Detecting error messages of XBO

Hi, everyone,
How do I detect when error messages come out of an XBO?
- I wrote some code in AfterModify that updates another BO.
- I want to role back when errors come out of the XBO.
Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
May T.

Hi, Sunil Maurya.
     I want to update myBO with the ID of the SAP BO. But at the same time I want to update SAP BO too.
For example, I have myBO that contains 2 fields, one ID field and another data myField.
I extended Supplier Invoice Request. And I extended a field extField that will be filled with myField of myBO when the Post or PostAndNew button is clicked.
This is how I will take myField of myBO and fill Supplier Invoice Request.
So, I wrote some codes to do so.
var query = myBO.QueryByElements;
selParams.Add(query.IDField,"I","EQ",this.IDField);
var results = query.Execute(selParams);
var result=results.DataField+1;
this.extField=resultData;
And I want to update myBO with the extField back.
So I update myField with the extField again.(result)
The problem is that when errors occur in saving xbo, this.extField is not saved and but myBO is updated with the increased number..
Is there anyway around?
I tried it in BeforeSave but it is still the same.
I am really sorry it is getting complicated because of my writing.
Thanks,
May T

I don't recall my manual password because been swiping fprint for so long. I can't reset pword and don't recall user name. Hello @KingdomPearl,
    Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  Sorry to hear about your sign in issue, we have ll been there in one way or another.  I am going to give you a link from microsoft that may help in recovering your password.
    Forgotten password and other sign-in problems.
    I hope that link helps.   If not could you post back some information about your notebook.  What I am looking for is the product number and the Operating System.  Here are a couple links to assist you in finding this information.
    How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
    Which Windows operating system am I running?
    Now the worse case scenario here is that you would have to do a system recovery back to the way the system was out of the box.  This is the worse case due to it will wipe out all your data from the hard drive if it is not backed up already.
    Hope to hear back from you soon.
    Thanks You.

  • Error message "iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted"

    Everything used to work just fine until recently. On my Windows XP Home SP3 laptop, with iTunes (version 9.0.2.25) already open, I connect my 5th Generation iPod Nano and get the following message in iTunes:
    "iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod."
    If I plug the iPod into the computer without first starting iTunes, the Windows ‘Auto Play’ message comes up immediately then disappears and then the following message appears:
    "Your iPod needs to be formatted for use with Windows. Would you like to run iTunes to restore your iPod Now?"
    Otherwise, the iPod functions normally when not connected in iTunes. I can play the music, videos, and record videos with no problems.
    The troubleshooting steps I took were:
    I performed a reset of the Nano by first sliding the hold switch on/off a few cycles, leaving switch off (no orange showing), then pressed and held the Menu + Select button until the Apple logo appeared. Then I tried it in iTunes again; no such luck, same error. I then did a reset again, this time with the iPod connected to an AC power source; still no luck. I tried the reset numerous times and it didn’t help.
    Next, I ran the diagnostics by pressing and holding the Menu + Select buttons immediately followed by the Select + Reverse buttons. I stepped through all the diagnostics tests and all tests passed as far as I could tell (there was no errors reported).
    After this, I tried it in iTunes again and still no luck.
    I even tried the iPod on my Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit) machine and it behaved the same way. The version of iTunes on that machine was at an earlier version when I first tried it there. I then upgraded iTunes to the latest version but that didn’t help either.
    I can sync my iPod Touch and 2nd gen Nano without any problems.
    Sorry about be long winded about this but I am wondering if anyone else may have other suggestions. I want to try and avoid a restore if possible because I have some videos I recorded that I would like to get off the iPod. I’m not concerned about my music files as I have them always backed up but didn’t get the videos off yet.

    I am having this same problem with my brand new Mac Pro. It seems to be tied to the computer awaking from sleep (no I am not leaving the iPod connected while sleep... I am referring to waking the computer from sleep and then connecting iPod as opposed to restarting the computer and then connecting the iPod). In other words, if you are getting this error message, try ejecting the iPod, restart your computer, then connect the iPod and see if the error message goes away. For me it does, but I only get one shot at it, if I eject the iPod and then reconnect it, the error message returns. This happens on both iPods I have. I have rebooted (hold menu-select) and gone to disc mode (hold select-play) and the error message remains. The only way it goes away is to reboot the computer, then I get one shot at hooking up an iPod.
    I NEVER had nor get this error message when I connect to the Windows PC that I started with. Perhaps the iPod does not like moving from PC to Mac?

  • When I hook my ipod up to my mac I used to get the Itunes has detected an ipod that appears to be corrupted error message. It would then sync all my song to the ipod but when I ejected it, none of the songs would be on the ipod. Now I hook it up and I get

    When I hook my ipod up to my mac I used to get the Itunes has detected an ipod that appears to be corrupted error message. It would then sync all my song to the ipod but when I ejected it, none of the songs would be on the ipod. Now I hook it up and I get the Mac OS X can't repair the disk error message. Then the spinning colored pinwheel pops up and I can't use iTunes. Please HELP!!!!!!

    Sounds like your iPod is broken. Take it to Apple or someone else who repairs iPods and see if you can get it fixed, or get it replaced.

  • I just moved my itunes library from a win 7 computer to a win 8.1 computer. Getting an error message "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly. Can't play CDs or get audio file from web!

    Help! I just moved my itunes library from a Win 7 computer to a new Win 8.1 computer following the instructions on the itunes website. Everything is good except I'm getting an error message on the Win 8 computer if I try to play a CD or get an audio file off of the internet. I get an error message that says "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly. I don't know where to look for or fix the audio configuration on the win 8 computer. As far as I can tell the iTunes configuration looks the same as on the other computers in the house. At this point I don't dare plug my ipod touch into the Win 8 computer for fear it will get messed up.

    I have the same problem and I know that it is due to my PCI Audio driver not being compatible with WIndows 8.1.
    iTunes isn't the only program that can't direct sound to the built-in speakers anymore. The obvious solution would be to update the drivers, but unfortunately Dell does not provide an updated driver for my model, so I am stuck with that.
    However, saying that, only my laptop speakers are affected by this. I can use sound fine on applications where I can choose the output device and direct sound to the head phones, but for some reason iTunes does not let you choose the audio device manually.
    To listen to music I imported the iTunes Library in Windows Media Player and changed the audio output using the following instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/c00d11ba
    However, I would also like to rent movie's from iTunes,
    Would be great if iTunes would let you choose the output device, too, like most other applications using sound  from Skype to Windows Media Player,...

  • Error message after upgrade to iTunes 11: "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly."  At this point my PC running XP loses all audio.

    Several attempts to upgrade to iTunes 11 have failed.  After an upgrade to 11 the error message reads: "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly."  At this point--after the upgrade to iTunes 11--my PC running Windows XP loses audio playback for all functions--in iTunes, in the browser and the volume icon disappears from the System Tray.  Only by removing iTunes 11, and then using System Restore to turn back the OS settings can I return the PC to normal functioning.
    I did that.  I reinstalled iTunes 10.5.  Everything seemed fine, but when I try to plug in and copy a CD to my iPhone 4S an error message reads roughly: 'iPhone 4S requires iTunes 10.5 or higher to work.'
    What might be the problem with my audio configuration?
    Why doesn't my iPhone 4S work with iTunes 10.5?  It used to work with iTunes 10.5.
    Please advise.

    Hi
    So just close iTunes and re-open iTunes thats it and that worked for you?
    When you say reset your settings do you mean to factory settings? As my iPod was swapped at the store for a new one and the problem is still there...
    Thanks.
