Default Activity Method call in TF not executing (in ADF Lib)

Hi,
We have created a ADF Lib of a reusable task flow.
The Task Flow contains two activities
(i) A method call {which is default activity and this method belongs to a datacontrol}
(ii) A view activity (which is a jsff)
Now everything works fine if I am using the TF as a region in same project.
But if I create a ADF Lib of it and implement the same to other application (the new application have same datacontrol and method) the default activity "which is method in our case" is not getting executed, rather the jsff executes first.

Thanks for reply.
But, I have provided the same functionality to DataControl, which was working for TF included project.
Apart from that, program control didn't visit the the default activity method body, hence its sure that it never got executed.
Is there any way I can trace it !!

My program is compiled with JDK 1.5 or 1.6 and retroweaved to 1.4.
If I do not take care I may type
int i=65;
Character.isDigit(i);
instead of
Character.isDigit(char)i);
Without casting to char it uses a method that exists only since 1.5 but not
yet in 1.4.
There are a few other methods that had been added since 1.5
Their use leads to NoSuchMethodError on 1.4 clients.
Their usage must be avoided.
How can I recognize them at compile time?
Or has anybody written a tool to check all method calls
whether they already exist in 1.4 ?
If not I would write it myself and probably will use the javap output.
After reading through the docs of java.lang.reflect.Method I guess that
there is no flag telling when a method had been introduced.

Default Activity changing when it should not

We have a problem where if I use a general task list with 2 operations and both have a seperate activity type assigned, when creating a new SM order we pull the Tasklist into the order but we change the default work centre, this change in default work centre causes the default activity type on the first operation to change to the same default activity type as the one on the second operation which is undesired.
However it is inconsistent when this happens has anyone seen this before or does anyone know if there is an OSS creection for this problem, although I suspect it may be data setup related.

11g Task flow - Method call with router Issue

Hi, I am using bounded task flow method call - which is default activity. The outcome of method call will go to a router and that decides which method/page fragment has to be selected. But when ever i try to call the default activity only the default out come of the router (Page fragment) is shown in the jspx. When click on some button which is binded with the default activity - the task flow is not working as i expected. Pls find the code of my task flow below.

Hi Sankari,
Since after the initial method call, your control flow has the router as its next stop, the //method-call/method/outcome/fixed-outcome can be set to a literal value(go to router) instead of an EL.
And let router decide where to go next(by EL).
Or you can discard your router activity, let the method-call activity decide where to go directly by setting //method-call/method/outcome/to-string to "true". Then the return value of the method decide the next stop.

in my use case i have a table with inputText where i have valueChage Listener method execute and one commadImageLink button(save).
so i have add glass pane to prevent user input until value chage event is busy. using this tutorial link.

problem is when user change some value on input Text and click on save button.
javascript method call and glass pane popup visible to user until value change event is not completed accepted. but it is skip save button action Listener method.

Click on the Save button after the valueChangeEvent call has returned implying after the glass pane popup closes. Won't be feasible to invoke two action listeners simultaneously unless Ajax is used for the JavaScript method call from the inputText action method to return.

11gR2 error: call a bounded task flow with method call as default activity

We migrated several applications to the JDev 11g R2.
There are 2 applications that contain a bounded task flow where we define Method Call as default activity.
We need invoke specific actions before opening the page.
They run well with 11gR1.
But with *11G R2*, I can’t call directly this task flow with the following URL:
http://127.0.0.1:7101/MyAPP/faces/adf.task-flow?adf.tfId=my-flow-def&adf.tfDoc=/WEB-INF/flows/my-flow-def.xml

Hi,
Have a look at the task flow properties, in PatchSet1, a new feature "invokeURLAllowed" is added that prevents bounded task flows from being URL accessible for security reasons. You can swithc this feature on and off

Ps.: I though that bounded task flows that you call from a URL generally needed to have a viewActivity as the default activity

I have a VI A. I want A to call another VI B and execute. After B executes, I want it to close automatically and go back to A. Is this possible ? I tried using open reference and those methods, but I am not able to do it. Can someone help me ? Thanks !

I've created a customized menu and at the instance of me selecting a menu, a VI should load itself dynamically. I am using call by reference. Sometimes it works and sometimes it won't. In short, what I want to achieve is load VIs dynamically and close them dynamically once they finish executing. Thanks !

Method in WF not executing..

Hi, Can anyone tell me whether to include Delegated Object (ZDISCON) or Standard Object(DISCONNECT) in the activity step type of my Workflow (WS9000009).
The issue is:
The reciever is being called while trying to create a event in SWUE. But the Function module inside the ZDISCON is not executing.

If you Delegate the Custom BO to Std. BO, you can use the std. BO then custom BO methods will automatically come.
The reciever is being called while trying to create a event in SWUE. But the

This happen because Delegation is not correct.

Router based activity and method call issue

Hi All
Iam presently working of Router based task flow(Bounded task flow) and page fragments
here in above router based task flow i have used the method call.
In above method call i return status ,and on basis of that status i redirect it to success page or error page(the success and error page are page fragments i.e. .jsff page).
i have done the drag and drop of the above mentioned router based task flow in my jspx page in a facet as a region.
below is the code for the my jspx page

Remote procedure call failed and did not execute response after changing contents

Hey Hey!
I have reviewed the other posts related to this issue but have not found a solution.
I have done myself quite a mischief and hope someone here can help me out!
I'm running an old ACER laptop with Windows 7. This PC belonged to an old colleague and therefore all of the folders and user names were still under his name, so I decided to try to change them all to my name. The main issue was the USER folder which had
the locked symbol next to it but it wasn't locked at all. I googled how to delete this folder and one bright spark suggested I create a new folder with my name, copy all of the folders from the other 'locked' user's folder into my folder, and then delete the
old user's folder.
That was fine. All seemed well. When I tried to delete the old folder the computer sat around thinking saying it was 'moving' but not doing anything. So, I cancelled the operation in the Task Manager. When I attempted to open any folder from the start menu
or desktop or task bar I was presented with a bunch of numbers and letters and the message "REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL FAILED AND DID NOT EXECUTE."
I quickly googled the message realising I'd made a major error and the first response was to type in services.msc or something to that effect, so I typed that into the Start Menu search bar and hit enter and nothing came up. So, I tried again, but now I
couldn't type anything into the search bar, I could not even select any programs from the Start Menu.
So, I can't access the Start Menu, search bar, or any of the folders unless I open uTorrent, select open containing folder, and from there I can access what I need.
I'm too afraid to reboot the PC. I can't locate my copy of Windows 7 anywhere. I'm freaking out!!
Before I pour my lowly student wage into getting a professional to fix it, could someone please offer some suggestions??

SSIS Catalog views are not executing from PROC calling from a service broker

I have a package deployed on SSISDB (the new concept in MS SQL 2012, SSIS catalogs). I have t-sql code in which i will be able to execute SSIS package in SSISDB with no problems. But if i place the same t-sql code inside of a procedure which will be called
by a service broker , the code is not executing.
I am using the following code to execute a package in the SSISDB catalog

This code executes if run it alone or placed in a regular stored procedure , but not executes if i palce this same code inside of a procedure which is being called/executed by a service broker call like this:

= 1,

Assuming you are getting stack overflows (likely if you're unfamiliar with recursive calls), you need to put some sort of check condition inside the method so it doesn't call itself endlessly (AKA "infinite recursion").

Int not increased when incremented in method call

Could someone please explain why my int value is not increased in value when the increment is performed within a method call?
