Delivery - Sales Order executes formatted search

Hi
Found a very strange behaviour of B1:
When making a new Delivery, which contains a formatted search in the lines, based on an sales order the value of the delivery  (position) gets newly calculated -> the formatted search gets executed!. This is imho very very strange because when referencing an order i want the value SIMPLY from there (All other fields get copied too).
the formatted search is based on a saved query:
SELECT $[$38.11.NUMBER]*$[$38.U_AnzMenge.NUMBER]
-Autorefresh Yes
-When altering Column
-Display Saved Values
Any suggestions?
TIA

Hi there,
Can try:
SELECT 'Price'=CASE WHEN $[$38.44.NUMBER]=0 THEN 2*2
ELSE
(SELECT T0.Price From RDR1 T0 INNER JOIN ORDR T1 ON T0.DocEntry=T1.DocEntry
WHERE T1.DocNum=$[$38.44.NUMBER] AND T0.ItemCode=$[$38.1.0])
END
This query only workable for local currency or currency specify in your Delivery Order. If your Sales Order line detail have different currency then you will need to modify the query.
Hope this help...

• Read item code from Sales Order with formatted search

hi,
i'm tring to read tha values of the item or items of a sales order (before save it) with a formatted search.
i have no problem to read the value of card code or cardname but i can't read the item's value.
i tried with this
Select $[RDR1.ItemCode]
(i found it on the forum) but it doesn't work.
somebody can help me ?
thank you

Hi, Alessandro!
I think the trouble is that you are trying to assign a FS to the header of the document. You are getting the information of the current row, so you have to bind a formatted search to some column of the "table - part" of the document.
And also you can try:
SELECT $[$38.1]
38 - the value of "Item" (when you point a mouse to the cell, information you want from)
1 - the value of "Column" (the same...)
It will get an info of this cell in a current row.

so when ever given to billing number cancel to all the document
plz send to me code and suggestions.
plz it is urgent.
advanced thanking you.

you can do that from VF02 - application menu - billing document - cancel.
if you want to do that from program use standard bapi's to cancel BAPI_BILLINGDOC_CANCEL1... also please reffer to transaction code BAPI for more bapis to reverse pgi - or you can write a BDC to reverse pgi - tcode is vl09.
i dont think you cancel  order but you can delete depending on your config. check out in application menu on va02. use bapi BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE to reject the items in sales order.

• Direct Delivery Sales Order - Function Module for Purchase Requisition

Hello Experts,
When we creat a Direct Delivery Sales Order at Production Plant  then one Direct Delivery Purchase Requisition automatically gets generated at the Distribution Warehouse. If anyone knows the function module which actually generates this Direct Delivery PReq, then request him/her to please let us know.
Thanks and Regards
Joseph

Hi,
Whatever Function Module's given are for or  above 4.6C versions.
       I want for 4.6B version.
At the same time, the returned tables should return more than 1 Pur.Req number as the FM's mentioned returns only 1.

• Automatic Delivery Date Calc with Formatted Search

Hi,
I'm trying to have the delivery date on purchase orders automatically calculated by using document date plus a value from the business partner master data (avragelate) which we are using as shipping time.
What I have as my query is the following:
Select $[$46.0.1]+t0.[avragelate] from ocrd t0 where $[$4.0.1]=t0.[cardcode]
This is however returning an internal error when it runs.
I have the formatted search set to run this query when the document date changes.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Michael

Where are you linking this Formatted Search and how did you try to execute this?
I don't generally post code before testing as I value the solution I provide and its importance to you...
I had tested this and it worked just fine.
You should save this query and link this to the Delivery Date on the PO screen.

• Do I need to create billing for FD (free delivery) sales order

Hi
I have a question. I created first a sales order (FD) in our sap system. but I don't know whether I need to create billing for the FD order. when I try to create billing for this FD order, SAP cannot to process it.
I also research configuration. in VOV8, SAP not set billing function.
thanks
Henry

Hi henry
If you have created Free of charge delivery (FD) sales order then the item category will be KLN only. After PGI then stock level will reduce  and the effect of the stock is that you are issuing stock to  customer at free of charge. And as you have assigned cost center then the data will flow to the controlling area and the Financial document  after  PGI.
Secondly if you assign TANN as a item category and do delivery and then PGI then if the reference document is different then it will have affect as the KMN and TANN item categories doesn't have same features

• Difference between Delivery, Sales order and  Shipment

Hi
I would like to know difference between sales document, delivery document and shipment.
When is the delivery created? What data will it have?

Hi
<b>Sales Documents </b>
Sales-related business transactions are recorded in the system as sales documents. These are grouped into four categories:
Pre-sales documents: inquiries and quotations
Sales orders
Outline agreements, such as contracts and scheduling agreements
Customer problems and complaints, leading to free-of-charge deliveries and credit memo requests
If your particular business processes require it, you can process deliveries and billing documents directly from a sales document. In addition, some sales documents, such as cash sales and rush orders automatically trigger the creation of subsequent delivery and billing documents.
Basic Functions Within Sales Order Processing
During sales order processing, the system carries out basic functions, such as:
Monitoring sales transactions
Checking for availability
Transferring requirements to materials planning (MRP)
Delivery scheduling
Calculating pricing and taxes
Checking credit limits
Creating printed or electronically transmitted documents (confirmations and so on)
<b>Delivery Processing</b>
In its role as central object of the goods issue process, the outbound delivery supports all shipping activities including picking, packing, transportation and goods issue. During the outbound delivery process, shipping-planning information is recorded, status of shipping activities is monitored and data accumulated during shipping processing is documented. When the outbound delivery is created, the shipping activities, such as picking or delivery scheduling, are initiated, and data that is generated during shipping processing is included in the delivery.
Range of Functions
An outbound delivery can be created as follows:
With reference to a sales order
With reference to a stock transport order
With reference to a subcontract order
<b>Shipping </b>
Shipping is an important part of the logistics chain in which guaranteed customer service and distribution planning support play major roles.
In shipping processing, all delivery procedure decisions can be made at the start of the process by
Taking into account general business agreements with your customer
Recording special material requests
Defining shipping conditions in the sales order
The result is an efficient and largely automatic shipping process in which manual changes are only necessary under certain circumstances.
Integration
The Shipping component is integrated under the Logistics Execution component. Shipping is a subsequent activity of the Sales component.
Range of Functions
The shipping module supports the following functions, which include but are not limited to:
Deadline monitoring for reference documents due for shipment (sales orders and purchase orders, for instance)
Creating and processing outbound deliveries
Planning and monitoring of worklists for shipping activities
Monitoring material availability and processing outstanding orders
Monitoring the warehouse's capacity situation
Picking (with optional link to the Warehouse Management system)
Packing deliveries
Information support for transportation planning
Support of foreign trade requirements
Printing and transmitting shipping documents
Processing goods issue
Controlling using overviews of
              o Deliveries currently in process
o Activities that still are to be carried out
              o Possible bottlenecks

• Negative Delivery/Sales Order in BP Master Data

I asked this question last week, but it wasn't answered, I will ask again with more information.
As the heading suggests there is negative values in Sales Order and Delivery totals in the BP Master Data.
See steps below.  All links are clickable and will open in new window showing step outlined.

I have set this scenario up in a test company so I am willing to make a mess and try and work things out.
If you can think of anything else you need to assist in working this out let me know
Thanks in advance.

Brenton,
This case has been answering by forum members since you posted it on August 30, 2010 and all of the answers referring to:
1. Someone suggested to use restore functionality to solve it but to do that, it must be under SAP support control / supervising
2. someone suggested to upgrade patch level to avoid this issue happened again but you must know that after upgrade, it won't solve so the no. 1 must be the final solution
3. Someone provided SAP note to check if the issue caused by the note but it also concluded the no. 1.
So, I think you must realize  that you have to log a message to sap support in order to get better solution. I said so because the support consultant will do these steps:
1. Check the database consistancy and if there is a SP consists update, insert or delete statement
2. Check the scenario that made the issues (using all related SAP notes)
3. if no. 1 is not available, they go to no. 2. if no. 2 is not the cause of the issue, they will use the restore functionality
4. After finishing step 3, they will check  the impact of the restore by performing step 2 again. if the issue is not happened again, they will contact you to attend a webex session meeting with them and with SBO end user (if you are a partner) to fix the live db.
Your live db must be free from users, backup the db before fix and after fix.

• Sales Order in PCUI: Search for products based on BP?

Hello,
my customer wants to migrate to PC-UI and has the requirement that when creating a new sales order the search for products only returns those products that are defined by a partner-product relation PPR, as is possible in standard SAPGui. Unfortunately I do not see a way to restrict the search for products in a way like this, is there?
Thanks
Thomas

Hello thomas,
If it is not available in standard, you can always enhance the query method of your MAC to show select only products based on your parner-product relation PPR.

• Credit Limit check on Delivery:: Sales order blocked

Dear Friends,
We have implemented credit limit check with delivery Block option in Sales order. After revising Credit limit, while user is creating Delivery again, system prompts for Delivery Block in Sales order i.e, reson for Block is Credit limit in Sales Order. then user removes resason and proceeds further.
Is there any way by which system doesn't put reason for rejection in sales order and just not allow to create delivery in system. i.e. we want to remove the step of removing reason from sales order.
Regards Krishan Raheja

Dear Krishan,
As per my understanding you require just a credit check in the sales order level, which can be implemented using credit management in sales order level . In that case system will automatically block the sales order if the credit limit is exceeded.
So you do not need a DELIVERY BLOCK reason assigned to your SALES ORDER TYPE in VOV8.
Please clarify, whether you need to block the sales order and delivery due to credit limit...
or is it just sales order which need to be blocked ?
you can get the detailed configuration steps in SDN or the same is as follows.

• Authorizatoins needed to execute formatted search

Hi,
I'm trying to assign correct authorizations to a user with a professional license to execute a formatted search within the payment means for incoming payments.
User has full authorizations on incoming payments and execute command on the Customization tools.
We have upgraded client to 2007A SP00 PL42 but was on PL3 and worked fine.
What else do I need to look out for?
Kind Regards,

The user should have read authorization to the authorization group for which the query category is assigned.

• Special Price + Formatted Search for Special Price.

Hi all,
Appreciate some help here.  Our client is using SAP B1 2007 Patch 38.  AU/NZ localization, Local Currency = AUD.
Scenario:
Item A, Price List 1 = $2795, Price List display = 4 decimals, Price List Currency = USD
Special price for Item A has been set up as follows:
Step 1 - Go to Item> Price List> Price and Volumne Discount
Step 2 - The price and volumn discount screen opened. From the drop down, select price list and then select Item A by double clicking the line.
Step 3 - Period Discount screen opened.  Valid from = 9th July 2008. Price = $2795.
Step 4 - Double click the line, Volume Discount Price List open, with the following details maintained.
Quantity=1, Discount=0, Special Price = $2795.
Quantity = 10, Discount=7.1556, Special Price = $ 2595.0010
Quantity = 100, Discount=10.0179, Special Price=$ 2514.9997
Question:  we intend to put in Special price = $2595 and $2515, but SAP just does its own round up.  Is there a way to work around?
Scenario 2:
To deal with the problem from Question 1, we have created a formatted search in the sales order and formatted search to round up the value in Line Total.
Column = Line Total
Trigger by = Quantity
Query = SELECT (case when $[$63.0.0]='USD' then Round($[$38.23.number],0) else $[$38.23.number] end)
Column = Quantity
Trigger by = Discount%
Query = SELECT $[$38.11.1]
The above set up works fine, if the user enter the quantity correctly the first time.
Eg:
User enter Qty = 10, SAP will display Discount = 7.1556 % and Line Total = $25,950.00 (Round up from $25950.01).
If user notice the quantity is wrong and then enter new quantity = 100, the discount remains at 7.1556%, it should be 10.0179%.
Question: Is there a way to work around this?

Hi Shawn ,
1.First check the decimal setting
a.Administration --> system intilisation --Document setting -- currency or by document --
b.System initiliaisation ---> general settng --->Display
c.Administration set up->Financial currency ---rounding --???
Currency setting overides the rounding method of procedure B
Scenario2
Since your trigger is dicount percentage , You will not get the desired output from the formatted search . Try to get the trigger at quantity .
Hope that helps
Bishal
