Debug not showing & required fields not working

I have MX 7.0.2 Developer's Version installed on W2K and MX
7.0.2 on W2003 soon to be production server. On my Developer's
Version the debug output shows up and the required fields using an
input tag work. The same code on the production server, with the
same admin settings doesn't show debug output and the required
fields don't catch that the field is blank. I have read in the
forum that it is very likely that the /cfide virtual mapping is not
configured correctly, but not specifically how to fix the problem.
I see cfide in the admin setting, mappings on the production server
and have tried turning debug on and off, but still no debug output
and required fields not catching and not showing validation
message. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Amit,
Do you mean to say that you are not able to see these settings in SE16 where as other users are able to? If that is the case , there might be an authorization problem for you.
or try logging off and loginto the system. that should work sometimes. If not try to go to SU53 and check whether your auth has failed to see for this table.

Have you tried a soft-reset to see if it that gets it to boot up ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds after which the Apple logo will hopefully appear and it will boot up.
If that doesn’t fix it then have you got a different cable, and possibly charger, that you could try ?

Power view in SharePoint - Required fields not working!!!

We have SharePoint 2013 and SQL Server 2014 and SSRS in SharePoint integrated mode.
We have a "Microsoft BI Semantic Model for Power View"-data connection in a document library and by clicking it users can create their own Power View reports.
We have in the document library defined a couple of columns as required.
When a user saves their Power View report(File->Save as) to the document library, the required fields are left blank. They are not checked!!!
WHY?
Does Power View use REST when saving to the document library?
This question should be in SQL Server/Power View/SharePoint -forumns, but MSDN forces you to select only one.
How can we enforce the checking of required columns???

Also, I'm not sure if you are aware, but your site looks completely broken in Firefox. Edges are ragged and the text runs off the page in places. This is the result of using a graphics program to create your html. Image ready slices are fine for prototyping, but not suitable for production work because they create code that is fragile and too rigid.

Required Fields Not Working in LiveCycle Designer 7.0

Hi, I'm new to LiveCycle Designer and scripting. I have created a 12 page form with "User Entered - Required" fields on the first 11 pages. My problem is that once information is entered in the required fields on page 1, the form is allowing the user to submit without completing the remaining required fields. I am using the "Email Submit" button at the end of my form. Any help would be appreciated.

May be script is not generating. Can you find the follwoing piece of code in your Submit button click event:

Do one thing :
open your form from Tcode: SFP in change mode. And on top there is an option called Utilities.
Under that select "Insert Webdynpro Script". Activate your form.

ADF Select one Choice not showing Required

I have a simple ADF page that I have dragged an "ADF Select one choice" field onto. It has an LOV tied to it. I have set the field as required and given a required message to show. The issue is that the field does not show as required when i save the recrod.. and it also does not show any message or turn red. I was able to save the record tgo the database with out the field being filled in.... i assumed since I set the field to required in the property inspector it would not let it store an empty field.
When I changed this field to an input combo box list of vlaues then it behaved as expected.
Is this a bug with Jdeveloper ... or just a bug with the developer ( me ) :) .
I am using 11.1.1.3.o version.

DB connect datasource not showing new fields on proposal tab please help

Hi Experts,
We have a Datasource to a SQL view, we recently added new fields to the view, but they are not showing on the proposal tab, we can preview data (no new fields there either), we verified the connection and everything seems to be just fine but the new fields are nowhere to be found, we even created a new datasource for that view and the new fields are just not showing.
Can someone please help me with this?

Not even sure if anyone is looking at this anymore - I have a similar issue and haven't solved it using SAP standard - instead I have been using the workaround as follows.
Add the field(s) and details to table RSDSSEGFD Once done here reactivate the datasource.

APO - /SAPAPO/SD_DOC not showing the fields

Hello..We did set the field "FIXMG' and its value in US_CATALOGUE structure on ECC side and after ATP run (sales order) we are not picking up field value on APO side in table "/SAPAPO/SD_DOC". Please advise. Do we need to add any BADI or userexits on APO side to populate this table.

Hi,
The FIXMG field is usually transfered in the requirement table and not in the field catalogue. If you want to have it in the field catalogue you need to add this in the userexit in R/3 (please check note 379196 and 385039). Afterwards you will find the additional fields in table /SAPAPO/SDFIELD. The table /SAPAPO/SD_DOC contains just the "standard" fields.

Podcasting: Duration not showing & Podcast does not play on ATV

I have a couple of issues:
1. I uploaded our last podcast episode yesterday. Everything seems to work fine but the duration of the podcast is not showing on iTunes. I checked the XML file and everything appears to be just like the past podcast episodes. What am I doing wrong?
2. When I try to play my podcast on my ATV, it just gives me an error message... something like UNABLE TO PLAY PODCAST RIGHT NOW... I don't remember.
Does someone have a clue of what might be taking place here and how to solve it?

The duration is correctly referenced in the feed: it appears when subscribing. Someone else has just made a similar complaint (though all but one of his durations were missing) so I'm wondering whether you've both hit some sort of odd glitch in the Store. It may sort itself out eventually - there isn't really anything you can do as you haven't done anything wrong.
I'm not familiar with the ATV. I can see no obvious reason from the files why there should be a problem and can only suggest you ask in the ATV forum.

Podcast graphic not showing Iweb rss not the same as Technotes

I noticed that the graphic for my podcasts are not showing in itunes. Pinged and changed them to 300*300 jpg.and changed name of file and you can get to the file from the url. Week later still no change but text updates ok. Just have the generic file. Also the categories in Iweb are out of date so need to use a find and replace to fix them al the time.
Anyone else got the same problem?

Make sure your rss feed is all ok by going here http://www.feedvalidator.org/
and putting in your fee which is

Fill in all the(yoursitename) with your sitename like jeffrobinson.
Now yours may be different but you can see the path by going to your .mac in the finder and looking in the Web folder, then the sites folder, then the iWeb folder, and there is your site name on the enclosed folder. Remember that any spaces in a name are %20 in the url. Clear as mud eh?
The other way is to look at your iWeb site in iWeb, find your podcast page on the left and the first main page of your podcast is the rss feed you need to validate so surf to it in safari and copy the url and put it in the validator above. Look at the results and tell me what they are or just send me the url here and Ill have a look for you. OK?

To show Required field one at one time

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0
I am facing some problem regarding required fields.
Here is the problem description.
1. I have 3 required fields(all are inputTextboxes) in my page with required attribute="true" and AutoSubmit="true".
2. On submitting the form, error message for required field will be displayed on all required fields at a time(which is as expected).
What I require is, need to show error message for required field only one at one time(meaning that required error message on one field at one time).
Please suggest me how can I achieve this functionality.

I am having issues with parts of my Facebook news page not showing and games not running.

For the last three days, I have been having issues running Facebook on Firefox. First, the side panels on the news page are not showing, which means I cannot connect to games like Farmville or Bejeweled Blitz. Those side panels were showing the previous two days, but when trying to connect, I had a message about the secure setting and I would get the message "you are no longer logged onto FB, connect to FB to play".

Conditional creation of accounts in a resource - required field not working

We want to conditionally create account objects in a resource, based upon whether or not the users account has a non-empty value for a particular atttribute.
To me this seems to be what the 'required' attribute on a field is for, in theory I should be able to tag a field as required, and then if an account dosn't have a value for the attribute, it won't be created on the resource.
The Help, from IDM6.0, says the following:
Required -- If this attribute is required to create an account on the resource,
select the option. This selection applies only when creating accounts.
When I try to do this though, it fails, it goes ahead and creates the account within the resource anyway.
So what did I do wrong, or am I misunderstanding the meaning of this.
To test this, I created 2 XML Resources, Res1, and Res2.
I specified that Res1 had accountId, and email as attributes.
I specified that Res2 had accountId, and email as attributes, but ticked email as required.
I made accountId the idntity template in both cases.
I then created 2 test accounts test1, and test2, but only gave an email address to test1, but assigned both resources to both accounts.
Both resource xml files had both users listed.
For those who care more, the reason we want to do this is that we are running an LDAP with a sendmail tree, and want to populate this via IDM, all our users have email accounts, but not all have email aliases. Therefore, we only need some of the users to have entries that look like this.

For those who care, I've got a resolution to the specific problem I mentioned in the above post, even if no answer to the general question of conditionally adding accounts on resources.
In this specific case, I had been given a poor description of the requirements of the sendmail schema. It turned out on closer investigation that a single ldap record could hold all the information needed. It seems the sendmai schema had been implemented inefficiently locally, before we looked to run it through IDM.

OM IT 1005 not showing input fields in PPOME & PPOCE

The business requirement is:
add IT 1005 Planned Compensation as a tab page in T.code PPOME/PPOCE
I configured the following in system:
- IMG>Personnel Mgt>Org Mgt>Hierarchy Framework>Integrate New Infotype> >Add Infotype as Tab Page in Detail Area>Define your onw tab page>Tab Page Definition (this is option one)>
I added Tab page as z1005, ticked infotype specific and infotype 1005
Scenario Definition (Hierarchy Framework) > select OME0 >
Tab Page in Scenario for each Object Type >
I entered object type S (as we need it for Position), tab page: z1005, and respecitve sequence, I did not enter any report name, screen no, FM for Icons and Donot display is unchecked.
Once I did this configuration and run PPOME tcode I got the tab page there but in the input fields it is blank and showing text like ##################### just a row like this.
However when I do the same configuration for IT 1050 Job evaluation, it is working fine there. But 1005 is throwing the above error.
Can anybody faced the same problem and resolve the above issue or incase some SAP Notes are available for the same.
