Detect browser, and display message, without PHP?

My website is only fully functional with Google chrome, a lot still works in Firefox, and almost nothing works with IE (for now), is there some sort of script/code I can use to detect if a browser is not Google chrome? And then if the browser is not Google chrome a pop-up message appears? I can't use anything PHP so Javascript or something else would be preferable.

I agree with bregent, no-one is going to download and install a new browser because of your suggestion.

Well you can access messages produced using
getMessages() method of faces context. Store these messages in some attribute of backing bean and attach this attribute to some component in your jsf page.
You can use the following conditions to determine the presence of any messages using:

Not that I'm a Verizon employee, but I have experience in the field. An LTE tower will only extend up to, on a perfect day, with no elevation, 6-7 miles. On a typical day, you will be lucky at four (4) miles. The three ZIP codes you've given are all within about a 12 mile radius. That would mean that 2-3 towers are currently down at the same time, and Verizon would know about it within the hour. Being it's Cleveland, I'm sure they would receive numerous calls regarding an outage of that size.
My point is that if you're having issues in all three ZIP codes, chances are it's a phone issue. If you're handset is simply not receiving LTE, but still receiving 3G, that would signify a SIM card issue. You need to get your SIM card replaced.

Check database and Display Message

i have though to make the whole gui running under a thread and to make another thread which

Firefox (cause the computer) run very slow and display message about Javascript...

I have installed Firefox (latest vesion) in Windows XP Computer and It sometime run slow (and slow the computer at that time) so that I have to kill firefox job in taskmanager to run it again. Normally, when computer slow, the firefox show a message like "javascript..."

Ok, try to clean your PC with [https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download CCleaner], do deep defrag and optimization with [http://www.iobit.com/iobitsmartdefrag.html Smart Defrag], make sure you have space on your primary drive(where your OS is installed), test your memory with [http://www.memtest.org/ Memtest86+]. If this doesn't help probably most painless and fastest solution will be to reinstall your Windows. Also keep in mind that Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, so if you are in position to move to a newer version of Windows would be a right thing to do. If you reinstall your OS, just update OS and install drivers before you install Firefox and test it then without any other software installed.

How can I select and delete messages without T'bird opening each one as it is selected?

Well, that says it.... if I select a message, say, to delete it because the subject line says "If you open this message, your computer will be instantly infected with every known malware" - - woops! the Thunderbird setup just opened it.

up graded Firefox directly from older version to latest version and problem cropped up. Latest version on my laptop which is out of service and in shop works fine and on my net book works fine. Should I have done it in steps?

Mail Composed, and incoming messages displayed Font too small.

Most emails I receive and my outgoing composed messages use a font size around 12 point. People who receive my emails see a normal size, but while I am composing or reading incoming messages the font displayed is too small and difficult to read.
When I use other applications where I also use or view a 12 point font, and have the viewing magnification set to 100%, the displayed font is just fine. I think this is due to my screen resolution which is set to 1280x800 on my 13" MacBook.
When I change my screen resolution to 1024x768, the mail displayed 12 point font becomes readable, and in other applications the 12 point font at 100% magnification is the same as when I was using the 1280x800 screen resolution.
I have tried entering Command-Plus to magnify the displayed mail message, it actually increases the font size in the message rather than magnifying the message and keeping the font the same.
Is there another way I can magnify just the displayed message without magnifying the whole desktop/screen?

Yes, setting the monitor to the default resolution, it does look fine. But for applications like Word, Pages, Preview and many other when you set the display zoom magnification to 100.00 regardless of the screen resolution the text seems normal, but in Mail, there is no screen zoom magnification, and so the higher the screen resolution, the smaller the text in composed and received messages is.

It is not possible to display message without calling that screen. You are currently on screen on 2000 and you wanted to display message on screen 3000
Try call screen 3000 and then try to display message

Requirement is to set threshold percent (warning and critical) in OEM and in a function (for User-Defined Metrics) or procedure (for scheduler) check for Tablespace PCT_FULL against the set threshold percent and display message accordingly.

Export, convert and save messages

I usually save all my messages by simply dragging the files from Nokia Phone Browser into a folder on my computer. It turn out that this wasn't very useful and I am not looking for a way to convert all my messages (sms & mms) into somthing I can import to a mailbox in Thunderbird och Outlook.
As I no longer have all messages on my phone but only the .vmg- and .mms-files stored in a folder on my computer I wish to convert those, but if it there is a way to pull them directly from my phone into Outlook, .eml-files, or something other importable format that'll work too.
Any ideas?

I am familiar with how Outlook stores data. The best thing would be if there was a smart way to convert everything to emails, but it guess it will be a little awkward since they have number instead of email addresses...
Point is that my stored messages-files does not have readable headers which make browsing and finding messages really hard.
So, I change my question and ask, is there any good (open source preferred) to browse and view exported messages.

Without any prompt from me, Firefox is continually redirecting itself and displaying a 404 Error message. What can I do to correct this?

Upon laptop start-up, with Firefox as my web browser, I generally visit news sites beginning with with CNN. Aside from updating Adobe Acrobat Reader to the X version, I have not added anything to my laptop (A Sony Vaio A/W series 64 bit operating with Windows 7) recently, but I am continuously being redirected via the 404 error message without clicking or while reading an article. Firefox has also been crashing daily despite efforts to keep the cache clean and a minimum of programs running during use. I use Norton 360 for antivirus protection and update daily and have not found any bugs to suggest adware or malware. I do have Chrome loaded as a secondary browser, but Firefox has been my browser of choice until recently. Help.
