My CS4 won't work because Error: 150.30! Why?

I had to reinstall from a time machine backup. Now I get a message saying
"Licensing for this product has stopped working".
This product has encountered a problem which requires that you restart your computer before it can be launched.
If you continue to see the message after restarting your computer, please contact either your IT administrator (ME) or adobe
technical support for help. and mention the error code shown at the borrow of this screen.

Thanks. I purchased a Mac Mini and used a Super Duper Snow Leopard backup from my Macbook Pro to migrate to Moumtain Lion on the Mini.
Photoshop worked for a couple of months until I backed up using Time Machine. No Optical drive on Mini. Guess I better get one.

Re-install of Mountain Lion from Time Machine (BIG mistake) left me with PhotoShop and InDesign CS4 unusable. "License stopped working and Error 150:30" were the messages.
Went online, tried what worked for some people, i.e. deleting Flexnet from ~Library/Application Support and then putting Flexnet file in ~Library/Preferences. Still could not open PS & ID. Interesting that Bridge never had a problem and works fine.
I am out of USA and don't have my install disks but I do have serial number for CS4. Chat was ridiculous. Adobe is certainly wasting money on that outsourced non-help function which took 30 minutes of my time for nothing.
Is there any help for me besides waiting til I get back to USA to get my install disks?
I feel very angry at Adobe for having so little help for me. I've been using PhotoShop since the 80's on PCs and Macs. I wish there were some other program out there so I wouldn't have to deal with Adobe-Snobby who "got above their raisin's."
Oh, and by the way, just in case anyone from Adobe pays any attention to this, when you click "Close" from the Chat window like the intructions tell you, there is NO WAY to complain about "how Adobe is doing."

I fixed the problem myself by using some comments from the Creative Suites CS3 forum: however, with CS4, there is no Trusted Storage File, as it is named below. It is called Storage. And you have to delete the 2 .data files Preferences creates when you reboot.
Also the FLEXnet Publisher file should be in ~Library/Preferences NOT in ~Library/Application Support where I found mine.
Basically PS4 and ID4 would not work until after removing the Service file from FLEXnet Publisher then re-booting and repairing Disk Permissions. After deleting the 2 data files, I replaced the Service file in the FLEXnet folder and both PS4 and ID4 opened easily. Whew. It's been a long couple of days trying to figure this one out! The instructions below helped me figure it out.
Go to: Main HD > Library > Preferences > FLEXnet Publisher > FLEXnet folder (Mac OS) remove the Trusted Storage File (TSF) from the FLEXnet folder and drop it on your desktop.
Restart your Mac > run disk permissions repair (Applications > Utilities > Disk Repair) then launch InDesign - enter serial number - InDesign should now work (fingers crossed)
If all goes well trash the TSF - you won't need it anymore as a new one should have been created.

Why AdobePPro CS4 won't work properly with Win7 Ultimate OS

Can u please explain why Adobe PremierePro CS4 won'r work properly with Windows 7 Ultimate?? Is it because of a "bit" differences?? or for any other reason?? I have freezing problems on time line.. I am using Sony XD EX1 clips on the time line. Sometimes it works up to Dynamic LInk Encore and when it starts encoding, after few seconds it gives an error message "Encode failed" My computer config: WIN7 Ultimate/ Xeon 2.4 GHz, 12 GB RAM, Nvidia FX3800 Video card with 1GB RAM, C:\ 1TB SASHDD on RAID 5 system, D:\600 GB SAS HDD (not on RAID) Any thoughts to get it going? Yesterday I purchased a new MBPro 15" Retina display. I retrieved all my files from TimeCapsule and I have a separate login when working with these files. On this login, photoshop, illustrator and indesign from CS4 appear on the dock. But when I go to launch, I get this window: LICENSING FOR THIS PRODUCT HAS STOPPED WORKING. Error: 150:30. I figure I need to enter in my serial code but I don't know how to proceed. My CS4 from 2009 is an upgrade from my original 2004. So my questions are:
1. Can I enter in my serial number somehow to activate the software, or do I need to reinstall?
2. If I need a reinstall, do I have to start with the 04 version?

As you guessed yourself, you need to reinstall properly. Installing whatever older product you are referring to is not required, only installing CS4 and then inputting the serial numbers. the bad news however is, that CS4 itself may not be compatible with OSX 10.8.2/.3, so expect all sorts of problems...

There are in fact available IP address's within the dhcp scope. Before I dig to deep into root cause.. Could the problem be RDS CAL licensing running out, or isn't that not a symptom of my error message?

As per my research, there is no any issue related to RDS CAL licensing. Prior to the issue which you are facing, there are some basic setting which need to configure.
Application Compatibility – Turn on Remote Desktop IP virtualization
Some applications require a unique IP address, which is by default logically not the case if the application is running on RD Session Host. To solve this issue, Remote Desktop IP Virtualization is introduced. With this setting you enable the IP virtualization
feature. When enabling this setting you need to specify if the virtual IP is provided per session or per program. When using per program you need to define the executable to which an IP address should be configured. Desktop IP virtualization also needs the
configuration of the next setting.
Application Compatibility – Select the network adapter to be used for Remote Desktop IP Virtualization
When you need to use Remote Desktop IP virtualization configuring this setting is mandatory. You need to specify the IP address of the Network Interface Card which should be used for this feature. Besides the IP address you need also to specify the network
mask using the slash notation, for example 192.168.77.201/24.
Application Compatibility – Do not use Remote Desktop Session Host server IP address when virtual IP address is not available

You actually tried to install photoshop 5.5 and got the message about it being 16 bit?
(usually it's only the installer that is 16 bit and the actual program is 32 bit)
Photoshop 5.5 should work on windows 7 x64 if you don't have more than 1 TB of free space on your hard drive.
Your sure it's photoshop 5.5 and not an earlier photoshop version.
You might try copying the folder that says photoshop off the cd onto your hard drive and then running the Setup.exe
Anyway, check how much free space your hard drive has and if it's more than 1 TB, then no use trying to use photoshop 5.5 because it won't work.
(photoshop versions before photoshop cs can't see free space on hard drives if it's more than 1 TB and would give a scratch disk full message if you try to run them)

Have you run Software Update. You have Java already installed, but it needs to be updated.

I am running Dreamweaver CS4 on a MacBook Pro. After a Mac OSX update earlier today Dreamweaver keeps showing a licensing error 150:30 and the only solution on line is not suitable for OS 10.9.5. Any ideas?

The terminal app option worked but after a restart I got the error message again. It worked a second time but then another restart brought me back to the beginnin. Have repaired permissions and tried the other potential solutions. I only use DW CS4 once in a while but I'd love a permanent solution.
