DDIC Activation Error during import of KB64002

Hi,
I'm running WebAS ABAP+J2EE system on Win2K/Oracle9.x environment with XI3.0. I've already applied KB64001 patch successfully.But when i appled KB64002 patch, the import went for around 18 hrs. when i checked the process overview, i found no process were running. So I terminated the import during the DDIC activation state.
Now when I tried to import again, the system status reads as "tp buffer prepared OK" for a very longtime.
I have the latest kernel patches applied to the system.
Please help in this regard.
THanks
Sridhar

Hello folks,
The reason being program "RDDMASGL" running under User "DDIC" is not terminated.
Ensure to delete the entry from database. I deleted with the help of my ABAP friend via, debugging.
for your simplicity, here are the tables where you will have to delete the entry.
Database View: V_OP
Database Tables:TBTCO & TBTCP.
Delete the incorrect entry (with Job name - RDDMASGL, Status - Not Active) from these two tables.
The issue is resolved and the error "TP Buffer Prepared OK" flies away -
Hope you guys will find this tip helpful.
Let me know, if anyone of you have any issues.
Please award points, if it helps resolve your issue.
Regards,
Kamesh

  • DDIC Activation error during SAP_HR component upgrade in ECC 6.0

    Hi All,
    We were upgrading the SAP_HR component in ECC 6.00 to SP 10 (SAPKE60009 - SAPKE60010).Upgrade is failed in DDIC_ACTIVATION step.
    Below is the error message
    Relationship T5FPBS4G-OFFGC for table T5FPBS4GO does not exist
    Message no. MC683
    Diagnosis
    A secondary table for which the foreign key relationship no longer exists was included for an aggregate (view, matchcode, lock object).
    Procedure
    Find out whether the foreign key for the specified field was changed. It might be necessary to adjust the aggregate to the new foreign key definition.
    In table T5FPBS4GO, Field OFFGC is there but Foreign Keys filed is unchecked
    And in table T5FPBS4G there is no field OFFGC.
    Could you please suggest me on this. If any one faced the issue please let me know.

    Preethish,

    Hi,
    Since it is DDIC activation its not possible also to revert. I sincerely suggest you to overcome the problem without deleting the entry in the table. I haved faced the similar kind of issue in my experience and i resolved with the help of abaper. I suggest you to just get a help from abaper and creating the table field and flag the foreign key in the particular table. It will surely resolve your problem.
    Incase if you want to dlete the entry in database table level emans. Use this functional module
    Spam_reset _status in se37 and by forcefully you can delete the entry of the component. adn also please chck in table also pat01 pat02 and pat03..delete manually.
    Hope it will resolve ur problem

  • Errors in DDIC Activation phase during upgrade.

    Hi,
    Title: Errors in DDIC Activation phase during upgrade.
    During preprocessing phase (phase ACT_UPG) we got many DDIC activation errors such as:
    SAPup broke during phase ACT_UPG in module MAIN_SHDRUN / Shadow System Operations: SPDD and Activation.
    DDIC ACTIVATION ERRORS and RETURN CODE in SAPACCI702.CPE
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1EEDO519 "Data Element" "/BI0/OICH_AT" could not be activated
    1EEDO519 "Data Element" "/BI0/OICREA_TIME" could not be activated
    1 ETP111 exit code           : "8"
    We have searched the SDN, many posts say that we have to just activate them. But my question is where - in source system OR in Shadow system?
    We assumed it is Source system (please correct if it is wrong), unlocked the system and logged in as normal user and tried to activate the Data Element. Now, it says "Search Help /BI0/OICH_AT is not active or contains no parameter".   How to go about it?
    If it is Shadow System, how can i unlock the system?
    Many thanks,
    Mohan.
    Dear Mohan,
    There are search helps configured for the dataelements in ACTUPG.ELG. These search helps were created by mistake by the system.
    The search helps can be deleted manually in the shadow instance.
    In this case you should remove these fields in se11 (in your shadow instance) as the Search help shouldn't exist.
    You should do this step for all data elements shown in the log ACTUPG.ELG:
    For example: SE11 -> /BI0/OICH_AT -> Change -> Tab "Further characteristics"
    1. Goto SE11:
    2. Select Data type and fill "/BI0/OICH_AT" and display
    3. Select the tab "Further Characteristics" and
    4. Remove the values for fields "Name" and "Parameters"
       then click on icon "Activate"
    Please do the same for the other object.
    But before performing above steps you need to unlock the shadow instance by the following command:
    SAPup unlockshd <SID>
    (if using SAPup)
    SAPehpi unlockshd <SID>
    (if using SAPehpi)
    Also do not forget to lock the shadow system again after performing the steps and continuing the upgrade by the following command:
    SAPup lockshd <SID>
    (if using SAPup)
    SAPehpi lockshd <SID>
    (if using SAPehpi)
    You can logon to your shadow system with any different user than DDIC.
    Best Regards,
    Abhishek
  • DDIC ACTIVATION ERRORS in ACT_700 phase
    During upgrade from 470x200 to ECC600 SAPup stopped in phase ACT_700 with following error:
    ERROR: 120 errors detected during ACT_700.
           Analyze summary error logfile ACTUPG.ELG
           and remove all error conditions in the way
           it is described in the upgrade manual. Repeat
           this phase until it is error free.
           Additional hints may be given in logfiles
           SLOG700 and /usr/sap/put/log/SAPup.ECO
    I have checked ACTUPG.EGL log and I found following entries:
    DDIC ACTIVATION ERRORS and RETURN CODE in SAPA-60012INFICA.LMU
    1 ETP111 exit code           : "8"
    All these entries are without any description which objects are not activated.
    I have also checked other logs particularly SLOG700, ACT_UPG.SLG and SAPAAAA700 and I found in SAPAAAA700 following statistic:
    1 ED0306       "Statistics on Activated and Deleted Objects"
    So according to this statistic everything should be OK? Is it possible that? Can I ignore this error and continue with upgrade or is it possible to find out somewhere which objects are not activated?
    Thanks for your answers
    Does anyone came know how resolve this error ? Please advice
    Many Thanks
    Jacob
    Hi Jacob,
    In order to resolve this issue you have to unlock the shadow system and activate the table.
    Procedure for unlocking shadow system
    go to you bin directory (i.e) /usr/sap/SID/upg/abap/bin
    ./SAPup unlockshd SID
    After unlocking login to shadow system client 000 and fix the above errros.
    Remember to lock the shadow system before repeating the phase again.
    Locking Shadow system : go to bin directoty and issue the command ./SAPup unlockshd SID
  • Error importing SharePoint site collection - "there is an error during importing the Roles tag"
    Hi, we are having trouble restoring a SharePoint 2010 site collection using our DPM 2012 installation. The recovery process goes fine (restore of the database, attach to the sql server, export into WFE's filesystem) and the last phase, the SharePoint import,
    seems to end with an exception. We see this in the WssCmdletsWrapperCurr.errlog file:
    Caught Exception while trying to import Url .....
    Exception message =
    There is an error during importing the Roles tag
    Exception Stack =
    at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.ReadAttribute.String(....
    It looks like it is a SharePoint import issue, but I'm not sure. We have tried to restore the site into an empty one, and the exception appears again, although it *seems*  that the content has been recovered. We have imported using the security info
    on the recovery point.
    I've searched for that error message in the Net but I've been unable to find anything appropriate.
    Do you have any hints?
    Thanks.
  • Error During Import: File Could Not Be Imported
    I am trying to load some .AVI movies from my digital camera into iMovie; most of them will, but 1 or 2 for some reason will not. I have played some of these videos on my old G3, which I replaced with this new computer; most loaded in OK.
    The clips that won't load look smaller than the others when playing (don't know why). I played the movies and converted them to Quicktime again in MPEG Streamclip and they played fine (also in VLC PLayer, FWIW).
    I am getting this error message: Error during Import: File Could Not Be Imported.
    Also, I am trying to change the orientation of one clip that I inadvertently shot sideways; I did this in Bitlist but it won't load now into iMovie. Is there away to change the orientation in Quicktime (I'm not buying QT pro) or another free converter that will work?
    Thanks in advance...
    * open the avi/mpegs in Streamclip
    * choose 'DV stream' as export option
    * in the 'DV stream' dialog, you're offered the option 'turn'.. rotate in the wanted direction and choose '75%' size to get all into the video...
  • Variable not set (error 91)/Error during import (error 102)/execut bat file
    We are on BO 11.5.0.0 and using the COM SDK with Visual Basic to run multiple reports (sometimes multiple flavors of the same report) through a bat file.
    If we run the reports single-threaded through the bat file, the reports run fine.  However, if multiple versions of the bat file start at approximately the same time, we get one of two errors:
    91 Object variable or With block variable not set
    102 Error during import document -
    Here's the part of the code with the problem:
    Dim BOapp As busobj.Application
    Dim receiveDoc As busobj.Document
    Set BOapp = New busobj.Application
    BOapp.Interactive = False
    BOapp.Logon strUser, strPass, strFromSystem, "Enterprise", False, False
    BOapp.Visible = False
    Set receiveDoc = BOapp.Documents.OpenFromEnterprise(strFromRep, strFromFolder, boFolder)
    receiveDoc.SaveAs (strDocumentPath & strFromRep & ".REP")
    Values for the following variables are passed in from the bat file:
    strUser
    strPass
    strFromSystem
    strFromRep
    strFromFolder
    strDocumentPath
    If it fails on the OpenFromEnterprise statement, we get the 102 error.
    If it fails on the SaveAs statement, we get the 91 error.
    Running it through debug hasn't helped, since we are running only one report.
    Any thoughts on what could be going wrong?
    Thanks in advance
    I have tried this running the VB code on my desktop (outside of the bat file) and nothing out of the ordinary occurs.  The VB code runs fine with only one occurrence.
    I had seen on other posts "ThisDocument" and didn't know if it would be applicable in this situation.  I also wasn't sure how it should be used based on the rest of my code.  Would "ThisDocument" make a difference?
    Thanks again
  • SEVERE: DB Error during import of BC_SL_ACTIVE_PARTS
    Hello all,
    We are trying to perform the system refresh using sapinst (load based) on AIX/DB2 UDB environment.
    During the "Import Java Dump" phase, we are getting the below error;
    SEVERE: DB Error during import of BC_SL_ACTIVE_PARTS
    As per the OSS note 915548 we changed the Server & Desktop time zone to GMT+01:00, and started a fresh installation.
    However we are still facing the same issue. Does anybody have a resolution for this, if so please help me, I shall definitely reward you.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Kiran.
    Hello,
    I've got exactly the same problem.
    I was installing a CRM50 Unicode System, using a System Copy procedure.
    (Source System platform: Win2003 x86, MsSQL2005, j2sdk-1_4_2_13-windows-i586-p.exe)
    Into a Target System Platform:
    - Processor Geniune Intel Xeon 3 Ghz x86
    - Windows 2003 x64 bits
    - MS SQL Server 2005
    - j2sdk-1_4_2_13-windows-amd64.exe --> 941595 - Download J2SE 1.4.2 for the x64 platform Java
    - j2sdk-1_4_2_13-windows-i586-p.exe
    (both Java versions installed, according to the Sap note)
    I already did what you said:
    - Change timezone
    - Uninstall CRM50, using sapinst\Aditional Software Life Cycle Task\...
    - Reebot the server
    - Staring a fresh installation again
    Please advise, I've been working for the last four days on this, with no luck.
    Maybe the problem is java version, perhaps j2sdk-1_4_2_09-windows-amd64.exe or another one would be enough, or, I need to reinstall everything since the beginning, including MSSQL2005.
    Can someone help us out please, thanks.
    When importing in FCPX 10.1.3 I get: The following clip encountered an error during import and is still referencing media on the camera:  ??? anyone
    I get this sometimes too, when importing from P2 cards.  Sometimes it takes me a few tries to get it imported.  I have noticed that it seems to work better when I actually mark an IN and Out for the clip, but that's not totally a solution.
    It just started happening yesterday-never had this problem before and have uploaded countless times with this camera and system. THanks.
    Update: OK, I just tried to import the footage into another hard drive (an internal hard drive) and it seems to be going fine now.  Maybe something is corrupted on the external hard drive I was importing into...wierd.
    If you have such real errors as the first ones you posted it's a good advise to just fire up a browser, open http://service.sap.com/notes and search for the object name... in 90 % of the cases you will find a note.
    Often it also help to just repeat the phase and check the log again. some of the problems are sometimes just sequence problems that are gone after the second try.
