) notes regarding that but they are not applicable in ECC 6.0.
How can I figure out this issue?

This may happen because you have give base exemption and after that charge tax. In this case you have posted earlier invoice w/o wht and now you are posting the small amount of invoice on which wht is calculated including the earlier exempt amt. In this case the wht exceeds the base amt.
In this case if possible you first post the invoice with sufficient amount which can deduct the WHT .
If your scenario is different give details.

Annual tax report for customer/vendor (Italy) - RFIDITCVL program
Hello,
we're using the Annual tax report for customer/vendor (Italy) in the ECC 6.0 version but we've the following problems:
- We only see a list of records in the List error section, where the field "Group" is not valued, so we don't know if the list is really an error list or not.
- We don't see anything in the results list
Do you know if there is some OSS Note we can apply or some customizing activity we have to do. Thank you.

MIR5 - Display List of Invoice Documents
You can use the report Display List of Invoice Documents (RMMR1MDI; transaction code MIR5) to display a list of the invoice documents.
In addition to the existing program Invoice Overview (transaction code MIR6), here you have extended selection criteria and display options:
o Gross invoice amount
o Unplanned delivery costs
o Currency key
o Exchange rate
o Entry date
o Entry time
o Choice between invoice and credit memo
o One-time customer with a one-time account
In the Invoice Overview program you can also change invoices, whereas in this report you only have display options.
By entering the following data you can increase your selection criteria:
o Entry type
o Invoice status
o Restrictions
Output: -
In the output list, the report displays the numbers of the posted and the parked invoice documents. The system does not display invoice documents that do not have a corresponding FI document, for example, invoice documents that are planned for verification in the background, or that have already been verified with errors.
From the output list, you can display the following:
o Invoice document
o FI document or list of FI documents
If more than one FI document is assigned to an invoice document, then you can display a list of all corresponding FI documents.
o List of all follow-on documents for an invoice document. -
Adding amount into customer balance without posting
Hi Gurus,
Is it possible to add in amount into customer/vendor/gl balance without any posting impacting the book?
Example, interest calculation! To keep track the interest amount into customer balance. The interest amount is shown in customer balance but there is not FI document posting.Always park these documents, never post them and use the parked documents report for your analysis.

Query on Grouping Tax Base Balances for Italian Report Customer/Vendor List
Hello Experts,
We are implementing the new italian report for customer/vendor List as per Note : 1090857 - Customer/Vendor List for Italy:New Legal Requirement (2007)
This requires a customizing in Table/View V_T007K(Group Tax Base Balances) where we need to group the tax codes.
Based on what logic is this table required to be maintained and what considerations need to be taken care of when mainting the tax codes for each column.
Anyone who has maintained this table or who is ware of the procedure and logic of maintainance , could kindly advise on the same.

I am having one problem please help me
My user created one down payment, entry is like this

To TDS 3878
To Bank 190036
After this he has booked MIRO with the same value 193914 & has deducted TDS 3878 over that invoice
Now when he is going to adjjust that down payment against that MIRO with specific line item 62
system is throwing that error.

Gl Account master data - Posting without Tax allowed field

Reason and Prerequisites
Accidentally some business transaction events (BTE) for the new solution for deferred tax were delivered in an active state in support packages of SAP releases 4.70 and ERP 2004. The solution is available in the SAP-Standard only from release ERP 2005. Also in ERP 2005 the new deferred tax can cause problems in countries for which the solution is not released.
These BTEs perform strict tests for documents containing tax codes for deferred tax.
Solution
If you are using the old deferred tax, i.e. you use report RFUMSV25 to create transfer postings, you can safely deactivate these BTEs.
Remove the following BTEs:
00001025 DI-TAX CREATE_DEFTAX_ITEM
00001030 DI-TAX SET_DEFTAX_ITEM
00001040 DI-TAX CREATE_DEFTAX_ITEM_REVERS
00001050 DI-TAX CREATE_DEFTAX_ITEM_MR1M
In ERP 2005 (ECC 600) the application key is 'FI-TAX' instead of the above mentioned 'DI-TAX'.
To do this start transaction FIBF
-> Settings
-> P/S Modules

Mark the entries from the list above and delete them.
This deactivates the functionality of 'new deferred tax' for all company codes in all clients on the system. This means that no data is written to table deftax_item at posting time. Report RFUMSV50 can still be started, but it will not process new documents any more.
If in ERP 2005 problems arise in one country but the new deferred tax is used in another country you must not deactivate the BTEs completely. In this case it is possible to restrict the BTEs to be active only in certain countries using the column 'country' in transaction FIBF.
