Deleting DC and Activities

Dear All,
I have a requirement to delete some of the DC's in a track. For this i m planning to do it so by using the DCTool command line. I read the documents for the same and have the materials for the list of commands and their usage.
As first step i had to load the development configuration in the DCtool. For this i m using the command...
loadconfig -u username -p password -r C:\temp\.dtc\.condef -c C:\temp\.dtr
but it says it cannot load the DTR client for the given .dtc configuration file. Is the command usage correct?
My Second question - How to use the delete command for deleting the activities that are closed and existing in the Activation View of the NWDS using the DTR command line tool?

First, I used your path as an example.
My real path is different. Here are the actual command lines I used for my machine (except the myUserID). Both command lines below work for me:
loadconfig -u myUserID -r "E:\dtc\1" -c "C:\Users\\myUserID\\.dtr"
loadconfig -u myUserID -r "E:\\dtc\\1" -c "C:\Users\\myUserID\\.dtr"
I just realized my previous reply did not show the double back slashes.. Hopefully it shows this time.
Second, I do have file E:\dtc\2\.condef

Thank you , but the "Trash Can" in the WebUI is still accessible , the user gets an error log , but is asking from the "Trash Can" to be grayed out . Can we do that ? I was looking at Authorization Object UIU_COMP , but could not find a related activity .

Relationship between the system status in wbs elements and activities.
We have the following requeriment with the system status in PS. We have a project with complete technically status and we want to undo the complete technically status in one activity without changing the complete technically status in the WBS element or the project.
The reason is that after putting the complete technically status, users have to change the values in the P.O. We don´t want "open" all the project and we only need to "open" the activity where the P.O. are in.
Is that possible? How is connected the system status between activities, wbs elements and the project son I can change the status in the below step without changing the higher steps?

Yes, you have put it rather correctly.
We use WBS elements for booking and posting time (client requirement). So what I am looking for is WBS Elements with the system status TERL (Time and Expense Released).
I talked of the deletion flag also, because a WBS element flagged for deletion can't be used. It's one of the criteria to screen the WBS elements.

Deletion of network activities

Hi Gurus,
I am facing this problem here, where the client has created a project and released the same.
Now they want to delete certain activity elements, activities, networks & WBSE.
We are able to delete the activity elements, activities and Network, but not WBSE as there are POs created for that WBSE.
To delete the networks, the bottom up approach was followed, ie. first we deleted the activity elements, then the activity and then set the status for networks as TECO, and set the deletion flag.
Now the networks and activities are gone, but the costs still exist in the project. How to
update the costs and remove the costs for the activities that have been deleted.
Pls guide.

First reverse the GR document if you posted aganist the PO, then you delete the PO item and then PR.Then you try to delete the 3 level WBSE. For deleting 2 level WBSE first you need to remove the budget from CJ30 and the reset the status using OPSX t .code. Then remove the IM assignment from the 2 level WBSE and delete the WBSE and Project definition.

CJ20n - No authorization to display network and activities

Hi Gurus,
I am facing an authorization issue with network and activities.
When a network was called in transaction in CN23, it looks okay and displayed network and activities accurately.
When I opened the PROJECT in CJ20N and expand it to reach that network and activity. There network and activities are apprearing in RED, means I am not authorized to view them. Where as when I opened the WBS element in CJ20n to which Network and activites are linked, there again I found everything looks Okay.
So the problem only occurs when I am trying to expand project structure through project definition. In this case all networks and activities with in the project are appearing in Red color(no authorization).
Does anyone has ever come across this situation? Please share your thoughts ?

This eror is related to ACL in network profile.
Please check that "No ACL" is selected in network profile configuration. If yes, you can execute transaction CNACLD- Delete Access Control List entry to see if any user id is set up for ACL for the project or network. If so, select all and delete them.
It should work with this solution.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

If it the delete menu item is greyed out, then you likely do not have write permission for the file/folder/or drive the stuff is stored on?

HT6030 Having major Mail problems since I updated Maverick on my 27" iMac. Delays deleting emails and moving emails to other folders. Anyone else having this issue? If so, any known fixes?

I have an iMac that around 3 years old. Just installed Mavericks when it first was released. I also have a Time Capsule (2TB) that runs my network to my other three Apple devices: iPad2, iPhone 5s and a new Apple TV. Having major Mail issues here. Everything is very delayed and extremely slow. Moving emails to other folders sometimes takes a few minutes and the same goes for deleting emails. Delete them and they don't go into the trash for several minutes. It's getting very frustrating to say the least. Mail also quits very often. Mail also will freeze with the little color ball spinning, therefore I would have to force quit Mail. When the errors occur, it's automatically sent to Apple but there hasn't been an update since 10.9.1 that has fixed it. Apparently, that update was only for gmail issues. Anyone having the same problem? Fixes please?

I have my entire network and all Apple devices setup as IMAP, not POP. If your settings are setup as a POP account on all devices, emails will not erase when deleted on your other devices. Just something to keep in mind. I'm sure you're aware of this but just wanted to throw it out there. Google IMAP vs POP. However, it seems like your having the same issues as I am. I'm going to swing by an Apple store by me and speak to the genius bar and see if they can come up with something or are aware of this issue. Keep you posted.

This article explains ways to reduce your iCloud storage: Managing your iCloud storage. In addition to what's mentioned in the article, if you have lots of photos and videos attached to your text messages, these are all included in your iCloud backup and deleting them can sometimes significantly reduce the size of your backup.
If worse comes to worse, back up your phone to your computer rather than iCloud. To do this, connect it to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Back Up and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This can be used to restore your data when you get your phone back. As Carolyn said, you'll need to have space on your device. If you want to see how space is being used up by what applications you can follow Carolyn's advice: Tap Settings > General > About
One option is to delete some old applications.
Another options is to temporarily remove your music.
Another option is to transfer some photos to your computer to make space. To do this, open iPhoto and click "import photos. Just be sure to check the option "Delete items from camera after downloading" or you won't actually delete anything and won't make any space!

I tried to make another account on my school Macbook Pro, made the Admin, account with the same name as the one I was using, deleted it and then all my desktop data is gone.

So, the problem is,

Then I do it, it takes me to the new User. That's not what I want so I shut down, then made an account with the same name as my current account (let's call it Y). Then I delete Y on purpose. I deleted it because I didn't want my school to know I had this account. Realise I wanted it again so I made an account, let's call it X then when I have X I deleted Y. Then I realised my AirDrop name said X so then I made a new account, this time let's call it Z, with Z I delete X and then I deleted Z because I don't want my school to know I have Z but then Z is also the same name as my main/current account. Somehow or something I delete my current account leaving me with Z. Now I can see my account and stuff but don't know how to restore it.

I had this same issue and got it resolved very simply when I contacted Apple SUpport
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and sign into your infomation
> Go to Manage apple id and primary email address
> Change it to the old apple id that your device is asking for
> Save changes
> Go to Settings > iCloud and sign out of the infomation
> Go back to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
> Change it back to the correct apple id
> Go to the email address adn reverify the apple id
> Sign back into iCloud on your device
