Hi Tom,
Your LOOKUP formula will return a value that it finds in the "other" table. That value can be used in conditional highlighting rules. (Numbers 3 calls it conditional highlighting, not conditional formatting. Just to keep us awake, I guess, but it works the same).

If you have different doc types for two company codes then you can maintain different number ranges in standard for two company codes.
If you have same doc types for two company codes then you have to go for enhancement.

First system take the number range interval and searches for the entry in ztable and prefix the code as per the ztable enteries.
By this u can differentiate the number ranges by company code.

Well, I looked for where to delete this but didn't see it.
NEVERMIND; I forced iPhoto to quit and restarted and everything seems fine.
BTW, I did get one thing wrong. When I looked at both iPhoto libraries with FINDER, the active one and the archived one both showed content as far as file size goes.
It was because I was viewing the files through Adobe Bridge that it was showing 0 GB's; for whatever reason.

I just signed up for FIOS and am not experiencing your problem (had enough other ones instead).
Go to mail preferences ~ click on a mail account ~ click on the advanced tab. The only settings that worked for me were: port 110 SSL OFF, authentication: Authenticated POP (APOP). If I remember correctly when I first set this up another window opened and I typed in my password and never had to do that again.

is there a way to configure a salary range for a particular job based on Personnel Area. I know in Compensation Management you can define pay grades and level and set the min and max salary but this is based on country grouping.

I am not sure if there is a way to configure a salary range for a job based on Personnel Area.
But you can validate and give a message, if the entered salary on IT0008 is with in a range based on the personnel area for the job. This can be done using User Exit EXIT_SAPFP50M_002 (ZXPADU02).

IP Based Location Printing

Hi all
I'm new at this whole IP Based Location Printing thing...
I'm currently managing a small school's network. They've got 3 printers on IP. All printers are shared via the domain PC (running the DC).
One printer is in the Computer Lab, the other in the Staff Lab, and the other one in the Library.
I came across the problem the school has. Students are printing to other printers on the network, which they shouldn't be doing. The computer teacher and I have no control over printing now.
I was wondering, how do I set up location based printing, so that if the student is logged onto a Library PC, that he/she can only see the Library Printer and not the other 2 printers, and so on for the other locations.
Our network works via vSpace nComputing devices, with Terminal Services. We run Windows Server 2008 R2 as an operating system.
Can anyone please help me with a tutorial or guide to set up location based printing?

Based on your description, it seems that printers were deployed via group policy. Would you please let me confirm
whether they deployed via
TCP/IP Printer Item in GPP? If anything I misunderstand, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Meanwhile, please check if you have navigate to the security tab on printers and assign correct permissions
to corresponding users.

Number range based on plant

I have requirement, cliant wants number range based on plant, for example
we have three plants under 1 company code AXXX,BXXX,CXXX the requirment is when we create a PO the PO number should start with Aor B or C starting letter of the plant.
we know that we can use differnet document type but here we want to use only one document type I.e NB document type.
Please let me know steps to do this,

But my suggestion you have only three plant then create differnt doc type for plant,there are many report depend on plant,and we can use differnt plant in po also so it will effect

Variable Exit - Last Three months date range based on Sy-datum

Hi
I have a requirement to filter last 3months data based on sy-datum. I have a variable filter on Posting Date.
For e.g. Today is 20110622
I have to determine below range: When users run the report prompt should be auto filled with below date range.
From Value: 20110301
To Value     : 20110531
From sy-datum I can find the first day of the current month - In this scenario 20110601 (I'll replace last 2 characters with "01").
If I subtract "-1" I'll get the To Value: 20110531
Question is to get the "From Value". If I subtract 90days from To value, it will work for few months.
For e.g. If my To value is Feb 28th and if I subtract 90days, I may get a different answer.
Is there any better approach to determine this date range?

We got startdate in and we want to get enddate , but we got endmonth ...
now we need to get last date of the endmonth.
Use this function module SLS_MISC_GET_LAST_DAY_OF_MONTH and u can get it. Input should be date.
so put l_enddate+6(2) = '01'.
l_enddate(6) = l_endmonth.
now pass end date to the Function module and this will return the end date of the month.
So you get l_startdate and l_enddate as you require. This will work for leap years or feb 28 days what ever...

I'm trying to define date range (of 3 months) using mdx based on user selection.
This is what I'm trying to do:
- If user select 2013, I would like range to be: from

- If user select Aug 2013, I would like range to be: from

- If user select 15 Sep 2013, I would like range to be : from

Problems computing dates within a given range based on conditions

Hello. I'm working on a part of a scheduling app and am having a problem with this one section. I tried doing some searches on this forum, but no one seems to be trying to compute anything similar to what I'm doing.
Basically, I have a select list with the values: "Every", "Every Other", "Every 1st", "Every 2nd", "Every 3rd", and "Every 4th". I also have a checkbox with the values for the days of the week, from Sunday to Saturday. What I'm trying to do is that if I have a start and an end date, how to compute which days (from the various combinations of the select list and checkbox items chosen) fall in this range. Are there any functions available to help with this task? Someone mentioned the next_day() function, but looking at that function it seems like this is still pretty complicated logic-wise. Is it, or am I missing something?

As Etbin said, if you can get dbms_scheduler (or some other supplied code) to do all or part of your job, that's the best thing to do.
Assuming you have to produce a list of targeted run dates, here's a SQL query that does that.
The query uses four bind variables:
(1) :start_dt, a date in DD-Mon-YYY format (other formats would work as well; easily modified)
(2) :end_dt
(3) :freq_txt, one of 'Every', 'Every Other', 'Every 1st', etc.
(4) :day_txt, a comma-delimited list of days wanted, e.g. 'Tue,Thu'. (They don't have to be in order. If you're using 3-letter English abbreviations, they don't really have to be delimited.)
I assume your app can produce these from the screen inputs.

I want to extract records for the employees who have consecutive vacation/leave from a table. If an emp has vacation of 3 days (MON-WED), the table contains 3 distinct records for him,

Print multiple page ranges based on radio button group choices

Hi ... I have a PDF that is a combined application form made up of 6 separate forms. On the front page, I have 6 groups of "Yes / No" radio buttons.
If the radio button for one or more of these groups is selected as "Yes" then when the Print button (on the page) is clicked then the appropriate page ranges will print.
It is desireable, though not essential, for these to be printed in one print job.

Hi Gilad D
The 'printRanges.push' function works well on my Mac using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI however when it is used on the systems that the form users will be working on (which runs Adobe Reader 9.4.0.195) the ranges are not pushed to the printer dialogue box and the 'printRange'
in the dialogue is still selecting the 'All Pages' radio button.
Is the printRanges.push function a new and non-backwards-compatible function or is my code the problem
