Default values in purchase order when using ME21
Need to add field default settings for SAP transaction code ME21 (create PO). The fields we want to add defaults to are: valuation type (EKPO-BWTAR) to default a text "ATT" and storage location (EKPO-LGORT) to default a value "03" when the user is creating a purchase order with transaction code ME21. I cannot find any exits or BAPI that will allow this and users do not want to use Enjoy screens. All help appreciated michaeljames8 at hotmail.com
Hi,
You can create the field exits using the program RSMODPRF.
Execute the program RSMODPRF and then give the data element of the field (BWTAR or LGORT).
and Execute again.
Then it takes you to function module screen with the name of the function FIELD_EXIT_BWTAR for BWTAR field and FIELD_EXIT_LGORT for LGORT.
Then inside the function module just give this code.
output = '123'.
Then by default you can see that value while you run the transaction.
Hope it helps.
Reward if it is useful.
Thanks,
Srinivas

Excise rate and value is not getting defaulted from the purchase order
Hi all,
While capturing excise invoice , the excise rate and value is not getting defaulted from the purchase order and in Excise Item Tab BED,AED,ECS is Zero at both header as well as item level for only one material in STO process and if we are doing same process taking other material all things are coming perfectly and We are maintaining condition with respect to vendor, plant and material combination.Any input related to this will be helpfull and rewarded.
Regards
VishalHi,
Follow STO Process for this;
1.Create a vendor for the company code of receiving plant, using account group: 0007 using T-Code XK01.
2. Assign this vendor to Delivering plant
Go to XK02 >Purchasing view>Extras>Add. Purchasing data>Plant
3. Create internal customer with the sales area of the vendor. Go To XD01
4. In pricing procedure determination relevant to STO, assign document Pricing Procedure and customer pricing procedure appropriate for STO to get the pricing in the invoice.
5. Maintain condition records for the relevant pricing condition.
6. Some more setting for STO: Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Receiving plant >assign customer here & Supplying SA (for billing) to Receiving plant here
7. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > define shipping data for plants > Go to Supplying plant and assign the sales area of receiving plant.
8. Go to MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > assign delivery Type & Checking rule
Assign the delivery type to document type. In this case, Delivery type NLCC is assigned to Document type NB
9. Go to MM> Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up STO > Assign document Type, One step Procedure, Under delivery tolerance
Assign the document type NB to supplying plant and receiving plant
10. After all settings, Create the STO using T-Code: ME21N and maintain pricing conditions of freight and Save.
11. In supplying plant Maintain condition record in sales using VK11 the same will flow in receiving plant when referring the OBD no during MIGO.
10. Create Delivery: VL10G
12. Picking, PGI: VL02N
13. Billing: VF01
Save the document and its done
14. J1IIN - Outgoing Excise Invoice
15. MIGO - Goods Receipt against outbound Delivery

Error in : Purchase order Creation using BAPI_PO_CREATE1
Hell guys,
I am trying to create a PO using a BAPI - BAPI_PO_CREATE1
I want the new PO to have all the characteristics of an existing PO. whose PO # is stored in wa_order_split_create-docnr and for the new PO, i want the quantity from wa_order_split_create-qty_acptd and the delivery data to be wa_order_split_create-dly_date. But this process and code below gives a short dump in the std FM - MEPO_DOC_ITEM_GET . It raises an exception of failure. I am trying to create many new PO's in the loop below. If there is just one row, sometimes, it creates the PO even with the exception failure ( which is pretty weird).
Am i making any mistake while filling the header or item or schedule lines for the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 ? Any tips or clues why I am getting a dump ?

I can connect to Siebel Server manager using command as : srvrmgr /g 192.168.0.163 /e Sieb81 /u SADMIN /p SADMIN
ODBC connectivity is also ok and i can connect as : ./odbcsql /source Sieb81_DSN /u SADMIN /p SADMIN
While installing Siebel i had left one step i .e.. creation of siebenv.sh using CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript because i got error when executed this script as :
Execution command : ./CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript /u01/siebel/ses/siebsrvr 192.168.0.163:2320 ENU Oracle
Error : cp: cannot copy a directory, '/u01/siebel/ses/siebsrvr/locale/' , into itself , '/u01/siebel/ses/siebersrvr/locale/C/locale'
Please suggest me what to do because if i want to configure again the same issue with CreateSiebSrvrEnvScript.
Message was edited by: Prabhakar2991Hi Prameela,
You can see all application objects are online and running. One more thing I have also checked ODBC is also working fine. I mean , user SADMIN can connect using ODBC.

Changing default printer in Purchase order
Hi
This is Mohammed. Khan, when we are working with these purchase Order T-codes (IW32, IW21, IW28, IW38) When ever we are trying to give purchase order print, than automatically it will take $MECH,at present this printer is not available in our landscape, if there I donu2019t know where this printer is defined exactly, I am searching this particular printer in Output devices(SPAD) but this is not available in that list, can any body tell me how to change the default printer, from purchase order printing list, and also let me know how to set different printer in the place of $MECH printer..
Thank you,
Regards,
Mohammed. KhanHi
Try checking NACE transaction, for your output type the default printer assigned (in communication method). And also check defaults tab in user record in SU01 tcode.
Thanks -
The default value of purchasing group in "carry out Sourcing "
Dear , expert :
I work in SRM7.0 ,ECS!
I have two questions about the screen of "carry out Sourcing ":
1,How can set the default value of purchasing group ?Now the default is empty .
2.The purchaser can select many purchaser group here ,I want to know what controls this .in the group responsibility ?
Thanks!Hi Alex
If there are more purchase group responsible for one product category. the end user (requestor) can select which purchase group before he order a cart.
so that sc goes to respective purchaser cockpit in the sc ?
if you have only one purchase group responsible . no probem
or
redistribute workload
you can distribute your cart to another purchaser
for eg. initailly ALEX is purchase group in the sc.
now you can transfer MASA purchase group via redistribution workload
so now the sc shows in the MASA cockpit with new purchase group as MASA instead of ALEX purchase group name

Either you can use the Rounding Value or you can use a Rounding profile in MRP2 view to round of your order qty and rouding value in MRP1 view.

Default Values in Purchase Requisition
Hi MM Experts,
I want to set default values for Purchasing Organisation and delivery address for a particular user in transaction ME51N(Purchase requisition creation).
Can someone please advise me on how to do it?
I tried using the "Default Values" button, but the fields Purch Org and Delivery address are not there.
Thanks in advance.
cheers,
RandiHi Randi,
In ME51N, once the source of supply is assigned, the purchasing org will default to the porg defined for the vendor that is
assigned. For MRP, Purchase Organization will only be taken from the Source List. The POrg. cannot be dopted automatically due to the reasons mentioned in the Note 73241.
73241 ME51: User parameter EKO is not generated

"Actual" value in purchase order
Hello everyone,
We´ve detected that this field is not showing the sum of the entered service entry sheets.
This field is showing a greater value than the total of service entries created.
Anyone know if there is any error at standard system that doesn´t refresh well this value??
Thank you everyone in advance.
Regards,
cecilHi,
I think in this case there is some inconsistency in your system.
To correct the relevant purchase orders just use report RMBESTK3 which
should be implemented in your system. If it is not, this report is
also documented in note 126285.
Just run this report RMBESTK3 for the relevant service purchase orders
(with test flag for the first run).
And also refer the note 198253 .
For blanket purchase orders please use the report in note 198253.

Set default value for price unit when creating material master data
HI: Every
could you tell me how to use user-exit or else ways to set default value(such as 1000) for field "Price unit" (MBEW-PEINH) when creating material master data(MM01)?
I have try to use Exit:EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001. However, this way cannot respones it.
thanks
HenryHi: Ihave find out a solution
Use BADI: BADI_MATERIAL_REF
SPROlogistics general enhancement supplement or change default data (industry)
And then creating a Implementation Name
Double click method: CREATE_MATERIAL
And then write code as below:
method IF_EX_MATERIAL_REFERENCE~CREATE_MATERIAL.
c_mbew-peinh = '1000' .

However, SAP still store '1000' in database evenif we change the default value such as 100 when we use TCode MM01.
in additional, we still use MM02 to change the default value such as '100'
can anybody tell me how to do?

Why pop up is shown to ask for inputing sales order when using COR1
I want to create a process order with order type PI01, but pop up window is shown to ask for sales order when using COR1. I suppose there is something wrong with material master setting, but I've never set classification to this material.
Please help.Hi Nichole
Is the material assigned to any MRP group , if yes then check the config settings on t-code OPPR, if stg group is assigned. also check the matrial type to default MRP group assignment settings in SPRO>production>mrp>MRPgroup> Define MRP Group for Each Material Type.

Migration of Purchase Order History using RM06EEI1
Hi
I have migrated Open Purchase Orders from one SAP system to another SAP system.
I have loaded the Purchase Order details using business object BUS2012 and the PO History using program RM06EEI1.
Only open quantities were loaded to facilitate subsequent Goods Receipts and Invoice Receipts.
The records were loaded without errors.
The Material Ledger was inactive during the migration and activated after the migration.
Everything looks ok from a migration perspective. The correct quantities are created on the PO, the GR shows on the History tab, and the correct GL Accounts were posted to i.e the GRIR Clearing Account and the IR Account.
However, I am unable to perform Invoice Verification (MIRO) and Reversal of Goods Receipts (MIGO) on these records.
The error message is "No (suitable) item found for purchase order".
Has anyone encountered this scenario and can shed some light on this issue?
Regards
MaganHi,
I think the best solution would be,
Identify the open POs in legacy system
Migrate the data for these POs for table EKKO, EKPO, EKET and long texts.
Once migrated run tcode OMQ5. this will generate the correct file so that you can upload correct PO history.
Susequently, upload this file through the tcode OMQ2.
Check that you provide correct conversion accounts..
you will get correct Open POs and PO history of open POs from legacy to new system. -
Purchase order layout using Smartform
Hi All,
Can anyone let me know how to create Purchase order layout using smartforms and assigning it to output type.
Is there standard smartform for purchase order?http://smoschid.tripod.com/How_to_do_things_in_SAP/How_To_Build_SMARTFORMS/How_To_Build_SMARTFORMS.html

Try this. A simple sample Smart Form.
SAP Smartforms can be used for creating and maintaining forms for mass printing in SAP Systems. The output medium for Smartforms support printer, fax, e-mail, or the Internet (by using the generated XML output).
According to SAP, you need neither have any programming knowledge nor use a Script language to adapt standard forms. However, basic ABAP programming skills are required only in special cases (for example, to call a function module you created or for complex and extensive conditions).
1. Create a new smartforms
Transaction code SMARTFORMS
Create new smartforms call ZSMART
2. Define looping process for internal table
Pages and windows
First Page -> Header Window (Cursor at First Page then click Edit -> Node -> Create)
Here, you can specify your title and page numbering
&SFSY-PAGE& (Page 1) of &SFSY-FORMPAGES(Z4.0)& (Total Page)
Main windows -> TABLE -> DATA
In the Loop section, tick Internal table and fill in
ITAB1 (table in ABAP SMARTFORM calling function) INTO ITAB2
3. Define table in smartforms
Global settings :
Form interface
Variable name Type assignment Reference type
ITAB1 TYPE Table Structure
Global definitions
Variable name Type assignment Reference type
ITAB2 TYPE Table Structure
4. To display the data in the form
Make used of the Table Painter and declare the Line Type in Tabstrips Table
e.g. HD_GEN for printing header details,
IT_GEN for printing data details.
You have to specify the Line Type in your Text elements in the Tabstrips Output options.
Tick the New Line and specify the Line Type for outputting the data.
Declare your output fields in Text elements
Tabstrips - Output Options
For different fonts use this Style : IDWTCERTSTYLE
For Quantity or Amout you can used this variable &GS_ITAB-AMOUNT(12.2)&
5. Calling SMARTFORMS from your ABAP program
REPORT ZSMARTFORM.
Calling SMARTFORMS from your ABAP program.
Collecting all the table data in your program, and pass once to SMARTFORMS
SMARTFORMS
Declare your table type in :-
Global Settings -> Form Interface
Global Definintions -> Global Data
Main Window -> Table -> DATA

SMARTFORMS GENERATION: (calling internal table fields)
 Open a smartform using the tcode smartforms.
 Usually form attributes shows admn data.
 In the form interface declare import/export parameters if any. Else declare the tables in tables tab button.
 In the windows and pages expand and create a table. It automatically generates header, main area and footer for the table.
 In data tab button in the table we usually declare a work area to bring the data from se38. Like: ktab into wa. ( The purpose of declaring the wa is , to get the data of the ktab in to header from the body area of the internal table).
 And in the tablepainter pushbutton in table we can have any no of line types. Depending on the requirement. ( for ex: If we want to devide a row in to 4 columns, we can devide it as 4,4,4,4cm as line type 1, And usually for the footer we dont need no of columns, So, we declare it as one column with 16cm measure with the name line type 2.). We can use these line types in the tables.
 In the header right click>>create>>tableline. It asks for line type. Select one line type which is appropriate.
 Like same create a row2 in main area using right click. If we select the line type 1, it automatically generates 4 cells. We can create text in each cell as per requirement.
 We can generate general attributes using general attributes tab button in the text. Or in the other way. We can switch on the field list on/off button from the application tool bar. It displays all the attributes in the left down corner of the screen. We can drag and drop the required fields in the general attributes tab button of the text.
 We continue the same procedure for all the texts. The texts should be displayed in the gray color. Then only it can collects the data from the abap editor fields.
 If it wont turns gray, we can check the fields in the editor by changing it to the line editor. The best thing is to drag the fields from the list, rather than declaring like &wa-matnr&
 In the footer also we create a line type and in that table line we create text.

In the method I we are calling the amartform dynamically using the function module 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'.
Here we are exporting form name and importing fm_name.
So we need to declare the variable fm_name as
data: FM_NAME TYPE RS38L_FNAM.
We can have the type of the fm_name in the function module 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME' (in the export tab button).
Since we are passin the name of the Function module generated by the smart form in to the fm_name variable. We run the function module with the name fm_name, but not the FM generated by the smartform(like /1BCDWB/SF00000199)¬¬¬¬¬¬.
In the method II we directly call the smartform generated function module (i.e, /1BCDWB/SF00000199).
But the method I is recommended. In the method I, The fm_name is a variable we dont put it in the quotes while calling.
In the both methods we declare the internal table using the like option, but not begin of . end of. And in select statement we select *, But not individual fields.
