Hi All,
We want to implement hide/ unhide option for Product prices i.e. whenever the user wants to unhide the price of a product, the user should click on a link u201CHideu201D and then it should hide the price of all the products. And similarly, when the user clicks on u201CUnhideu201D link, then it should display the prices of all the products.
Can it be done through some config or through some code changes. Can you please let me know how to achieve this.

Hello Nikhil,
I assume that you would want to achieve this at the catalog page level or at a basket level. There is no standard config that can be used at runtime to hide/unhide price elements as per user choice.
What you could do is modify the corresponding JSP files to add your custom logic via combination of some Javascript and div tags.
PS: Refer to the section of the item details div on the order screen which uses similar logic to collapse/unfold item details on click of the arrow buttons.

Pricing: New condition type not getting listed in options in product master

Hi,
I have created a new pricing procedure and also created a new condition type for it. I am trying to create a condition record in the product master for this condition type but the condition is not there in the list of conditions. How can I inlcude it in the condition list?
Even the new condition type I have created by copying 0PR0 is not getting listed in the options, whereas 0PR0 is getting listed.

you need to enhance the condition maintenance group in the customizing, which is assigned to the product master. Please check: IMG: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Products -> Special Settings for Sales Operations -> Assign Condition Group to Application CRM and IMG: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Conditions and Condition Technique -> Condition Technique: Basics -> Create Maintenance Group.

Early Delta Initialization option in Production system

Hi Experts,
I have seen some threads related to Early Delta initialization in this forum. I have a question regarding this option.
To minimize the downtime/block users in the R/3 production system during set up tables fillup I would like to use the Early delta option. Please give your suggestions on the following procedure:
For Sales Orders, billing and Deliveries
1. Initialize Early delta in the BI system.
2. Go and fill setup tables
3. Do a full load to BI
4. Run delta job in R/3 (LBWE)
5. Run delta job in BI Info package
Do we miss any documents in this process for e.g. during set up tables fill up changes to existing documents or newly created sales orders.
I feel we won't miss. All changes will be reflected in Delta queue. And even newly created orders also will be coming to delta queue.
Please let me know if I am wrong.

According to my understanding, during the filling of set up table if a user does any posting, then the data available in BW will be incorrect.
am i right?
In your sequence the 4th step
4. Run delta job in R/3 (LBWE), this means you are using queued or unseriallized v3 update.
Early delta iniliazation essentially of no advantage because, as conventional initialization procedures, you can readmit document
postings after successfully filling the setup tables.
can anybody clear my doubt. is it possible during setup table filling user can post a document.
I know the documents will be collected in the queue. But the data loaded to bw will be incorrect right?

Deactivating ABAP UNIT in Production system

Hi All,
I have gone through the documention of ABAP UNIT for unit testing. In the documents it is mentioned that the Test classes created for Unit Testing are Local Classes and does not make any negative impact on the Production environment Because these classes are Inactive in Production system.
Can anyone please reply to the follwoing:
1) Are the Test classes Inactive by default in production system?
2) If No then what is the procedure for Deactivating Test classes in the production environment?
3) What is the transaction code for checking the status (active/inactive) these classes?
4) Is the menu path Programs->Test-> ABAP_Unit is inactive in production?

1) Unit Test Framework will look for the Type of Client. If your client is Production client, Unit test framework will automatically make them inactive.
The check happens to allow to run Unit test in FM SABP_AU_TEST_PROGRAM_FROM_EU.
3) Unit Test classes will be complied in the production system but you will not be able to exectue them.
When we create Unit test in development, Table TAUNIT_PROG_INFO is being updated (HAS_TESTS = 'X'). But when we transport our objects along with the ABAP Unit in Production client, this table is not being updated.
4) You can try running the ABAP unit by Program > Test > Unit Test in Production, but will give you message "Unit tests are not possible in production clients".

for each item,there's hyperlink for the product.
For some reason,we don't want the user to enter the material master data.
Then how could I deactive the hyperlink.

If you want deactivate the hyper link of product , Press f2 on that field and take the component name , then goto component workbench T code as BSP_WD_CMPWB and enter the component name
Go to the VIEW next, go to Context Node ,Then select the attribute , then expand the getter and setter methods .
select the Get_p method then check the property of that attribute
iv_property holds the property comment the one which you don't need.

Upgrade options for Production Premium CS5 (Education license)?

I purchased Production Premium CS5 late last year with an education license because I used my credentials as a college professor. Now that CS5.5 is out, what are my options, if any, for an upgrade to Production Premium CS5.5? I'm purely a casual user and don't plan to make a living with the Adobe software.

Educational versions can be upgraded to Commercial versions. Usually, it is cheaper to purchase a new education license.

Client setting option for Productive solution manager

Dear all expert,
I've set in transaction code SCC4 (client setting) for my productive solution manager:
1. "No changes allowed" for changes & transport for client-specific object
2. "No Changes to repository and cross-client customizing objs" for cross-client object changes
However with above setting, when execute Tcode SOLAR01 & edit the structure/document, I am not allowed to save it, getting the error "Changes to Repository or cross-client Customizing are not permitted".
could anyone please advise what is the correct setting for the solution manager?

User just need to edit/upload new documentation to the project SOLAR01, and this is not allowed because of the system setting
By the way, do you know any method that I can restrict user to edit the 'Structure' tab, but only allow them to upload & edit the documentation under 'project document' tab?
the recommendad way will be we always setup the project & complete in development system & then finally transport to productive solution manager without any further changes anymore?

You can't "disable" the tax calculation as it is handled based on the internal SAP Business One tax engine (code) and from the tax code setup. If you do not want to calculate tax, you can setup a tax code such as "EXEMPT" and set the code to zero. When tax is that calculated for an invoice it will always be zero.

WBS Element in Production Order

Hi Gurus,
Just would like to briefly understand, how I can make use of the WBS Element in the Production Order (Assignment tab) to use as cost settling for a production order? How do i automate the WBS Element in the production Order for a set of given parameters? Is there a config I can use to set a profile?
I have a scenario here as below:
I have various types of production orders:
PO 1 = Production A
PO 2 = Production B
PO 3 = Production C
And for each of the above, I will individually have a WBS Element.
PO1 - WBS Element A
PO2 - WBS Element B
PO3 - WBS Element C
And WBS Element A, B and C is a Level 2 WBS Element which are tied to WBS Element Z (Level 1 WBS Element), which will be settled to a project.
Appreciate your kind feedback on the above on how I can make it work by settling the cost to the WBS Element.

mainatain the settlement profile in order type. in txn oko7 settlement profile vaild receivers select wbse as settlement optional.
in production orderheadersettlement rule maintain category as wbse and run the settlement txn ko88. now the actual production cost debit the wbse.
