I did not restore my new phone from back up because I did not realize I needed to restore and not just activitate it. How can I save the new photos, apps, and other stuff but retrieve the old photos?

If all you want is your old photos, you could backup your new phone using iTunes, then restore it from your iCloud backup, import the old photos to your computer, then restore it from the backup your made in iTunes returning your newer data to your phone. If you want your old photos on your phone, sync them there from your computer using iTunes. The process would look like this:
Connect your phone to your computer, when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on it and select Transfer Purchases; right-click again and select Backup.
Disconnect from your computer and go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings to return it to new
Go through the activation setup, choosing to Restore from iCloud backup. Make sure your phone is plugged into a charger and has access to wi-fi as this can take hours to complete.
When complete, without connecting your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"
Now import the old photos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083)
When done, open iTunes, right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose the backup you made in step 1.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
There is no option to enter the password on the computer.
If the screen will not rotate, ensure that Portrait Lock is not enabled.

How do I delete the new Photos and go back to iPhoto?

You're version of iPhoto is out-of-date
Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.

iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

Problems with the new iPad and Joikuspot premium after iOS 6

Hi,
I'm experiencing serious problems with my new iPad after last iOS update. Usually I was connecting to the internet through Joikuspot premium on Nokia mobile phone (E6). I was able to do everything, https sites surfing, absolutely everything with no exceptions.
Now, after iOS 6 update, I can't connect to https sites, google+, sync calendar etc.
I've tried to change connection criteria on joikuspot but nothing. The fact is also that other devices as laptop or other smartphones are still working perfectly, in any case, sharing the wi-fi connection created by joikuspot.
Finally the problem is 100% due to the iPad and the new iOS.
disappointing, amateur for such a device... (iPad I mean).
Any help?

How do I get the book title and author to appear on all pages?

I'm trying to create a new layout, and I can't quite figure out some of the auto-text boxes.
I'd like the book title, and author to appear at the top of the pages.
Also, I'd like the chapter title to be at the top of the page for the subsequent chapter pages, but not in the same size as the chapter title at the beginning of the chapter.
I've tried copying the chapter text box in layouts, then applying it to the chapter pages. However, when I reformat the copied box for text size and orientation, the reformat effects all instances of that text box. Grr.
(I know this all sounds like too much text and garbage on each page, but it's for an instructional piece that people will likely print a page or two at a time)

Have you looked at the Layout Section.
If it is not visible pull down the handle and the master pages are there down the list for you to add and change.
Just first duplicate any page that you may want to change and then add the name and author titles to that page and press "APPLY"

I justed updated to the new OS and not one APP works. HELP!!

Here is the fix -
I reset the ipad and then resynched it. Apparently, when it restored the backup, the icons weren't "active" somehow, and the actual programs weren't there, just the icons, though they showed as being there if I looked up the usage amount the apps took used.
When I plugged it in to synch, it started installing all the apps again, and now it works.
On a side note, there was something odd with configuration after the original restore once the software updated. It said I had used up all the space with OTHER material, but there wasn't any OTHER MATERIAL. I did some clean up/maintence on the ipad and suddenly the OTHER material quantity disappeared. (I removed a TV show).

I deauthorized my computer and then authorized it again on iTunes because itunes kept telling me to authorize my computer, even though it was already authorized. Now, after deauthorizing it and authorizing it again, it still constantly says i need to.

I don't think it's happening because I'm using the incorrect account name but my friend did authorize my computer with her dad's apple ID and everytime itunes asks me to authorize it, in the apple ID box his apple ID is already there in advance so I have to delete his and put mine in. How can I disable the new facebook and twitter shortcuts?

With the most recent update at least two new keyboard shortcuts were added, CMD+CTRL+f and CMD+CTRL+t attempt to post to facebook or twitter respectively. While I'm happy to see the functionality, there doesn't seem to be a way to change these or turn them off through they keyboard shortcuts preference pane or through the setup for the two services. Is there any way to do so? I ask because I have had those key combinations bound to other actions for a very long time, and having this happen in addition their original functions is rather jarring.

Cmd-Ctrl-F is set to go Full Screen in Safari and Mail, and probably all others, so I doubt an update changed it to Facebook.
Cmd-Ctrl-T is not enabled for anything on my Mac.
Perhaps you installed something that causes that functionality.

I downloaded the new Firefox, and now I'm getting all sort of "infected computer" messages and somebody trying to sell me MS Removal Software. I refuse to purchase something that is forced on me and is, in fact, spyware itself.

The question explains itself. I had AVG anti-virus, and now that I've updated Firefox I can't even use that!! I'm pretty pissed and frustrated.

In any case boot from your OS installer disk and run Repair Disk from Disk Uility.
