DB in wrong state

Hello -
We encounter a problem with our livecache after a cluster switch
the db is not usable anymore
symptons:
dbmcli -U c db_start
ERR
-24783,ERR_WRONGDBSTATE: Operational state ONLINE of the database
instance is unsuitable.
-24782,ERR_DBSTATENEEDED1: Database instance must be in operational
state OFFLINE.
but when:
x_cons LSC show all
SERVERDB: LSC
The SERVERDB state is OFFLINE
So it seems the effective state is offline, while all tools (incl LC10) thinks it's online
when trying to bring it down with db_offline or with LC10, we get:
dbmcli on LSC>db_offline
ERR
-24994,ERR_RTE: Runtime environment error
1,database not accesssible: pipe open (6:N

SQL History - returning wrong statement if history is sorted

I have searched the forum and not seen anything on this, but I have been getting the wrong SQL statement returned when I select Append/Replace.
I have statements going back to 12-Jan-06 (using 804 since 13-Jan-06, 796 since 12-Jan-06 and 715 last year), so I don't know if I have hit the aging limit or not (I think I counted 221 entries).
It seems to me that it works out the cursor position and then returns that statement number from the history - independently of resorting the history.
For example, if I sort from oldest to newest (based on timestamp) and then select the bottom statement (displays as newest) and Replace, I get the oldest statement in the worksheet. If I select the top statement (displays as oldest) and Replace, I get the newest statement in the worksheet.
This is further complicated by the fact that sorting on the Timestamp is doing an alpha-numeric sort, rather than a date sort. When sorting from oldest to newest, the bottom three timestamps are (in "oldest to newest" order) are:

1/23/06 9:31 AM
If I then remove the sorting, the statement returned is the correct one.

It was great to get the fix for the SQL History returning the right statement if sorted (we got it in v1184).
However v1215 still does a text sort on the TimeStamp column rather than a date sort, so 2PM comes before 9AM, etc.
Also, where is the format for the TimeStamp column coming from? As someone who doesn't live in the US and thinks that days should come before months in date formats (ie DD-Mon-YYYY), I am frustrated by yet another product that uses MM/DD/YY, despite my best efforts at telling it otherwise.

SNMP Help - wrong state for failed fan

Trying to figureout what I'm doing wrong. Have a Cisco 2821 router with Fan 3 not rotating. SNMP setup to trap on fan status, but the state shows to be shutdown and not failed as the router messages would indicate. The router is at a very remote location and I cannot verify if it's actually turning. Just going by what's presented when accessing the router.
Anything I can do to change the state so that it triggers alerts on our monitoring system?

Transition to wrong state

I have this FXP that I am working on - to make a long story short, this project has several buttons that do the wrong thing. For example, "Parking" should transition to the Parking State. Instead, it transitions to IT services state. I have the transition for the parking button to a click transition to the parking state. However, it doesn't do what it should. Any advice? This also happens for other buttons/states, such as WaLC (transitions to More), student accounts (transitions to Intl state).

I took a quick look at the project. I think what I am seeing is your buttons that slide up are built incorrectly. In looking at the layers for Step 2, you can see the IT services looks different from the other elements in the thumbnail. This is component was built differently from the others. Also if you look at the layer order, since it's height equal the start and end positions of the animation, that entire region is considered the 'button', and thus the interaction will be triggered. You can reorder the layering of the element for a fast fix, or rebuild that one element.

Please note i have extracted J2I5 for RG23c and Executed the J2I6 Register. when i am going through the Report the closing balance is wrong because the transaction J1IH posting shows in Amount Utilized side in J2I6 Report.
Also comming J1ih - reversal - Credit BED shown in Amount utilized in J2i6 Report. It should be shown in minus in 'Fresh Credit Availed'
Let me know any SAP Note for the correction in this program.

How to debugg and find wrong statements and correct in Oracle PL/SQL

Any1 can guide me, how to debug oracle PL/SQL package, and have to fix bugs or changing the requirement by using toad, sometimes i resolve the problem, and i take backup in notepad, after sometime if i use the same notepad contents, the something changed, i dont no how to keep the "IF loop" correctly, Sometimes while editing, the loop nevigation changes, so that i am getting more confusions. I dont no how to correct the packages already written, and how to solve problems, i use anonymous for seeing output. Dont no how to identify and fix the bug or requirement changes,. I am not sure where the code need changes. How to test properly for fixing the bugs, and how to change the logic, any1 help me out from this,... kindly give me good solution.. thnak you in advance

About getting a wrong plan due to incorrect stats

can someone give an example which demonstrate how wrong stats on a table lead to a different/inefficient execution plan? I tried one but in what I tried, optimizer picked same plan when stats were incorrect. What I tried was to have a table with two columns and an index on one column and select based on this column as below:

In the example I tried, oracle picks the same plan whether stats are updated or not - I am trying to get one example where oracle picks wrong plan (due to incorrect stats).

It doesn't matter whether or not you have the cheapest or most expensive voice and text plants, smartphones require a data plan to be eligible for a discount. It should be the same for the iPhone 4.
As for any work discount, I don't think you need to do anything to continue to receive it. I receive a discount for working with the government and I didn't need to do anything when I changed my plan a couple of times before.

How to fix the iphone 4s if it is the wrong carrier iphone 4s?

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and how to fix it. Lets see in October 2012 I bought a brand new Iphone 4s. I had it less than a week when I sent it to Apple because it had already been updated to IOS 6 without my knowledge and the battery was dying and some other issues was going on with the phone. My carrier Sprint that I purchased it from has a 2 year contract. What Apple sent me back for my brand new Iphone 4s was a used refurbished Iphone 4s with Verizon carrier. I spent hours on the phone with Apple and Sprint. Sprint told me to tell Apple that I needed a Sprint Iphone. Well I tried but they said they could make it work as long as I didn't try to install a sim card because then the phone would not work at all. Well besides everything on my phone refering to Verizon or At&t but never my carrier Sprint I suppose it could have been worse. I actually have never seen the OS 5.11 all I have ever seen is OS 6. Even the refurbished Verizon phone I was sent was already updated to I0S 6 so I couldn't change it. My husbands iphone 4s from Sprint never updated on its on, his is still IOS 5. Anyway, my battery dies quite frequently and now my refurbished Verizon/Sprint iphone has updated to IOS 6.02 which is even worse. When ever I log into a online account I am always showing up as that I am logging in from another state like Georgia with Sprint carrier but I don't live in Georgia. Pretty much anytime I Iog into any online account I am never on a Sprint Network in my state . Always the wrong state. Try to do a soft reset which doesn't help because the factory defaults for the phone is Verizon and lets not forget it won't work with a sprint sim card at all. I also try to atleast restore it to I0S 6 on itunes but it keeps stating restore and update. So now I am stuck with IOS 6.02. I think it would be great if I could use I0S 5 like my husband has on his Iphone 4s. Any suggestions on how to fix my screwed up iphone 4s. I would go to an apple store but the closest one is over an hour a way. So thats out for now. So how do I use my iphone 4s with carrier Sprint on their celluar network in my state and possibly the city I live in, also which is all in the UnitedStates?

FF67 problem, can't change statement date(statement saved but not post)

I need to change the statement date of a bankstatement. I did not post the statement yet.
I used a wrong statement date, and I want to change it, but I saved it after booking the second screen(the one with the
statement items)
When I look by Manual Bank Statement Overview I see the bankstatement, but it has no Posting complete remark yet, because it has not been postefdofcourse.
The problem is I can't change the statement date, because when I try to Post then the systems gives an error because it does not accept the new statement date I want to use.
Is there a way to solve this problem? The statement has not been posted yet, so I suprised I can't change the statement date.
Anyway I hope somebody can help me out.

I had to post them first because otherwise it looks I could not delete the statement.
I saw no Id with only saving, that's why I post them. then the statement got an id.
What do I have to choose to make it possible to delete statements, not posted yet.
I guess I have to select something else because I did not see any Id to choose.
I do a manual input of the bankstatements (no import).
Whst's the best I can do now? What do you mean with FI?
I guess I can do a manual booking on the three(send/receive and general) bankaccounts to get the right position of the accounts?
The bankstatements are ok(booked with ff67) only the three accounts I mention above have the wrong position.

where is the location of state code in SAP B1 so that i can fill the correct codes of the state coz iwant to import BP and error while importing i get is wrong state code.

Administration -> System Initialization -> Company Details -> General Tab ->Local language
Click on the Dropdown box next to 'State'.
Scroll to the bottom and select 'Define New'

Wrong data values displayed for YTD in reports

Hi,
In my reports when i try to select measures as YTD, eg. March 2010 YTD, i get wrong values for entities. But, apart from YTD, i get absolutely correct values if i select measures as anually, quarterly or monthly.
I have checked ISBEGINNING property in time dimension and assigned values as 0 and 1 for the respective values. I have also checked if i have any wrong statements in dbo.measureformula in SQL server Management studio which might give wrong calculations but could not find any.
Please guide me through.

Oracle + Unix question , Error validation for SQL statements in co process

Thanks for the response, I guess people misunderstood my question .
My question was about "error handling in case of CO PROCESS". For those who don't know about this, in case CO PROCESS you just need to login once to Oracle. In my above code It is logging in & out for each entry in the list. CO process statements may look Similar to SQL statements in pro*C. In PRO*C we use EXEC, but here print -p statements..
a sample is given for those who are new to co process.

Correct way to cleanup lccs state for Connect/Disconnect functionality

I am trying to implement connect/disconnect functionality but I got some errors - when user connects to another room after disconnect different objects(for example AudioPublisher) may end up in incorrect state. Currently I perform following sequence of actions on disconnect: call stop method on AudioPublisher, call close method on AudioPublisher, and then call close method on ConnectionSession. When I reconnect again AudioPublisher object in wrong states and throws different exceptions("Stream not found", "Stream already exists"). Can you recommend some approach to avoid these errors?

Seems like using multiple connectsession (connecting to different rooms) is messing your app. We handle most of the clean up in the close & stop methods for AudioPublisher. If you are still facing issues can you share your code.

MDM Console show wrong status of the Syndicate Server

my MDM Console show me the wrong state of the Symdiction Server. The MDSS is running and works but the MDM Console show me that the MDS is offline. When I restart the MDSS the Console show green (online). After a while is the state in the console red. And we didn't know why. Have anybody the same Problem? We are using the MDM Console 7.1.05.66.

Can you or ask Basis team to restart the MDS from Operating System Level. As I too faced the same issue, once restarted from Operting system level, It reflected in Console GUI.

Default_where sql statement problem

I am using forms 6i , having a form with data blocks AREA and AREA1 , their data sources are from single table 'area'
right side of the form shows the list of all area names (only one attribute in tabular form ) inserted before , on trigger of when_new_form instance (that is AREA1 block),
on clicking on :AREA1.NAME I want to execute the details of of area table in AREA block...
for this I specified on_mouse_click trigger

problem has been fixed...
actually something was wrong with the code , I misunderstood that while using pl/sql where to display single quote we should use tow times single quote .. that's way I used ''%'' around the percentage sign
