Dates in the condition record maintenance for the condition type?

Hi,
Condition type has the following dates when maintaining the condition record,
Valid from date:
Valid on :
Please ellaborate on the  above dates?
Thanks

Dear Rajiv
Valid from date:-   The date from which the said condition type is applicable.  For example, in VK11, if you changed (let us assume PR00 changed to Rs.250 from 200) a condition with a date as  01-06-08 in the above field, only from 1st of June'08, whatever sale orders you generated, revised value of Rs.250 will flow in the respective sale orders.  Whatever created b4 1st June'08 will be having Rs.200.
Valid on :-  As in the above case, if you input a date as 30-05-08 for the above condition type, system will populate Rs.200/- and if you input 01-06-08, it will propose Rs.250/-.
Hope this explanation is suffice for you to understand the difference between the two fields.
thanks

But when i create a new sales order with the same data (BP, Material,Sales organization) the condition ZPRS is not visible in the sales order. When i checked the PRC_TRACE it is showing the error as "Condition with external datasource has not be found".
Can any body help me in this issue.

    Hi Michael ,
Thank you very much for your answer. I just require one more confirmation from you.
Could you please confirm If we post a returns document in CRM system directly the "ZPRS or VPRS - Cost" Condition type will not appear in the return document condition types.
Untill and unless it is a billing document in CRM system the "cost" condtion wont appear rt?
    Could you please confirm it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Calculate Days between same date field in multiple records, looping for each record

Be patient as I am a newbie to Sql Server (using 2008 R2) and SSIS.  I have looked at multiple solutions in this and many other forums before submitting the question.
I am looking at records to identify the number of days between two dates.  We review drug information.  A member uses drug A (Code identifies this called GPI) and has refills throughout time.  The goal is to calculate the days between Refill
1 and refill 2, then refill 2 to refill 3, etc.  When that member record set is complete, we move to the next member record set.
The basic data would be as follows.  Each record shown below would be a separate record in a single table :
    Member

The days between is the value I am looking to calculate.  The First record for the grouping of Member and Drug Code will be zero ( 0 ) as there is no preceding date to calculate against.  The process would then loop through the records at the grouping
(Member and Drug Code) until those records are calculated.  It would then move on to the next group of Member/Drug records.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Any clarification I can provide, I would be more than happpy too.  Thank you in advance!

  • Selecting the best Price for a condition type but only for some customers

    Hi All,
I have this situation where we have condition type ZPPR (COPY OF PR00) with 5-6 Condtion tables.
in Access sequence for ZPPR, we have Exclusion Indicator set for all the conditiona tables so if first price is found, it doesn't search for others.
Now I have a requirement that we should search for all the condition records and choose the lowest price. But this should happen for only a certain type of customers and not for everybody.
    Spefically we have:
    1. Contract Price
    2. Plant/Material price
Normally, if contract price is found, it doesn't look for Plant/Mat price but we want to offer our customers(some of them) an option where they could choose the lower of the two price. We set both the prices every day based on some inputs.
    Regards,
    Luke
Edited by: Lukesh Singla on Dec 21, 2011 8:49 PM

    Hi Luke,
We have multiple option for this implementation:
Option 1: If possible based on access sequence. Not sure if this is suitable considering you mentioned that ZPPR has 5-6 access sequence.
    1) Store Contract price in condition type ZPPR and store  Plant / Material Price in new condition type say, ZPPX.
    2) Have separate pricing procedure and determine them based on customer type. In first pricing process XXXX01, configure Condition exclusion with the setting that ZPPX should be deactivated if ZPPR is present, condition exclusion procedure D (exclusive) . In second pricing procedure XXXX02, configure condition exclusion with the setting that compare ZPPX and ZPPR and activate best condition type for the customer by using condition exclusion procedure C (Best condition between two exclusion groups ).
    Option 2:
    1) Copy  ZPPR and its access sequence to a new condition type and access sequence say ZPPX without checking exclusion indicator in the access sequence. In the condition type control for condition type ZPPX >> Master data section >> Reference Condition type = ZPPR so that master data records  need not be duplicated.
2a) Assign the current procedure to the set of customers which should get the first price. Create a new procedure with condition type ZPPX instead of ZPPR keeping other parameters similar and assign the new procedure to other set of customers who should get the best price.
    OR
2b) if 2a is difficult in terms of future  maintenance, add condition type ZPPX in the same procedure and create 2 new pricing requirement validating the customer segments and assign them to respective condition type in procedure ZPPR and ZPPX.
    3) Maintain condition exclusion for condition type ZPPX with B ( Best condition within Condition type).
Hopefully it helps. Let me know if you need any other help in implementation of the solution.

  • Want last date of the month as default basic finish date for the Proc order

For forward scheduling type in process order, irrespective of the start date i want last date of the month as my  basic finish date.
Ex start date can be 01/10/2009 or 15/10/2009, but the basic finish date should be 31/10/2009.

    Hi Sam,
sorry to say , its not possible in standard SAP.
    1) If, on order creation, a planned order exists for the production order/ process order, the basic dates are copied from the planned order.
2)If no planned order exists on order creation, you must specify at least one basic date.
The scheduling type determines the basic dates that you must specify. and it useses timings from routings for scheduling.
so may be you need some work around.
explain your requirement why do you want to fix it for the last day of month and other constraints, may be we can find some way.

  • Accessing the output type data in rv60afzz exit

    Hi All,
I want to access the output type data in stored in VNAST table of the program SAPLV61B from the user exit. I am doing this using field symbol. But I am not able to get it .
data :it_xnast  like vnast OCCURS 20 WITH HEADER LINE,
it_x1nast like vnast OCCURS 20 WITH HEADER LINE.
      field-symbols :
                <Fs1> type ZSDTT_VNAST,<Fs2> type ZSDTT_VNAST .
data: wa_xnast type vnast, wa_x1nast type vnast.
             assign ('(SAPLV61B)XNAST[]') TO <fs2>.
             assign ('(SAPLV61B)VNAST[]') TO <fs1>.
I have written the same code for the order user exit. There the field symbol is getting assigned with the internal table. But in case of this user exit, the sy-subrc is coming 4.
Or is there any other user exit, I can make use of this for such requirement?
    Thanks in advance,
    Rgds.

    Hi Nishant,
I think you have not understood my problem. I want to access the internal table where the output types data gets stored at run time for the particular invoice. The code I have written is working fine in the order's user exit. That means I can access the data in order. But in the case of billing , even if that program SAPLV61B is getting called before the execution of this user exit, no data is coming in the field symbol FS1 neither and not even in FS2. I want to know is there any other user exit, where I can access the run time data of the output types attached to that invoice. or is there any other program from where I can access the output type data in the same above user exit.

  • Not All Variables Bound - Only on Dates in the Visual Studio/Table Adapter

I am trying to execute a SQL statement created in a table adapter. I am using VS 2010 and ODP 11.2.0.1.2.
Anytime I add a DATE column in the where clause with a parameter (in bold below) I get one of two errors.
    1. Pass date as 01/01/2010: "Bad Month" -ok I know what this is...
    2. Pass date as 01-JAN-10: ORA-01008: not all variables bound
    where pro.user_id = :user_id
    and (pro.select_typ_cd = 'adr'
    and acct.mkt_uw_empl_id = pro.select_key
    or pro.select_typ_cd = 'abc'
    and acct.mstr_agy_lgl_entity = pro.select_key)
    and (:BUSINESS_TYP_CD = 'all' or acct.BUSINESS_TYP_CD = :BUSINESS_TYP_CD)
    and (USER_ACCT_STS_CD != 'lost' or SYS_ACCT_STS_CD != 'lost')
    and LOB_EFF_DATE = :EFF_FROM

Got this to work in one case
    First use to_date LOB_EFF_DATE > to_date(:EFF_DATE_TO,'MM/DD/YYYY').
Second on the table adapter parameter you have to define the DBType as string not Date, and the provider type as VARCHAR2 not Date. Make sure you change the length to 10 it defaults to 7.
Oracle needs to fix this why in the world do I have to pass a date in a parameter on a table adapter as a string and go through this mess.

  • Condition type JTX1 missing

    Hi,
I'm practicing on home pc IDES 4.7. I have done copy client from 000 to 800 to use CIN in IDES, and now I can see the calulation procedure TAXINJ assigned to country IN which was not there before coping the client.
I have done the customization for CIN ( yet to test ) also. But now Im getting one error while creating CMR & MMR i.e. tax condition JTX1 not defined. I can see the condition default in CMR & MMR but not classification value and while doing so in "Define tax determination rules" it is giving the error that "Condition type JTX1 is not defined for taxes" although I can see it assigned to country IN but if u click enter it will throw the error.
So my query is that how come these conditions are missing as these are default condition type and can we create these conditions manually & if yes which access sequence should we assign to it and what are other settings for it ?
Plz help me out I'm a SAP learner and unable to create CMR & MMR bcoz of this error.

    Hi Lakshmipathi,
    Thanks for your answer.
I have taken a look to note you mentioned but it is related to Resource Related Down Payments customizing, which is not our actual requirement.
The note mentions though condition type EK01 for the purpose I am commenting: "...when the system processes a final invoice date, it determines condition type EK01 as the active price condition, thereby billing the actual costs".
Condition Type is in our pricing procedure with all the usual SD customizing settings, why is the system unable to process the costs?
Thanks for your always great help,

  • Condition type EK01 missing in pricing procedure A V (error message V1206)

    Hi gurus,
We get error message "condition type EK01 missing in pricing procedure A V" when creating a Billing request from a SErvice Order through TX-DP90.
We reviewed customizing regarding this issue:
ODP4 - SD Document linked to condition EK01 (this condition shall bring the actual cost in the order)
ODP1 - Dinamyc item profile to create Billing Request.
Pricing procedure: sales area assignments, condition types (including EK01)
    but error still shows.
Any idea what additional setting is necessary in customizing so EK01 is transfered to the SD doc in DP90?

  • Display condition types

    Hai,
I have a Pricing procedure and it is working fine.
My requirement is that, all condition types in the pricing procedure should appear in the P.O., thus by reducing the user work.
    How to do this?
    Thanks.

For Gross price conditions use access sequence 0002 and maintain Purchase Info Record. For other condtions types create your own condition tables, access sequence and assign this acc seq in condition types.
Then maintain condition records via Mek1.
Conditions will default in purchase order.
    Thanks & regards

  • Append condition type to Invoice from sales order

    Hello,
We have some condition types which are entered manually in sales order. When invoice is created, we want to copy the data of these condition types to the invoice.
Pricing procedures are different for sales order and invoice.
So how can we achieve this functionality? 1) copying requirement 2) BADI or 3) any formula.
    Please advice.
    Rgds,
    Anand

    Hi Anand,
this is done through copy control.Tcode-VTFA [sales order to invoice].Here u maintain ur source document i.e ur order type, destination i.e invoice type.give ur item category and then set pricing type as - C [copy manual pricing and redetermine tax] .all the data will be copied from sales order to invoice irrespective of ur different pricing procedures.
    Assign points if helpfull.

  • Condition type for pricing came from PC but has not included the additive cost record

    hello all;
we have the pricing base for the sales order with the estimated cost from pc; our costing process has a posting record for additive cost is not included on the total cost is sent to the condition type EK02.
question: It is possible to include these kind of postings?, in fact, these record apear on the costing report as part of the cost of sales..
    thanks in advanced...

    Hi Francisco
    Two things,
    1. Your condition type must be EK01 if you wanna use it in
    Pricing
    2. Additive cost in CK74 is at the level of material and plant. It is not at the level of sales order
If you wish to add costs manually in sales order cost estimate, then use Unit Costing as the costing method in your requirement class
Or use Product costing as costing method and use a costing sheet
