Deactivation of pricing - EIC scenario

Hi CRM experts,
I'm working with SAP CRM 2007 in an Employee Interaction Centre (EIC) scenario.
The business partners I use are employee and they're not configured as sold-to party, so they don't have sales area data and pricing data.
Otherwise, for the determination of contracts within the service tickets I've seen that without the Sales Area data the determination is not available (no contract is assigned).
With a BAdI I've forced the Sales Area Data and the Currency in the Service Ticket transaction, so now I can view the assignment of the Contract, but a Warning message appears: it alerts me that no pricing data are available for the BP.
I cannot maintain my BP as sold to party, so my question is: is it possible to deactivate the pricing for the transaction? I've set all the Item Categories as not pricing relevant, but the message still appears.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance,
Andrea Ricci

Hi Andrea,
Did you find a solution for this problem? We have the same scenario.
Thank you,
Sapan

  • Deactivation of Pricing Conditions at header level of Sales Order

    Hello there,
We have used a routine in pricing procedure (BaseType Routine) to deactivate condition MWST in the MWST condition line in pricing procedure, transaction V/08.
In the routine, We played with the KINAK (set to K )and KOBLI (set to space) flags of structure KOMT1 and XKOMV and delete the MWST entry in the TOBLI table and succeeded to deactivate the MWST at item level of the sales order. (MWST condition appear in the conditions tab at item level as inactive)
We have created a sales order with only one item that has the MWST condition deactivated at item level.
But in the conditions at header level the MWST condition does not appear. Shouldn't the MWST condition appear at header level but deactivated (with a yellow triangle next to MWST)?
If yes is there a flag that we forgot to set?

    Hi,
what is the table name you had mentioned
    TOBLI is it correct?
    Thanks

  • Pricing errors are not cleared after fixing the master data

    Hi All,
Kindly go through the issue explained below.
Pricing is determined properly in transaction level(Oppt) when the master data is correct. cool.
System shows pricing error (Mandatory condition 0PR0 is missing, Pricing could not be determined) when price(condition record) is not maintained in product. This is also fine.  Now the issue is, Pricing errors are not going away from Opportunity even after the master data(product) fixed with maintaining pricing.
Scenario     :  Opportunity is saved with pricing errors.
Analysis     :  Price or/and Sales area are not maintained in Product that is maintained in Oppt.  That is why this error occurs.  So, we have maintained the Sales area/Price(condition record) in product. Now master data is corrected.
Expected result: After maintaining the price/sales area in product, the errors should go off from the created Opportunities and pricing should be determined properly.
Actual result: When we create a new opportunity with the same product, pricing is determined.  But the errors are not going away from the already created opportunity transactions.
Please let me know if this scenario is not clear to understand.
Please help with your inputs.  Thank you for your time.
    Regards,
    Maddy

    Hi Luis,
Thank you very much for your reply.  Could you please help me where is the button 'Redermine Pricing' available?  I have checked in Opportunity transaction but failed.

  • Pricing Error- Condition type not found.

    Hi Gurus,
I have a issue with pricing.
    Scenario :
    For a pricing procedure i have 3 condition types ;
    For example :
    ZXED, ZXE1 & ZXE2.
Of these ZXED is Manual, Mandatory & Statistical in nature.
    ZXE1 & ZXE2 are Manual.
When i create a sales order my pricing procedure is getting determined correctly.
The issue comes in when i try to key in the values at the item level condition in the sales order:
If i see the options(F4) available for me to select the condition types i get have see only one condition type i.e ZXE1. but esentially i should get to see all the 3 condition types as an choice of code(condition type).
Can any one help me to find out the possible reason why i get to have only one condition type for selection.
    Your suggestion is highly appreciable.
    Rgd
    VIVEK.

    Hi,
    1. Understand onething that a particular condition type if maintained "mandatory" in the pricing procedure then you will have to create the condition record for it using transaction code <b>"VK11"</b>. If it is manual then you can give the rate directly in the sales order after selecting it. Since you have maintained <b>"manual", "mandatory" & "statistical"</b> for the condition type <b>"ZXED"</b> at the same time that is why the system is giving you the error <b>"Pricing error" Mandatory condition ZXED is missing."</b>
    2. Also you want the system to show you all threee condition types <b>"ZXED', "ZXE1", "ZXE2"</b> to choose manually as per your requirement. Do one thing go to transaction code <b>"V/06"</b> - select the required condition type say <b>"ZXED"</b> - double click on it - in the <b>"changes which can be made"</b> section you will see a field for <b>"Manual entries"</b> - in this select <b>"no limitations"</b> and save the <b>condition type</b>. Similarly do it for the other 2 condition types and save it.
<b>I tell you</b> you must have maintained there <b>"D-not possible to process manually"</b>. If this is maintained then the system will never show you the condition type to choose from the condition type list in the sales order.
Note: You have maintained for <b>"ZXED"</b> manual/mandatory/statistical. Now as it is mandatory also you have to maintain the condition record for it in <b>"VK11"</b>. Now if you change the rate of this condition type in the sales order then when you will create the invoice in <b>"VF01"</b> the system will show that value only which has been maintained using <b>"VK11"</b> because in billing also the system fetches the condition record from <b>VK11</b> for the mandatory conditions.
Hope this clarifies and solves your doubt.
    Reward points if solution helps.

  • VARIENT PRICING NOT REFLECTING IN MY SALES ORDER

    Hello Gurus
I'm maintaining a varient condition type VA00 for  varients  in  my pricing procedure and PROO for the main item  in my pricing procedure, but in my sales order PR00 is reflecting  where  as VA00 is not reflecting. i'm maintaining the standard pricing procedure.
    scenario:
Main item is Villa: PR00 is condition type
            Varients: VA00 is condition type:
The following are the varients: Marble , Granite ,Tiles ,Wooden,
Maintined condition records  for  both main item as wellas varient item , but main item PR00 is showing in my sales order where as VA00 is not showing in my sales order conditions kindly help  me where i'm missing
          Thank you in advance
    venkat

    Dear Venkata,
Can you check and update few informations for our understanding:
    1. Maintain Variants - VK30
    2. Have you created Conditions Records for VA00 - VK11 (Case-sensitivie)
    3. Go to, T. Code: V/06 and select Condition Type: VA00 and see the proper access sequence as VA00 and
    Tab: Control Data 1
Field: Condition category as "O - Variant" is maintained or not.
If all up to this point, go to:
    T. Code: CU50
There, from Pop-up Window, select for a characteristic. Select a value which has the VA00 condition defined for it. You will see a button with a Pricing symbol on it. Click on this and enter the characteristic value which is defined for the price. This creates the true "link" between the characteristic value and the Price record.
    Best Regards,
    Amit.
Note: I assume, things have been configured, properly in respective T. Codes: CT04, CL01, CU41

  • Problem in creating Backend PO

    Hi All
We are implementing strategic sourcing process with classic scenario (SRM 4.0 & ECC 6.0 as backend)
We are facing a problem while triggering a backend PO from SRM bid invitation cockpit. (We guess it is trying to create local PO only though all the settings are for classic scenario)
We are getting the error message as "purchase orders can not be created without IPC pricing"
This scenario was working fine before and we have created a few POs before, for some bids. All of sudden we started facing this problem. Whenever we trigger a PO from SRM, system flashes error message. (However contract scenario is working fine with appropriate BAdis)
As this is classic scenario and we are not using IPC, the BAdi for simplified pricing is in place and BAdi for updation of IPC buffer is deactivated.
(configurartion is checked & found okay)
Request your help in this matter.
    Warm Regards

    Hi
Can u explain clearly? In which pricing procedure/ scenario r u facing this problems?
If its a deemed export or like this, the excise duty and ecs condition type statistics might be activated.
If statistics activated means there wont be any accounting.

Only thing I am not sure of the configuration is the table entries in TWPURLSVR.
    Would appreciate a quick response.
    Regards, Sameer

    Sameer-
I want to clarify a point made by Vadim regarding the use of IPC.  IPC is NOT mandatory for SRM if you are only using the EBP component in classic mode - in the short term this can make things easier to deal with.  If are not in classic mode then you must address your IPC issue.
See OSS note 539720 for all requirements to utilize simplified pricing w/out the IPC.
The solution per the OSS note is listed below:
'Simplified pricing (classic scenario)' is available as of SRM Release 2.0 Support Package 03.  If you want to use simplified pricing, you must also carry out the following steps:
    a) ACTIVATE implementation of BBP_PRODUCT_PRICE in the BBP_PRICEDATA_READ BADI
    b) DEACTIVATE implementation of IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER in the PRODUCT_UPDATE2 BADI (EBP 3.5 and SRM 3.0)
    c) DEACTIVATE implementation of CRMB_BBP_PRICINGINIT in the PRC_PRICING_INIT BADI (EBP 3.5 only). Use Transaction SE18.
The first BAdI controls whether simplified pricing should be used and reads the price data from the product master, if required.  The second BAdI updates the price data in the IPC if changes were made in the product master (EBP 3.5 and SRM 3.0 only).   The third BAdI controls whether obsolete ABAP pricing (BAdI activated), IPC or simplified pricing (EBP 3.5 only) should be used.
You always have the option to change from simplified pricing to normal pricing using IPC. You can change from IPC pricing to simplified pricing in accordance with the above restrictions. However, avoid repeatedly changing the pricing method.
    Cheers-

  • Creation of change pointer for condition split

    Hi,
We have  SAP  system which is integrated with PMM(mainly used for pricing).
    Scenario is as explained below.
There is one condition record whose validity is from 25/12/2011 to End of TIme (EOT) for one price record.
Assume today (08/02/2012) business created new condition whose validity is 08/02/2012 to EOT for another price.
Now what happened is in condition table split happened one from 25/12/2011 to 07/02/2012 and one more from 08/02/2012 to EOT.
But we observed that while sending the information to PMM system through idoc system is not sending the condiion record 25/12/2011 to 07/02/2012.
*Now question is whether this is SAP standard functionality (not to send Past validity records) or it is custom change specific to company
.*Assume user creates conditon record whose validity is from tomorrow (09/02/2012) to EOT then split happens like 25/12/2011 to 08/02/2012 (which is today) and 09/02/2012 to EOT.
In this case idoc sends both the condition record as 08/02/2012 is today and not in the past.
    Thanks and Regards
    Raghavendra Pai

FYI... While pricing condition determination in sales order will refer the pricing value from condition record (with proper validity) based on pricing date.
Say, you condition record for base price as PR00.
    Rate
    UoM
    Valid from
    Valid to
    100
    per EA
    01.01.2011
    31.01.2011
    120
    per EA
    01.01.2012
    31.01.2012
Now you are creating a sales order on 09 Feb 2012. But the pricing date is 21.12.2011.
Then system will copy pricing as 100 instead of 120.
This example practical happens when you create sales order with reference to contract or quotation.
Now, in SAP PMM, I hope you are maintaining condition records through Idoc or may be real sync, then you should have provision for accommodate, these change in pricing and validity.
Now question is whether this is SAP standard functionality (not to send Past validity records) or it is custom change specific to company
Now it totally depends on your/client organization/business process requirement.
I hope this can assist you in understanding. If you have any further concern or doubt, do revert back

  • Overwriting Conditions data during Material Replication from R/3 to SRM.

    Hi,
When creating a new info record and then running the material replication program everything looks OK. However, if for the same material you create a new info record or change the existing info record and then run the material replication, some of the previous data is removed.
We implemented BADI(PRODUCT_CUSTOMER2) to read info records from R/3. When i debug BADI all the info record and condition info is populated. Once the control leaves the BADI standard SAP code is not inserting/updating delta condition records. It is only populating latest info record.

  • Automatic local PO creation has errors - SRM 5.0

    Hi there,
We are busy upgrading to SRM 5.0 and are having some issues....
I can create a shopping cart from the catalog and it creates a local PO but the PO is always in HELD status. When I look at the PO in BBP_PD I get the following errors:
E BBP_TAX             006 Data inconsistency during tax calculation
E BBP_TAX             006 Data inconsistency during tax calculation
E BBP_PD              358 Select a location to which a plant has been assigned
E BBP_PD              865 Delete price or set 'Invoice Expected'
E BBP_PD              358 Select a location to which a plant has been assigned
E BBP_PD              865 Delete price or set 'Invoice Expected'
I have debugged function module BBP_PD_PO_CHECK and can see that the "invoice expected flag" is NOT set in the PO - this causes the "Delete price or set 'Invoice Expected'" error.
The "Select a location to which a plant has been assigned" error is because there is no location on the document...in subroutine "GET_PLANT_FROM_LOCATION" in program "SAPLBBP_PDIGP"......not sure why that would be blank though....
The "Data inconsistency during tax calculation" is because in my debugging it was wanting a SUBTYPE of "ST" but it gets "EP". What concerns me about this one is that it actually should be "EP"...
I have been trying to debug the SC to PO mapping to see what could have gone wrong....I think it would be in BBP_PD_SC_MAP_TO_PO_LOC?
NOTE: I have had to TURN OFF the Pricing BADI (BBP_PRICEDATA_READ) implementation (BBP_PRODUCT_PRICE) to get this far. If it is active I get the following error in SM58.
"Purchase orders cannot be created without IPC pricing"
Has anyone had these issues before?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
    Lynton

    1. Did you activate extended classic in SPRO (or rather - is it still activated )
    2. Did you retrieve the locations from the backend (as mentioned before by several others) check
    3. The badi you mention should be deactivated, as pricing is done using the built-in IPC (SRM 4.0 had a not built-in one - maybe still pointing at the SRM 4.0 one?)
    4. Check if the IPC is running correctly (go to SE38 and play around with IPCTEST* or TESTIPC* - too long ago to remember the correct report or was it something with pricing. The one thing I know is that TEST was definately in it!)
    5. Vendor master data is correct?
    6. Did you define that tax calculation is done in the backend (SPRO)? check

  • Urgent Querry regarding SRM to R/3 PO Creation

    Hi All,
I have one requirement where in PO is created in SRM (using Extended Classic Scenario) and the same PO is reflected in R/3 thru RFC.
My requirement is related to pricing i have maintained a condition record for a condition type for eg : ZBRK is the condition type. In R/3 for condition type ZBRK i have maintained condition record. I need to populate the condition record when PO from SRM gets created in R/3.
    Is it possible?

    Hi
Which SRM version are you using ?
See these SAP OSS Notes, which might help ->
Note 907271 - Upload: New condition when you update the item
Note 859049 - SRM 5.0: Restrictions for uploading and downloading
You can try to use BBPECS_PO_OUT_BADI to transfer this condition type to ECC.However, please check that the condition type from SRM do not apply again in ECC else your original price will be recalculated twice both in SRM and ECC..._
Using VMC cache when you modify the PO price schema.
Thus, you have to reset the buffer of the VMC to "activate" your modifications.
