Bonjour,
j'ai quelques questions qui pourraient vous paraitre très simples mais...
1) Peut-on avoir des varaiables d'E/S avec Labview ? Si j'ai bien
compris, les commandes sont des sorties et les indicateurs des entrées ?
En fait, dans mon Vi, j'ai des commandes que je veux récupérer comme
entrées d'un autre VI...
2) De même, comment récupérer en sortie d'un Vi un tableau de voies à
réinjecter dans un autre VI ?
3) La dernière... un bon bouquin ou encore mieux un tutoriel ou cours
sur internet à me conseiller ?

Je comprend bien ton d�sarroie(orthographe?), j'�tais dans la mm situation que toi il y a 2 mois.
Je peux te donner la d�marche que j'ai eu pour apprendre :
tout d'abord les connaissance que j'avais : prog en C, C++, Java, Basic... Donc j'avais plusieurs automatisme de programmeur textuel, et le pb c qu'il faut les oublier pour LabView!!. J'ai commencer par faire les tutoriaux fournies avec l'aide de labview. Puis g essay� de comprendre des exemples etc...
je n'ai pas trouv� de cours, g surtout bcp lu l'aide en ligne.
Ensuite le probleme avec labview c qu'il y a plein de petites astuces, par exemple pour ton probleme d'entr�e-sortie entre vi :
dans l'exemple que j'ai joint j'ai cr�er une commande num�rique et une commande chaine de caractere ensuite g cr�� des variables locales pour chacuns de ces commandes. (clik droit sur les control dans le diagramme >> cr�er >> variable locale). Ces variable locale sont par d�faut en lecture mais tu peux les chang�es pour qu'elles soient en �criture. pour cr�er un sous-vi qui a en entr�e les valeurs contenue dans tes commandes, d'abord tu s�lectionnes dans le diagramme avec l'op�rateur fleche les variables locales, puis tu va dans le menu "�dition" l� tu as un champs "cr�er un sous vi" (c en bas du menu). ton sous vi est alors cr��.
Si tu veux cr�er un vi et d�finir ces entr�e sortie tu peux aussi le faire de cette maniere :
tu cr�e ton vi tu y ajoutes tes commandes, tes indicateurs, ton code... ensuite sur ta face avant tu cliques droit sur l'icone de ton vi en haut a droite de ta fenetre labview, tu as un menbu qui s'affiche non? il y a un champ "visualiser le connecteur" tu clik dessus. L� tu recliques droit dessus tu as un champs choisir un modele( c pour d�finir le nombre d'entr�e sortie de ton vi), ensuite avec l'op�rateur de cablage tu clique sur un terminal de ton connecteur et sur la commande ou l'indicateur de ton choix. (le vi que je t'ai mis en exemple a ces deux commande en entr�e)
Voila g fini, c pas tres clair mais j'espere que �a t'aidera,
Un conseil pour labview : essayes et tu trouveras des astuces.

I am not aware of a field type "Help" within a PDF form. I do not see it as a form field that can be added in the form edit mode.
Forms Central forms do not support all the features of Acrobat forms.
Are you talking about the "Tool Tips" or a hidden field that only shows when one enters a field and is hidden upon exiting the field.

The iPod isn't restored, gives out an error 1604, I do all as is written on a site, but helps nothing.

Then it appears that the solution is as specified in the topic for error 1604 which is:
" If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service."

Self Assigned IP - Fixed, but help still needed, please

I'll add a bit of a back story first which I hope will help people understand my issue, but also hopefully lead people with a self-assigned IP issue to a fix (link is within the post)
I’m on on an iMac 20″ Mid 2007. I recently updated to OSX Lion after having wifi connection issues in Leopard. I used to randomly get kicked off my wifi and given a self assigned IP. With Leopard, the issue was fixed by applying a manual IP, router address etc and restarting. The issue would return months later, but I got over it after a few tantrums.
Then as soon as I updated to Snow Leopard, I instantly had no internet access and I could only upgrade to Lion if I downloaded system updates. So after a few hours of searching, I toggled my internet sharing ‘on & off’ and that was enough for that fix.
But then I upgraded to Lion and again, no internet. And nothing worked for me at all, every fix on the internet I tried failed. If my airport ever managed to connect to my router I would get a self assigned IP. Or it would say it was connected but there was no internet. So I hunted for hours and eventually found this:

This did work for me. The fix is to flush your ipfw through terminal, and it worked for me instantly.
However, I now have another issue that I really hope people can help me with. It's not as annoying as the above, but my god it's still very annoying!
Here are some bullets to show the tedious routine I have to go through in order to connect to the internet via my airport.
• I turn on my mac and my it tries to connect to my router automatically. But after a minute of trying, it says it can’t connect.
• I select my router manually from the list and have to enter my password manually, even though it is already saved in my Keychain.
• It then connects and says, ‘Connected but no internet’, so I leave it for two minutes and throw things around the room.
• After those 2 minutes it connects to the internet. But no, I can’t browse the web as the browser says 'DNS look up failure'.
• So I open terminal, enter 'sudo ipfw flush' to flush my ipfw and BINGO, I’m online 5 minutes after logging on to my machine.
The router I am using was only issued to me 8 months ago by my new ISP here in the UK, it connects via WEP and has always been stable for every other device I have connected to it. But I am going to ring up my ISP and see if there is a new router I can get.
If anyone - ESPECIALLY APPLE who seem to be shying away from admitting there has ever been an airport wifi issue - has any information to advise me, then please let me know.
Also if you are having a Self Assigned IP address issue and that fix above works, give the man some credit on his blog, and if you know him, give him a kiss from me!

Update:
I spoke to my ISP to see if they had any newer routers and if they did WPA now.
I have a new router on its way and they have updated my router to do WPA!
The result?
I now connect to my router automatically after a restart. No issue there.
However,
It still can't find the internet when it first connects.
I still have to wait 2 minutes for it to find the net.
I still have DNS issues once connected
I still have to flush ipfw before it works correctly.

Acrobat X Pro installed, but Help didn't

I work at a large agency—about 2800 employees—and we cannot get any Help from Acrobat X Pro.
But that isn't Adobe's fault. We upgraded from 9 to X at least 8 months ago. Ever since, whenever any one of us has hit "Help," we have gotten the same message:
There's a good reason the browser can't find the file at that address. There aren't any files there. In fact, there is no /X folder in C:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Help/en_US/acrobat/.
We have uninstalled and reinstalled from our NAL. Same result.
Our IT folks say this is as it should be—that all Adobe help is now online, so there are no files to be installed on our computers. Funny thing, though: All help has been online for a while. So we found an installation of Acrobat 9 Pro, copied the /9 folder from /Adobe/Help/en_US/acrobat into my installation of Acrobat X Pro, renamed the folder /X instead of /9, and voila! We were taken to the correct Help topic for our context, regardless of what we were doing. Everything worked.
Except that we were taken to the help for 9, not X.
Still, IT insists that there are no files on their CDs, there are no files to be downloaded from Adobe's site, and there should be no such files—indeed, no /Help folder—on our C: drives.
And they just closed a 7-month-old Help ticket with no progress on the fix.
Some of us who are affected are on Windows 7; others are on Windows XP. It seems like that shouldn't matter, though.
Is there a place I can point the IT guys to so they will find the solution to this problem?

Search for user role but help poppup display

Anyone ever trying to search for user role from search action bar or user admin page?
Whenever select role and clicked on the magnifying glass icon, help content displays instead of role selection.
At first I think this is a bug. But when I asked Customer Care they said its an expected behaviour which means that this is how the engineers designed it.
Dont you feel weird? because other field like status, correctly displays status info after clicking the icon.
Hope u can try it this out and give your opinion here.

Okay. So I downloaded the program to get movies from a personal collection on an iPod, but my computer isn't reckonizing that there is a disc in the drive. I put the DVD in the drive, and it says to insert a disc into the drive. Can anyone help me?

We need to make our site safari enabled, but help is needed.

For my company i was asked to solve a problem we have with safari and windows asp pages. We didn't support safari at first but recently we where asked to include safari.
The asp page builds up an table and sends it to the browser. I've included the content type (application/vnd.ms-excel). But safari seems to look at the file extension first.
For security reasons i can't use file system object to save it to disk on the server, and send it to the browser after. So is there a way to tell safari to ignore the file extension and look at the content type? Or do you have an other way of resolving this problem?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

My honest advice to you would be don't buy a MSI motherboard.
Some may have good reviews, but these are based on a couple of hours testing in some lab. The real test of a motherboard is how the end user community rates the board, after weeks and months of use.
Do some research in public forums on any of the Mobo's u you are thinking of. Then base your decsion on that.
I made the mistake of buying an MSI mobo, when i'd previously used only DFI or Asus.
With MSI you are prone to stabilty problems and they seem incapable of releasing bios updates in time with new hardware/processors. Indeed MSI is the ONLY mobo Manfn who cannot write a bios that offically supports Venice + San Diego chips, when every other major manfn released them, months ago.
Its only my humble experience and view , but MSI are when it comes to MOBO.

How do I get Firefox to show hidden files and folders. It should be available under help but help only gets as far as Open Containing folder and doesn't go on to show hidden files and folders

You have an older version of Flash installed - Shockwave Flash 10.0 r45
You can see that for yourself in Tools > Addons > Plugins
"Show hidden files and folders" is a function of the Operating System, not an application such as Firefox. Windows Control Panel > Folder Options > View - Advanced Settings

I Know this isn't an optical drive question but HELP plz.

So I was in blender and i hit cmd + fn + one of the F#'s and I turned on this REALLY annoying voice over for everything I do. I searched system prefs but couldnt find anything, what can I do to shut this guy off?

System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing tab, just turn Voice Over off. (It was Command-Fn-F5.)

Hi,
When you are happy with your track, all you have to do is click 'Bounce', this can be found on the top menu bar at the very right side of the screen. There is also a little button under the master track that says something like 'bnce' or something like that. Clicking this will then give you a window with a load of options of what you want to bounce your track as, just select your preferences and click 'bounce' at the bottom, and that's it!

Much like a wall timer, how do I program labview to simply flip a switch at a certain time? Simple to you but HELP asap!

I've got a case structure going here... I can control it with boolean (on/off) and I'm controlling an 1160 switch module successfully.
The question is, and this is dauntingly difficult to me, how do I set it so that boolean changes at a specific time?
I need to activate that 1160 switch to shut off an extrernal relay at 8:00PM tonight. How can I use the date/time strings and whatnot to get me where I need to be?
I've looked at Scheduler.vi and can't make heads or tails of it... HELP...

Hello:
This is a quick simple VI that may help you, I made it ASAP.
Compares a target hour versus the output of the Format Date Time String, which receives the current time.
If they're the same, it means it's time to shutdown, and stops the While Loop.
Pretty simple, hope this helps you, or if I misunderstood your problem, please let me know.

My iPhone 5c has no sound through any applications. I tried "chatting" with someone but it was anything but helpful

In order to help find a solution, would it be okay if I asked you a few more questions?
When you mention "no sound" and "chatting", you mean that your device is unable to produce sound. Or do you mean it is unable to capture sound?
Something you can do to being differentiating between hardware or software is the following: navigate to Settings > Sounds and slide the "RINGER AND ALERTS" volume slider up and down a little. When you let go do you hear anything?

Batteries (not a problem but help info)

Hey, I was jus surfin around the discussions when i noticed a lot of "battery problem" topics....
here are my thoughts, i use to have this problem where the ipod would turn off for no reason, then i read some where that if the battery gets cold it won't work properly... all i did was keep it warm by any means possible, cuz it use to be full then die when i used it. Now that i have kept it warm (don't jus leave plugged into comp, wall charger may work, but i duno i don't have one yet...) it hasn't really died, the only time has been when it has gotten cold, then i warm it back up and it looks fine~~
