Delete notification warning in notification

When a customer has a Contact Person, if I create a notification using this sold-to-party, and i don't enter a contact person (we don't use CP for notifications), this warning appears:
"Contact person not entered" (Message no. /DBM/CUSTOMER413)
How can I delete this warning.
Thnxs,
Gonzalo.

Dear,
the answer i need was:
Hi Gonzalo,
the warning message would appear when you have assigned to your customer master data a contact person CP in the partner function.
This is the DBM-standard. If you need a different procedure please copy
the DBM-function module /DBM/CU17_CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE into your own name
space and comment the line 95 (MESSAGE w413.)
if there are CPs at the customer but not in the notification ->
warning
MESSAGE w413.
Afterwards include in the user exit EXIT_SAPMIWO0_020 instead of the FM
/DBM/CU17_CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE your own function module (TCODE CMOD).
If you have further questions please let us know.
Thanks anyway!

  • Disabling "Item Deleted" notifications in Collab

Our users are loudly complaining about "Item Deleted" notifications coming through from Collab subscriptions.
I know there are templates for the emails, but even if I deleted the template I'm sure it would still trigger something (like a blank email).
Anyone know how I could go about changing things up to block those types of emails from all users? I'm assuming that is a PEI?

could you put an "unsubscribe" link right in teh collab email template? I think it woudl be possible to link directly to the "my subscriptions" link in the users My Account page.

  • Time Machine Deletion Notifications - or lack of?

    Hi,
I'm wondering if there is a way to get Time Machine to notify you before it deletes old backups to make room on the drive, because at the moment I get the notification saying they've been deleted and I can either use another drive or exclude more folders.
The only option I can find is to warn of deletion or not as opposed to the actual deletion in the first place.
    Or perhaps I'm missing something.

The wording "Warn when old backups are deleted" in the Option... listing window is as many of us know by now is quite ambiguous. One can interpret this as being warned BEFORE old backups are deleted or being warned AFTER the old backups have been deleted.
What most of us have seen is that the user is warned after TM has deleted the old backups. Some people have reported that they do get warned. During my beta testing of TM I saw both aspects.
I suspect Apple will be changing this, but this is my view only.
It does appear that Apple planned for this warning to be optional via the check box. I also believe Apple designed this user selectable option for those who care not about TM deleting old backups silently and those who want control over what will be deleted when TM finds insufficient free space on the TM backup device. It's not working this way so I would claim this is a software bug and should be forwarded as such to the Apple Feedback web site. I've already done this and other can if they see it as a bug.

  • Document delete notification

    Dear all,
I need your help with this requirement. We need to send email notification to the document author and administrator whenever a document is manually deleted from UCM.
What should be the approach to accomplish this functionality? We explored subscriptions but its limited to sending notifications only when a new revision of the subscribed content is checked in.
Your suggestions to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

You could write a custom filter that attaches to updateExtendedAttributes.
Documentation on the filter: Executed when revision information about a content item changes (check in, delete, update) right before the 'dRevRank' flag is calculated.
If you then check if the service called is DELETE (and there's no revision left), you could send an email in the custom Java code from there.
I don't know how you would be able to differentiate between a manual or automatic (which process initializes this?)...
For a complete list of filters, see the documentation in the [HowTo components sample|http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/content-management/ucm/samples/index.html]. There also documentation there on what filter are, how they work, and even an example on how to use them.

  • Lock screen issues when deleting notifications

I am having a recurring problem where the phone gets stuck when I try to delete a notification from the lock screen. When I swipe and hit Trash, the screen sends me to the password entry screen but every time I hit a button, the screen only bounces to the right then back. I have to double tap the keys quickly just to enter the code. Once this happens and I can unlock to Trash the notification, I then sometimes have the time/date on the lock screen disappear. I have to reboot to get it to work. It's happening on multiple devices, 5s, 5c, and iPad Air, all with iOS 8 (the phones on 8.1.1 and iPad on 8.1). I'm also having TouchID get stuck if it doesn't read after three attempts. Overall, the Lock Screen is pretty unreliable on iOS8.

sometimes seems like the effect may not auto-disappear, as it should. hopefully the "blur with no notifications" is NOT normal.
rebooting the iphone always works to remove the burred effect; and may fix this "glitch", if it IS a "glitch".
but, if your issue is only with notifications blurring the lockscreen, this seems fairly easy to fix, since you can set ALL of your apps to NOT display notifications on the lockscreen. If the iOS doesn't have to display info there, there is no need to blur the background.
you should note that there are things other than notifications that WILL blur the lockscreen; so when you say you're getting "blurring but no notifications"; then this could mean that the iOS is displaying some other info on the lockscreen.
Example: for me the blurred screen has to do with AUDIO PLAYBACK, which causes the iOS to display the "playback control buttons" on the lockscreen. When I PAUSE AUDIO, the blur clears up instantly. So, clearly, Apple designed the screen to work this way.
I will be checking to see if a way to remove the "audio controls" from the lockscreen. given new contol center (which I can access from the lockscreen), there is no longer any need for these controls to display on the lockscreen.
I will be trying to remove everything possible from displaying on the lockscreen, to at least minimize this effect. But think we all need to request that apple add an option to STOP the blur effect on the lockscreen.

  • App updates how to delete notifications

I am a Microsoft semi pro and have just become an apple iPad novice, so lots of questions....first I have downloaded a few apps and I am receiving update notifications for them. If I don't want to update I cannot delete the notification. I do not want to keep these in my apps update folder as I can see a red alert 1 circle on home screen. I am far too tidy to want that to stay. Please help

No you cannot delete the update notifications unless you delete the app. If you do not want to delete the app, you can move the App Store icon to another screen so that you don't see the notifications. But that may not be such a good idea because then you will have to check for notification for the apps that you do want to update.
In order to move an app - tap and hold down on the icon until it wiggles, then drag the app to the side of the screen and hold it about halfway over to the next screen for a second or two - and the app will jump to the next screen. Tap the home button when you are done.

  • Time Machine Oldest backups deleted without warning

I have about 350GB of data on my startup drive that is backed up by Time Machine onto another internal 1TB drive. My other internal and external drives are excluded.
I have just noticed that Time Machine shows my Oldest Backup to be 16th October 2008. When I go into the Options menu in Time Machine System Preferences it has 'Warn me when old backups are deleted' ticked. My backup drive has around 160GB free.
I have not been warned that Time Machine is deleting old backups. The ONLY warning it has given me is the occasional non-specific Time Machine error where it informs me that Time Machine was unable to complete the backup (not very useful) but when this happens it always carries on apparently successful on the next scheduled backup.
The only thing that I can think of to explain this situation is that on the 16th October I replaced one of my excluded hard drives with another. As soon as I had the opportunity I excluded the new drive from Time Machine - but as I used the Disk Utility restore feature, there was inevitably a short time when a new drive full of data was present and wasn't excluded (around 1TB of content on a 1.5TB drive).
If this drive replacement, and Time Machine suddenly thinking it needed to backup that new content caused it to suddenly delete old backups, then 1) why didn't it warn me, and 2) what is the correct protocol for excluding a drive that has just been restored (ie. cloned). Should I be turning Time Machine off before performing such a function?

because TM is buggy. it's supposed to warn you in a situation like that but it often doesn't.
and 2) what is the correct protocol for excluding a drive that has just been restored (ie. cloned).
You can either turn off TM before restoring or exclude the drive before starting the cloning procedure. when a new drive is attached TM waits for 2 minutes and then tries to back it up. in that 2 minutes period you can add the drive to the exclusion list.
Should I be turning Time Machine off before performing such a function?

  • How to remove the delete photo warning?

    Hello all,
I'm purging my library in order to upload everything to iCloud photo library. Getting warned overtime I delete a photo is really annoying. Is there a setting that stops this?
    thanks!

Is there a setting that stops this?
    No.

  • Reset delete playlist warning

ok, ive searched for topics regarding this with no luck.
ive turned off the warning dialouge that pops up when i first deleted a playlist a while back. how do i reset that warning to pop up again. im having serious problems accidently deleting heaps of my playlists.
    thanks

absolutelly the same thing is happening to me, and it seems like the reset warnings option is missing in iTunes 7...
In order to reset these warnings you have to manually hack into the program, which is not the greatest solution, but the only one I've found so far...

  • Delete Confirmation Warning.  I want back.

When I use to push delete a photo it would give me a warning saying are you sure you want to delete. There was a check box that said "Dont ask again" I checked it. after a few mess ups I want the warning back. How do I get it to warn me again????

    It is not outdated.
iPhoto is still storing this flag as the  "DontAskAboutDeleteConfirmation" key in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iPhoto.plist
Deleting or editing this file will bring the prompt back.
But in the newer McOS X versions (since MacOS X 10.7.) are two things different:
The user library hidden by default, so it is not so easy to access the preferences files in the library
And after changing the preferences a restart is required, because of the changes in the process system. Otherwise deleting preferences files may not have any effect.
Either reveal the hidden user library:
To open the hidden User Library:
    Use the Finder's "Go" menu.
Click "Go", then hold down the options key, until you are seeing "Library" in the drop down menu appear and click it.
In the Finder window that will open navigate to the folders  "Preferences".
Quit iPhoto. Remove ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iPhoto.plist .  Restart your Mac.
Or use an editor to change the preference.  Download and install Pref Setter from this link:
    http://www.nightproductions.net/prefsetter.html
Move it to the Applications folder, select it, and ctrl-click it. Select "Open".
Type "iPhoto" into the search field and search for com.apple.iPhoto.plist
In the editor pane enter "delete" into the search field and search the entry "DontAskAboutDeleteConfirmation"
change the flag to "false" or "NO"
    Save the file.
    Restart your Mac.
