Defined FTP filename but no working....

I try to name the target filename but always no working....
Please kindly help to check anything wrong with my codes & setting,

The format of intended file name is "A1111-" + ID + ".XML"
For Example: YC101-434729844234234.xml
(The content if ID is from a field of source RFC structure)
Therefore, I create a UDF with an argument "var1" with java code as below

Tick File Name
Anything insufficient with my works??

When I set my file name from abc.xml to *,
I got an error message from runtime workbench as below:
File processing failed with com.sap.exception.standard.SAPIllegalArgumentException:
The parameter "argument" has the value "remote:///test/*", so it contains the character
"remote:///test/*" which is not allowed
Btw, The target directory (under Target tab) what I set is /test...
But for my case,
the argument "var1" I supposed should be the content of ID (A field of source RFC structure);
for example, the content of ID is 665329478934;
my intended target file name will be A1111-665329478934.xml (format: "A1111" + ID + ".xml")
Any more suggestions??

Makepkg: curl can't download files from FTP servers but wget works

I've installed Archlinux in a VMware workstation. When I try to build a package which wants to download it's source files from a FTP server (eg. Eagle) curl fails to download the file with the following error message:

When I replace curl with wget in makepkg.conf and then try to build the package wget successfully downloads the file.
Can anybody tell me if there is a bug in curl or how to find out why curl isn't able to download from FTP?

I cannot connect direct to the internet from hte epub programme.
Using playbook connected by wifi connection. Went to Gutenburg site. Selected an epub book and pressed download. This was put into the download directory. Opened epub reader and went to 'Select books', opened 'Downloads' folder and the epub book from Gutneburg was there. Selected and installed into the Library.

I have created a calc script to export data using DATAEXPORT, and to define the filename an essbase variable.
Here all right
I copy this code to a business rules to run it from a business rules, but I have a problem with the essbase variable, when I validate it, it gives me the error:
Detail:Encountered "&FileNm" at line 28, column 26.
Was expecting:
My essbase variable is set to:
"e:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseServer\app\TMPGB\dataexportCustomerY2.txt"
in double quote
How anyone use in a Business rules with the command dataexport an essbase substitution variable

Just tried:

it worked with no issues.

Background Job Hanged but no work process assigned

Background job has hanged When i see in SM37. But no work process assigned to this job. All work process are waiting status.
What could be the reason. What is the resolution process.

How did you come to a conclusion that the bg job is hangend.
What is the status of the job. ? I guess Job defined, but not yet eligible to run even if the start condition has been fulfilled so it should be in Scheduled status.

Calc defined in Web Analysis not working properly with substitution vars

Hi all,
Most likely many of you have already faced this, and I would appreciate any guidance. Most likely is a rookie mistake.
1.- We have a couple of substitution variables in Essbase, CurrYear and PrevYear
2.- We can see those substitution variables perfectly in Web Analaysis, when designing the report ($CurrYear and $PrevYear) for the Years dimension
3.- We use this susbtitution variables into a calculation defined in Analysis Tool (i.e $CurrYear:Actual / $PrevYear:Actual) where 'Actual' is the value for scenario.
4.- The value of the substitution variables is changed in essbase (i.e. CurrYear equals FY10 and Prev Year equals FY09) to update for the current year
5.- In the reports, whenever we use $CurrYear and $PrevYear, outside a calculation defined in analysis tools, it works properly
6.- However, the calculations defines as in (3.-) before, do not work. I get 'value not found'
7. If I 'refresh' the formula in the calculation, by editing it and taking out/reentering the operands again, it now works.
We have tried restarting Web Analysis services, but we still get the same behaviour
We have several of this calculations in about 15 reports, so, even while it is manegeable, the idea of using the substitution variables was to avoid this.
We are using Hyperion 9.3.1

Oracle support recommended that we apply patch 9.3.1.3, since they were unable to replicate in their environment with said version. After applying the patch, we still have the same problem, they are further investigating.

my problem is this:-
At the moment calls are leaving on the first available channel of my h323 voice gateway PRI, I can apply this command to the interface fine but it makes no difference the b cannels are always being picked on a first come first served basis . I have also tried combination "isdn bchan-number-order decending" and "isdn bchan-number-order descending round-robin" but it makes no difference , the first b channel is always selected .
Any ideas , if you think its a bug can u identify the bug id as I cannot find it .

I can see that you use ascending , that why you hit 1st channel.You have to choose one of these commands ascending or descending
I have a question here , for your incoming calls which channel hits ?.FYI isdn bchan-number-order descending is enable by default , so if you need to change you have to type ascending. Can you just share incoming calls which channel hits?.This is because before you define your outgoing calls , you have to check your service provider channel used, and this to avoid error channel is not available.

Purpose
Enables B channel selection for outgoing calls on a PRI interface (optional).

Do you mean you browse the FTP server in a tab? That usually works for anonymous FTP downloading, but if your server requires a login, it might not work well because Firefox doesn't do anything special to keep the session alive.
Would you consider using an add-on such as FireFTP? It's a traditional FTP client that runs in a tab.

Ftp:// URLs do now work in Safari

I can not get any ftp:// URLs to work in Safari. I sent in a bug report, but am hoping someone has a workaround for this.
This is the message I get if I try to download GSView from mirror.cs.wisc.edu using Safari:

FTP did not work for any of the Ghostscript mirrors that I tried, so I assumed it just did not work at all.
I confirmed that with a local FTP server that it works somewhat.
If you specify the full path to the directory you are interested in it gets there, however if you attempt to click down into a directory, it hangs and you get server connection interrupted windows popping up.
Also once you are there it gets server connection interrupted windows popping up randomly.

FTP has mysteriously stopped working

For some reason, FTP has suddenly stopped working on my MacBook Pro. I've tried with Cyberduck, Firefox and Camino. I've tried rebooting, and I've tried restarting the modem and router (a Time Capsule).
I know there's nothing wrong with the remote server, *because I can use FTP fine on my MacBook on the same wifi network.*
With Firefox I get the error:

This might be way off base but today I couldn't connect between my MacPro and my MacBook over my wireless home network. I checked under sharing on the MacBook and for some reason the AFP option under file sharing was off. I didn't turn it off. I assume SL helpfully did it for me. I've noticed a few weird things like that happening. There's an FTP option in the same area. Maybe check that out.

No sound when playing videos/youtube but speakers work. Mute is not on that I can see. Volume is maxed. Devices are enabled. Speakers tested. Have tried with and without headphones.
I tried to do a Driver Update but Toshiba Support doesnt recognize my model/serial numbers so I dont know what Driver to use.

CS6 FTP uploading does not work. Gives permissions error.

I cannot upload files using the CS6 FTP facility. It works the first time but then gives a file permissions error. I assume it thinks the files on the server are set to read only. I am not using the check in facility as it is only me using it. It works on the same pc with MX or FileZilla so must be a CS6 setup issue. Any ideas ?

Hmm, I've never run into that with DW's FTP (unless my permissions were messed up at the server level).

I am doing an onsite poc on customer site, and configuring and proxy service on OSB(11.1.1.5) using ftp , but it just not working, not picking files in the specified folder, no error message. seems it can connect and login, but just not picking the files, though I set the mask to *.*, poll interval 3 seconds. any tricky? someone can help?
I've read all the documents abt ftp transport, and I can configure file proxy, ftp business service successfully.

error will throw in log only if I set the wrong user/password.
seems it connected to the ftp server, but just not picking the files there. I don't know why. I doubted it's the problem of the path setting, but it's the same for phsical path and relative path. not working.

Since that password is tied to his Apple ID, you will need to contact Apple; as far as I know, it will be a somewhat lengthy procedure and you will need to furnish necessary paperwork (including a death certificate as far as I know). Best to either stop at an Apple store or call them to find out exactly what it is you need to do.
