  • Change condition value in debit memo and credit memo

    Hi Experts,
When I am trying to create Credit Memo/Debit memo I could able to change the condition value for which condition type the value is there in Sales Order, but where as for other condition types it is not changeable.
For example for Freight the Condition type is ZFRE,  value is 100 rs in sales order 90000001.
If I create credit memo with reference to sales order I can able to change freight value from rs100 to rs 75.
But what to do If I do not maintain freight value initially in sales order and if I want to adjust freight value ZFRE as rs 60 in credit memo. Presently I could not able to enter values in C/D Memo.
Hope my question is clear to you all.
    Thanks & Regards
    Naresh

    Hi Naresh
If I understand correctly,  then you want to include the freight amount automatically in the Credit memo which was not featuring in the Credit memo request.
If it is so, then first see which is Pricing procedure working  for your Credit memo Request.
In the Pricing Procedure, check the freight condition type (e,g. KF00).
See the what is Acees sequence assigned to it and in the Access sequence what are table assigned.
In  condition type KF00,  Access sequence assigned is KF00 and two condition tables "Incoterm" and "Incoterm Part1 + Part2" are assigned to it.
In the Access sequnce of your Freight condition type , add another/new condition table "350" (Sales organisation). This table is already available in standard system.
Select the new condition table row, and click on the "Field" in the dialog box till the technical names are opened up / shown inspite of warning.
Once the technical names of the fields are shown , you can see the green light there, then save it.
Now, create a condition record (VK11) for your Freight condition (e,g. KF00) by choosing the "Sales organisation" level  from the key combination.
Then go to the Copy control (VTFA), find the combination "G2 from CR "> go to Item level > select item category G2N and go to details.
Here, you change the "Pricing type" value to " H " and save it.
Now, when you will create a Credit memo with reference to the Credit memo request, the  new Freight condition (KF00) will come into effect in the Credit memo, even if ,it was not there in the reference document.

  • Creating a debit memo request with reference to an invoice

    Hi,
An invoice shows wrong MWST value because of incorrect customer tax classification as Tax exempt. I corrected the cust tax classification to "Liable for Tax". Then I tried to create a debit memo request with reference to the incorrect invoice. Thats a requirement by the customer. Invoices with incorrect VAT are not to be cancelled. A specially created VAT only sales order (Debit memo request) is used to create a sales order with 0 net value and correct MWST . But while trying to create the debit memo request, the system picks up the same old condition record for the MWST. How to overcome this situation ?
The copy control for the item category from billing doc to debit memo request is set to "B" that is  new pricing. I even tried to update pricing. But it does not work. Changing the Service rendered date or the pricing date to current date also does not help.
    Please help.
    Regards.

This is working fine. What I did was
1: create a new pricing procedure
2: made the PR00 condition statistical
3: using a routine calculate the MWST based on the PR00. But PR00 itself does not contribute to the net value. This part is working fine. I could create debit memos successfully.
The problem is if we change either the customer or the material tax classification after creating the invoice, and then create a debit request with reference to the incorrect invoice, the system still considers the old tax classfication and therefore the old MWST rate. If I create a debit request without reference, the new rate is applicable.
I hope I have made clear.
    Regards.

  • Rebate Credit memo -ve value, how to convert it to Debit Memo ?

    Hello All..
I have problem related to Rebate
    Situation is as follows:
A rebate agreement is created for a year with 2% of accruals at first  stage and a partial payment is done. After some time we realised that  accruals should have been at the rate of 1% instead of 2% and we made  changes in the condition records of rebate agreement. At the time of  final settlement system has generated a credit memo request for negative value which is correct because there was partial payment based in 2% of accruals and agreement is now with 1% accrual.
Actually as there is -ve value, system should generate debit note instead of credit note?
    Analysis upto now -
The Agreement type has been assigned with a Credit Memo Request as "Final settlement".. So the system will surely create the Credit memo request. BUT, when there is -ve net price, how can we shift to Debit Memo Request? If the ABAP development is required, where and how can we control this ?
Thanks in advance for your help

  • Criticality in recording Credit memo and debit memo using SAPGUI -ECATT

    Hi all,
The challenging task for you all guys once again.
Whenever I am recording credit memo or debit memo using SAPGUI(ECATT) driver,I am facing the following troubles.I need all your suggestions to over come it.
1.Depending on the invoice number the number of lineitems in the items-overview will differ. My situation is like,I have to select the lineitem which is editable[All are not editable, only few are editable] among the items available and I have to change values and I have to record those values.
2.Since,the number of lineitems is varying depending upon invoice,I am not able to detect which one is editable or not.Everytime the position of the lineitem  will change,as the number of lineitems is changing everytime.
[Please note that SAPGUI is more sensitive to location].
So,I need help how to overcome this situation by SAPGUI
recording (or) Is there anyway of controlling the recording or identifying the item which is editable through ABAP code.
    Please suggest on this.

    Hi!
Are you sure you are making a testcase, not an interface? Then a BAPI or IDOC would be more suitable.
If you are really interested in a flexible recording, then you have to split this into multiple recordings.
Make one recording for memo creation.
Make one for line editing. Use button 'item on top' to place desired line into first screen line.
Between the two executions you can place some abap for identifying changeable lines - ask your consultants for rules.
Second recording can be used (in a loop) for all line changes.
Maybe there are other ways, would be nice to know.

  • Copy control routines in Sales Order and Debit Memo Req.

    Hi,
I have a scenario wherein, I am creating a Debit Memo Request with reference to a Sales Order. DMR(Debit Memo Request ) & SO (Sales Order)will not be created on the same day. I want to have Pricing date in the DMR (both at item and Header level) as current date and dont want it to be copeid from SO.
Can it be possible with the standard available routines in copy control between SO and DMR? IS there a need for creation of separate routine.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
As per the business requirement it is ok to change the Pricing since based on the pricing date the Exchange rate is calculated.
The exchange rate at the DMR level should be calculated on the date of creation of DMR and so the pricing date from the Sales order should not be copeid.
    Any suggestions pls.

  • How can I delete a condition type or the price in the debit memo

    Hi Friends,
    please help me
I have a query regarding raising a debit memo in SAP 4.7 (transaction VA01)
I have to charge a company Euro 2112.70 and I don't want to add any VAT on it. The customer is a one-off third party customer code and the material is Sundry Sales. After I enter the price condition ZP00 for Euro 2112.70 the system adds 17.5% VAT on top of this. How could I delete the VAT element or change it to zero?
    Raj

So you need to charge a customer without VAT tax.
As there are many ways to do that, including the so no recommended procedure of deleting the tax condition, you firsy have to analyse why the company want to do that.
If its specifically to that customer, you can manage that via TAX determination for that customer. (From customer master).
As I'm not good at TAX conditions, I recomend you to check that on SAP help.
One I was required to do something like that. In last instance you can add in your pricing procedure one new condition in a sequence "bellow" of your MWST condition.
I hope i could help you...
    Best regards,
    demas

  • Baseline date of a Debit memo

    Dear all,
When credit/debit memo is created with copy from the original invoice it is a legal requirement that the baseline date (used for the calculation of the payment due date) is equal to the baseline date of the original document. For the credit memo we have this setting in the system, however for the debit memo this is not set like this so far and the document date is used as a baseline date. Please give same idea how to change the setting in order to have baseline date for debit memo equal to baseline date of the original document.
    Thanks a lot
    Desimira

To activate the payment terms on these non-invoice related credit memos, enter a V in the "Invoice Reference" field when
    entering the document.
The above works for credit memo, please check for debit memo.

  • Debit memo Condition record exists (removed manually) MWBO Italy

Currently I am working on an Italian pricing issue.
    Pricing V/08
Cond     Description            Fr. To. P  Req. Calc. BasT.
    LCIT     VAT license Italy      900     S  33   37
    MWST     Output Tax                     S  10         904
    BOLL     Bollo in Fattura       900     S       903   26
    MWBO     Opt.tax Bollo in Fat   924     S  924  903   26
The requirments, calculation type and are all based on SAP notes regarding the LCIT, BOLL. eg. 715399 and 593672
The main requirement here is that 924 is only to activate the MWBO condition in the invoice.
This means that for a normal order (TAN) item the LCIT, MWST and BOLL is shown. If we create a delivery - invoice, the pricing in the invoice shows LCIT, MWST, BOLL and MWBO. This is correct. MWBO is a tax condition.
But if we create a debit memo request the behavior is different and would appreciate some insight.
Debit memo request created, LCIT, MWST and BOLL is shown (as expected). MWBO not shown due to requirement, that's correct.
But when I create a debit memo from this one, the LCIT, MWST, BOLL are shown. If I go into the pricing analysis then I see that the condition record for MWBO has been found but with message: Condition record exists (removed manually). Saving the document does not trigger it afterwards.
I have looked on OSS (example note 859876) to determine the cause of not triggering it.
We are not using the user exits for these conditons in example: user_exit_pricing_prepare_tkomp, user_exit_pricing_prepare_tkomk, mv45afzz or rv60afzz.
The standard copy control of L2N to the invoice is set to D. If I change this for example to G (copy unchanged, redetermine taxes), then it works. But not sure if this causes disturbtion of the regular behavior of the L2N.
In best case I would only do the G pricing type for the MWBO condition so I do not disturb the existing process. Any suggestions? I know there is RV61AFZA for manipulating the pricing type (in case you want to have user defined pricing type eg. Y). But this can not be handled per condition type, or is that possible?

Routine 924 is a altered routine provided by SAP to suppress the condition in the order - not in the invoice.
    http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/715399
    quote:
"In this case, the bollo should only be reported on billing documents, not on the
order. However, pricing condition '24' delivered in the standard system
    only partially covers this requirement."
The issue here is that it is triggered with normal order - delivery - invoice. But not with credit memo, it gives message that condition is removed manually. The L2N item category is set to D (copy pricing elements unchanged). When changing it to G (copy pricing elements unchanged - redetermine taxes), it works. But that has an effect on all standard usage of the L2N and I only want to actually fix it for that condition type.

  • Excise document for Debit Memo

    Hi,
When I am doing excise invoice for debit memo for sales in J1IH in other adjustments system shows the below entry
Debit- Excise duty collected (PL Account)
    Credit-Excise duty payable/E.cess (B/S account)
which happens at the time of J1IN excise posting.
But at the time of posting entry is changed as follows
    Debit PLA
    Credit Excise duty collected
Could anyone of you offer your valuable inputs, how the entry gets changed at the time of posting and what changes needs to be done  as the First entry is correct and posted entry is not correct.
    Regards
    Uma

    Hi,
We can use J1IN only instead of J1IH to generate excise invoice.
Check these two nodes in the configuation. verify Debit and credit rules for different transaction types..
    1. Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction
    2. Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction

  • Debit memo and Credit memo

    Dear Expert,
I always confused on Debit memo and Credit memo...especially the business scenario behind and how it is reflecting in SAP system.
    Let's take this example:
e.g the Price in the main Invoice is lesser than the actual price, and the difference needs to be recovered from the customer.
    My analysis:
"The invoice is lesser than the actual price", Means Product should cost 100 USD, but we billed customer only in 80 USD, there are 20 USD difference.  Customer should pay us the rest 20 USD.  So our Account receiivable should be increased. So we need create Debit memo to customer and ask them to pay the money.  Customer received the Debit memo, they will create credit memo and send it to us said they will pay the money.
Am i understanding correct???  Please kindly share in case you have better simple example. Thank you very much.

Your understanding on the subject is absolutely correct.
Let me share an another example with you for debit memo.
These manufacturer of nuts and bolts. Previously they have 100 nuts in one pack, but then they changed it to 120. But the order which was already made for 10 pkts delivered 1200 nuts instead of 1000. So they require to raises Debit memo.
But, these Debit memo generally avoid, b'coz people take at most care in creating a invoice. And people do like to pay when they are receiving end.
Where as, Credit memo can be result of return or complaint of defect or less quantities delivered.
Well, their behavior is control by SD document categ at billing doc type (Tcode VOFA)
    - P is for Debit Memo (L2)
    - O is for Credit Memo (G2)
These SD document category classify for the different types of documents that you can process in the sales and distribution system (for example: quotations, sales orders, deliveries, and invoices). So, these determines how the system stores and keeps track of document data. It enables the system to provide you with status information about delivery processing, billing, and documents that are used for reference (for example, inquiries and quotations).
    So, if we summaries it,
Credit memo - Created to reduce the amount of an existing vendor payable, or customer receivable.
Debit memo - Used to recover costs from another department or faculty. May also be used to correct an incorrectly posted entry.
    Hope this suffice your requirement.
    Thanks & Regards
    JP

  • Debit memo date mismatch

    Dear all,
I am creating a debit memo from a debit memo request.
The Billing date that is appearing in the debit memo is different from the date that is appearing in the document flow of the memo.
-The billing date in memo is same as the billing date in the memo request.(and it cant be changed in
          the memo)
-The date in the doc. flow is the memo creation date.
Is it possible to make the Billing date in memo same as the memo creation date?
Or is it a SAP standard functionality?
    regards
    Sapshed

    Hi,
The date in document flow is the debit memo reuest creation date.
In case of debit memo request (all order related billing), the pricing date is the billing date. If you want the same date then pricing date should be same as debit memo request creation date.
Now for pricing date you can go to VOV8 for debit memo request document type see the field billing date & change it accordingly.
    Hope it helps.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • Create a Credit and Debit memo with reference

    Dear Gurus,
When creatting credit and debit sales document with reference to a billing document it is not possible to modify value of the sales document, in order to create a partial document.
It only happens when the billing document refered has billing plan.
I need to create partial debit and credit memo from a billing document with billing plan.
    Can anybody take a hand?
    best regards,
    Juan

    Hi,
I presume you are asking , instead of creating credit and debit memos, why cant we change the sales order, Am  I right ?
If I am right, then I like to say here, we have a provision in SAP of creating Invoice correction request.
Which would satisfy your quest I suppose. Invoice correction request of customers complaints, has sales document type is RK, and Document category is K.
"I need to create partial debit and credit memo from a billing document with billing plan" I say why not, you can do it with suggested Invoice correction request which is the combination of  G2 &  L2  in a single document.
However If I have helped you for dispeling your doubt, I am glad.

  • Create debit memo from Contract w/ DP91

    Hi everyone,
In the process I use, I create a sales contract with an item containing a DIP profile. I use the pricing type PR00 with the price I want.
I don't have any price condition for PR00 for the material I use since the price will change every time I create a new contract.
The copy control in SD \ Sales \ Maintain Copy Control for Sales document in the customizing specifies that between the contract and the debit memo, the pricing type is G (Copy pricing elements unchanged and redetermine taxes).
But when I use TCode DP90/DP91, the price types are NOT copied to the debit memo.
Does anyone know what I can do so that the price conditions can be copied from the contract to the debit memo when I use DP90/DP91 ?
    Any help appreciated !
    Olivier

    Hi,
DIP settings you have to choose actual costs and line items 100%  in sources segment (Usage billing and result analysis).
In copy controls, maintain 251-conditions in FPLA field (item).

    Chandra
