Dead ipod, needs fixing urgently, please help me
hey, i have an ipod with the click wheel and for some ******** reason it has just stopped working. it won't charge, either via the mains or through the computer and no display comes up at all, no matter how many times i mess with the buttons or try to restart it. it cannot restore either, i am completely stuck and don't know what to do to fix it. i'm using the second to last edition of itunes, so fairly recent and the second to last updater too, but that's failing.
i tunes or the alptop don't recognise it either when i use the usb port connecter thing.
oh and i can't find any useful pages on the apple support pages.
i need my ipod to work, please somebody tell me how to fix it :[

I looked in console and its saying that it may be because of Sophos Anti-Virus, i deleted and uninstalled all traces of Sophos but looked in console and this is some of the lines coming up:

This sounds like it is about Window positions.
iChat has Default places for Incoming Invites.
Video is always top Center of your Screen
Audio and Text chats are Upper right with the Audio slightly lower than Text Chats.
Secondary invites are sort of Stacked like when you open multiple files from the same App.
Your outgoing Windows are "Remembered" as to where the last one was when you used it.
This can be an issue if you use your Mac with a second display and turn Off Mirroring.
You windows can get "left" on the other screen.
Go to System Preferences > Displays and turn On Mirroring and the windows should come back to one Screen/display.
If this does not help go to your Home Folder/Library/Preferences and delete (Drag to Trash) com.apple.ichat.plist and restart iChat.
Unfortunately you will need to reset any iChat Preferences you have changed from defaults.

Error ejecting iPod mini from iTunes - URGENT please help!
when i try to press the eject button on iTunes , a thing pops up saying " The iPod cannot be ejected because it contains files that are in use by another application"
and i don't want to take a risk and lose info on my iPod b/c it says "do not disconnect"
i don't know what could have caused this, except that about 45 min. before, i downloaded the new iPod mini updater. Please help!!! it's very urgent! thanks =D

I assume you know where your catalogue file (the lrcat file) is located. In the same folder is a previews lrdata folder which you should delete or rename in Explorer, then start LR again.
If I've made incorrect assumptions above, sorry, and we'll go back over it from the start.
