Is that directory existing on drive F? The system can't access that directory.
> and I DO get the same message when I run it manually from the command prompt.
as user bs1adm?
Note: on Windows there are two users, a <sid>adm for administration and a user SAPService<SID> that is used to run the system and which one you can't logon.

    Hi Jiggi
Are you running 2 jobs at the same time from DB13?  What do you mean by >Db13 both the jobs failed
    >ORA-00001: unique constraint
can happen due to lot of reasons in SAP. Basically it means you are insertion of  already existing records.
This also may happen due to bug in brtools patch level. What is your brtools patch level?

    Hello Anbu,
the reason for this error is that you have no TEMPFILEs in your temporary tablespace (usually PSAPTEMP).
Please add one with the BR*Tools:

  • DB13 Check and update optimizer stat error: ORA-01652: unable to extend tem

    Hi SAP Gurus,
When running Check and Update Optimizer Statistics in DB13, an error occurs.
    BR0280I BRCONNECT time stamp: 2011-03-10 06.35.52

Looking at tablespace SYSTEM in DB02, the percent used is 58. Auto-extent feature is OFF. Will turning the auto-extent ON, remove the error?

It seems like Your user (by a mistake) have tablespace SYSTEM as temporary tablespace.
Connect as sysdba in Your database and check which temp tablespaces awaiable, and size of them:
    select tablespace_name, sum(bytes)/1024/1024 "Size of TEMP TBS in MB" from dba_temp_files  group by tablespace_name;
Check which users having SYSTEM as tamp-tbs:
    select username, temporary_tablespace from dba_users where temporary_tablespace like 'SYSTEM' order by 1;
Change those users to have one of your temp-tablespaces:
    alter user &username temporary tablespace &&TempTBS;
It's also a good idea to have autoextend on on Your temp TBS, but remember to set maxsize so you doesn't fill up your disksystem.
    Hope this solve Your problems.

  • DB parameter check for AUTO_MAINT failed

Can someone help me out.  I am doing the prepare for an Upgrade to ERP 2005 from SAP 4.7.  I am at the General Checks phase 07 of the prepare and it is failing and the CHECKS.LOG shows.  DB parameter check for AUTO_MAINT failed.  I have checked this parameter using db2 get db cfg for <SID> and the param is set to = ON.  I have changed it to OFF just as an attempt but no luck.  Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

    hi,
my first advice would be to use the latest SAPup version from SAP service marketplace (build version >24.063) - since i do not know which SAPup version and which DB2 version you are using.
please keep in mind also point XII/ of OSS note 819876:
XII/   SAPup 7.00/2, build 24.063 or higher, generates incorrect
commands for the adjustment of database parameters for DB Version 8
The CHK_DB6_PAR_INI and CHK_DB6_PAR_PRE phases check the values of the
selected db(m) cfg parameters. If you need to change these values, the
commands required to change the parameters are explicitly issued in
    CHECKS.LOG.
As of SAPup 7.00/2 build 24.063 and higher, incorrect commands may be
gerenated for DB2 UDB Version 8. Use the following list to change these:
db(m) parameter     Generated value     Modified value
    DIR_CACHE                0                      NO
    KEEPFENCED            0                      NO
    DFT_MON_BUFPOOL  1                      ON
    AUTO_MAINT              1                      ON
    AUTO_TBL_MAINT       1                      ON
    AUTO_RUNSTATS       1                      ON
    Example:
    Instead of the generated command
    db2 update db cfg for <SAPSID> using AUTO_MAINT 1
you must enter the following changed command:
db2 update db cfg for <SAPSID> using AUTO_MAINT ON

  • How to solve the issue "CUV check user equivalence failed" ?

    Folks,
Hello. I am installing Oracle 11gR2 RAC using 2 VMs (rac1 and rac2) whose OS are Oracle Linux 5.6 in VMPlayer according to the website http://appsdbaworkshop.blogspot.com/2011/10/11gr2-rac-on-linux-56-using-vmware.html
In order to install Grid Infrastructure, we need to run Cluster Utility Verification (CUV) at first by running the cammand below:
    [ora11g@rac1 grid]$ ./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n rac1,rac2 -verbose
    Its output:
Performing pre-checks for cluster services setup
Check: User equivalence for user “ora11g”
    Node Comment
    rac1 failed
    rac2 failed
Result: PRVF-4007 : User equivalence check failed for user “ora11g”
    ERROR:
User equivalence unavailable on all the specified nodes
    Verification cannot proceed
Pre-check for cluster services setup was unsuccessful on all the nodes.
As you see above, check user equivalence failed. I have run the 4 commands to fix this error as below:
    [ora11g@rac1 /]$ ssh-keygen
    Its output:
    Generating public/private rsa key pair.
Enter file in which to save the key (/home/grid/.ssh/id_rsa):
Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase):
    Enter same passphrase again:
Your identification has been saved in /home/grid/.ssh/id_rsa.
Your public key has been saved in /home/grid/.ssh/id_rsa.pub.
    The key fingerprint is:
    0c:10:6c:3b:ae:21:63:64:f8:0d:0e:d8:f0:41:32:ff [email protected]
    [ora11g@rac1 .ssh]$ cat *pub >>authorized_keys
    [ora11g@rac1 .ssh]$ ssh rac1
    Its output:
The authenticity of host ‘rac1 (127.0.0.1)’ can’t be established.
    RSA key fingerprint is 9d:ae:51:7c:72:81:07:37:31:92:f1:c8:90:bc:52:55.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
Warning: Permanently added ‘rac1′ (RSA) to the list of known hosts.
    Write failed: Broken pipe.
    [ora11g@rac1 .ssh]$ ssh rac1-priv
    Its output:
The authenticity of host ‘rac1-priv (192.168.137.35)’ can’t be established.
    RSA key fingerprint is 9d:ae:51:7c:72:81:07:37:31:92:f1:c8:90:bc:52:55.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
Warning: Permanently added ‘rac1-priv,192.168.137.35′ (RSA) to the list of known hosts.
    Write failed: Broken pipe.
After run the 4 commands above, I run the command below again:
    [ora11g@rac1 grid]$ ./runcluvfy.sh stage -pre crsinst -n rac1,rac2 -verbose
    Its output is the same:
PRVF-4007 : User equivalence check failed for user “ora11g”
    ERROR:
User equivalence unavailable on all the specified nodes
    Verification cannot proceed
I think the problem is "Broken pipe" and ssh cannot write authorized_keys to the machines.
    My question is:
Do any folk understand how to solve the issue CUV "check user equivalence failed" for 2 VMs ?
    Thanks.

    Folks,
Hello. Thanks a lot for replying.
I have installed Grid Infrastructure a few times. Each time, on step 7 of 9, the installer fixes and checks 2 machines correctly. The entire installation has 3 parts as below:
    1) Install Grid Infrastructure for a Cluster
    2) Execute Root Scripts for Install Grid Infrastructure for a Cluster (script is root.sh)
    3) Configure Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a Cluster that includes NCA, ASMCA, PICA and CVU.
Each time, on step 8 of 9, the Installer installs Grid Infrastructure for a Cluster successfully that includes "Prepare, Copy files, Link binaries, Setup files and Perform remote operations".
But when the Installer get to part 3 CVU, it fails and then the Database cannot be installed.
Deinstall Grid is a very complicated process to do. Because of this reason, we need to run CVU at first to make sure everything is correct for 2 machines before install Grid.
Even we ignore "user equivalence (ssh)", we don't know whether other items can be passed or not because CVU cannot proceed to check the machines.
    My question is:
How to have the script "runcluvfy.sh" continue to check the machines while confronting "user equivalence failed" ?

Why will new Photos ap on mac not email? No "email" pulldown  -shows "more" for extensions which has Outlook checked but does me no good.

I am struggling with the same problem. I have two HP 4100dtn printers on ethernet. Each has a manually assigned IP address. I can set up the printer(s) just fine in the Print & Fax Preference and Snow Leopard finds the printer just fine when I enter the IP address and chooses the correct HP Driver.
When I try to print, my print job appears in the queue as expected, than an error appears that something about a "bad command". Sorry, I'm home right now and don't have direct access to the printer so I can't give you the precise language of the message, but the gist of the message is that the system tried to connect to the printer to send the print data but the printer does not know how to respond to the command that was sent.
It's as if the firmware in the 4100 just doesn't have something in it's lexicon that Snow Leopard needs. The HP web site is no help. One page I found says the printer is supported (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&obje ctID=c01664444&jumpid=regR1002USEN ) and another page I found says that it is not supported (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&obje ctID=c01879014&jumpid=regR1002USEN). The HP on line chat won't let me log in and hold a chat with HP unless I know the Serial Number of the printer, which I don't have here at home.
    More to follow tomorrow.
    Anyone have any ideas?

  • What the "use JSP presentation" check box does?

Can someone tell me what the "use JSP presentation" check box does? (can't find any documentation)
When I set "Implementation type" to "BPM Object Interactive Call' if a check "use JSP presentation" instead of "Use BPM Object Presentation" and I enter a JSP name can I cause the process to start a JSP ?

    Hello,
The option is intended to use a JSP instead of a form for a BPM Object interactive call. This means that you have to prepare your custom JSP, add a special tag library provided by Fuego and "mark" your html tags deciding which of them will become the attributes for the instance of your BPM Object.
Whitin the page you can also call some methods of your objects.
Finally you can post back the data and automatically update your object in the process. There is no much documentation and it's even quite old. Take a look here: [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13154_01/bpm/docs65/taglib/index.html]
The JSP will be shown as a normal interactive activity popup window. You can customize it as you like, even adding some client side script.

  • P2 "Check for update failed unexpectedly"

    Hi
I am implementing p2 update for my application (followed tutorial on https://blog.codecentric.de/en/2015/04/add-p2-update-functionality-to-an-efxclipse-application-eclipse-rcp-cookbook/)
Application finds update (tells that there are updates for my product) but gives an error
"Check for update failed unexpectedly". Thats all. Nothing more. How can I debug? I can not test under Eclipse. What should I do?
    Ubuntu 14.10, JDK 1.8-45, Mars Efxclipse 2.0.0
By the way thank you very much Tom, for all answers you give. I really appreciate your help.

There should be some more information, as the causing exception is included in the wrapping StatusException.
To debug have a look at UpdateServiceImpl#checkUpdate() where the exception is raised.
You could for example register a listener onException() to your UpdateService#checkUpdate() to get more information about the raised StatusException.
