Deleting entire site from Database
Hi Everyone,
In SAP ME 4.2, how to delete the site and its entire related information from database.
And how to fetch the entire information of site from Database.

There is no tool or utility to do this in base. Typically the consultants have methods of doing this at the database level. The site can be deleted or extracted to an external file in this manner.

hI,
Iam pasting my code below.My problem isi retrieve rows from database and display them in jsp page in rows.For each row there is delete hyperlink.Now when i click that link i should only delete the row corresponding to that delete link temporarily but it should not delete the row from database now.It should only delete the row from database when i click the save button.How can i do this can any one give some code.

</html>You mean when you click on the hyperlink you want that row to disappear from the page, but not delete the row from the database until a commit/submit button is pressed?
Personally, I think I'd prefer that you have a delete checkbox next to every row and NOT remove them from the display if I was a user. You give your users a chance to change their mind about their choice, and when they're done they can see exactly which rows will be deleted before they commit.
You know your problem, of course, so you might have a good reason for designing it this way. But I'd prefer not removing them from the display. JMO - MOD -
Just to be on the safe side: if I want to delete one site from my MobileMe, then I have to delete the site from my iWeb AND delete it from my iDisk, right?
Anything else to think of so this won't endanger any existing remaining sites?The main place that you need to delete the site from is your iDisk, as this is the published site, so if you don't want it any more then go and delete from iDisk first.
You can also delete it from your domain file if you wish, but it does not matter if you keep it as it is not published in the same way as it is to your iDisk. -
Use Preparedstatement to delete several rows from database
Hello everyone,
I am trying to delete multiple rows from database at one time using Preparedstatement.
It works well when I tried in SQL directly,the sql query is as follows:
delete from planners_offices where planner ='somename' and office in ( 'officeone', 'officetwo', 'officethree')
I want to delete those 3 rows at one time.
But when I am using preparedstatement to implement this function, it does not work. It did not throw any exception, but just does not work for me, the updated rows value always returns "0".
Here is my simplified code:

I tried only delete one record at one time, "ps.setString(2, "officeone");", it works fine.
I am guessing the second value I want to bind to the preparedstatement is not right, I tried several formats of that string, it does not work either.

Rachelthe setString function in a preparedStatement doesn't just do a replace with the question mark. It is doing some internal mumbojumbo(technical term) to assign your variable to the ?.
If you are looking to do your statement, then you will need to put in the correct of # of question marks as you need for the in clause.

If you need to allow for one or more parameters in your in clause, then you will need to build your SQL dynamically before creating your prepared statement.

How can I delete previous sites from my hard disc?
I am working my way through Adobe Muse - Classroom in a book.
I recently asked the forum about an unlabeled 'preparation page' and finally located it at the end of the folder of lessons. My thanks for that assistance.
I have now got as far as Lightbox and Widgets. Now I would like to wipe the board clean and start afresh.
Either because of differences between the book or updates to Muse and my Welcome dialogue box has eight attempts that I would like to remove.
How do I remove / delete previous sites from the Welcome dialogue box or should that read Hard Disc?

I'm sorry but that trick doesn't work on my copy of Muse. If I click on
any of the files names on the welcome window it opens as a Muse file and
if I right click nothing happens at all. My Muse is up to date as I get
it from Adobe Cloud/./Adobe Air has just now updated/.

The history option is the little clock icon at the bottom of the Bookmarks menu - the icon in the center between the open book and the eye glasses icons. You don't have that? Try closing Safari and see if the history option comes back
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You can also clear the history in Settings>Safari>Clear History. -
How to delete a row from database table in facade client
Hi all,
I followed the tutorial in creating a persistence entity from database table, then a session facade. Then I followed the tutorial to create a sample client to test the model. In the session facade, I could use persistEntity method to insert a record to the database. I am just thinking of an extension to the tutorial, i.e., being able to delete the record too. So I created a new method removeEntity in the session facade

Deleting iweb site from mobileme
I have moved my web site to a new hosting service. All OK.
However, I realise now that I did things in the wrong order really. I wanted to leave a stub on the old MobileMe site redirecting my audience. I did this by deleting my website from MobileMe on my iDisk (I stupidly did not delete the index.html file - but have realised my error and redeleted my 'new' stub website and the index.html file and then republished. Even though I gave the site the same name as my old site MobileMe has insisted on changing it by taking off the last letter and adding _1, so that when anyone tries to visit the old site they just get a whole lot of stuff from MobileMe which is not useful.
I realise now I should first have duplicated my site - given the duplicate a new name and published this to the new host, deleted all the pages from my original website except the new Home page, and republished this to MobileMe. Alas I did not do this. Is there any way of getting my 'new' marker website to publish to the original MobileMe address?
I guess it's no big deal really. Mine is not a major website - it's just a family history website (now at www.dearmanmollett.id.au - originally http://web.me.com/dearmanmollett/Dearman_Mollett_Family ( think)) After all MobileMe will make it all disappear anyway on June 30 I assume - but I would really like to delete all trace of the former website except for a marker site redirecting traffic.
Hoping at the very least that my problem will help others.You could replace the first page of the old site on MMe with a blank one containing an HTML snippet with the following code:

Urgent help - I've deleted entire site
Hello - I have two sites and wanted to separate them - I have duplicated domain file three times to be save and deleted one site - could see it had gone but existed on the copy so then deleted the other (my main site) but instead of it deleting on just the one file it deleted on all three copies - I now have the smaller site but not my main site (over 250 pages!!!). is there any way I can get it back? Is there any way I can download it from the ftp and reimport it?

From a backup copy you hopefully made of the iWeb Domain file. If you don't have a copy you've deliberately made, you could try searching anyway for a file ending ".site".

Only iWeb's Domain file can be opened in iWeb. See this Apple doc on How to back up MobileMe data. It says:
Any websites you have published with iWeb should still be available within iWeb. iWeb stores everything in a Domain file, normally located in the ~/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder (although it can be moved). If you no longer have this file, you can view your currently published pages and manually recreate them within iWeb, but there is no way to import published pages back into iWeb. You can manually back up the Domain file, or use Backup to back it up.
Paragraph 2.3 of this FAQ page gives some tips on how to use published files, graphics, photos, etc., to help rebuild the site from scratch:

Help I deleted my site from iweb
I was working on a new site and deleted my other site from iweb hoping I could find it again, is there any way to recover this site?
Not unless you have a backup of your Users folder.
If you publish to .mac, DON'T publish your new site until you have copied the folders in the Web>Sites>iWeb folder in your iDisk to another location. Publishing your new site will delete your previous site from your iDisk.
Once you have done this, you can move the folder for your first site to the Sites folder in your iDisk, and will be accessible through home page until you can rebuild the site. (If you can/want to do this, feel free to post back for more detailed instructions) -
I changed a password, so I went to tools and deleted the password from saved passwords. Now Firefox won't remember this password for the site.
