Deploy and manage an offline organization installation

Hi,
a customer of us has a network of clients not connected over the internet.
They needs to use CCT solutions, but - as I know - periodically the software needs to connect to Adobe server to check the license.
They CAN'T connect the PC to internet, for organization's policy (government security).
How we can resolve the problem?

Couple options:
Update the hosts file on the gateway server with the names and IP addresses of the Linux systems. If you have a lot of Linux systems this could get ugly.
Use the DNS server the gateway server is using and use the 'nsupdate' command on the Linux systems to update the DNS server with the Linux systems.
Steps to perform the nsupdate:
Verify the DNS server is setup to allow 'Nonsecure and secure' updates. If you cannot setup the DNS server this way this option will not work.
Create a sh script called 'updatedns.sh' similar to this:

HOST=`hostname`
echo "`date` - Updating DNS with HOST - $HOST and IP - $IP" > /root/IP.txt
/bin/sed "s/IPADDRESS/$IP/g" /root/dns/dns.txt | /bin/sed "s/HOSTNAME/$HOST/g" > /root/dns/current.txt
/usr/bin/nsupdate /root/dns/current.txt
For the dns.txt file you will want something like this:
server <your dns server>
zone <your domain>.com
update delete HOSTNAME.<your domain>.com. A
update add HOSTNAME.<your domain>.com. 86400 A IPADDRESS
show

Finally, set it up to run the 'updatedns.sh' on boot and run a cron job once a day to keep it from expiring in DNS.
Note that the scripts above are examples and will need to be adjusted according to your environment but should give you a good idea how to move forward.
