Deleting table row when OnLeadSelection = none

Hello experts.
I have a table with some columns (Textviews and InputFields) and a Delete button.
One of the requirements is that the LeadSelection will be set to None, which means that the user will set the cursor on one of the InputFields and by pressing the button the row will be deleted, and (of course) it means that i have no lead selection to work with.
How can i do that? i know that in WD4J it can be done.

Hi Sureshkumar,
1. Create a value attribute named <b>select</b> of type boolean.
2. Bind the <b>checked property</b> of all the checkboxes to this attribute.
3. Create an action called <b>click</b> and bind it to <b>OnAction</b> event of the button(whose click will check all the checkboxes) and write this code in that action.

Issues in Deleting table rows

Hi all,
After deleting any rows/row in the WebDynpro table it is showing one blank row showing the presence of row there already. This blank row is appearing when we add new row next time. I don't want to appear this blank line after deleting the row. I Used
wdContext.nodename().removeElement();
removeElement() to delete the row.
Is there any other possibilities to avoid this.
Plz let me know.

WebDynpro : Delete Table Row

HI All,
Im developing a webdynpro application in which I have a table in which the data is fetched form the backend (Function module) and displayed.
The Function Module takes in paramaters:
1, Case_ID (for identifying wether to delete, insert or update a record)
2. EMP ID
3. First name
4. Lastname
5 Gender
and returns the following :
1. EMP ID
2. First name
3. Lastname
4 Gender
I have been able to insert the data in the table, now my requirement is that I should be able to select a row from the table and on click of the delete button, that row should get deleted.
Simple.
Please suggest how to work !!

Consider you table node is DataNode. Then u get your current selected row as follows:
wdContext.currentDataNodeElement().getLeadSelection().getEmpID() to get empid.

Deleting a row from parent table

Dear Guru's
I am having two table with parent - child relationship. My problem is when I am deleting a row from parent table the curresponding child row from child table also should be deleted.
My Primary table 'Employee, EMPID Primary key
Child table 'Privilage' inthis EMPID referencing the EMPID of Employee table
My need is when I am deleting a row from parent table the curresponding child row from child table also should be deleted
I issued the SQL query like,
delete from employee where empid='12345' cascade constraints;
Then it showing me error like,
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended
Please resolve my issue , Its Top urgent

How to access Table rows in ADOBE form

Hello Experts,
I want to access the Table rows which are getting populated by WDA context, in form JavaScript when the table is populated.
on the basis of few cell values i want to disable and enable particular cells in table rows when the table is rendered to the user.
Please provide your inputs and suggestion on how to write a java script for it and in which event i should write the script.
i searched SDN and found couple of blogs and threads and tried using them but not working.

Table Rows with Multiple Conditions Not Showing Up in RH

Hi everyone,
I'm currently evaluating TCS2 (Framemaker 9 and RoboHelp 8 on Windows XP) and have come across the following issue:
One of our FrameMaker source files contains a table in which one of the rows has multiple conditions applied. When one of the conditions is shown in Framemaker, and the others are hidden, the row is displayed in Framemaker as expected. However, when the file is then imported or linked into Robohelp, the same table row vanishes, even though the Apply FrameMaker Conditional Text Build Expression check box is selected in the Framemaker Conversion Settings > Other Settings screen. This only appears to affect table rows - when paragraph text is tagged with the same conditions, it is imported correctly into RoboHelp.
For example, when Condition B is shown and Condition A is hidden in the Framemaker file, the content appears like this in Frame:

It just seems that the items I select as align to top in the
property inspector should force the items to the top of their
cells, unless I'm missing something.

What happens when the row selection of a table is set as 'none'?

I have a page, with a Search box, Departments and Employees tables. The user will enter a departmentId and click on Search button. Departments will be displayed. The departmentId column in Departments table is surrounded with a link. So when the user will click on the link, the desired employees will be displayed in the Employees table, if there is a view link between the VOs.
Now suppose I have removed the view link. And the row selection of the Departments table is set as 'none'. So is it possible to get the desired employees of the chosen departmentId in this scenario, as because row selection has been disabled in the Departments table?
I also dont want to use the Set Property Listener in this use case.

Hi when i delete a tablerowgroup it is deleted in table component but when i check this in my Database it is presented. I am just not getting whats happening there.

Problem of deletion of rows in jtable, table refreshing too

Hi,
I have a table with empty rows in the beginning with some custom properties( columns have fixed width...), later user would be adding to the rows to this table and can delete, I've a problem while deleting the rows from table,
When a selected row is deleted the model is also deleting the data but the table(view) is not refreshed.
Actually i'm selecting a cell of a row, then hitting the delete button.
So the model is deleting the information, but i'm not able to c the fresh data in table( especially when the last cell of last row is selectd and hit the delete button, i am getting lots of exception)

Hi,
I've got the solution for it. As when the cursor is in cell of
a row and hit the delete button, the data in that cell is not saved,
So i'm trying to save the data first into the model then firing the action event by doing this ..

I want to delete the row after the display of table control. I have created push button as delete row. If I click on this push button, the selected row should get deleted.
I have written this code,

But I'm unable to delete the selected rows, It is getting deleted the last rows eventhough I select the other row.

How to delete empty row without validation error in ADF Table(EMP)

Hi Everyone,
I am using EMP Table in ADF jspx page to insert the data into database.when i insert a row into table by createInsert operation,it inserting the row.But I need to delete that row immediately with out entering any value.
But it showing some validation error at empno.Is there any ways to delete the empty row?if not,what are the reasons that we can't delete the row.
could any one tell me the reasons!!

Amar,
I am little confused with your logic here.....
but if you are trying to remove the row by clicking Remove button, you can set the immediate property to true and that remove function will run without executing any entity validation.......

How to delete the row from the ADF table using popup box

I have one requirement like need to delete a record from the table, but that time need to show one popup window for confirmation of the deletion. I am using Delete buttom from the vo operations. I am able to delete the row with out popup but when i used the popup that time deletion is not happening.

Hi,
I'm unable to delete a row in table control.
I have defined a selection column for my table control but it is not getting value 'X' when i'm selecting a row for deletion.
Also, when I press enter, some of the columns in table control are getting initialized. I'm passing these values to the internal table along with other columns.
Please help.
