Demo Close Issue

We have multiple Captivate demos creates with Captivate
1.0.1188. In the Captivate project, each is set to close after
playback. However, when we view the output, one demo will close the
I.E. window it plays in while the other will not. Anyone have any
ideas on what might cause that?

Hi James,
There is "close" and then there is "
close". In one case the movie is closing but the window in
which it played remains open. In another, the actual window in
which the movie played is itself closing.
Internet Explorer will not normally allow you to saw off the
branch on which you are sitting. In other words, if the window the
movie is playing in is the
only open browser window, it may refuse to auto-close; but
if the movie ends after playing in a "new" (additional) browser
window, that window will be allowed to close - because the "parent"
window is still open.
So in a sense, whether the window will automatically close
will depend on the circumstances in which it originally opened.
Hope this makes sense, and helps you get it sorted.

PO short close issue

Hi All
Last two years before we have created PO and GR completed successfully IR not yet completed but invoice raised via normal posting instead of invoice receipt due to the reason still PO is showing open item.
How to close the PO which invoice raised via normal posting. I have tried to change delivery marked as completed in ME22N still PO is showing open item.
Please help us to resolve this issue.

Although I'm not sure why you have posted the invoice direct in FI module, when its always a good practice to post Invoice using MIRO as the values are matched with the PO and GR. You should be aware of these implications.
Should you still want to mark the PO as closed, on each line item, in the Invoice Tab, tick the Final Invoice Indicator.

CLOSE ISSUE - FI PCA transfer issue

Hello Friends
We have an critical issue which is holding our close now.
After transferring AP AR Subledger and PCA transfer we see that some accounts have different balance in PCA compare to FI.
In detail, we did the following steps -
Used T Code F.5D Which calculates the Balance sheet Adjustments AP AR documents
Used T code 1KEK to transfer the AP AR to PCA
Went to SM37 to process the same
Checked the Job Log and confirmed that there are no errors
Used Y_DEV_19000069 report to check whether the balances are transferred correctly to PCA and found the above differences

Issue was solved . We find those accounts in 3KEH.
We have to remove them from 3KEH for the amounts to be trasfered to profit centers.

Demo Image Issue

I have ported a working SSM / PAS model to the CDI-EPM75U1 demo image. I find that my system, and the three demos all have the same problem.
I can operate most functionality in Administrator including assignment of KPIs to PAS metrics and setting filters based on PAS dimension. But can not view metrics in Set Entry and Approval Defaults
In the User mode I can create report and see data.This indicates we are reaching PAS from SSM.
When I go to the scorecard no data is shown.
I have cheked latest date and lastdate doc.
Does anyone know of problems in the Demo VMWare image? Does anyone know what could trigger these symptoms.

Have you loaded HFPBM? In PAS you would issue the command:
JOB HFPBMMAK.PRO;ext
Check your model connections in Manage Models, you will need to create one for HFPBM.
For Entry & Approval, you have to create a Model Connection with the suffix _MM with the PAS USER of MMADMIN. (When you build a model using Cube Builder, it will automatically creates that model connection when you successfully build it.)
You have to Set Entry & Approval Defaults in Administrator interface. If you don't see a model to connect to, that means you don't have a _MM model created.
A model using Entry & Approval will have two model connections: _MM and _SC. The _MM is for E&A to add data to the model and the _SC is the connection to deliver that data to the Scorecards.

Error: SQL execute error for UPDATE PSACCESSPRFL SET ACCESSID = 'sa', SYMBOLICID = 'sa1', ACCESSPSWD = 'password', VERSION = 0, ENCRYPTED = 0
I tired running the same command line within SQL and got the following:
Msg 2601, Level 14, State 1, Line 1
Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.PSACCESSPRFL' with unique index 'PS_PSACCESSPRFL'.
The statement has been terminated.
I am new to this so sorry if this a basic question. Any help or direction would be greatly appericated. Thanks in advanced.

Did you check the current content of the table ?
The script should run fine, unless there are two lines inside the PSACCESSPRFL table.

First of all thank you paul. secondly, i am new to apex and just started.
I have everything setup as you mentioned but for some reason the modal page does not refresh
the original page and the success messages does not display either. I have also setup the links using modal

1. The edit pages does not refresh[Have setup the reset page], the old values are still displayed.
example: you can click on any one of the customers and update them and then go back and click
on the other it will display the same data.
2. the auto close sometimes does not close automitacally.
3. The edit link does not pop up with the modal page.

PR Close issue

Hi MM Techies,
I am supporting a Project. Where the User Requirement is like below..
Help me out in giving solution.
I have created a PR , say with 10 line items.
The PR has got the release procedure. After final release only it will allow to create a PO.
Once final release is over for PR, the PR creator will have only display access for that PR. There is No authorization for change.
After doing PO and GR for 5 line items of the PR out of 10 line items. the PR creator realises there is no demand of other 5 line items , which are pending for PO creation.. reason may be like cancelation of customer order.. etc
Then how should the PR creator can close the PR.
Please note this point , Once final release is over for PR, the PR creator will have only display access for that PR. There is No authorization for change.
Due to that he can't chose the indicator closed in item level tab quantities/dates, aslo he can't block in item level tab status.
Like this there may be more than 1000 of PO's.
Tell me if any program should be written in case it is not possible in standard.

It seems like you are asking for the impossible, you say that you want the P req blocked for input when it has been released (this is easy enough). But you are alos saying that you want the same user to be abble to close the P req.
I have suggested a field selection key that stops all fields being changed APART from the closed indicator and yet you are saying that this does not do what you need???
Why does this not do what you need? the user cannot change anything except the closed flag.

Cisco UCCX 9.0.2.10000-71 - Demo License Issues

Hello Cisco Support,
I have installed Cisco Unified Contact Express 9.0.2.10000-71 on a Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server and have used the demo license that comes with the ISO Image on the server. After install, I have used the Premium Demo License. I have integrated UCCX 9.0 with CUCM 8.6(2) SU2.
I can say that everything worked fine until I wanted to test the Cisco Agent Desktop (CAD), Cisco Supervisor Desktop (CSD) and Cisco Agent IP Phone Service.
I am pretty much sure that the configuration on either the CUCM, UCCX is set up correctly but I might miss something.
When I tried to fire up the CAD or CSD, I am getting the following error message: "A licensing error has occurred. Please try again in five minutes. If the problem persists, please see your log files or System Administrator for details". then followed by License Server is down.
I have also setup Agent IP Phone Service on the CUCM and each time I select the Service on the IP Phone, an error stating that could not connect to the IP Phone Agent Service.
Below is the information for my setup:

How do I go about turning off the the SYN Flood Detection Mode state in Option 2 on the UCCX Server.
Option 2: Turn off SYN Flood detection mode. Risk: Leaves the server open to SYN Flood.
I have checked and my Windows XP SP3 computer where Cisco Agent Desktop is installed has Windows Firewall set to off at the moment.

It is the correct system behaviour, It is programmed like this only and is standard system behavior.
As proposed by sap:
To stop the system from proposing a quantity in Transactions MB01 or MIGO and to prevent a GR posting, you can proceed as follows: ( choose any of these, best option is third one)
1. Reduce the purchase order quantity to the previous GR quantity.
2. Block the purchase order item.
(ME22N: Block pushbutton; ME22 Menu -> Edit -> Block)
3.Fill the date field for the 'Latest Possible Goods Receipt' (LEWED) in the purchase order item Delivery tab. If you do this and you enter a GR document after this date, the system issues message M7163, which you must set as an error message in Customizing ( T.code: OMCQ)
4. A warning message can also be set T.CODE OMCQ: M7 244

Dear Friend,
I understand Basic Price is from COndition Record.
But you will surely have a manual Discount or Price Adjestment Condition type available.
Use this Condition Type to make the value of Sales Order to zero or near zero.
Then try to close the Sales Order.
Also if PR is generated then delete the PR line item in ME52N then close the Sales Order.

Window popup close issue in jsf

I am having add/edit functionlaity in window popup and when i close the window by calling javascript:window.close.

You need to submit the form from the parent window, not from the popup window. When the window will be closed, all processing requests will be stopped immediately. Hence the "connection reset by peer" error message (which roughly means as "the other side has aborted the connection, we can't send a response anymore").
