Dbassist generates XML how can I use

The dbassist tool in 9i generates XML files for the template definitions.
Are there any DTD for this XML?
How can I use this templates in silent mode (without GUI) to generate the creation scripts.

The GeoRaster metadata is schema-based, so you have to give the scheme name when call the XML SQL functions. For example,
select t.tmimage.metadata.extract(
'/gr:georasterMetadata/gr:layerInfo/gr:objectLayer',
'xmlns:gr=http://xmlns.oracle.com/spatial/georaster')
from landsat t
where t.id=0;
or
select t.tmimage.metadata.extract(
'/georasterMetadata/layerInfo/objectLayer',
'xmlns=http://xmlns.oracle.com/spatial/georaster')
from landsat t
where t.id=0;

    }OK, My questions are:
    [1]. what I generated XML by XSTream is very complicated, especially for object LocationTest, Can we make it as simple as others such as Person object??
    [2]. after I run it, LocationTest will popup and a red ball in a panel will dsiplay, after I change red ball's position, I hope to persist it to xml, then when I read it back, I hope to get same picture, ie, red ball stiil in old position, How to do that??
    Thanks a lot!!

    Positive feedback? Then please take this in a positive way: if you want to work on persisting Java objects into XML, then GUI programming is irrelevant to that goal. The 1,000 lines of code you posted there appeared to me to have a whole lot of GUI code in it. You should produce a smaller (much smaller) example of what you want to do. Calling the working code from your GUI program should come later.

  • How can i use the project code instead of project xml?

    hello
    i use the sessionbean+toplink structure,after i finish the o-r mapping by using the mapping work bench,i generate the project xml file,then in the "session.xml" file,i refer to the project xml,then i can use it from sessionbean.
    i hear that if i use the project code instead of project xml file,it will be more performant,is that true?
    otherwise,how can i use the project code instead of project xml file?i mean, in "session.xml", i can use the "<project-xml>" tag to refer to the project xml file,then in my session bean,i get the server session by read the "session.xml" file.but if i use the project code,how can i refer it from the "session.xml"?the examples that come with the toplink installation only tell me how can i use the project xml file within the session bean,it don't give me any clue about using the project code in the sesion bean,who can give me a step-by-step instruction and code snippet?
    thank you very much?

    There is a slight performance gain during session load at startup but there is no difference at runtime. The choice of which to use is dependent upon you build process. Whether it is easier to submit a new version of the class into the comile build process vs an XML file. In most cases it is just a preference of the development team.
    When you use the project-class you'll need to generate the source code and compile it into your system. Typically it is packaged with the persistent classes. You may need to configure your environment so that the class-loaders have access to these classes (same for the XML case).
    When using the project-class you simply replace the project-xml entry like this:
    <project-class>oracle.toplink.demos.employee.relational.EmployeeProject</project-class>
    The DTD for the session.xml file is found at <TOPLINK_HOME>\core\sessions_4_5.dtd. It is also in the documentation at:
    http://otn.oracle.com/docs/products/ias/doc_library/90200doc_otn/toplink.903/b10064/a-sessio.htm#634246

  • How can I use a 3rd party XML parser such as xerces with OC4J ?

    Hi all tech experts,
    I am using Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) and i have
    installed Portal and Wireless and OracleAS Infrastructure on the same
    computer.
    i tried all the solutions on this thread
    Use of Xerces Parser in out application with Oracle App Server 9.0.4
    but still fighting.
    I have also posted this query on OTN on following thread
    How can I use a 3rd party XML parser such as xerces with OC4J?
    but no reply....
    Please help me on this issue.
    Since OC4J is preconfigured to use the Oracle XML parser which is xmlparserv2.jar.
    i have read the following article which states that
    OC4J is preconfigured to use the Oracle XML parser. The Oracle XML parser is fully JAXP 1.1 compatible and will serve the needs of applications which require JAXP functionality. This approach does not require the download, installation, and configuration of additional XML parsers.
    The Oracle XML parser (xmlparserv2.jar) is configured to load as a system level library of OC4J through it's inclusion as an entry in the Class-Path entry of the oc4j.jar Manifest.mf file. This results in the Oracle XML parser being used for all common deployment and packaging situations. You are not permitted to modify the Manifest.mf file of oc4j.jar.
    It must be noted that configuring OC4J to run with any additional XML parser or JDBC library is not a supported configuration. We do know customers who have managed to successfully replace the system level XML parser and the Oracle JDBC drivers that ship with the product, but we do not support this type of configuration due to the possibility of unexpected system behavior and system errors that might occur from replacing the tested and certified libraries.
    If you absolutely must use an additional XML parser such as xerces, then you have to start OC4J such that the xerces.jar file is loaded at a level above the OC4J system classpath. This can be accomplished using the -Xbootclasspath flag of the JRE.
    i have also run the following command
    java -Xbootclasspath/a:d:\xerces\xerces.jar -jar oc4j.jar
    but no success.
    How could i utilize my jar's like xerces.jar and xalan.jar for parsing instead of OC4J in-built parser ?
    All reply will be highly appreciated.
    Thnx in advance to all.

    I am trying to deploy a sample xform application to the Oracle Application Server (10.1.3). However, I encountered the class loader issue that is similar to your stuation. I tried all the three solutions but the application is still use the Oracle xml paser class. I am wondering if you have any insight about this?

  • How can I use the templates I generated in CS5 Bridge, in Lightroom 4.4?

    How can I use the templates I generated in CS5 Bridge, in Lightroom 4.4 ?
    It appears that I can not link the templates which I have been using in Bridge for some time to Lightroom 4.4.
    Is this done on purpose?
    Thanks in advance
    Doppy

    I assume these are metadata templates?
    in Bridge, apply a template to an image which has no other metadata (eg a dummy image ) and then import the image into Lightroom, ensuring no metadata applied in the Import dialog. Now in Lightroom's Metadata panel, save the metadata as a new Metadata Preset.
    Repeat for each template.

  • How can I use USRP as a noise generator?

    Hi everyone.
    Does anyone know how can I use a NI USRP 2920 to generate white noise or impulsive noise at its Tx port?
    (I am kind of new to this area and any help is appreciated)
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    I am assuming you are using LabVIEW to do this, correct? DO you have access to the help documentation for the NI-USRP driver? Within the help document there is a section called Software Fundamentals which has a section within it called NI-USRP Instrument Driver Programming Flow. This section shows you how to set up the USRP to transmit a signal. The default case is for an arbitrary array of data to be supplied to the Write Tx Data function. Instead you could use the output from the Uniform White Noise VI as the input for the Write Tx Data function. This should write the the white noise to the output of the USRP.
    NI-USRP Instrument Driver Programming Flow:

    Uniform White Noise VI:

  • Can any one suggest me how can I use relative path inside SSIS pacakge to access config file ?

    Can any one suggest me how can I use relative path inside SSIS pacakge to access config file ? Please help me as its urgent.THanks for your help in advance.

    Hi Jay,
    SSIS can only recognize the absolute path of a XML Configuration file, the relative path is not supported. Furthermore, if the XML Configuration file is already generated, we can use the Environment variable package configuration type instead so that
    SSIS runtime automatically looks for the configuration file from the path defined in the environment variable. This is convenient when we need to deploy a package to different environment. We only need to define the environment variable for package configurations
    once on each server, and then the variable can be used by all the packages on this server.

  • How can we use mode "UsePDF" in Interactive form?

    Hello everybody,
    I want to know that how can i use the mode usePdf in Interactive form?
    My scenario is:
    I have pdf form saved locally with blank fields.
    I save this file after requied values in all fields.
    Now i want to import this pdf file in interactive form and needs to submit this form so all the data in this pdf file are submitted to the System.
    How can i do this?
    regards,
    Bhavik

    Hi Bhavik,
    you do not need to use the upload ui element, if your pdf-file which you want to upload resides in you web application project. In the following you can find Web Dynpro code snippets I use in one of my demos for displaying an uploaded pdf-file:
    wdDoModifyView method of FormView:
        //@@begin wdDoModifyView
         try {
              // get interactive form element by ID
              InteractiveForm form = (InteractiveForm) view.getElement("Evaluation");
              if (wdContext.currentContextElement().getCurrentMode().equals("usePDF")) {
                   form.setMode(WDInteractiveFormMode.USE_PDF);
         catch (Exception e) {
              e.printStackTrace();
        //@@end
    onPlugFromUploadView method of UploadView:
        //@@begin onPlugFromUploadView(ServerEvent)
         try {
              // modify the context and set needed attributes
              wdContext.currentContextElement().setCurrentMode( "usePDF" );
              // extend the attribute "pdfSource" from the context to a modifiable binary type
              IWDAttributeInfo attInfo = wdContext.currentContextElement().node().getNodeInfo().getAttribute("pdfSource");
              ISimpleTypeModifiable type = attInfo.getModifiableSimpleType();
              IWDModifiableBinaryType binaryType = (IWDModifiableBinaryType) type;
              binaryType.setFileName("evaluationForm.pdf");
              binaryType.setMimeType(WDWebResourceType.PDF);
              // add the generated pdf to the context
              wdContext.currentContextElement().setPdfSource( evaluationForm ); // byte[] evaluationForm
         catch (Exception e) {
              wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportWarning(e.getLocalizedMessage());
        //@@end
    If you do not want to display the data before submitting the data, then you have to use the WDInteractiveFormHelper class for extracting the form data after upload in the context. This class is available since NetWeaver04 Support Package Stack (SPS) 10. The class com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.adobe.api.WDInteractiveFormHelper contains at the moment one helper function for PDF document. Here are the details:
    Constructor Detail
    public WDInteractiveFormHelper()
    Method Detail
    public static void transferPDFDataIntoContext(byte[] pdfSource, IWDNode targetNode)
    Method transferPDFDataIntoContext extracts data from a PDF document and copies the values into the Web Dynpro Context. The xml structure of the document data is applied starting from the specified target node. Usually, this node should be the same context node to which InteractiveForm-UIELement property dataSource is bound during PDF generation.
    Parameters:
    pdfSource - PDF document as byte[]
    targetNode - target IWDNode
    Hope this will help you,
    Regards, Carsten

  • How can WLS use JSP pages in a Web Application witth just a JRE [Web Application, WAR, JSP, weblogic.jsp.pageCheckSeconds and JRE]

              How can WLS use JSP pages in a Web Application (either a .war file or a war directory structure) without a java compiler?
              I suspect either the JSP specification is flawed (i.e. it doesn't take account of servers using just a JRE), or BEA's implementation is broken.
              Production servers do not have a JDK installed. They only have a JRE. Therfore a java compiler is not present on the machine that the Web Application is deployed onto.
              On the development machine, when the server is requested to load the JSP it creates a tmpwar directory within the Web Application directory structure. This is then included in the resultant .war file thus:
              D:\war>jar -tf gmi.war
              META-INF/
              META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
              gmiService.jsp
              WEB-INF/
              WEB-INF/classes/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/gmi/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/gmi/gmiService.class
              WEB-INF/getList.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByConnection.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByDistrict.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByDistrictConnection.xsl
              WEB-INF/lib/
              WEB-INF/source/
              WEB-INF/source/build.bat
              WEB-INF/source/gmiService.java
              WEB-INF/web.xml
              WEB-INF/weblogic.xml
              tmpwar/
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/_gmiservice.class
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/_gmiservice.java
              When deployed on the production server with the web.xml file set to use the following values (note XML stripped):
              weblogic.jsp.pageCheckSeconds
              -1
              weblogic.jsp.precompile
              false
              weblogic.jsp.compileCommand
              javac
              weblogic.jsp.verbose
              true
              weblogic.jsp.packagePrefix
              jsp_servlet
              weblogic.jsp.keepgenerated
              false
              And in the weblogic.properties file:
              weblogic.httpd.webApp.gmi=war/gmi
              I've also tried with the .war file, but that insists on creating another tmpwar directory outside of the .war file.
              Then, although I have set pageCheckSeconds to -1 (don't check and don't recompile) ter production server still attempts to recompile the JSP's:
              Mon Sep 25 11:40:11 BST 2000:<I> <WebAppServletContext-gmi> *.jsp: init

    The default Java compiler from sun lives in the tools.jar that comes with
              the JDK. Just add that to your set of JARs which are deployed in production
              and you should be fine. No need to install the full JDK - just make the
              tools.jar available to WebLogic.

  • How can i use Button in BEx  7.0

    Dear Folks,
    Could you help me please ..
    In BI 7.0, for BEx analyzer i see we can use button, combo box, analysis grid.
    If i have a requirement like this:
    1. I have sales report, where it has information about sales person.
    2. And i want to filter that report with the sales person that i choose from combo box.
    For that requirement, i tried to :
    1. I Create a query to Sales info-provider for displaying sales.
    2. I Create a query to either to MD Sales person / Sales info-provider in order to get Sales persons data.
    3. I assign point no 1 to Analysis Grid.
    4. I assign point no 2 to Combo box.
    My questions are:
    a. Is my techniques correct ??
    b. How can i use button to execute filter into the corresponding report ???
    c. Is there any tutorial regarding this ?? Could you share it to me please ..
    Really need your guidances..
    regards,
    Niel..

    Hi Niel,
    You can use the method you specified.
    In Bex Analyzer you have design mode where you can have the following items Button, Analysis Grid and Combo box.
    To work with the button you need to use the Command Wizard which consists of pre-defined functions, out of those select the one which suits your requirement and supply the parameters. As it is done thorugh a Wizard it would be easy to do.
    Also,
    The Button Name displays the name of the button, which is generated automatically and is unique. This name is used on the BEx Analyzer Design Toolbar menu to refer to a particular instance of the button.
    · Range u2013 Manipulate coordinates for a cell or cells in this field to move or resize the button.
    · Button Text - The text (caption) you want to display on the button. You can use this to describe the command the button executes.
    · Command Range (optional) - Specify a three-column range of cells in the worksheet that contains command parameters. In these cells, you provide the same parameters (Name, Index, and Value) as in the Static Parameters, but in the worksheet these can be variable, changing during
    navigation based on query results or on a value you manually specify.
    Button in Bex analyzer

  • How can I use XMLBeans in a Web Services client?

    How can I use XMLBeans in a standalone Java client with a Web Service?
    I posted the message below earlier in the year, but have not yet been successful
    in my
    attempts.
    regards
    Eddie
    Hi,
    I'm trying to using XMLBeans to send a document to a web service from a standalone
    Java client. I'm using the PurchaseOrder (easypo) example document, and the service
    expects a parameter of type PurchaseOrderDocument. The client proxy class generated
    by WebLogic Workshop, however, expects to send a parameter of type PurchaseOrder.
    In the client, I can instantiate a PurchaseOrderDocument, and then obtain a PurchaseOrder
    (e.g. pod.getPurchaseOrder() ), but the returned class is not compatible with
    the PurchaseOrder type that the client proxy expects.
    In a previous attempt (not using Workshop), the client would not compile because
    it expected to send a non-abstract class with a public default constructor (presumably
    a JAX-RPC requirement), and XMLBeans had generated an interface.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    thanks & regards

    I have been experiencing similar problems with the HTML Editor and have managed to find an answer that should start to answer some of my questions. The Apex HTML Editor Standard is actually an HTML editor called FCKeditor. The FCKeditor has a Javascript API that can be found at http://docs.fckeditor.net/FCKeditor_2.x/Developers_Guide/JavaScript_API. Unfortuately this doesn't seem to give the whole answer and I found more at http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/thread.cfm/threadid:49607.
    I needed to get the text entered within my html editor standard (e.g. P1_MYTEXT) and use it within my javascript function. I did this by using the following script
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    function showtext(){
    var oEditor = FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance('P1_MYTEXT');
    var editortext = escape(oEditor.GetXHTML(oEditor.FormatOutput));
    alert(editortext);
    </script>
    Hope this helps.

  • How can I use two database in Dataset in SSRS?

    Hi,
    I am using one query to generate my SSRS report. In that query I am using subquery. Now I am pulling data from multiple tales.
    DB used in sub query is different than the rest of the tables DB.(So total I am using 2 DB(Database))
    So I see that in SSRS, I can connect query(In DataSet Properties) to one DATA_SOURCE only, how can I use other database which is I used in sub-query?
    I have to move this SSRS into PROD and I can't hard code that sub-query's DB name in my query.
    Please give me suggestion. Thanks!!
    Vicky

    In SSRS 2008 R2 you can use the Lookup function (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee210531.aspx ) and LookupSet function (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee240819.aspx
    Depending on your security set up, you can reference a table in a second database on the same server using a three part name:  database.schema.table.  This is more likely to work for you if you wrap your SQL command in a stored procedure.

  • How can I use Flash_Slideshow.SWF in my Flash CS4 document?

    Hi,
    I have downloaded a nice Flash Slide show file (.SWF) and would like to use in my Flash CS4 document without any modification (as it is). How can I use it? There is no .Fla file this Slide Show. It just works using xml file.
    Please do help.

    Hi,
    You need to load a .swf file in your flash document using the loader class. I'm assuming you are using the AS3. Please click on the below link which helps you to use the loader class.
