Default data in Customs document

Hello
How do I make default data into a field setting with conditions such as if Field A is 'X' and Field B is 'Y', then there should be a default data 'Z' into Field C.
Example, in Customs declaration document, if Country of Dep is X from header info and Item category is Y from Item info, then the default data for Place of Loading header should be Z
The Procedures for Defaulting Customs data in IMG has been checked. I have defined the Target document data for document field. Also done the Determination procedure for defaulting data. I have set up the master data in the Customs application menu to specify the Source data and Target data to default.
Am I missing something pls or is this something that BADI is better for?
Thanks

  • Defaulting data from worklist document

    Hi,
I had been able to create a worklist based on the PO from the feeder system.
However when I try to create the customs declaration using the same, not all the data available in the worklist view is being transferred to the document.
Is there anyway to control the transfer of these datas.
To be specific I'm not able to copy data such as the COO, Destination country etc., at the item level.
Also can someone give me an idea with an example how to configure the defaulting of partner function in the header.
    with best regards
    Surender

You can default Partner which are not coming from Feeder syetem to GTS suppose you want to default your Carrier( Forwarding Agent )  as your Ship to party .
To achieve this you have to following config:
    1. Under "Define Data for Default Partner"  Define a Procedure say ZTEST .
    2. Under Default rules you now define
Target field  :  Forwarding Agent ( Parnter Function )
Source Field : Ship to Party  ( Parnter Function )
And Give seq as 1 and check  "Default Active Flag"
3.Assign  Proc ZTEST under Define Determination Proc for Default Data for the Leg Reg of the custom document on which you want your default data.

If you want the default dates to show when creating or Copying a record, use Customer Exit ZXPADU01

  • Change of baseline date in customer document

    Hi Experts,
Baseline date field is uneditable and when we tried changing it through Mass, it throws error and it is obvious. But user has earlier change this field without changing the payment term. He has directly changed the baseline date. Is there any standard setting exists for this other than OB32?

To change mass level, go to FBL5N and select the appropriate customer & perameters then select the line items. select the icon which is shown below then change baseline date as per your requirement then execute.

  • Default Data for Document Fields D_CUII_TYP

    Hi experts,
I am trying to define default data for document fields in Export Switzerland.
Source field is G_IMPCN,  target field is D_CUII_TYP.
I create the following master data, i.e.
    G_IMPCN = 39095000
    D_CUII_TYP = FREI
meaning if G_IMPCN is 39095000 then Legal Document Type FREI is being created automatically.
Then I run the default data function on document level but nothing happens.
The log shows G_IMPCN with value 39095000 but D_CUII_TYP = FREI is missing.
Do you have any idea what else I should do to resolve this issue ?
Many thanks for help which is much appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Corinne

    Hi Corine,
Be careful with the logs, they are quite confusing as sometimes it displays the value it is looking for and sometimes the value it has foud. And sometimes the green and red lights are wrong or put in a logic that is confusing.
Most likely it does not find the value because it is looking in the Import numbering in the import scheeme. Did you try with STAWN ? At any rate, if I may suggest, you need to setup the system with having the commodity code in the Declaration, because if you do not have the Scheme CHEXP defined in the Scheme for commodity code you are going to face trouble when trying to retransfer the Tarification to the feeder System.
    Keep me posted.

  • Propose item packaging data for customs declaration

    Hi All,
My requirement is to update packaging data information as mentioned below in the item level of Customs declaration
    1. CNTNO  (Container Number)
    2. PGETY   (Package Type)
    3. PGESU   (Number of Packages)
    4. PGEX1    (External Package Number)
I am using BAdI for Default Data in Customs Shipment and Customs Declaration. I have checked all the methods in this BAdI, and the method which fits more close to my requirement is ITEM_LEGPGE_PROPOSE. But this method allows me to update
    a. Package Tye
    b. Number of Packages
How should I take care of updating other two fields : Container Number and External Package Number?
Is there any other BAdI in GTS which takes care of it?
I would really appreciate your inputs on this.
    Note:
I am transfering this Packaging Data information from Packaging data tab present at item level in Transit document (Type: TRLOIM) to Packaging data tab present at item level Customs declaration (Type: CULOIM).
The transit document is extended with items and packaging information through the receipt of an EDI message from Customs.
    Thanks & regards,
    Yogesh A Sharma

When transfering the DATA to GTS the Program fills the API for the transfer, you can go and change the information there. For this you can use the BADI's that are found in the feeder System under
SPRO / Sales & Distribution / Foreign Trade/Customs / SAP GTS Plugin / BADI for SAP Global Trade Services / Edit control for document transfer.
As mentionned above you may replace the GU number by your container Number (Field EXT_ID) or you can try by filling EXT_ID2 / or use any of the additionnal Fields of the Declaration, or in GTS you have the possibility to add supplementary fields in to the declaration (but I never tried it up to now) in the API which is called at  "Perform api6800_csd_Synchronize" during the document transfer.

  • Default font size for Text screen in customer document

We use the text function to enter additional customer data for customer invoice correspondence. The data is pasted from a Word document onto an existing invoice document using menu Extras - Texts - select Correspondence then paste.
Once pasted the tab funstion is used to line up the data.
The default font within the 'Text' screen is different from the default font used in the correspondence. This causes a misalighnment of the text when printing the invoice.
How do I change the default font size in the 'Text' screen. This is probably more of a techie than functional uestion. The SAP screen is SAPLSTXX (via either FB03 or FBl5N)

  • Default date into Classification Period on GTS Customs Product Master

    Hello -
Does anybody know if there is a way to default dates into the Classification Period dates that appear on the Customs Product Master when assigning a Tariff or Commodity Code to a Product?
I am trying to default the current date into the Valid From date & a specific date in the future in the Valid To date so that a user does not need to enter these every time they classify a product.
    Your help is appreciated.

    Hi Ralf,
try report /SAPSLL/PRODUCT_DELETE it deletes customs products.
--> Disadvantage is 2000 entries per selection.
--> Advantage is this report wont delete product which is used in customs or compliance document.

  • Filtering Item, Customer and Supplier data on Marketing Documents

My client has 7 franchises under one umbrella, so as their item, customer and vendor masters will be at one place in SBO. But their requirement is when specific franchise person work on marketing documents, could only be able to access its respective master data in LOV's. I filtered it through formatted search and filtering in LOV's as well but he/she can access others master data. Can anybody tell me any workaround for it?
    Thanks & regards

    Hi there!
I am exactly in the same situation. Did you get some answers or did you find any solution about the filtering data and marketing documents?
I try to filter some data like BP (OCRD), Sales Marketing documents & Opportunities by using the SlpCode from the OSLP table.
I have to do as well a link between the login used and the slpcode.
I have to do a global like by using the table OUSR (user) (link between login and slpcode).
    Any advice?

  • How to set a default date for a custom field of Date type in project server 2010.

    hi,
    can somebody help  me.
How Can i set the default date for a custom field of date type in project server 2010 ?

    Dear Rohan,
You can set default value to custom field thru Lookup table. Assign lookup table to custom field and set default value to some lookup value (Note: check the “Choose a value to use as a default when adding new item” checkbox).

  • Custom master data for Sales Document Number

Is it possible to create master data for "sales document number" as a custom field and/or table in R/3?  We have a need to record the "end user" customer of an order but this data may be updated a long time after the order and sale is complete.  IT seems that loading to BW/BI may be simpler if this is treated as document attributes rather than transactional data since no delta will be trigger by changes to this field.  Does anyone have experience with this approach?

    Hi,
it is possible to create attributes for this InfoObject. Add the Attributes you need in BW. You can use the attributes even if the sales doc is line item dimension of your cube.
On Sourcesystem side you have to create a generic extractor in SBIW. I think a table view on VBAK or VBAP may fullfill your needs. Of course the tables are not the smallest ones but maybe u can use the timestamp to implement a generic delta. Check whether the timestamp is set when the 'end user' is set. Not every change in the sales document leads to an entry in the delta queue of logistic, but the timestamp should be set.
After that replicate the datasource to BI and connect it to the attributes of 0SALES_DOC
I had a similar enhancement at one customer reading the actual transport routes to the sales documents and it worked fine.
    Hope that helps

  • Reading GTS Customs Document Data from ECC

    Hi,
I need to read customs document data for a corresponding delivery in ECC and do further processing in ECC based on customs document data. Is there any function module available either in ECC/GTS (RFC enabled) to read the customs document data?
    Thanks,
    Anu.

    Hi Anu,
unfortunately there isn't any. The data flow is basically always ECC-->GTS. Only status data and some special data is retransferred (preference flag, commodity code etc.).
Why would you do this? The customs document is based on ECC documents. What is there in GTS that you needed in ECC but is not there?

  • Using custom document protocal in B2B for Binary data transfer

    Hello All,
Below are the steps that I am performaing in my project
    1) I am enquing the message using B2b adapter to JMS queue on SOA server
    2) I have selected opaque and binary fomat while configuring the JMS adapter
    3) Before invoking b2b adapter to push the message, trying to set below proeprties in bpel
    <bpelx:toProperty name="b2b.fromTradingPartnerId"
    variable="varFromParty"/>
    <bpelx:toProperty name="b2b.toTradingPartnerId" variable="varToParty"/>

    on B2b console
    1) I have configured JMS listenign channel, file deliver channels properly
    2) I have defined docuemnt definition under custom document protocal without xsd
    custom->1.0->Binary->Binary_def
    3) created agrement and selected file as deleivery channel
    when testing this case
    - bpel- B2b adapter successfully pushing message into jms queue on soa server
    - b2b jms listening channel is able to pickup the message from jms-queue but encountering with the document protocal definition error
    - if I check reports section - sender and reciever are showing as same partner name where as in wired message all the properties(to_party, from_party etc..) are getting populated with the values that we sent from bpel
I am not able to figure out the issue so please let us know what extra parameteres that I need to send from bpel to come out of this issue. PLease treat this as imp since i have deliverable.
    Thanks,
    Anjana

    Hi Anuj,
Thanks for the quick response. This option fixed the issue. thanks for your suggestion.
I tried this option earlier when I was doing some R&D, at that time message iteself was not picked up by B2b listening channel from jms queue so I have unchecked and didn't try this option again.

  • For a Sales order, what is Actual Delivery Date to Customer?

    Hi Experts,
I am an ABAP consultant. In a particular report, for a Sales order I am asked to display:
    ‘Delivery Create Date (LIKP-ERDAT)’,
    ‘PGI Date’,
    ‘Requested Delivery Date (VBAK-VDATU)’ and
    ‘Actual Delivery Date to Customer’.
And in addition, I also have to show:
‘No: of days between Order Create Date to Delivery Create Date’,
‘No: of days between Delivery Create Date to PGI Date’,
‘No: of days between Requested Delivery Date to Actual Ship Date’ and
‘No: of days between Order Create Date to Actual Ship Date’.
I’ve searched SCN for similar questions but I couldn’t get clarity. I’ll be very grateful if somebody can explain me how to find the ‘Actual delivery date to customer’ and what is the difference between this date and ‘Billing date’. Also, please explain, the difference between ‘Delivery Create Date’ & ‘PGI’?

    Hi Rashmith,
It seems the report is related to delivery. Below is the explanation for the different terms you mentioned in your question.
Delivery Create Date (LIKP-ERDAT)---- when a delivery is created with or without reference of an order system writes the date of creation time of creation and created by in the header data. Creation of delivery does not means that goods are dispatched. There are many steps further after a delivery is created before goods are dispatched.  For example I have created an order, created delivery on 01.01.2014; delivery date will always be 01.01.2014.
PGI Date (LIKP-WADAT_IST)------ Post goods issue date is the date on which goods move out of the company to carrier. This is the last step of delivery. When delivery is created system derives different dates of planning; at this stage it will determine the planned PGI date (LIKP-WADAT) and when actual PGI  happens system writes the date in LIKP-WADAT_IST which is actual goods issue date.
Requested delivery date (VBAK-VDATU)------When order is created for a  customer he asks for a material, a quantity and a date on which he wants the goods. This date on which customer wants the goods is called requested delivery date. Based on the requested delivery date system will check feasibility of delivering the goods on the requested delivery date based on the delivery scheduling.
You can get the RDD based on the below logic.
Input the delivery number in VBFA-VBELN and VBFA-VBTYP_V and get VBFA-VBELV.
Input VBFA-VBELV in VBAK table and get the value of VDATU.
Actual Delivery Date to Customer-----Actual delivery date is Actual post goods issue date (LIKP-WADAT_IST). This is the date on which goods are issued to the customer and customer is liable for billing for the goods dispatched.
Difference between the Actual delivery date (Actual goods issue date) and billing date.
Normally as per standard SAP, once goods are moved out of the company customer is liable to be for billing for the goods dispatched. So by default in standard SAP system copies the actual goods issue date (LIKP-WADAT_IST) as billing date (VBRK-FKDAT) irrespective of the date of creation of the invoice (If delivery is goods issued on 01.01.2014 and billing document/invoice is created today i.e. 14.04.2014, system by default will take 01.01.2014 as billing date). And this is the correct practice.
However  if you want the current date as the invoice creation date instead of the actual goods issue date we can control it by copy controls feature given in SAP.
So based on the copy controls setting, it may be different from the actual goods issue date/ actual delivery date.

  • B2B Custom Document Type not getting identified

    Hello,
I have installed Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g on my local machine and created a custom document type with proper .xsd definition and XPath Expression Identifier in Oracle B2B interface and configured its trading partners ( Host & Remote ) along with an agreement between the partners.
I have also configured the host listening channel of Generic-File type which picks xml files from my c:\orclsrvs_in folder.
My problem is that the moment I drop any sample file in the expected directory, it gets picked up from B2B , but there isn't any record of the same under Reports and Metrics links.
The Business message, Application message and Conversation message tabs are also not showing any information about the record picked, but in wire message tab, the record is shown in PROCESSING state.
I am not able to conclude whats wrong behind this.. where can i track the logs for the same ??
kindly help to resolve this issue.
    Thanks & Regards
    Hiteshkumar Chaudhary

    Hi Hitesh,
i came to know that B2B extracts the TP name from the filename itselfYes, in case of Generic File, Generic SFTP and Generic FTP, file name provides the necessary values to Oracle B2B to identify the Trading Partner. You can define your own file name format in the Delivery Channel under Transport Protocol Parameters in field "Filename format" (It's an optional field but it is always good to define your own format, otherwise B2B will take it's default format - TradingPartner_DocumentType_Revision_msgType_msgId_replytoMsgID_extension.xml ). Following Filename formats can be used -
    %FROM_PARTY%
    %TO_PARTY%
    %DOCTYPE_NAME%
    %DOCTYPE_REVISION%
    %MSG_ID%
    %TIMESTAMP%
These file name formats can be used in any combination; for example,
    %TO_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_NAME%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%.dat
Note - Any file extension is allowed.
what are the system parameters to be set in weblogic console and how?? This activity is part of the pre and post installation steps. If you have done those without getting any errors then nothing else is required.
how shall I reinstall XEngine properly ??XEngine is part of B2B installation. If B2B gets installed without flashing any errors then we assume that other components of this part has installed properly.
