Defining order statuses in OM11i

hi,
we r in 11.5.5 vis.where in apps have the order statuses(entered,booked,closed,cancelled etc)been defined?where to create a new order status?

Hi,
In 11i as you know, the entire OM is workflow enabled. You need to use workflow builder to create custom order statuses. If you have access to metalink, please refer the Oracle Whitepaper : "Using Workflow in Oracle Order Management" - Customising Order and Line Flows (Page 35). This is available under : Top 10 tech docs - OM Suite : Order Management - Functional Information - Workflow/Change Orders. Look for the link for the whitepaper.

  • Sales order status with down payment requests.

    Due to our requeriments, all the invoices created from a sales order has down payment request as billing category.
    The problem is that the sales order status continues as "Being processed" instead of completed.
    Is there any customising that makes the sales order status as completed when the down payment request is created for all the sales order value?

      this is the correct behaviour of the system: you have an item of 100; in the billing plan if you want to manage downpayment you will have, let's say two items:
    10 for the downpayment 
    100 for the final invoice.
    The system proposes the amount you defined for the downpayment and the total amount for the final invoice.
    Then you will have to bill the downpayment invoice, release it into accounting and clear it. If you will do this steps correctly, when you create the final invoice the system will show you:
    invoice amount 100
    advance payment -10
    net value = 90.

    Hi Everybody.
    There's no standard process code for LOIPRO Outbound Idocs.
    This Idocs are threated as master data info, and could only be automatically generated by Data Distribution Model.
    BD64.
    Anyway, you can define your own Outbound Process Code in WE41 using CLOI_MASTERIDOC_CREATE_LOIPRO FM.
    You can choose.

  • Sales order status to show as Complete only after PGI

    I have one requirement. Now currently in sales order status of the order is showing complete once the item being delivered.
    But our requirement is that, the status of the order should be shown complete only when PGI is done not after delivery.
    I would like to know if any exit or any other program will help us in finding this solution

    Sales order status depend on Item Category completion rule, please check on VOV7 for your sales order item category. In standard SAP, below rule can we define with item category:
    Not relevant for completion
    A
    Item is completed with the first reference
    B
    Item is completed after full quantity has been referenced
    C
    Item is completed after the target qty is fully referenced
    D
    Item is referenced via contract release
    E
    Item is completed after full target value is referenced

    If your procurement type for the material is X - Both Procurement typesin MRP2
    view,then after MRP run Planned orders are obtained,only these planned orders
    you can convert either to Production order or else Purchase Req.
    So check in MD04 or MD16 for all the planned orders.
    CO40 - Individual conversion of Planned order into Prod.Order.
    CO41 - Collective conversion of Planned order into Prod.Order.
    MD14 - Individual conversion of Planned order into Purchase Req.
    MD15 - collective conversion of Planned order into Purchase Req.

  • Reading order status from backend

    Hello,
    we're facing some issues with our WebService for a simple order status. It should be possible to get the status of more than 1 order, so the Export-DT should look something like this:

       <positions>

              <maktx="ProdName" />
          </pos>
       </positions>
    </order>

       <status>C</status>
       <positions>
          <pos nr="010">

              <maktx="ProdName" />
          </pos>
          <pos nr="020">
              <matnr="456" />
              <maktx="ProdName2" />
          </pos>
       </positions>
    </order>
    As you can see there are n>1 orders and n>=1 positions per order. So each position should be a nested table within the order table. But this is actually not allowed to be defined within an BAPI. We only can get the positions and orders in separate tables. Is there a possibilty to match this together?
    I hope I described it understandable and any help will be appriciated.

  • Function module for Process order status

    Hi techies,
    I want to know the function module for process order status , idoc type is liopro01 and message type is liopro, my requirement is that based on the different status received in IDoc SAP should update the process order status, separate user status will be defined as "MO START" and "MO end" using status profile.also it has change the process order status to "TECO" also it should check the user status for "MO Abort".

    You can maintain Object as per your business requirement
    1. Define object status profile click on details icon
    2. Define  status as per your requirement
    3. Select the status and click on object types icon
    4.Select the object type example sales order
    5.click on user status
    6. Select the status and click on details icon
    7. Click on new Entries icon
    8.Here the business transactions will appear depend upon the object which you selected
    9. Select Influence status radio button as per your status which is defined under status profile.
    Authorization object to release B _USERSTAT, the users who are not assigned to  this object in their profilles are not authorised to change the radio button from initial status radio button.

    I have tried to model the sales order status. when i compile the model, it shows "Required field "SALESDOCUMENT" is not assigned a value in call to "Sales order get status".
    can any one help me what could be the error? and how to resolve it?

    1. I am having one sales form (contain one input field and one push button) having one input and output port (output connect to BAPI input)
    2. BAPI_SALESORDER_GETSTATUS (has one input and output port, output port connect to Sales table input field)
    2a. BAPI has one input port field (SALEDOCUMENT NO, required field)
    2b. output port field i have defined 9 field out of 38
    my expectation was, when user click on push button in sales form after giving salesdocument no, the table should get populated.
    could you give the answer how to get the output?

    Hi, If you do GI or GR or Confirmation thru process messages, will the order status changes to GMPosted or CNF etc? If not how to change the ststus of the order to the same?

    Doing GR, GI or confirmation through PI will obviously change the status of order as it happens through normal transaction... the only difference is that we have changed the route of doing GR, GI or confirmation... Whaever Process messages u define in case of GR, GI or confirmation have a program in process message category which updates the tables which in turn changes the status of Order..

    I keep getting this.
