Deauthorizing previous computers.
I had to reload digital editions and now it will not let me authorize the same product on the same computer without creating a new ID. How do I deauthorize this computer to reactivate it on this computer? I do not have the option to deauthorize all/previous editions.

No previously purchaesd TV shows are shown in the library. This is new computer, old one bit the dust. De-authorized all old computers. Authorized new one. Music shows up but not TV Shows I already bought. Any help?
I should have mentined that none of my previous TV Show purchases show up in the purchased sub heading. The Music is there but no TV Shows. I am most interested in recovering Doctor Who Season 7.1, 7.2 and Christmas Specials. The rest I am not as concerned about.

My old computer crashed andI bought a new one. When I went to Itunes I deauthorized all computers and then authorized my new one but I can not get my prevous purchases and I can not add my new purchases to my IPods with out it deleting all the music. How can I transfer everything that was on the old computer to this new one?
Whether you can redownload previous purchases depends upon the type of item (audiobooks and ringtones are one-time only downloads), what country that you are in (music, films, TV shows can't be redownloaded in all countries), and whether the item is still in your country's store (content providers occasionally remove their items) - what you can redownload will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage
Or you should be able to copy purchases back from your iPod via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option (if the drop-down menus aren't showing then control-B should get them to show).
If you have music from other sources on your iPod (e.g. copied from CDs) then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Or do you have a copy of them anywhere else e.g. on your backup of your downloads/library that you can copy them onto your new computer from ? -
My computer was stolen so I deauthorized all computers that had iTunes on them on 10/28/2011. I have a new computer and it was authorized for iTunes. When I checked my account it says I have 2 authorized computers, but this new computer should be the only one. How can I deauthorize whatever the other computer is? I don't want whoever stole my old computer to be able to use my iTunes account.
Get all that music back in itunes and sync again.

My Macbook pro won't sync with my iPad. It says it isn't authorised. I have gone as far as deauthorizing all computers then authorizing the Macbook & still no luck. Any ideas?
Sorry, not sure how to screenshot on my computer, but this is what is says word for word:-
The Ipad could not b synced because the computer is not longer authorised for purchased items that are on this ipad.
To authorise this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store, choose Store>Authorise this computer.
I have done all of that but not luck. That's when I tried deauthorising all computer which it did ok. I then authorised my Macbook pro again, it said I had one computer now authorised. I tried to delete apps via Itunes then sync to my iPad, but the above message keeps popping up & it wont do what I want. -
I have used Illustrator CS3 on my two try or three previous computers. Now I try to install Illustrator CS3 on a my new (4 weeks old) computer. Adobe does not allow me, but demands me to proof myself being an owner of Illustrator CS2 or older. I don't manage to speak English on phone, bad hearing, to fast spoken, odd expressions. What can I do? Is there a possibility to write a complain?
You can use online chat to talk with Adobe. For the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...

Status of Itunes library after deauthorizing all computers
When I deauthorize all my computers, does my itunes library remain intact, even music received from cd's and 3rd party. Will I be able to authorize my computer to play the same library as before.
Please adviseYes. Deauthorizing all computers simply clears the link between all computers and a particular iTunes sign-on ID. Once you re-authorize any computer you want associated with that iTunes ID again, then that ID will be able to download and play songs purchased by that ID in the iTunes library on the computer that has been authorized to it.
The only thing you need to remember is that a "Deauthorize All" function can only be done for a particular Apple/iTunes ID once a year.
Cheers,

I have gone to all the comnputers I do not want authorized for iTunes and deauthorized them. When I log on to a new computer to authorize, it states I can only authorized 5 computers. I do not want to deauthorized all computers associated with this ID so is there another option to see what actual computers are authorized?
Thanks!Open itunes
Click the word Store at the top of your computer screen
Click Authorize -

How to withdraw authorization where there is access to the previous computers?
This is my dialogue.
"How to withdraw authorization where there is access to the previous computers? He wants to be able to authorize my current computer but I can not because I already authorized 5 Can you recall the previous authorization I could authorize the current computer?"
"If you have physical or network access to them, use the Deauthorize Computer function. If not, use the Deauthorize All command documented in this article, or if needed, the link to contact the iTunes Store staff at the bottom of it."
Hi
I already tried it. It shows the information that Deauthorize will be possible in December. That is why I need help."
"Use the link to contact the iTunes Store staff. You need to get help from them."

The link to contact Apple support is at the bottom of this page; 'Contact Us'.

Only one song won't play after authorizing my computer. I authorized it over and over. I even deauthorized all computers, and still same results. How can I fix this ? I'm using a MacBook Pro with iTunes 11
Hi Deb,
Deauthorizing all is definitely the way to go. You will just need to authorize your computer again after, as well as your husband's.
Here's some additional information on deauthorizing all:

I hope this helps!

I had to change computers and cannot access my old drive. iTunes shows me the list of songs but I cannot get most to play. Instead I get a message saying "cannot locate"
I have tried following the support tutorials but it still does not allow me to download my previous purchases.
I tried de-authorizing all computers and then re-authorizing this on but it still doesn't allow me to access most of my songs. It sounds like you might have broken links to your content. Either repair these by putting the files you've recovered where iTunes expects to find them or delete the broken entries then go to iTunes Store > Purchased > Music > Not on This Computer, and click the download links.
If you have an Apple device see also Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
