I am using control and simulation loop in which nine types of graph ,select this nine graph use case with enum structue.STEP as a input.Also i get proper output but when i use autoscale property then graph output change.

I working on project in Lab-VIEW 2012 evalution version.Also attach VI,in which Non-linear control system method Phase Plane Trajectory(PPT) code developed.Run VI and click on plot.you will see two graph.one is time response and second one is phase plane.In phase plane it shows output but when i am selecting Autoscale it will no tshow me proper trajectory such as before.My future project developed GUI for different non-linearity,so it is necessory use Autoscale.
One more point i want to consider.whenever using Ramp signal or Numeric control it will properly working show poper PPT output with autoscale.
so,is there change in Control and simulation parameter or Step input long so this problem occur.

How to deal with poorly designed code

Hello, everyone.
I have a problem with some program that I wrote starting my career as a programmer.
At first I studied a lot and wrote this program in java with poor design solutions in mind.
My code looked like procedural(I studied c before) object oriented freak.
And as a result even I could hardly modify my code. I had to spend hours
remembering what each function in class did.
And some time after that my boss asked me to write one new feature which actually changes
architecture a lot. Even if it was good object oriented code, it would take some time. But now
it takes a great amount of struggle and patience to rewrite my ugly code and implement this
new feature.
So I'm asking you developers out there: How do you deal with such situations when for example
someone wrote very bad piece of code and you have to change/modify it to support new requirements?

The Bar that has the Live View button, design, code, split button disappeared! HELP!

In dreamweaver Cs4, there is this new bar which has the Code, Design, Split buttons, also the Live view and Live Code buttons. Well it Dissapeared!! and i loooked everywere i cant find it, its just gone!
i clicked alll the possible buttons on window and looked in google but i cant find anything
if someone knows please help!

Design / code view problem

Hello, I have been using DW for a while now. I only use code
view. When I first installed DW it asked for a default layout which
I assumed had nothing to do with the viewing of code vrs design,
just the layout. I chose coder layout.
Now I am in DW and I need to look at the design in real time
because I am having an issue that is causing me to go back and
forth between browser and DW and it is getting old. So I looked up
at the top where the toolbar is and design and split buttons are
greyed out and inactive for me. I thought this was odd so I created
a new basic HTML page to see if it would allow me access to these
buttons but again, no.
If I go to view menu same thing. I can only check code view.
I can however go to the window menu and change the layout to
designer, dual or coder but all this does is undock many of the
panels. I still cannot see the visual element of my code.
Can anyone please help me with this problem? At its most
simplest form, I created an HTML page that says Hello World and I
would like to be able to see this in both code and design view or
switch easily between the two. But as of now, it does not seem like
I have this ability. Again I am using DW 8

I see you are using DW8. OK....
Also, changing from coder to designer won't affect the split
view.
Have you tried reinstalling? Has DW always been this way that
you recall?

Design Problem : How to design/code a java client which is deployed to all the machines in a cluster and make sure that only one of the java client is active

          hi ,
          I have to design a java client (which is basically a JMS message listener)which
          is deplloyed to all the servers in the cluster. But as these are message listeners,
          i want only one of the instance to be active at a time.
          If the server on which the client is active goes down , I want the second server
          to start listening to messages.
          How do i design this ? Also is there a public api for multicasting that we can
          use ?
          Anybody has an idea on how to go about this..

          Failover message listeners? Sounds like you want MDBs, which are deployed on all nodes in a
          cluster. If your JMS destination is a queue, then only one MDB will pick up the message. And just
          like any other ejb service, MDBs failover.

DW CS3: Selection between code and design no longer in sync

All version of dreamweaver which supported mixed design/code
view so far
kept the selection in sync. I.e. if I select "Hello World" in
the WYSIWYG
view, it selects the markup in the code view above.
This make a big part of the workflow I have, getting quickly
oriented which
code renders what, and I suppose I'm not the only one.
In CS3 the selections are no longer in sync. I tried various
key combos, and
double-click+ shift seemed to do the trick... from time to
time, then
stopped working at all.. I'm confused...
Can anyone reproduce this?

Thanks for the re-designed code.
But i think if i tell you what exactly we are aiming at, may be you can give us some better and a compact solution.
We are writing some classes which are based upon entities like student, department etc etc. The return type of the various methods in these classes was becoming a debatable issue, esp. when the output was in the form of an m by n matrix...basically of 'm' columns ('m' fields of the table which was queried) and 'n' rows(records). Out of the various options, we decided that we pass every single record (of the result set) as an object (which will be non-interpretable by the programmer using our class) in a single vector.
Speaking in an elaborate way, if the query fired was like "show departments with code and name", the output was :-
"select deptcode,deptname from dept order by deptcode";
deptcode deptname
01 Chemical Enginnering
02 Computer Engineering
(etc etc)
Now we decided to pass the above as :-
Vector v1 = new Vector();
and to ' v1' we didn't want to add the string as it is but the object of the record like
v1.addElement ( objectOf(01 and Chemical Engineering) );
v1.addElement ( objectOf(02 and Computer Engineering) );
Now this 'objectOf' was upto us to decide.
So we decided that it can be an object of some inner class (in our case B). But now we realised that we have to reveal the class B also to others (during the A.B casting). So is there a way we can keep this 'objectOf' just to ourselves and when the programmer asks for 'getDeptCode(objectOf(01 and Chemical Engineering))', we have our method to interpret the argument passed and then pass the department code.
I hope i have not bugged much and made myself clear. I am sure the doubt may be silly, but we have still not come down to any solution and hence we seek help/suggestions.

Using DS3 or DW8 to edit php site files in design mode

Thanks in advance.
Kinda new to Dreamweaver and website design. Have a site
being designed in .php. I have downloaded the site folder, access
it in DW, but only Code Mode. Is there any way that I can access
the Design code mode to work with it as a php file.
Do I, can I save it as a web page/html, access it, make
changes, then save it again as php?
Or will I need to deconstruct, cut and paste together back
into the original php file?
This is very important as I will need to constantly update
and add content every day and I want to use the $$ DS3 Adobe suite
to work with the php based oscommerce site being built for me.
Unfortunately, my site developer has no experience with any
Dreamweaver software and is not exactly eager to find answers.
So, with great appreciation, I am hoping that someone can
lead me in the right direction. Too much wasted time and energy
just to find out a yes/no or how and how hard answer to this
question.

While a novice to using dreamweaver or coding a website in
general, I am not an idiot or a novice to the art and structure of
computer, i.e., software programming. I have a degree in
engineering; in the day, I programmed in fortran and associated
languages.
So, what I have been discussing this entire thread and my
overall concern is that I want to change content pages and use a
software package such that it will not interfere with the php
coding of the pages and associated function of the site. Are all
end users required to know code to add content -- if so, we would
have millions of programmers to handle the millions of websites.
What I want to be is an end user who can efficiently add
content to his site. I don't want to have to learn how to use php
instead of continuing to research and learning on other subjects
that I wish to share; specifically, the workings of the brain, how
to learn, how stress and sleep affect our lifestyles and what we
need to do to overcome our natural tendencies towards our/my type
'A' behavior. I have spent approximately 20 hours trying to dig
through this the last 3 days, including a few hours associated to
forums without any answers, even though there have been some very
helpful people spending their time trying to understand my
predicament.
So, I don't want to have someone design a website, primarily
a site that is information and content based albeit with ecommerce
functions that will require me to dig into or learn what the php
code for bold this statement, or make this a header, or insert
image here, define this text box with these parameters, etc., then
take the time to insert those specific codes in articles that I
have already written in a word document that should be able to cut
and paste and post effectively and efficiently in the average
website or blog. Is that unreasonable?
All I wanted to know is can I or how can I use the built in
coding tools in Dreamweaver in this (my opinion not the css,html
site I paid for) php designed site and upload it without wreaking
havoc on the system -- irrespective and outside of catalog listings
which should not have anything to do with pure content based pages.
Am I wrong to think that in the design of a site, that templates
for content pages and even the index page could be designed in html
and leave the database functions to the php?
The problem is that every page has a php extension. Am I
wrong to think that this ecommerce site could have been designed
with css and html that would have integrated somewhat seemlessly
with the $2000 software package???
Wisdom is trying to find the people that know more than you
do on a subject, hopefully experts, and ask them the questions in
the right mode to get an answer such that you can continue
proceeding on the same path or come up with a better plan. That is
what I have been trying to do.
So, as an expert in dreamweaver and ecommerce sites: can you
use non php based programming? Can someone design a site in
dreamweaver using OsCommerce such that an intermediate end user of
the dw can add content using the systems tools and not screw up the
structure of the site -- and do so without having to dig into the
page code every step of the way?
And, yes, I have googled the subject and looked through
OsCommerce instructions, help pages, etc.., to no avail.
It seems that I will take what has been made, complete the
project, then find some other way to efficiently and effectively
produce an ongoing dynamic content site that will sell some things
on the side.
I am trying very hard to communicate effectively with my
designer and maintain a positive, forward-thinking mode to create a
workaround to his design mode to allow me to effectively,
efficiently and without harm add to the site without having to type
a backslash in front of every daggone apostrophe or actually
<br> every carriage return in the 100+ articles I have
already written.
Can I create an html document in dreamweaver then upload it
to the php site? I was told that I needed to then give it a php
extension for it to work. What is involved in this?
Dreamweaver supposedly handles php files? How? Just like
Notepad or any other text editor -- without any of the Tools or
functionss?
And, how can I make changes to the index.php file? This is
FAR from a process that I envisioned when my site definition for
contract said: "Css based, 3 column design for content and
ecommerce that user will add content on continuous basis using
dreamweaver".
As you can tell. This is not what I got.

Design View appears differently w/GoDaddy

...the "Design View" shows differently and I am unable to
edit in the "Design View" or Split "Design/Code View". It was very
user friendly when I was using the other Hosting Company.

edit the written material. The particular page(s) that I'm trying
to edit are my ARTICLES page. To find the "Articles" page, you
first need to click "About Jeff" and then you'll see the "Articles"
link. I'm just a dumb golf pro who's trying to edit some text. I've
done this numerous times on the other (jeffgolfpro.com) local site.
So, in short, when attempting to edit the jeffgolfpro.com site I
can scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN and see ALL of the content. (text etc).
When attempting to edit the jeffgolf.us site I can't see any text.
(can't scroll down much past the big swf icon)

Design Mode not displaying

I have some old (from the year 2000-2001) html files that
would show up in the design editor in Dreamweaver. I am now using
Dreamweaver CS3 and the design mode only shows my background. When
I click on the 'split' icon to show both design/code, the code show
up perfectly but the design area only show the background color,
and a empty table with 2 talbes inside.

As per data security i think i wont be able to share much of data or error file to you. But as i was analysing error file i found
"[138]Invalid options on '^subform' command."
My dat file is referring to few subforms , so when i commented a particluar subform in my dat file i was able to do test presentment succesfully. But still i have few doubts about the hit n trail solution.
My .idf file has just pages : 1 & 2 [Pg 1 is blank with only feld CONTINUE_FIELD ; and Pg 2 is real form with various fields ]
My dat file is referring to three subforms in total in sequence : INTIALLY it was like
^subform 2

^subform 3

After following up err file i commented subform 2 & subform 3 in my dat file like [ i didnt know how to comment a line in dat file but after googling i found that if i put ; in front of a line it will be considered as comment , if someone could tell other way to do so i would appreciate]
AFTER changes it was like

;^subform 3
/data
;^subform 3
//data
My Doubt : I can see the TP now but what i see is something like this...i see proper content on PDF page1 (all Pg 2 fields of .IDF form); but on pg2 it's just printed ;^subform 3 and on & pg3 its just printed ;^subform 3
So commenting tag ^subform 3 helped in showing up TP but it resulted in vanishing of data on Pg2 & Pg3 on PDF.
Now i doubt what went wrong ?? Somebody pls comment or compliment my hit & trial skills
