Determine RFQ list from Requisition Number

Hi,
As we see in a PR --> item details --> Status tab, we can see a list of RFQ created for that Purchase Requisition. I need that list in an internal table.
Using trial and error method I have written the following select query which gives the required result, but I doubt it's practically correct:
    SELECT  EBELN
    FROM EKPO
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ITAB
    WHERE BEDNR EQ WA_ITAB-BEDNR
    AND   MATNR EQ WA_ITAB-MATNR
    AND   MATKL EQ WA_ITAB-MATKL
    AND   PEINH EQ WA_ITAB-PEINH
    AND   WERKS EQ WA_ITAB-WERKS.
Hence, kindly correct me.

Hi Xaver,
In Standard functionality there is no direct link to view the RFQ number
in PO window, we can enable DFF in RFQ headers to reference the Requisition
number for tracking purpose
Oracle have clearly mentioned that there is no link between requisition and RFQ,
but you can link for requisition and purchase order if u have create through autocreate.

  • Fetch Sales Order number VBELN from Purchase requisition number BANFN

    Hi,
I'm not able to find a suitable method to fetch the sales order number(VBELN) from the purchase requisition number(BANFN).
I tried using VBEP table to fetch the data, but it is giving serious performance issues, as in for fetching one record it is taking approx 20 seconds!!!
Kindly suggest a suitable method for this.
I've used the query as folllows:
    select single vbeln banfn
    from vbep
    into (wa_vbep-vbeln, wa_vbep-banfn)
    where banfn eq wa_eban_zdd1_x-banfn.
where: wa_vbep is the workarea having two fields vbeln and banfn, and wa_eban_zdd1_x-banfn is the reference preq number.
    Scenario in brief described below:
Whenever a direct delivery sales order is created on a supply chain plant, a dummy purchase requisition without source of supply is created automatically at preferred supplying plant for the customer in the sales order. Direct Delivery Sales Orders which are still in Open status and for the associated dummy purchase requisitions with these sales order, the deletion flag set has to be unchecked.
in this case, only one sales order is created corresponding to a preq..
BAPI: BAPI_PR_GETDETAIL is not giving entries for the table as this is a special case of direct delivery from the production plant directly to the customer, bypassing the warehouse / distribution center...
selection screen has input fields preq, matnr(product) and plant. we fetch entries depending on the data filled in selection screen and also they should be of document type(BSART in EBAN table) ZDD1 and deletion indicator is set(LOEKZ in EBAN).
then we check if the sales order corresponding to the preq is in open status...
for this i need to programmatically fetch the sales order number corresponding to the preq...
this is causing a performance issue as i could find only one way -- fetching sales order number from VBEP table corresponding to BANFN... indexing for easier also didnt work...
no other way i could find to fetch sales order number corresponding to the preq number....
there is a bapi: BAPI_PR_GETDETAIL, but this is not fetching entries to the changing tables related to sales order...
also EBKN table doesnt have any entries as this is a special case of direct delivery preq..
Guess i couldnt find anyother way...
    Thanks.

I'm not sure as to why the select query was still throwing performance issues. I could see that the index had been created on only BANFN in the DB. Prior to creating the index, it was taking approx 20 seconds per entry, but after creating the index, it took 13seconds approx.
I used the select query as follows:
    select single vbeln banfn
    from vbep
    into (wa_vbep-vbeln, wa_vbep-banfn)
    where banfn eq wa_eban_zdd1_x-banfn.
where: wa_vbep is the workarea having two fields vbeln and banfn, and wa_eban_zdd1_x-banfn is the reference preq number.
I tried a few other combinations also, but  those also didnt work effectively:
    select vbeln banfn
    from vbep
    into (wa_vbep-vbeln, wa_vbep-banfn)
    where banfn eq wa_eban_zdd1_x-banfn.
without using SINGLE in the select query as the select query would implicitly pickup only a single record,
    select vbeln banfn
    from vbep
    into wa_vbep
    where banfn eq wa_eban_zdd1_x-banfn.
and another query where the INTO statement was directed directly to a workarea.
But unfortunately, nothing seemed to be working.
The index i had created was on BANFN alone in the VBEP table.

  • List of material number with PO text from material master

I want to get a list of materials number with PO text from material master. Can anybody help ?

The purchase order texts maintained in the material master are stored
as SAPScript text files in tables STXH (header) and STXL (lines). For
    material master records:
    Field TDOBJECT = 'MATERIAL'
Field TDNAME = material number (MARA-MATNR).
So you should be able to write a small report to extract the data.

  • Receipt From production number - Choose From List

    Hi all,
How to filter the Receipt from production number only comes in choose from list.  now i used object is 59. when i choose all value comes that means goods receipt, and receipt from production document numbers comes. I want only list out the Receipt from production Numbers only how to i restrict this.
    Thanks & regards
    B.Sudhir

    Hello
It is very hard to do the CFL, because the information, that is it a receipt from a production is stored on the line level, not on the head level
    you can 2 choices
    1. define a query which includes all the DocEntry related to the Receipt documents, and on form constuction you add them into the conditions of the CFL (it takes much time to build up the CFL)
    2. Define FMS, and assign to your field. And when the user press the TAB key, you call the FMS.
    Regards
    János
We always done the 2nd method until the cfl was not implemented.

  • Material list from Matl. determination cond.type

    Hi Guru's,
I want to create a report thru querry to extract the Materials  which are under particular division/s from the Materials determination condition type( EX. A001).
I am not able to get the correct table from the condition type for material determination to join with the MARA table, so that i can extract the entire material list from Condition typer or condition records of A001 and join with MARA to filter those materials according to the divisions.
Your earliest help will be rewarded.

    Thanks sankar,
But i would like to generate a Querry, with the condition type from say xxxx table and material no. and division form MARA table.
Could you be more in detail how to go about it thru querry using which table.

  • Could you check our source? (To determine the PR type and number range)

    Hello.
We use SRM Server5.5 with Classic Scenario.
We will use the BADI BBP_SC_TRANSFER_BE to determine the PR type and number range according to your recommend.
We have two PR type in R/3.
    1) KGPR
    2) KTR1
As you know that shopping cart has no type. So we add customer field to mapping to R/3 PR type and this field has two values.
    1)     PR01: mapping to KGPR
    2)     PR02: mapping to KTR1
We will use the method GROUP_RQ to determine the PR type.
If customer field is PR01, PR type is determined KGPR
If customer field is PR002, PR type is determined KTR1.
To determine the PR number range, we will use the method GET_NUMBER_OR_RANGE.
If PR type is KGPR, Choose the No key 12
If PR type is KTR1, Choose the No key 16.
    Configuration step:
    1.     Maintain the PR number range in SRM.
No key: 12  (for KGPR) internal NR
    No range: 2520000000 – 2529000000
No key: 16 (for KTR1) internal NR
    No range: 2560000000 – 2569000000
    2.     Maintain the PR number range in R/3
No key: 12  (for KGPR) Ext NR
    No range: 2520000000 – 2529000000
No key: 16 (for KTR1) Ext NR
    No range: 2560000000 – 2569000000
    3.     Assign the PR number range to PR type in R/3
    KGPR – 12 (EXT)
    KTR1 – 16 (EXT)
    4.     Maintain the attribute in SRM
    Document type in R/3
          Add KGPR and KTR1
We developed this logic, but it’s not working.

  • Automatic Generation of POs from Requisitions

    Hi expert,
Can somebody explain to me how to automatically generete  a PO from PR in detail. What is the basic setting need to perform first before can use this feature?
    Pls guide me.
    thank you.

    For Details refer to
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/75/ee11e655c811d189900000e8322d00/frameset.htm
Below mentioned summar is taken from above mentioned link
    Prerequisite
The system selects only those requisitions for automatic PO generation for which the indicator Automatic purchase order has been set for both the material and the vendor.
It can only generate purchase orders from requisitions to which a unique source of supply has already been assigned.
    Activiites[
To generate purchase orders from these requisitions automatically, proceed as follows:
Choose Requisition ® Follow-on functions ® Create purchase order ® Automat. via requisitions. The initial screen appears.
In the upper part of the screen, enter your organizational selection criteria (for example, the responsible purchasing group and the plant). In the lower part of the screen, enter the criteria for the selection of requisitions (for example, a number interval, a certain material or a date interval for requisitions released within this period).
In the middle part of the screen, specify the cases in which a separate purchase order is to be created for a requisition item. (If requisitions for different plants are not to be included in the same purchase order, for example.)
If necessary, set the indicator Omit faulty items.
You can also perform the function as a test. To do so, set the Test run indicator. You can then see, for example, how many purchase orders are generated from the list of requisitions.
Set the indicator Detailed log if you wish to perform and log the function in the background. The log shows which purchase orders have been generated, and which of them are faulty. It also provides detailed information on the error source for each faulty requisition item.
(If you perform the function online, you can obtain detailed information on faulty items by double-clicking on the relevant line.)
    Invoke the function via
    – Program -> Execute,
    – Program -> Execute + print, or
    – Execute in background.
If you execute the program in the background, you will get a dialog box in which you must specify and save the print parameters before the function is started.

Also to fill up this table I need to pass certain value, so can I use BAPI_REQUISITON_GETDETAIL and pass the same details as found from the same BAPI and create a new line item...

  • Reading parameters lists from a text file

    Hi All,
    Using CR XI R2 with VB6  and external .rpt files - - - - -
In a VB6 app I use VB to loop through my tables to create dynamic parameter lists (CR XI is limited to the number of parameters it can create from the table). This works well but each time the user refreshes the report the same code is run to re-create the parameter list which is redundant and slows down the report(s).
Is it possible to manually create a series of text files - say each morning - and then read the parameter lists from the text file(s) at runtime instead of doing it on the fly each time?
    Thanks in advance!

    I find this sentence confusing:
Is it possible to manually create a series of text files - say each morning - and then read the parameter lists from the text file(s) at runtime instead of doing it on the fly each time?
Typically, runtime means on the fly - I think...
So, I'm not sure if you are trying to read a saved data report and filter that saved data so that you do not have to hit the database(?).
Creating a text file is beyond the support of this forum, though that should be a trivial exercise. Reading a text file and passing the results to a parameter is the same thing you are doing already, so I'm not sure where the hang up would be here(?)
Or - rather than creating a text file, why not create a temp table and query it as you do when you loop through the tables to create dynamic parameter lists(?).
    I'm pretty lost here...

    Hi,
We are using classic scenario in SRM 5.0.
We are using desired vendor in the purchase requisition, whenever the Purchase requisition is moving into the SRM Sourcing cockpit. We are unable to see the source of supply.
Source of supply is missing in sourcing cockpit (SOCO).
desired vendor number which is not updating, instead it is showing empty.
I have found some BADI like BBP_SOS_BADI and BBP_SOS_BADI_ICC, this BADI will trigger when a shopping cart has contract GUID, but we donu2019t have contract for this purchase requisition.
Could you please tell me the BADI or user EXIT name, by using this BADI I can populate the populate the source of supply and vendor in SOCO.

  • How to populate a sharepoint 2010 list from the active directory. How to populate a sharepoint 2010 list with all sharepoint user profiles

How to populate a sharepoint 2010 from the active directory.
I want a list of all the computers in the active directory,
    another one with all users.
I want also to populate a sharepoint 2010 list from the sharepoint user profiles.
    Thanks

    While
the contacts list is usually filled out for contacts that are outside the company, there are times when you would use a contacts list to store internal and external resources.  Wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t have to re-type your internal contacts’
information that are already in the system?  Now you can with a little InfoPath customization on the contacts list.
    Here’s our plan:
Create the contacts list, and open in InfoPath
Create a data connection to the User Profile web service
Customize the form adding some text, a people picker and a button
Create InfoPath rules that will populate the contact fields from the user fields in the User Profile store
Let’s get going!  Before we begin, make sure you have InfoPath 2010 installed locally on your computer.  I also want to give credit Laura
Rogers and Darvish Shadravan’s book Using
Microsoft InfoPath 2010 with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Step by Step.  I know it looks like a lot of steps, but it’s easy once you get the hang of it.
So obviously we need a contacts list.  If you don’t already have one, go to the SharePoint site where it will live, and create a contacts list.
From the list, click the List tab on the ribbon, then click Customize form:
So now we have our form open in InfoPath 2010.  Let’s add our elements to the form.
Above all the fields, let’s add some text instructing users what to do with the the field we’re about to add (.e.g To enter an existing user’s information, choose the user below).
Insert a people picker control by clicking the Person/Group Picker control in the Controls section of the ribbon.  This will add a column to the contacts list called group.
Below the people picker, insert a button control from the same section of the ribbon as above.  With the button still highlighted, click the Control Tools|Properties tab on the ribbon.
Then in the Label box, change the text to something more appropriate to our task (e.g. Click here to load user data!).
You can drag the button control a little larger to account for the text.
We should end up with something like this:
Before we can populate the fields with user data, we need to create a connection to the User Profile Service.
Add a data connection to the User Profile Service
Click the Data tab on the ribbon, and click the option From Web Service, and From SOAP Web Service.
For the location, enter the URL of your SharePoint site in the following format – http://<site url>/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx?WSDL.  Click Next.
Note - for the URL, it can be any SharePoint site URL, not just to the site where your list is.
For the operation, choose GetUserProfileByName.  Click Next.
Click Next on the next two screens.
On the final screen, uncheck the box for “Automatically retrieve data when form is opened”. This is because we are going to retrieve the data when the button is clicked, also for performance reasons.
Now we need to wire up the actions on our button to populate the fields with the information for the user in the people picker control.
Tell the form to read the user from the people picker control
Click the Home tab on the ribbon.
Click the button control we created, and under the Rules section of the ribbon, click Manage Rules. Notice the pane appear on the far right.
In the Rules pane, click New –> Action. Change the name to something like “Query and load user data”.
Leave the condition to default (none – rule runs when button is clicked).
Click the Add button next to “Run these actions:”, and choose “Set a field’s value”.
For Field, click the button on the right to load the select a field dialog.  Click the Show advanced view on the bottom.  At the top, click the drop down and choose the GetUserProfileByName
(Secondary) option.  Expand myFields and queryFields to the last option and highlightAccountName.  Click ok.
For Value, click the formula icon. On the formula screen, click the Insert Field or Group button. Again click the show advanced view link, but this time leave the data
connection as Main. Expand dataFields, then mySharePointListItem_RW.  At the bottom you should see a folder called group (the people picker control we just added to the form).  Expand this, then pc:Person,
and highlightAccountId.  Click Ok twice to get back to the Rules pane.
If we didn’t do this and just queried the user profile service, it would load the data of the currently logged in user.  So we need to tell the form what user to load the data for.  We take the AccountID field from the people
picker control and inject into the AccountName query field of the User Profile Service data connection.
Load the user profile service information for the chosen user
Click the Add button next to “Run these actions:”, and choose Query for data.
In the popup, for Data connection, click the one we created earlier – GetUserProfileByName and clickOk.
We’re closing in on our goal.  Let’s see our progress.  We should see something like this:
Now that we have the user’s data read into the form, we can populate the fields in the contact form.  The number of steps to complete will depend on how many fields you want to populate.  We need to add an action step for
each field.  I’ll show you one example and then you will just repeat the steps for the other fields.  Let’s update the Job Title field.
Populate the contact form fields with existing user’s data
Click the Add button next to “Run these actions:”, and choose “Set a field’s value”.
For Field, click the button on the right to load the select a field dialog.  Highlight the field Job Title.
For Value, click the formula icon. On the formula screen, click the Insert Field or Group button.  Click the Show advanced view on the bottom. At the top, click the
drop down and choose theGetUserProfileByName (Secondary) option.  Expand the fields all the way down until you see the Value field.  Highlight it but don’t click ok, but click the Filter
    Data button, then Add.
For the first dropdown that says Value, choose Select a field or group.   The value field will be highlighted, but click the field Name field
    under PropertyData.  Click Ok.
In the blank field after “is equal to”, click in the box and choose Type text.  Then type the text Title.
Click ok until you get back to the Manage Rules pane.  The last previous screen will look like this.
We’re going to update common fields that are in the user’s profile, and likely from Active Directory.  You can update fields like first and last name, company, mobile and work phone number, etc.  For the other fields, the
steps are the same except the Field you choose to update from the form, and the very last step where you enter the text will change.  Here’s what the rules look like when we’re done:
We’re all done, good work!  You can preview the form and try it now.  Click Ctrl+Shift+B to preview the form.  Once you’re satisfied, you can publish the form back to the library.  Click File –> Quick
Publish.  Once it’s done, you will get confirmation:
Now open your form in SharePoint.  From the contact list, click Add new item.  Type in a name, and click the button and watch the magic happen!

  • Errors executing bulk query when updating a Sharepoint Linked List from Access

    Hi all,
I have a Sharepoint list that is a Linked List with MS Access. It has just under 5,000 items (4,864), thus meaning it avoids the reduction in functionality lists of greater than 5,000 items have.
Among the list are five calculated columns. These take the information from another column (different employee numbers), and by using a formula produce a clickable link to my company's Directory page, where that particular employee's info is displayed. I'm
not sure if these five columns are relevant to my query, but I'm mentioning them in case.
My problem is this: Frequently when I run any query on the list that updates the list, I get this error: "There were errors executing the bulk query or sending the data to the server. Reconnect the tables to resolve the
conflicts or discard the pending changes".
When I review the errors, it says they conflict with errors a previous user made (with that previous user being me). It frequently highlights several columns, despite the info in them being identical, and the calculated columns (with the original showing
the value they contained and the new showing #VALUE! (as Access can't display the formulas).
However, if I click Retry All Changes, all the update stick and everything seems fine. Why is this happening? It's proving very annoying and is really stopping the automation of my large number of queries. A list of 5000 items isn't particular big (and they've
got roughly 100 columns, although I didn't think that was too large either, given Excel's 200+ column limit).
Is this due to poor query design and SQL? Is this due to connectivity issues (which I doubt, as my line seems perfect)? Is this due to Access tripping over itself and not executing the update on each row in the table, but rather executing them concurrently
and locking itself up? I'm at wit's end about it and really need to get this sorted.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Hi amartin903,
According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you used a linked list from Access.
The table that you are updating is a linked table that does not have a primary key or a unique index. Or, the query or the form is based on a linked table that does not have a primary key or a unique index. Please add the primary key or a unique index.
Here is a similar post, please take a look at:

    I hope this helps.
