Decimal marker values

Hi,
I have an XY graph wich Xscale is continuously modified by a scale multiplier corresponding to a period of rotation  of a cylindrical piece.
According to the rotation speed of the piece I am modifiyng multiplier and therefore the Xscale of my XY graph.
My issue is that the XY graph only print Xscale values as integer, and the result of the multplication of the scale is not always an integer, so I'd like to know how can I print Xscale value on the XY graph even if they are decimal.
Thanks
Olivier

Hi Olivier,
you should set your own marker values using the appropriate property node. See the attachment!
(Don't forget to adjust the formatting options of the x-scale to show more than 1 digit. )

  • Decimal marks in Photoshop

    Dear fellow users,
I am using the german edition of Photoshop CS5 (same issue with CS4, however).
Is there a way to set the decimal mark from "dot" to "comma"? It is a german standard to have a comma as separators - and in Illustrator and InDesign it IS in fact a comma and works fine. But not in PS! Why this inconsistency? I do not see the point in implementing this in different ways of the same software suit.
As I am not able to fully use the numpad of my keyboard for entries in PS, this "feature" is really annoying and I was not yet able to figure out how to change it.
Is there a way to change this?
    @Adobe Staff: Why, oh why?

Well, if you want to check your regional settings on XP, you can (with suitable translation to German) look here:
Control Panel - Regional and Language Options.
Look at the Number field.  Is it showing a comma before the ending 00?  To check more specifically, you can press the [ Customize ] button and look at the Decimal symbol and Digit grouping symbol settings.
If Photoshop is not following these settings, indeed you have a problem with Photoshop, and Mylenium, who no doubt has more experience with international issues than I do, is probably on the right track.
On the other subject you mentioned, font crash problems often have to do with corrupted or incompatible font files on your system.

  • Decimal places values of Moving  average price

    Hi Experts
Here is scenario:  a material having moving average price (V) when transfer posted with movement type 416 (From project stock to Storage location) is creating an extra FI entry in "Stock in Transit" A/C with a minimal value.
After a deep search i came to conclusion that how system is creating a difference amount to post in a "Stock in transit account".
    Material X Moving average price = 10
Total stock at Storage location 123= 1500
Total Value of stock at Storage location 123 = 15500
Now upon transfer posting of 100 qt accounting entry will be as follows
    Material  X  100 * 10(V)= 1,000
    Material X 100* 10.333(Calculated as 15,500/1500=10.3333)=1033
Difference of 33 will b adjusted in "stock in transit" A/c
Decimal portion value is in stock in transit account. How can i avoid this & why system is not calculating with Price V & why decimals are in consideration?
    Thanx in Advance
    Asif Shahzad.

check the posting key in movement type because ideally, stock should be 1600 after you transfer 100 pcs,
    MAP should be redetermined.
please also check if price mechanism in material master is having S.
because if price mechanism is 'S', system will also have Moving average price, people get confused because of this.

  • Unlink x-axis marker values from graph scale

Say there are three points to plot: y-values 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3. The x-values are 0, 1 and 2, respectively. How can the x-value marker values be changed to 22, 50 and 100 without rescaling the plot's x-axis?

    > I've tried this with all graph types. I want the points to be evenly
    > spaced on the x-axis. I want the marker labels on the x-axis to be
    > arbitrary. e.g.: plotting gain error (y-axis: generally {-1%..1%})
    > versus gain setting (x-axis: generally {48, 24, 8, 4, 2, 1, 0.5,
    > 0.025...}).
    >
The LV graphs support linear and log scaling, and they support a linear
transform between the plotted value and the labeled value, but you are
correct, they do not allow arbitrary labeling of the points on the scale.
To work around this, you might look at placing cursors/markers on the
graph. Show the text labels, hide the lines and points, and set the
color however you like for the text. The marker location can be at the
bottom or top of the g
raph, and the text can be your arbitrary values.
    Then hide the X Scale.
Another approach is to hide the scale and have an array of strings or
numerics that you overlay. The problem with this approach is that as
fonts change when you change platforms, or MS changes the default font,
your array and graph won't line up. The markers on the graph always will.

  • How do you customize a slider to snap to custom marker values?

I programmatically customized the marker values using a property node to 5, 10, 25, and 50. Now I need the slider to snap to these values.

How can I add more than two labels? I see how it would snap that with two labels, but I need 5, 10, 25, and 50. Maybe I am missing something. I think you way will be easier if I can have more than two labels. I came up with an event structure vi to address this problem also but it isn't working as well.

  • How do you display the marker values LabVIEW has chosen for a slider with uniformly spaced markers?

I am trying to set up a slider in a program to control an instrument.  For the most part, using uniformly spaced markers and just setting the slider's (and scale's) min and max values with a property node works well.  However, for some sets of extrema for the slider, the last two marker values are very close together.  I tried making a sequence where I: Set mins and maxes in frame 0, Get the marker values in frame 1, Go thru them and make sure the last two are not too close together in frame 2, and re-set them in frame 3.  However, the marker values that come out of the property node when I try to get the ones set by Labview seem to be the default for the slider, rather than the new ones Labview figured out.  If there was only a few ranges for the slider, I'd just majually set the marker values.  However, there are multiple configurations for the instrument, and thus multiple ranges for the slider, including custom ones.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

What I mean is that after Labview automatically picks the markers, I tried to use a property node to view the markervalues[] array.  That array, however, appears to be the default for the slider.  A picture is included of what I mean by having two values too close together.

  • Copy Marked values forward Macro Logic

    Hi APO-DP Guru's
I had a issue with DP-Macro, Macro is copy Marked values forward.
** Macros in the Macro Book**
      ** Copy Marked Values Forward**
        ** All : ( 1 Iterations :; )**
            **IF**
          ** act_column marked?**
              **COLUMN_MARKED( ACT_COLUMN ) = 1**
** Row: Custom Disaggregation Factor ( Frm  ) =*(2nd week)*
**Row: Custom Disaggregation Factor ( Frm Offset 0 )*(1st week)*
**ENDIF**This is the Macro i am using.
I am Marking(selecting) 3 weeks, i.e week 1, week 2, week 3,  week 1 contains the value 20, when i executes this macro, it supposed to copy the value 20 to week 2, week 3 only, but it coping the 20 valu to week 2, week 3 and unmarked week 4 also.
Could any body tell me  logic for this Macro urgently.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Ravi Pradeep Raju P

you need to change the macro processing direction to backward...
immaterial of your not marking the 4th row it will copy 3rd row to 4th since it is an iterative step
or stop marking row 3 ... row 2 will anyhow be copied to row 3

  • Any bench mark Value wrt OWB Scalability

    Hi,
I am working in a EDW project, we are using OWB as our ETL tool, currently we are working on overall performance improvement of the EDW .
In this regard , we are trying to do a scalability of OWB wrt to data volume and CPU availability .
Can anyone please help us on the following :
Does it have any product profile or any benchmark value from Oracle wrt to OWB .
The Points which needs to considered
    1. Any bench mark Value wrt OWB Scalability, and How it is going to behave with volume and CPU availability
    2. Any scalability Approach or methodology
    3. Any Oracle scalability work carried out for any other clients
Please help us in this regard.
    Thanks.
    Liyakat

In our case, atleast the Timers are fixed, but the number of threads created depends upon some dynamic events for which this java process does not have a control. You might not have control of the events.
You would certainly have control of the threads as long as you designed it that way.
You can queue events and/or throttle event acceptance.
And although one option is to just assume that the events will not overwhelm the system that only works if you know that something further up stream is throttling them. If not and you ignore the problem then you must allow for the possibility that the server will fail if there is an event flood.
Exclusive of that my answer doesn't change - you must set up a network that is suitable for generating the events and then monitor the server as you increase the number of events. You probably want burst and sustained but that depends on the traffic.

  • 3 Decimal place values for Amount Key Figure

    Hi Experts,
I have created an ODS in BI 7.0. This has a amount key figure which is getting calculated by a routine. Now The value that is getting calculated is getting stored into the ODS with only two decimal places.
For example if the value that is gettig calculates is 0.187 by the code, the values that is getting stored is 0.19.
This is not related to Bex display. We need to store the values 0.187 in the system and not 0.19.
The Amount key figure that we are using is of unit 0DOC_CURRENCY . In Additional properties,  'key figure with maximum precision' check box is ticked is . We have not defined any decimal places for the BEX Display.
Kindly help us in this matter.

    Hi Saurabh,
If you wish to change the decimal precision for your 0DOC_CURRENCY... you can use t.code CUNI to change the number of decimal places.  But, then this would be global effect wherein whereever this infoobject is used it would be reflected with the changes you made in CUNI.  Also check if you have authorization to change this.

  • Change the Business Graphic Y-axis from decimal scale value to integer

    Hi,
I am trying to get rid of the decimal points of the Y axis scale to integer.
The scale value is currently showing like below:
    13.86
    10.395
    6.93
    3.465
(This actual data set is currently fall between 3.xxxx to 12.xxxx)
I want the scale label to display in integer, like this:
    15
    12
    9
    6
    3
    or
    13
    10
    6
    3
This is determined dynamically as I have made the below settings.I am mapping the seriesSource of the Percentage BusinessGraphic to a node of attributes type of decimal.
In the Chart Designer, I am setting the Y Value Axis configuration as below:
    Minimum  value: 0
    Minumum calculation: Automatic
    Maximum value: 100
    Maximum Calculation: Automatic
Can you advise me how I can control the graph Y axis scale label to display in integer while I am mapping to a node of decimal data (for percentage values)?
    Thanks,
    KC

    Hi, Poojith.
    After making the below change:
    1. The "Scaling Type" in the "Value Axis" of the Chart Designer is Linear.
    2. I converted the type of the attribute bound to the SimpleSeries to new Decimal(double)
I am still not able to achieve what I want. I am checking the value of the Value Axis --> Line --> Format.
Based on the field description ("Specifies the format of the label output"), it seems like it is the value I should change. It is currently BLANK.
Let me try it out. Please advise if you have any information on the Format string pattern I should use.
    Thanks,
    Kent

  • How to remove trailing zeros from a decimal (type) value?

    Hi Everyone,
I would like to 'drop' some trailing zeros from a decimal value, e.g.: 50.000000, and I am wondering how to go about this?
The value is definitely of decimal type, and in this instance I know that I want to eliminate exactly six (6) zeros.
Any help here will be greatly appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    David

    Try the below:
This is sort of a display issue, you may do it at Application side, which would be efficient.
    Declare @s Decimal(10,6)='50.0000000'
    Select Cast(@s as decimal(10,0))

  • Tooltip on sparkline represents the wrong marker value

I've added multiple sparklines to a report, each representing a trend over the last 12 months. Each month has marker on the sparkline and each marker has a tooltip. The sparkline correctly represents the month's value, but the tooltip shows the wrong month
    (a month later).
    ie:
    - i have a sparkline representing Januari 2014 to December 2014
    - The line and the markers go up and down correctly according to the values of each month so that the third marker represents the value for march 2014.
    - The tooltip (which contains the month and the value of that month) contains the value of one month later. So the tooltip of the third marker, shows april 2014 and the value belonging to april in stead of march 2014 and the value belonging to march.
Is this a known issue? And is there a workaround for this?
    - Matthijs

    Hi Matthijs,
I have created the sample report with Sparkline chart with your case, Its working fine as shown in below screen.
    Tooltip Expression:- =cstr(Fields!MONTH.Value )+" , "+ cstr(Fields!VALUE.Value)
If you want to debug your sparkline chart, with axix values so that you can check its proper X and Y axis value the marker tooltip is showing or not, you can just convert your chart to Full chart as shown in below screen, take backup of report first and
    then do it.
Here is my Sample RDL file Code, Check it. If possible can you provide your tooltip expression?

  • Cannot enter a decimal cmyk value in photoshop? Is rounding it up acurate?

I know it's a stupid question but in illustrator I can add in a decimal....in photoshop I am told that I cannot.
    Why is this?
    Thanks in advance.

In CS4, Illy will show decimals, Indesign and Photoshop will round up and not show the post-decimal values.
In Photoshop (CMYK mode), you can have more than one step within 1% (according to info panel) presumably 100% divided evenly into 255 steps and I can see 3 distinct levels between 0 and 1% dot (per channel).
These will often be a problem if you let them sneak in unexpectedly, so best to round off the .xx figures in Illustrator. I don't know why Illustrator has had this option, seems a bit pointless to me and introduces a significant risk for printers and designers for no real gain.
That's not to say there is no need for all 255 steps, I am not saying that, only that they are dangerous as 'selectable' values and should only be there for use in smooth blends and feathers etc.
I presume this is why Photoshop doesn't let you pick on a % slider, it would jump along unevenly 0 then .392 .784 etc whereas the rgb slider can happily count from 0 to 255. The available tones are based on each channel being 255 steps in 8 bit per channel files.

  • How to return marked values from the FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST

    Hello all.
I'm using the FM F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST with multiple choise activated.
My problem is: if I mark, for example - 2 choises from 5, and then press OK.
If i go in to the same F4 button, I what to see the same marks like before..
At the moment, if i go in again to the same F4, nothing is marked, as if i'm going in for the first time.
    Can someone help me?

    Hi Barak,
I don't think you can achieve this functionality using this FM. Even I think this is not there in standard SAP help, please check.
