Actually
Even, you delete the data.....
it will not completely deleted but, it is marked for deletion.
there is a certain period to delete that,( Archiving Process)
after that period only, BASIS people will delete it
so contact ur BASIS Guys........

Hi Planung,
For deletion of data SARA transaction is used. Also deletion indicator is required to set for the documents which you are not using. Use the bapi BAPI_DOCUMENT_DELETE for deleting the documents which are set with deletion indicator.

To delete the documents physically from the database, you must run the MCDOKDEL program using the ABAP/4 editor.
This program deletes all documents of a selected document type for which Deletion Indicator is set.
Program for Deleting Documents with Deletion Indicator
Description
With this report (program), you delete all the flagged documents of a selected document type from the data bank. The documents are not archived before they are deleted.
The report allows you to execute a test run. You should start this test run first of all and check the list of documents if necessary.
Requirements
Only those documents that have a deletion flag are deleted.
Documents are not deleted if they fit into the following categories:
Quality assurance agreement or technical terms of delivery
Production resource/tool in work order or routing
Document item in BOM
Output
As a result you receive a list that is divided into two parts:
Part 1: Undeleted documents
This is a list of those documents that cannot be deleted due to their usage.
Part 2: Deleted documents
This is a list of the documents that have been deleted.
These documents have been deleted from the data bank without having been archived.
Note:
If you set the indicator for test mode on the entry screen of the report, then both of these parts of the list will have the heading Test Mode.

Deleting query in production server

Hi,
Some of the duplicate queries are deleted in Development server, which are not transported to other servers by some mistakes.
Now we need to delete those duplicate queries in production server.
Plsease suggest immediately.

Team calendar My trainings not showing any DATA on Production Server

We are facing very critical issue on Production Server.
We have two Id's for which Team calendar, My trainings is not showing any DATA .
We observed that this is happening to both the users who had MSS role previously..
now for your information we have check the following things already .
1. RFC PT_ARQ_TEAMCALE_GET is showing DATA correctly .
2. The authorization. Is correct..
3. We got help from SAP..But not solved problem.
Here we copied same data in the Quality system and the Team calendar, My trainings working fine ..
I donu2019t know why Team calendar, My trainings is not showing any data in the Production system

the #group of organizational views# MSS_LTV_EE is maintained
for the Team Calendar and MSS_LEA_EE for the request mode.
Check the IMG step

-> Organizational Structure Views -> Group Organizational Structure vieMSS_LTV_EE (Team: Employee selection): the two organizational
views MSS_LTV_EE_ALL and MSS_LTV_EE_DIR are assigned.

Who has deleted data from Windows Server

Somebody has deleted some files from windows server's physical drive from windows XP user machine. This allegation has been made by IT team to a very sincere employee of the company who is working from last 15 years with the firm. So, can you please help

Are there any self-service tools that enable business users to insert, update, and delete data in SQL Server without using SSMS?

Our IT department spends way too much time maintaining simple reference tables that could easily be maintained by business users, if they had some simple tools that gave them limited access to only the tables they need. Looking for something other
than SSMS or MS Access. These are not tech-savvy users. They dabble in Excel and Access, and they know their data pretty well, but wouldn't be comfortable with SQL. Generally the data would initially be in Excel (but not always).

Create a separate FileGroup on your UAT/pre-prod environment for those Business Users and allocate limited space for them to read/write data here. I expect they create their own reference tables here which are small enough in size. SQL Server does not have
concept of Quota like Oracle has, so you need to tie back FG with Data Steward user groups using separate mechanism to make sure they have limited rights here.
As IT - you verify business changes every sprint and push them to Production.

Error while exporting data from sql server to excel

Hi,
I am trying to export data from sql server to excel.
The query that I used is s follows
INSERT INTO OPENROWSET( 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0', 'Excel 8.0;Database=C:\Folder1\abc.xls','select * from [Sheet1$A1:IV65000]')

column1,column2.... from Table1
I get the following error message while doing so..
String or binary data would be truncated.
The statement has been terminated.
One of the column's holds data more than 225 characters.
What is the way to correct this, i want the whole data of the colum in the excel sheet.

I haven't had great luck with the INSERT INTO OPENROWSET method. Can you try one of the many samples from one of these 3 links?

Cheque Printing using SAPScript with TCODE FBZ5.
I had a problem with cheque printing in production Server. TCODE - FBZ5
It is working fine in Development Server with proper alligned data but not coming alligned data in production server. I compared, dubugged and checked the allignment...there is no difference I found.
Could you please let me know, where the problem is occuring.
The amount is not coming properly and coming out of the box.....but it is coming properly in development server.

For Amount field you must print like &amount(C)&. And it must be printer settings only. Because i gor same like this error while printing cheque. at that time Basis team had made the changes in printer settings.

Exporting Data from one Server to Another server w/ Version Enabled Tables

Hi,
I'm currently having a problem with regards to Exporting data to another server. This is the Scenario:
Source Server is Production Server with all of its Tables in the Schema are Version-Enabled.
Destination Server is a Test Server.
I exported data from Production Server using EXP command. Then in my Test Server I imported my data using IMP command (I already created tablespace and user for the Schema).
Import is successful in my Test server but when I execute my queries, There are no rows returned.
I checked my _LT tables and it contains my data. but when I query from the View created when version was enabled, no result is returned.
Am I missing something when I exported and imported my Schema? Should I have included the WMSYS schema when I created the .dump file?

we tried using Export and Import using Data Pump.
expdp system/password@orcl full=y directory=dmpdir2 dumpfile=FULL_DB.dmp
impdp system/password@orcl full=y table_exists_action=truncate directory=dmpdir2 dumpfile=FULL_DB.dmp
Still the same result as using exp and imp. _LT tables have data but when you query using the View, no results are found.
