Delete house banks, document types, posting keys, etc...
Hi Experts,
I have a some issues in my project:
Banks:
- the company created a lot of payment methods, i want to delete all and create only the neccesary. The question is if I don't have problems with links between information that already exist in the system.
- The house banks and bank determination have a similar problem, inneccesary or old data and create just the neccesary.
Document types and posting keys:
- Have a lot of inneccesary document types and posting keys, I just want to left the standard types for document and posting keys.
My problem is that SAP have data for the operations, the changes will be necessary for the 01.01.2010, so please tell me if i don't have problems if I delete the innecesary data and start in the begining of the year with this changes.

HI,
1. You can create required payment methods for your company code and delte all other payment methods and assign this new payment method in all your Vendor Master data in place of earlier payment methods.
Ensure that there should not be earlier payment methods in vendor master data.
2. By default standard SAP provided important Document types and Posting Keys. you can use existing Document Types and Posting Keys. or else you can create your own document types and posting keys. But better to use systemd defined existing Document types and Posting keys for good business practice.

Deleted standard SAP document types
Hello Gurus,
By mistake i have deleted standard SAP document types and the request also get released. I want to know what is the effect of such document types on system while using DMS?

Rollback option is ruled out since the request has already been released!! The immediate impact is that all the DIR's created so far using those deleted Document Types will not be available neither will the users be able to create new DIR's for those Document Types.
However,the assuring part is that if you re-create those Document Types again in SPRO using exactly the same parameters defined earlier,the system will make the DIR's created earlier available as well as permit creation of new ones using those Document Tyes.

Is there a report or t-code I can use if I want to get a total of all the transactions by document type, posting key, etc? I am trying to think back before my contract accounting days I thought it was a t-code like BDXX?

Posting Keys and Doc. Type
Hi experts.
I have created a new process in SD and when I post the account document the customer account has a credit, but should be debit.
I realized that there is in FI Posting Keys and Doc. Type, both FI objects and Document Type is used in Billing Type configuration.
But I don´t know where I link document type with Posting Keys, and I don´t know if this link exists.
If the link doesn´t exist, How Can I configure if the process will be a credit or a debit ?

RenatoHello, like document types, posting keys are defined at client level. For the Enjoy document entry functions you can check Incoming Invoices/Credit Memos - Enjoy --> Define Posting Key for Incoming Invoices/Credit Memos. Then check the G/L item in incoming invoice if :
Debit 40
Credit 50

Hello Experts,
We have an issue with the Object Cash Flow makes postings while the Partner.Rel. Cash Flow gives an error due to missing House Bank in the Posting Parameters on the contract.
Result is an double/tripple etc. booking on the Object Cash Flow which not is showing on the Flow Overview in the contract and no booking on the Partner.Rel. Cash Flow.
This goes on until the missing House Bank is corrected.
We want to know if we can block the Object Cash Flow making definitive postings until the original Partner.Rel. Cash Flow is posted.

You can think the 2-Type of posting procedure.
1. You just only manage 'Partner.Rel. Cash flow' of each condition & flow type.
In this cases, you do not configure "Distribution Formula" on the "Condition type" configuration.
(RECACUST>Conditions and Flows>Condition Types and Condition Groups)
2. You want to manage both of 'Partner.Rel. Cash flow' and 'Object Cash Flow'. but when you posting this cash flow, if you want to block the Object
Cash Flow making, you can use 'Enhancements' of the 'RECACUST>Accounting>Automatically Generated Accounting
Documents>Enhancements>Prevent Object Transfers' as below.
Prevent Object Transfers :
- You can use this BAdI if you want to suppress object transfers (transfer from the contract to assigned rental objects) during periodic posting.
- Implement the method SUPPRESS_TRANSFER_POSTING and set the parameter cf_suppress_transfer there to 'X'.

Standard PR Document Type Deleted by Mistake

By mistake i have deleted Purchase requisition document type NB and when a Transport Request is generated i saved it but it is not yet released..
now by anyway can it be retrieved back as original NB with out creating a new one manually....
thanks in advanceIn my opinion you should check which objects are in your transport - I mean maybe there are entries in dependent objects which have been deleted as well.
You should contact your your basis team to get access to client 000 and then whether you can create a transport for those entries and move it to the golden client by SCC1 or you can create the objects manually based on the config on client 000.
After that you should compare the settings between the clients (e.g. OY19).

Profit Center as mandatory field for Posting keys 01, 11, 31, etc.

Currently I am in a project in which we have implemente New GL; my client is asking me to activate the Profit Center field for posting keys 01, 11, 21 and 31, so they can post in example documents with posting key 31 (vendor) vs posting key 01 (client). I modified the accounts field status in order for the Profit Center to be mandatory. I modified, as well, posting keys 01, 11, 21 and 31 field status' in orden for the profit center to be mandatory as well. Regardless of this, the profit center just doesn't appear when I post a document in example through tx F-02.
Does anyone knows how to make this field appear for the posting keay I mentioned? Is it possible? or is this a system limitation?

Error in :Posting keys for account determination

please suggest the solution for the following problem.
we are selling two types of materials, one is the product material and the second one is the scrap material.Different type pricing procedures, sale order,delivery and billing types were configured for the same. For CST and VAT same condition type :"ZCST - for CST " and ZVAT - for VAT" were used in both pricing procedure and the standard account keys : MW1 for ZCST and MWS for ZVAT and same G/L accounts configured .
. key combination for the condition types as mentioned below:
. ZCST: Country/PlntRegion/Region/TaxCl2Cust/TaxCl.2Mat
ZVAT: Country/PlntRegion/Region/TaxCl1Cust/TaxCl.Mat
Now we want to capture CST and VAT seperately for both the materails.For that two new account keys created and incorporated the same in scrap pricing procedure and and new G/Ls created and assigned .Now the system is throwing following error while while releasing the billing document to accounting document.
Posting keys for account determination for transaction Z48 do not exist
Message no. F5598
here Z48 is the new accounting key created for the CST tax.We tried all the possibilities, but system is throwing the same error.

Now We want to maintain seperate condition types for VAT and CST for pricing procedure for Product material and Scrap material. I have created two new condition types for scrap sales ZSCT- cst for scrap and ZSVT-vat for scrap by copying the same from existing conditions ZCST & ZVAT, and the same is included in the scrap pricing procedure. And also maintained OB40,OBCN,OVK1,OVK3,OVK4, FTXP,FV11 and VK11.
now I am facing the following problems.
1. while creating the Material master & customer master, in tax category sub screen all conditions i.e. conditions defined for product material( ZCST,ZVAT) and defined for scrap material (ZSCT, ZSVT) displaying and these are compulsory fields.
2. While creating the sale order for scrap material, system is considering the TAX classes from ZVAT/ ZCST (defined for product material) and taking the condition value from the condition type ZSVT/ ZSCT with the TAX class values of ZVAT/ZCST.
Now I would like to know is there any procedure to assign the Material type and Customer group to Tax category.

Posting keys - G/L Accounts
Hello guys
I would require some info on:
Which are the posting keys (G/L's)that will hit on completion of the below given Processes
1. Subcontracting
2. Consignment
3. STO Inter company
4. STO Intra company
5. Third party Purchase
6. Standard Procurement
7. Service entry sheet
and any other proceeses left out.
It would be really helpful if someone can throw some light on this.

Posting key control the line item in a document sreen.
and also it control the A) A/c Type (A-assets, D-customer,
K-vendor and S-GL), B) Transaction Type and
C) Nature of Transactions (debit/credit). Go to tcode OB41 you are able to understand.
every PK have field status group that controls the document line item.
For Example:
PK 70 for Debit asset (because debit assets you can say it may be aquisition there differrent field have to maintain)
PK 31 credit vendor for invoice
PK 15 credit customer for payment
PK 40 debit GL
every posting key has differrent purpose.
A FICO consultant can identify the document from posting key itself
Customer (01 to 19)
Vendor (21-39)
GL (40&50)
Asset (70&75)

Posting Key in BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST
Hi,
I am using bapi 'BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST' to post 'Customer Document' in FB01. I was able to post the document but Posting Key in the document is not as desired. When I try to Post the document with out any Posting Key by default I am having Posting Key as '01'(Customer document) and '50'(GL account).
But I want bapi 'BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST' to post a document with Posting key '15'(Customer Document) and '40'(GL account).
In bapi I am using these tables along with header.
ACCOUNTGL- GL Account
ACCOUNTRECEIVABLE- Customer Document
I tried passing the posting key in ACCT_TYPE in table ACCOUNTGL and passing the the posting key using EXTENSION2 table but was not successful .
Can anyone let me know
How can I pass the Posting Key to the bapi 'BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST' for Customer Document and GL account?
OR
How can I use EXTENSION2 table to create an appropriate posting key?

Just follow these steps:
1. Fill in your EXTENSION table like this
first 3 character represent item number
next 2 character represent posting key
CLEAR: gt_extension.
gt_extension(3) = sy-index(3).
gt_extension+3(2) = 'New Posting Key'.
APPEND gt_extension.
2. Create an FM similar to SAMPLE_INTERFACE_RWBAPI01 and put the following codes:
IF NOT extension IS INITIAL.
LOOP AT extension.
READ TABLE it_accit WITH KEY posnr = extension(3).
IF sy-subrc IS INITIAL.
it_accit-bschl = extension+3(2).
MODIFY it_accit INDEX sy-tabix.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
ENDIF.

- Go to TCode "FIBF".
- Go to Settings -> Products -> ... of a customer
- Create a new entry and check the box to activate the product
Product = <any name>
Text = <description>
RFC = blank
Check the activation box
- Go to Settings -> Process Modules -> ... of a customer
- Create a new entry by specifying the name of the function module name and product name created earlier.
Process = RWBAPI01

F110 House Bank, F_BL_BANK
Hello Everyone,
In the automatic payment run (Tcode F110), I want to restrict the user based on House Bank (Payment Type).
Related to house bank, I found one object F_BL_BANK. I went in SU24, added this object and Check/Maintain but this object is not working/checking. I mean while payment run (Tcode F110), system does not check the object F_BL_BANK.
In standard SAP, Is there any way to restrict the user based on House Bank? other than abap authority check?
If there is any user exit for this tcode, how can I find out?

Changing PO Document type layout programatically

My requirement is to change the PO Document type layout programetically. We have customized the standard PO Print report and for that we have created one customized style sheet. We have done the same for 4 types of document types : standard, Contract etc. Now while moving our code into another instance we need to set out custom stylesheet template to the corresponding Document type. Any one have any idea how can we do that from backend? We don't want to update the standard tables as Oracle does not support it.
This is very urgent.
