Defect: Ctrl-Shift-N Blanks worksheet contents.

Question

The Ctrl-Shift-N user-interface approach is non-intuitive and not implemented well. But that is not what I am reporting.
I cannot open a new worksheet with Ctrl-Shift-N. I have to use those keystrokes in an existing worksheet.
When I type Ctrl-Shift-N, the contents of the worksheet are removed.
There is no valid reason to do this from a user perspective.
The contents of the worksheet should remain untouched when I change to a stand-lone connection. The product (thankfully!!!) does not blank worksheet contents when I change shared connections via the dropdown list. There is no good reason to act differently for a stand-alone connection.

Ctrl-Shift-N is not obvious at all, because it works differently from Ctrl-N.Well it is performing a different function so it might well work differently.
The purpose of ctrl-shift N is to open a worksheet which is using a new copy of the current connection.

So, if your screen is cluttered with lots of tabs (all labled untitled 101, untiltled102, untitled103), and so you don't notice that you're now working in untitled104 instead of 103, it's easy to see why I thought it was changing the existing worksheet.
From a ui perspective, requirements 2 and 3 are clunky and non-intuitive.You need to understand what it is doing before you can pass judgement on that.
