Please ignore this post. Timestamp is correct only. CREATED timestamp is < than LAST_DDL_TIME

Hi Mat,
What objects are you talking about? I can't see any object where the last_ddl_time is older than created.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Srinivasu,
    If you are talking about handling by-products during subcontracting follow the following steps.
    Create Purchase order with item category "L". In the components tab maintain by-product in negative quantity. If you are not sure about the actual quantity, enter theoretical quantity ( Actual quantity can be adjusted in Subsequent adjustment in Goods receipt).
    Hope this helps you.

  • Create tablespace whose name length is greater than 50 ?

    Can i create tablespace in oracle 10g whose name length is greater than 50 characters ?

    Name tablespaces descriptively using a maximum of eight characters. Although Oracle Database tablespace names can be 30 characters long, portable UNIX filenames are restricted to 14 characters. The recommended standard for a datafile basename is tn.dbf, where t is a descriptive tablespace name and n is a two-digit string. Because the extension and the two-digit string take six characters, only eight characters remain for the tablespace name.

  • Rownum greater than query

    Hi all,
    first of all, what I am aware about...
    I am aware about the fact, that ROWNUM filters, inside the query which is to be filtered by rownum, are incorrect. That is this is incorrect:
    select * from <table> where rownum < 20;
    Also I am aware, that the following will never return a result:
    select * from <table> where rownum > 20;
    That is clear. The correct version of the "less than" query is:
    select * from (select * from <table> order by a) where rownum < 20;
    Now the question: what does the last example still not work with "greater than" queries:
    Take e.g. following example:
    select * from (
    select * from dba_objects order by object_name
    ) where rownum > 5
    ;

    I ckeck it again. It's working for me !
    Any way I'll quote it.
    How ROWNUM Works
    ROWNUM is a pseudocolumn (not a real column) that is available in a query. ROWNUM will be assigned the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, ... N, where N is the number of rows in the set ROWNUM is used with. A ROWNUM value is not assigned permanently to a row (this is a common misconception). A row in a table does not have a number; you cannot ask for row 5 from a table—there is no such thing.
    Also confusing to many people is when a ROWNUM value is actually assigned. A ROWNUM value is assigned to a row after it passes the predicate phase of the query but before the query does any sorting or aggregation. Also, a ROWNUM value is incremented only after it is assigned, which is why the following query will never return a row:
    select *
    from t
    where ROWNUM > 1;
    Because ROWNUM > 1 is not true for the first row, ROWNUM does not advance to 2. Hence, no ROWNUM value ever gets to be greater than 1. Consider a query with this structure:
    select ..., ROWNUM
    from t
    where <where clause>
    group by <columns>
    having <having clause>
    order by <columns>;
    Think of it as being processed in this order:
    1. The FROM/WHERE clause goes first.
    2. ROWNUM is assigned and incremented to each output row from the FROM/WHERE clause.
    3. SELECT is applied.
    4. GROUP BY is applied.
    5. HAVING is applied.
    6. ORDER BY is applied.
    That is why a query in the following form is almost certainly an error:
    select *
    from emp
    where ROWNUM <= 5
    order by sal desc;
    The intention was most likely to get the five highest-paid people—a top-N query. What the query will return is five random records (the first five the query happens to hit), sorted by salary. The procedural pseudocode for this query is as follows:
    ROWNUM = 1
    for x in
    ( select * from emp )
    loop
    exit when NOT(ROWNUM <= 5)
    OUTPUT record to temp
    ROWNUM = ROWNUM+1
    end loop
    SORT TEMP
    It gets the first five records and then sorts them. A query with WHERE ROWNUM = 5 or WHERE ROWNUM > 5 doesn't make sense. This is because a ROWNUM value is assigned to a row during the predicate evaluation and gets incremented only after a row passes the WHERE clause.
    Here is the correct version of this query:
    select *
    from
    ( select *
    from emp
    order by sal desc )
    where ROWNUM <= 5;
    This version will sort EMP by salary descending and then return the first five records it encounters (the top-five records). As you'll see in the top-N discussion coming up shortly, Oracle Database doesn't really sort the entire result set—it is smarter than that—but conceptually that is what takes place.

  • Schedule line getting confirmed when Ordered Quanity is greater than stock.

    Hi Sap Gurus,
    We have an issue in one of the sales scenario.
    In one of the sales orders the ordered quanity is purposely maintained greater than the stock at respective storage location(batch managed).
    In this case the schedule line should not get confirmed and it should not allow delivery document creation.
    But in the sales order the schedule lines are geeting confirmed and even the delivery document is getting created with picking request completion.
    Could you please help to understand :
    1.  why the schedule lines are getting confirmed when ordered quantity > Inventory?
    2. How do I stop delivery document creaton in this scenario?
    Looking for a quick response.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bhaskar

    Hello Bhaskar,
    Is Availability Check in your system considering Replenishment Lead time, if yes, then this is possible.
    Check this IMG Link:
    IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Availability Check with ATP Logic or Against Planning - Carry Out Control For Availability Check
    Here check the RLT settings.
    Also check settings under In/Outward Movements, where things like include Purchase Order can lead to confirmation of stock in Sales Order, despite physical inventory being present.
    Hope this helps,

  • PO greater than Shopping Cart Qty

    Friends,
    We are working on extended classic scenario where PO is created as follow-on document from shopping cart. User can create PO in sourcing cockpit using Process PO option. However here user has the option to change PO qty where system accepts PO qty greater than SC qty. We would like to restrict it.
    In R/3 MM we can control this via system message and restrict PO qty to exceed PR qty.
    How can we control this functionality in SRM?
    Regards,
    Sandeep Parab

    Hi. Try the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.
    You should be able to check the quantities and issue an error if the quantity has been changed.
    Regards,
    Dave.

  • Formatting external drive for read/write PC/Mac & files greater than 4GB

    I'm on Snow Leopard and deliver an external drive off-site to a video editor who needs to read/write to the drive and return the edited files and then I need to read/write all over again. All video files are greater than 4GB. How would I go about this? Third party applications like MacDrive create too much overhead when processing video files. FAT32 limits file sizes to 4GB.

    Hi WillDuffy;
    Your requirement of files greater than 4GB eliminates FAT.
    In your case since you don't have access to the PC, I am afraid you are forced to use the NTFS. This will require you to use the reverse engineered effort called NTFS-3G to be able to write to the disk from your Mac. Sorry.

  • CcBPM - switch with a condition (greater than) in XI 7.0

    Hello.
    I have this BPM that must have a switch condition like:
    IF <field xpto> of the received message is greater than 0.
      branch 1.
    ELSE.
      branch 2.
    ENDIF.
    In XI 7.1 is easy, because the condition editor has logical expressions like >, <, etc ...
    In XI 7.0 we don't have that, but in SAP help I read:
    You want to formulate the following condition: The booking number (BookingNumber) is greater than 0100.
    Since the greater than (>) operator is not available in the condition editor, you can use the following solution: You define the relevant logical expression in the expression editor by means of an XPath predicate, and assign it to a node element. Using the condition editor you then just query the existence of this node element (by using the existence operator (EX)).
    This means you first create the following expression in the expression editor:
    /FlightBookingOrderConfirmation [BookingID/BookingNumber > 0100]
    Using the condition editor, you then formulate the following condition:
    (/FlightBookingOrderConfirmation [BookingID/BookingNumber > 0100] EX)
    The meaning of this condition is as follows:
    A node element FlightBookingOrderConfirmation exists, to which the following applies: The content of the subelement BookingID/BookingNumber is greater than 0100.
    In my example, the xpath for the variable is:
    /p4:EventMessage/p4:MessageBody/p5:Order/p5:Totals/p5:TotalGrossAmount
    But i'm not getting how to use the bracket condition.
    Regards,
    Valter Oliveira.
    Edited by: Valter Oliveira on Mar 10, 2009 6:04 PM

    Hi, valter:
    Existence operator (EX) is to check if the node exist in your source message or not.
    It is used in Conditional Editor, mostly in the conditional routing in ID.
    IF <field xpto> of the received message is greater than 0.
    branch 1.
    ELSE.
    branch 2.
    ENDIF.
    If your branch 1 or 2 is a send step, then you can use the conditional routing to substitute BPM logic.
    otherwise, you can not use conditon editor to replace your BPM logics.
    Regards.

  • Increasing maximum number of Logical Processors in a Processor Group greater than the default (64)

    Can the maximum number of Logical Processors allowed in a Processor Group be increased by Bcdedit command or registry key to a number greater than the default (64) to allow non-group-aware applications to seamlessly scale via multithreading across more cores
    MSDN documents methods to reduce the max number of LP's in a Processor Group to 1 or any power of 2 less than 64 in order to increase the number of Processor Groups.  But there is no discussion of how to increase the maximum number of Logical Processors
    allowed in a Processor Group to a number greater than the default (64), e.g. to 128 or 256.
    Since a non-group-aware application/process can only run on 1 Processor Group, increasing this limit is needed to allow non-group-aware multithreaded applications to scale seamlessly for parallel computation across more than 64 cores simultaneously on systems
    with more than 64 cores (for example, a quad-socket Intel Xeon system with 24 cores per socket, including true and hyper cores).  If that limit can be set via registry key or command line, or if there is another way to force all the cores on
    all 4 sockets (4 NUMA nodes in this case) to join in 1 Processor Group, then non-group-aware applications will not need to be rewritten using group-aware thread-affinity APIs.

    Hi John,
    Are you trying to specify a static NUMA-node-to-group assignment, rather than letting Windows dynamically assign NUMA nodes to groups at boot time? If yes, You can refer the
    following related KB:
    How to manually configure K-Group assignment on multiprocessor machines
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2506384
    Systems with fewer than 64 logical processors always have a single group, Group 0. On systems with 64 or fewer processors, existing applications will operate correctly without
    modification. Applications that do not call any functions that use processor affinity masks or processor numbers will operate correctly on all systems, regardless of the number of processors. To operate correctly on systems with more than 64 logical processors,
    the following kinds of applications might require modification:
    •Applications that manage, maintain, or display per-processor information for the entire system must be modified to support more than 64 logical processors. An example of
    such an application is Windows Task Manager, which displays the workload of each processor in the system.
    •Applications for which performance is critical and that can scale efficiently beyond 64 logical processors must be modified to run on such systems. For example, database
    applications might benefit from modifications.
    •If an application uses a DLL that has per-processor data structures, and the DLL has not been modified to support more than 64 logical processors, all threads in the application
    that call functions exported by the DLL must be assigned to the same group.
    By design, a non-NUMA computer is considered to have one NUMA node. Because NUMA nodes cannot span groups, the system creates a node for each group after you restart the computer.

  • Amount to credit greater than credit balance - goods return to AP Cred Note

    Hi All,
    I've got the following scenario:
    We have a AP Goods Return on the system which totals £12.94 with freight charges of -£3.75. We have copied this to a AP Credit Note, but have amended the freight from -£3.75 to -£3.00(UK VAT Rate 15% applicable throughout). The total credit field now shows £13.80 and the credit balance field shows £12.94. When you try to add the document it gives an error "amount to credit greater than credit balance". I'm using 2005A PL53.
    Can anyone please advise the reason behind the error and also what the correct way of handling this kind of transaction would be?
    Kind regards,
    Matt

    Hi Wesley,
    I tried both methods and it doesn't resolve the issue. Spoke to SAP, they gave me a solution and workaround, the issue is a bit more complicated as what it may seem. You manually have to close the goods return, create a standalone service credit note with the appropriate GL account to reverse out the "goods clearing account" entry created by the reversal journal. The bahaviour has been changed in SBO 2007 and therefore the problem is not present in this version anymore. Thanks for your help anyway.
    Kind regards,
    Matt

  • Greater than or equal symbol not working

    Hi,
    I cannot get the "greater than or equal to" symbol to display properly. I can get the less than or equal symbol to display by typing Ctrl+q #, and then formatting it as Symbol font.
    According to the Character_Sets.pdf FrameMaker Online reference, the greaterequal symbol is Ctrl+q 3, but when I format it as Symbol, FrameMaker displays a box (which looks to me to be a non-printing character).
    Any suggestions on how I get a "greater than or equal to" symbol to display?
    Thanks,

    Try this...
    Click in margin.
    Format > Characters > Designer...
    Character Tag: [ Symbol ]
    Family: [ Symbol ]
    all else As Is or blank
    Commands: New Format...
    [*] Store in Catalog
    Click in Body Flow A.

    [Create Variable]
    Name: [ char.symbol.greaterequal ]
    Definition: [ <Symbol>\xb3 ]
    [Add]
    [Done]
    [Insert]
    Advantages:
    Avoid frequent arcane typing: you only need to look up the special character entry sequence once per document (if that - we keep these var defs in a separate catalog for ease of application).
    Isolates special char encodings for dealing with eventual replacement by native Unicode glyphs and/or ports to platforms lacking legacy Symbol overlay font
    Isolates special char renderings for possible changes to font with native >= glyph
    Assures text inserted adjacent to symbol will be in native paragraph font, and not Symbol.
    Prevents spell checker from needlessly complaining.
    Is portable between FM platforms and releases, although \xb3 does appear as Š (cap s caron above) in Windows dialogs.
    Disadvantages:
    If you apply a Default ¶ Font to the para, the variable is no longer in Symbol font (but this is always the case for variables that use alternate fonts). You have to re-select the var (which may be hard to even see), and re-insert it.
    If you highlight the entire para, or just the text containing the var, and apply a new PgfTag, the variable likewise gets de-fonted. It has ever been thus.
    You have to search by Variable, and not by special character.
    So what do we suppose made this topic so popular that it's got over 1000 Views so far?
    I tried these instructions with great anticipation, but alas, it did not work for me.
    Maybe it works differently on FrameMaker 9. I even tried making a PDF to see if it just rendered differently on the screen, since you mentioned the display in Windows dialog boxes (even though I was just in the main flow).
    See the screenshot below for my results.
