Detecting Jboss is down and retrying after sometime

Question

hi,
we have a JMS client that talks/ topic-publishes to a JBoss. the client is on a diffarent machine/ server. Now the problem is that if the JMSClient is up but not the jboss the context.lookup('abc') is hanging intermitantly. I tried timeouts but it doesnt work. is there a solution to this? or is this a known issue?
the code is as follows:

Hi,
I have the same problem and I'm using jbossall-client-3.2.3.jar.
Do you think that using jboss-clientall.jar will solve the problem?
Please let me know where I can download this jar. I couldn't find it anywhere when searching it in Google.
