Delete entry in Transport request

Hi all,
I have created an Table in a package with a transport request number. I copied the table to other name and deleted the previous table. I am deleting the Emtry in the Transport Request. But it is showing error as OBJECT ENTRY EXISTS MORE THAN ONCE. SORT AND COMPRESS FIRST.
How to delete the Entry?

Hi Vishnu
Place ur cursor on the req no, go to rquest/task->object list->sort and compress, u can delete the entries after this. When there are two requests of the same name , the transport organizer asks u to sort and compress.

How to delete items in transport request. I have quite a lot data to be deleted.
I click on TR5001. Then click to drill down to Table contents
   C001
            Data A1
            Data A2
            Data B1
            Data B2
Placed my cursor on Data A1 and tried deleting Data A1 by clicking on the item and right click then select delete but not able to delete with message "Message no. TK705, A request, task or object could not be deleted because the cursor was not positioned correctly". .
Any clue to the error and any recommded solution?
I just need to transport Data A2, Data B1 & Data B2.

Is it possible to delete a released transport request

Hello
I wander is it possible to delete a released transport request. Is it possible to delete a transport request with released only an task

You can but you have to chnage status of the request:
Use transaction SE38 or SA38 and run program: RDDIT076
Set your request number and run the program
After request is shown double click on it
You should be able to change status from R to D
And now, you can delete the transport for example in transaction: SE10...

Problem while deleting objects in Transport request

Hi Guys,
I am working on some object .It has some tables ,RFC's etc
If I make changes to some of the objects the next day aging the same object is attached with the same name in the Transport Request.Also if i try to delete one out of it,I get the folllowing message & I am unable to delete it.Please guide on both.
Message: "Object entry exists more than once. Sort and compress first"
1. why same object gets attached to the request again?
2.How to delete the duplicates entries of the object

If more than one user has worked on the same object, then it would be included in the TR twice.
Right click & select SORT COMPRESS, then try to delete.

How to add function group entry in Transport request...

I had a function group in which I had 4 function modules. I deleted one of the FM and hence in my Transport request, its entry was included. Along with that the function group was also included.
I deleted that function group entry by mistake. Now I want to add back my function group into the transport. How do I do that ?

Please follow below steps:
1) Go to SE01
2) Click on create New workbench request and give desc once popup appears, Click Ok
3) Now open the trasport in edit mode
4) Add
Program ID - R3TR
Object Type - FUGR
Object name - Name of the Function group

How to delete objects in transport request

Hi,
I have several different questions in Transport requests and need advice:
1. I need to transport an Infoobject and I chose only necessary objects in grouping and I don't see any app components in the request before created, but in SE01, under the request id I see app components and infoareas listed. A bunch of them, which I don't need to transport. Why this happens?
2. I want to know if there is a way to delete all the app comps in one shot from the request before it is released?

U might have selected 'Collect automatically"
I suggest u, to delete complete request ( first unlock it in SE03... then delete it from SE09)
Recollect that InfoObject in a new request, by selecting only necessary object & Collect manually
In this way u will have less confusion

Include table entries into Transport Request manually @ SM31

Hi All,
I have an issues reg table maintenance at SM31.
We have a Z Table and I can add entries at SM31 to that table. But:
System has not asked Transport request while saving the data (after additions to the table)
Option to include in Transport Request manually is not available @ menu -> Edit -> Transport -> Include in request. Include in Request is not highlighted to select here.
Pls help me the process to add my table entries into a Transport Request.

Hi,
seems like your table is defined as Application table (master and transaction data).
Check SE11 to be sure
Database table: enter name > Display > Delivery & Maintenance
Delivery Class > is this A?
If so then there is no transport and it can be maintained in all systems.
You could try if required to create manual transport via SE01.
Programm ID: R3TR
Object: TDAT
Objectname: your table name

Hi,
Please check if your role is already locked under some Transport request. If so it wont pop up any TR.
If it is locked under some TR, make sure you detach it from the TR and try again it will pop up a TR screen

Hi Denis,
Take an approval to open the production system. While you delete the infoobject , it will ask for transport request to save under.

check this
1. Go to the table <b>E071K</b> in se16
2. give objectname as your table name
3. Get your table entry for which u want to get the transport request
4. get the combination of key fields contents for that entry
     For ex: if the entry is like : 011,2119,48.5,EUR
                 if first 2 fields are key fields then get <b>0112119</b>
5.entry this in the TABKEY field with * ( 0112119*)
6. then get the list...here u will get the transport request for your entry

Hi Shweta,
Generally for any query changes we create a transport request first and then record the changes in that trasport request. This is created in Transport Connection tab of RSA1 screen. There you need to provide the transport request number for BEx query changes and then save it. Afterwards whatever changes are done in the query gets recorded in that TR and finally we transport the TR.
Check if any transport request is already created for the Query changes in your system. If its there then just transport that request.

Deleting objects in transport request

Hello,
I made the changes in InfoCube in developer system and included those changes in a transport request. I didn't release this transport. Then I realized that those changes must be reverted.
I know what I have to do. First of all I need to change manually InfoCube and then remove objects from transport request.
I have doubt about deleting objects. In transport request there is a lot of object which Iu2019ve never changed such as InfoObjects and InfoArea.
Can I safely remove these objects? Why these objects are attached to my transport request?
I checked them and last change was made by another user.

Hi,
I don't think there is any version comparison available with target system like R/3 reports. You will manually have to compare the properties.
If you have lot of objects and do not want to loose any changes then you can even think of reverse transport from production system to development system for selected objects.
Now about locking the remaining objects you can open the TR through SE09 in change mode and then select the required items and from the tool bar you can directly lock all the items in single go.

Transport request containing deleted entries.

I am facing an issue regarding transport handling and TADIR.
Steps:
1. I create few objects which are added to a transport request.
2. Later I delete these objects.
3. I release the transport request. It works fine. The objects CAN be seen in the Transport request.
4. I create a new transport request and call the Function Module TRINT_COPY_COMM to copy the
old transport into the new one(All objects can be seen in this new transport request).
5. When I try to release the new transport request. I get an error.
The issue is that those entries which were deleted are now not existing in TADIR. Hence a lock on those entries could not be obtained and release fails. I am able to proceed by manually deleting these entries from the transport.
Let me know if there exists some function module
1. To copy the transport request into another but while copying it removes the deleted entries.
or
2. Some function module to find which objects from the transport request are TADIR relevant, then another one to check
if its in TADIR, and one to delete entries from transport request.

Hi,
It is not problem it normal behavior of TMS. It will not effect on any of but you should delete such type of object manually from request.
Goto transaction se01 and expand your request and delete object from the request which all ready deleted.
Then only you can release the request.

Log for Addition/Deletion of object in a Transport Request

Dear Friends,
Recently I had a issue where I tried deleting an object from a transport request and I got the message that object is deleted successfully.
But when the transport was imported then it failed with Sy-subrc 8 because of the same object in transport. The reason for the same could be :
1.) Either the object was not deleted from the transport request.
2.) Or Some one else added the same object again in the request.
I want to read the log of this transport in such a way that I see when a object has been added/deleted from a transport request along with SAP User ID of the person doing it.
Is this possible ? If so kindly share the steps with me.

I hope nothing of that sort is available as the transport requests will again have tasks under them.
The changes done to the task will have to be tracked in that case but SAP doesn't have that task change logging as far as I know.
All E0* tables relates to transports and objects under these transports none of them have logs on this nor even any transactions which allow user to edit the transport object.
You get an action log which provides who created it and who releaed them.
But if you configure CharM on Solution manager I hope you can track each changes.

Transport request deleted - how can I delete the link in CharM ticket?

yesterday, I manually deleted an empty transport request in the development system. Bad idea, I know, because now, I get errors in the CharM ticket, because it still has a link to the transport request, which has been deleted.
How can I get rid of the broken link in the CharM ticket?
