Determine Process ID at runtime via UDF

Hello to all,
I need to determine the process id (instance) of the workflow (ccBPM) at runtime within a transformation step (message mapping). Is there a way to access the BPE data via UDF similar to the runtime constants (e.g. MESSAGE_ID, ...)?

    PO can be sent to using Outlook email or the Internal send within SAP.
    Message via E-Mail
    Use
    You can send purchasing documents to a vendor by e-mail.
    You can also send memos to an internal user from within the purchasing document, in which case the recipient can directly access the relevant document when processing the e-mail (executable mail).
    Prerequisites
    External Transmission
    Make the necessary Customizing settings
    The SAP system is configured for the transmission of external mails.
    The message determination facility has been set up in Customizing for Purchasing.
    You have defined a communication strategy in Customizing under Messages Output Control -> Message Types -> Define Message Types for <Purchasing Document> -> Maintain Message Types for <Purchasing Document> on the Default Values tab page, so that if no e-mail address can be found, for example, the system sends a fax.
    The following information is necessary:
    1.Data
    2.Value
    3.Comment
    Message type:
    Communication strategy
    E.g. NEU
    Choose a communication strategy or create a new one. Via the input help, you can branch to the maintenance function for communication strategies. Choose in the following window.
    Enter the necessary data on the Default Values tab page on the detail screen for the message type ().

    Medium
    Program
    FORM routine
    5 (external transmission)
    SAPF06P (e.g. for PO)
    ENTRY_NEU
    The entries are identical to those of the print output.
    Partner roles
    E.g. external transmission/LF
    Maintain master data
    Message records must have been created through master data maintenance (Purchasing menu). (See Creating Message Records)
    Enter the necessary data u2013 for example, role LF (vendor), medium 5 (external transmission) and time spot 4 (send immediately upon saving).
    SAP recommends that you work with time spot 4, so that the e-mails generated are sent immediately.
    If you work with processing time spot 1 (send via periodically scheduled job), you must schedule the program RSNAST00 periodically for message output, so that messages are generated and e-mails sent.
    An e-mail address is stored in the vendor master record.
    An e-mail address is stored in the user master record.
    Please note that you must also maintain an e-mail address for user IDs with which batch-jobs are carried out.

    Activities
    External Transmission
    If you have specified the processing time-spot 4 (send immediately upon saving), the system will immediately generate and transmit a message when you save the purchasing document.
    If you have specified the processing time-spot 1 (send via periodically scheduled job), you must initiate the output of e-mails manually.
    Result
    You see the documents generated in the SAP system under Office ->Work center -> Outbox -> Documents.
    Internal Transmission
    On the message screen of the Purchasing application (e.g. in the purchase order), enter the message type, the medium (SAPoffice) and the role (MP = mail partner).
    Choose Means of communication and enter your text on the following screen (<Purchasing document>: Send with note). Enter the useru2019s first and last names, for example, in the Recipient field.
    Executable mail
    If you wish to insert a transaction (because you want the recipient to view a purchase order, for example), choose Goto -> Execution parameters. Enter the necessary data, such as execution type (T = transaction), execution element (ME22N = Change Purchase Order), execution system, and the SET/GET parameters (BES for purchase order).
    Result
    If you have specified send immediately as the processing time-spot, the user will immediately receive a message or document when the purchase order is saved.
    The user can view the message sent to him or her via Office -> Work center -> Inbox.
    If the document in your inbox is an executable mail, you can click the right-hand mouse button and directly access the relevant purchase order, for example, via the menu thus displayed.

    Condition Class is a grouping that lets you control each condition type differently.
    For example, the condition type "taxes" defines that the taxes in a document must be recalculated if the country of the ship-to party changes.
    Condition category (examples: tax, freight, price, cost)
    A classification of conditions according to pre-defined categories (for example, all conditions that relate to freight costs).
    Condition category basically identifies the type pf cost the Condition type is being used for & can be used for .
    Calculation type
    Determines how the system calculates prices, discounts, or surcharges in a condition. For example, the system can calculate a price as a fixed amount or as a percentage based on quantity, volume, or weight.
    The calculation type can be set when generating new condition records. If this does not happen, the calculation type maintained here is valid for the condition record
    Rounding rule
    The rule that determines how the system rounds off condition values during pricing. The last digit will be rounded.
    Example
    In the standard rounding rule '_', values are rounded off according to business standards:
    10.454 -> 10.45 DEM
    10.455 -> 10.46 DEM
    In rounding rule 'A', values are always rounded up:
    10.459 -> 10.46 DEM
    10.451 -> 10.46 DEM
    In rounding rule 'B', values are always rounded down:
    1045.9 -> 1045 LIT
    1045.1 -> 1045 LIT
    In this example, the currency of the condition rate is Italian Lira. The Italian Lira does not have any places after the point.
    Structure condition
    controls whether the condition type should be a duplicated condition or a cumulated condition.
    This control is only helpful when you use bill of materials or configurable materials.
    Aduplicated condition is duplicated into all assigned items.
    A cumulated condition contains the net value of all assigned items.

    promotions
    Specifies that the condition type in question is only valid for Promotions.
    Use
    Conditions for which this indicator has been set can only be maintained via the 'Promotion' menu - not via the Purchasing menu.
    Accrual (e.g. Freight)
    Indicates that the system posts the amounts resulting from this condition to financial accounting as accruals.
    Use
    If you mark this indicator, the condition appears in the document as a statistical condition.
    Before Release 4.0 variant conditions (VA00) had to be created with the condition category 'O'
    Problem: It was not possible to indicate a 'Variant condition' at the same time as 'Internal costing condition' and 'Freight'.
    Solution: For this reason more indicators are being set up in 4.0 for the condition type:
    'Variant condition' (KVARC)
    'Internal costing condition' (KFKIV)
    The characteristic values O and I for the condition category must no longer be used.
    For more information, see the note 93426.
    inv.list condi
    Condition for invoice list
    Marks the condition type as relevant for internal costing.
    Quantity conversion
    This field controls the quantity conversion during determination of the condition basis.
    The field is only relevant for calculation rule 'C' (quantity- dependent.
    It is relevant if the sales quantity unit and the condition quantity unit are identical (and is different to the basis quantity unit).
    Deactivated: The condition basis quantity is converted via the quantity to the stockkeeping unit. This means that the condition quantity is determined for planned factors. This means that a change to the conversion factors in the delivery or the order are not taken into account.
    Rounding errors can occur during quantity conversion.
    Activated: If the sales quantity unit and the condition quantity unit are identical, the quantity of the document item is used, i.e. the actual quantity.
    Condition for inter-company billing
    Conditions for Internal Costing, for example PI01 and PI01 were defined before Release 4.0 by KNTYP = I (Price for internal costing).
    Problem: It was not possible to indicate 'Freight condition' at the same time as 'Internal costing condition' and 'Variant condition'.
    Solution: Therefore a new indicator 'Internal costing condition' (KFKIV) has been set up. You can use this to indicate a freight condition as an internal costing condition. For more information, see note 93426.
    Scale :
    Scale basis indicator
    Determines how the system interprets a pricing scale in a condition. For example, the scale can be based on quantity, weight, or volume
    Checking rule for scale rates
    Indicates whether the scale rates must be entered in ascending or descending order.
    Scale Type
    Indicator that controls the validity of the scale value or percentage:
    From a certain quantity or value (base scale)
    Up to a certain quantity or value (to-scale)
    Alternatively, it is possible to work with interval scales. Interval scales must be stored in the condition type, that is, the scale type "interval scale" cannot be changed in the condition record. The reason for this is technical restrictions resulting from the programming within pricing.

    Use
    You can use this formula to specify calculation methods that are not provided in the standard system.

    Pls explain the process abt a/c determination for service po's (with item catelory & a/c assign) during miro.
    For example. I have three plants and same tax codes used for all plants and gl numbers are diff as per below. ,
    For plant #1 - ESA - 101, ESE - 102, VSE -103
    For Plant #2 - ESA- 201, ESE-202, VSE-203
    For Plant #3 - ESA- 301, ESE-302, VSE-303
    And assume gl is assigned in OB40 (w/o tax code combination) as,
    ESA-101 , ESE - 202 , VSE -303 .
    While doing miro for what ever plant, it's going and set on appropriate plant g/l nbrs based on trns. key.
    Pls tell me how a/c determination process flows automaticaly to the exact plant wise.

    Hi ,
       For the automatic account posting to different G/L account for different plant---- Group the plants with different grouping by assigning different valuation grouping code. All the automatic account posting config is to be done for each of the valuation grouping code.
      Thus the automatic account postings to different G/L accounts happen for different valuation grouping code.

  • How to use process overriden public runtime user?

    Hello,
    While creating a unix/linux dynamic target, I am passing unix/linux hostname and username
    manually.
    I am using the dynamic target in 'Open Terminal Session' and overriding the default username
    with Public authenticated username. Open terminal session is working fine and able to
    ssh the linux host.
    But 'Execute Terminal Commands' process is getting failed while using the same 'Open Terminal
    Session' as target.
    Even though i am passing the sam 'Open Terminal Session' as target; 'Execute Terminal Command' is using the default runtime user rather than using the process overriden public runtime user.
    Please do the needfule for the same. Please let me know if I need to provide more information.

    In Open Terminal Session we have Credentials tab, there we can override process runtime user with public key
    but we dont have anything in execute terminal commands.
    We have credentials tab in 'Execute Unix/linux scripts' also but we cant use Public Authenticated Runtime User.
    I have attached snapshots for ref puposes.

    My requirement is to select that batches that were picked up by the delivery (i.e. those that passed the search strategy) using the Material and Plant combination, Customer as an optional parameter.
    Could you please provide the function modules that are required to make use of the function module "VB_BATCH_DETERMINATION"? Also, could you please let me know if we need to take into consideration any other factors when using the function module VB_BATCH_DETERMINATION

    You can go for pricing manually or automatic. If you need pricing automatic you have to go for use of Access Sequences and Schema Group of Vendor. You can customize your pricing procedure according to your requirement such as like Domestic, Import and Stock transport.
    For the above individually you have to configure Pricing Procedure and the following steps are:
    SPRO->MM->Purchasing->Conditions->Define Price determination process
    1. Define Condition Table:
    2.Define Access Sequence,
    3.Define Condition Type,
    4.Define Calculating Schema,
    5.Assign Calculation Schema, Access Sequence and Condition Type,
    6.Define Schema Group Of Vendor,
    7. Define Schema Group Of Purchasing Organization,
    8.Assign Schema Group Of Vendor to Purchasing Organization,
    9.Assignment of Schema Group Of Vendor ,Schema Group Purchasing Organization and Calculation Schema.
    10. Assign Vendor to Schema Group of Vendor (XK02)
    11.Maintain Condition record (MEK1)
    after above steps, you can go for create PO in ME21N.
    In the case of Import PO, you have to activate Import PO.
    SPRO->Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Foreign Trade/Customs ->Control Foreign Trade Data in MM and SD Documents -

  • Using formula in price determination process for PO

    Hi, dear experts,
    I would like to define some conditions types for purchasing orders that allow me to calculate an insurance amount using the formula:
                 Insurance = [CF)((C+F)10%)]T
         Where: C is the Gross price, F is the Freight and T is a factor that the user has to input
    For that, I define a condition type for gross price, for the freight and for the T value
    How can I have to define a condition type to do this operation?
    On the other hand, the freight is a percentage of the gross price, but for this operation I need the amount, how can I make reference to this amount? (Result of gross price * freight (%))
    Also, there is a link where can I find information regarding the price determination process?

    Hi,
    You can store (surely you have them in data) the data for C and F in values that you can config in pricing procedure in the field 'SubTo'. After, you can obtain the amount with a formula VOFM and set it in M/08 in field 'AltCTy'. You can check this links to know how to do it:

    as we are sending the trace only via email to some Admin or End User.

  • Need to change the name of a GP process instance at runtime.

    Is there a way to change the name of a GP process instance at runtime?  I would like to change the name of the process instance to include the employee's name who initiated the process.  This way when the process owner or overseer displays thier list of processes from the GP Runtime Work Center, they can tell who initiated each process.

    If the users are invoking the Process from Web Dynpro or some other application using GP API, then you can try the followigI.
    You can try using the startProcess() method of the IGPRuntimeManager object. It has multiple paramaters of which two(second and third) are for the userProvidedName and userProvidedDescription. You can set any name and description while invoking the GP process and the name and description should appear in the Runtime for the owners/overseers/administrators in hte list of process instances. You can add the name of the Employee while setting that name and description.

    Some standard texts to which you can refer in the sales and distribution documents have been defined in the standard version of the SAP R/3 System.
    Notes on Entering Text
    You can use standard texts to give notes to the employee entering an sales and distribution document regarding the information he should include in specific header or item texts and the sequence in which he should do it. For example, by including a standard text such as a header note in the sales document, you can make sure that the employee specifies in the first line whether the customer has taken advantage of a sales promotion in his purchase order and in the second line, how (newspaper, radio etc.) he found out about the promotion.
    Proposals from the Master Records
    The standard text above must first of all be created and then included in a text in the customer master. You can define in Customizing whether this text is automatically proposed from the customer master record in the header note of the document header when you create a sales document.
    Standard texts can be proposed in the documents at header and item level in the same way from the material master record.
    Create
    To create a standard text, proceed as follows:
    Select Tools ® SAPscript ® Standard text on the main menu screen.
    Enter a name for the text to be created in the field Text name, the indicator ST in the field Text-ID, and the abbreviation for the language in which you want to create the text in the field Language.
    Select Create/Change.
    You switch to the SAPscript editor. If no standard text has been created with this name, the following message is displayed: Text  stands for the language indicator with which you control the language of the standard text. The line in which you make these entries must have the formatting key /: (paragraph format for a command line) in the format column.
    Calling Up At the Time of Issue
    In Customizing any number of standard texts can be included in the definition of a sales and distribution forms. The texts then appear in the appropriate place in the form when each output is issued.

    You will find additional information on the SAPscript editor and on INCLUDEs as well as examples online in the hypertext system under the text module name STXD_ED. Proceed as follows:
    Select Tools ® Hypertext ® Structures on the main menu screen.
    Enter the text module name in the Structure field and in the Language field the abbreviation for the required language.
    Select Structure ® Display.
    You reach the Display Structure screen.
    Place the cursor on the entry that you want to read and select Goto ® Document ® Read.
    The content of the text module is displayed on the screen.
    Select Back to return to the initial screen.
