DHTML List (Image) with Sublist and authorization problems

Dear all -
I wonder if anyone can help with this DHTML drop-down menu query:
We use hierarchical menus implemented as DHTML Lists (Image) with Sublists. When some of the items are hidden through authorization, the wrong headers appear for the menus.
For example:
Menu
  Item 1
    Subitem 1 of Item 1
    Subitem 2 of Item 1
  Item 2
    Subitem 1 of Item 2
    Subitem 2 of Item 2
Say Item 1 and its subitems are all hidden through authorization controls. The heading for Item 2 then appears as 'Subitem 2 of Item 1' instead of 'Menu'.

Carl - in the example on htmldb.oracle.com, in Menu2 I'm hiding all the elements in Category 1 (parent and children), although not the 'grandparent' (Menu2).
I'm therefore still expecting the menu title to be 'Menu2', because that's Category 2's parent.
It doesn't appear to be an issue with the sequence of the items, because I've changed all those about and still got the same problem.
To be more specific, again using the htmldb.oracle.com example, in Menu2 we have:
Menu2
  Category 1 (Hidden)
    Item 1 of Category 1 (Hidden)
    Item 2 of Category 1 (Hidden)
    Item 3 of Category 1 (Hidden)
    Item 4 of Category 1 (Hidden)

I have created a DHTML List(Image) and when I click on the Image drop down, I do not see any images to choose from.
I imported a image and set the logo = #APP_IMAGES#GH_flush_left.gif.
This works for the logo.
When I try this for the DHTML List and place #APP_IMAGES#GH_flush_left.gif
or #WORKSPACE_IMAGE#GH_flush_left.gif it does not display anything - blank button (no red X).
I really want to use the OS images, but can not get that to work either. I thought I found an entry about a template bug, but I can not find that entry again.

I was having the same problem that you are with the image and the DHTML List(image) template. Since I do not have a lot of experience with APEX, I was not understanding where the template was or exactly how to fix it. However, after reading the site I provide below, I understand what the guys that provided responses to your post were saying.

An issue with authentication and authorization on ISE 1.2

Hi, I'm new to ISE.
I have an issue with authentication and authorization.
I have ISE 1.2 plus patch 6 installed on VMware.
I have built-in Windows XP supplicant and 2960 cisco switch with IOS c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE5.bin
On supplicant I use EAP(PEAP) with EAP-MSCHAP v2.
I created authentication and authorization rules with Active Directory as External Identity Source. Also I applied authorization profile with DACL.I login on Windows XP machine under different Active Directory accounts. Everything works fine (authentication, authorization ), but only for several hours. After several hours passed , authentication and authorization stop working . I can see that ISE trying authenticate and authorize users, but ISE always use only one account for authentication and authorization . Even if I login under different accounts ISE continue to use only one last account.
I traied to reboot switch and PC,but it didn’t help. Only rebooting of ISE helps. After ISE rebooting, authentication and authorization start to work properly for several hours.
I don’t understand is it a glitch or I misconfigured ISE or switch, supplicant?
What should I do to resolve this issue?

Yes. Tried that (several times) didn't work. 5 people in my office, all with vers. 6.0.1 couldn't access their gmail accounts. Kept getting error message that username and password invalid. Finally solved the issue by using Microsoft Exchange and "m.google.com" as server and domain and that the trick. Think there is an issue with imap.gmail.com and IOS 6.0.1. I'm sure the 5 of us suddently experiencing this issue aren't the only ones. Apple will figure it out. Thanks.

No, the old album list view is not an option in iTunes 11...
You can restore much of the look & feel of the previous version with these shortcuts:
ALT to temporarily display the menu bar
CTRL+B to show or hide the menu bar
CTRL+S to show or hide the sidebar
CTRL+/ to show or hide the status bar (won't hide for me on Win XP)
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour
Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may let iTunes start up more quickly)
If you don't like having different coloured background & text in the Album view use Edit > Preferences > General and untick Use custom colours for open albums, movies, etc.
If you still feel the need to roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the 32 bit installer or 64 bit installer as appropriate, uninstall iTunes and supporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

Problem processing RAW images with Lion and 3.1.3

Images that have "This photo was adjusted using an earlier version of Apple's RAW processing. Attempting to send to a plug-in or Photoshop results in a dialog "Editing Error This image cannot be rendered for editing because Aperture does not support the image format." Images that were previously processed with the current version of RAW processing work correctly.

There is another discussion for problem with raw and the new 10.7.3.1 : my Raw from Panasonic GH2 are green and Aperture says : treatment with old version
I find the solution to correct my RAW : they are green because of the bad WB applied by Aperture.
I put here the solution but I have to correct manually and ask to treatment in the RAW windows for each picture. If it doesn't work, I correct manually the WB.

IPad syncing with iCloud and Exchange = problems ?

I am using Apple products since 2 years ago. Everything started with an iPod Touch 64 and things grew to an iPhone4, iPad and now, an iPad 2.
I also have a Motorola Xoom (Honeycomb 3.2 based), a Samsung Galaxy S2 and a HTC Desire Z with Android 2.3.3.
All devices are configured to sync mails, calendar, contacts, notes and tasks with an Exchange Server. Until iOS5 and iCloud, there were no problems whatsoever. Contacts created on any device used to replicate to the others without a problem, although the iDevices (iOS based) never understood “categories”, a resource commonly used in an outlook environment to help sorting things out.
Last week, Ibought the iPad2. Updated it and configured it to use the same Exchange Server as the other devices. Also, I chose to use iCloud.
After that, I noticed that on a daily basis, contacts would appear without categories, first day, a few, around 5. Second day, 10 more. Third day, more 20. After the second day, I also noticed that the “display as” field (also known as “FiledAs”) was starting to show names with Last, First order. Here in Brazil we sort names as First Last. Of course, outlook, all android devices and also the iPad were all configured correctly (First, Last).
The problem was getting bigger every day. Yesterday, 900+ of my almost 2000 contact list were mixed up, missing their categories and also had their first and last names changed in the Filed As field.
After deleting, editing, restoring backups etc. more than once, I have finally found that the iCloud is probably the culprit.
Changed my iPad config to keep from syncing with iCloud and configured it to backup locally.
Deleted all accounts in all devices, deleted all data from contacts. Configured the accounts and left the devices syncing. Restored a backup. All devices synced and received the contacts.
Surprise: problem solved. So far, no missing categories, no inverted First, Last names. Maybe if anyone find himself in the same situation, it might help.

I have the same problem. My MacPro isn't on Lion, as I have lots of software that isn't compatible yet. But I have 10.7.2. on my MacBookPro and iOS5 on my iPhone and iPad.
I would like to go to iCloud for those devices that are capable to run it, but I do not want to loose sync services for my MacPro which is on 10.6.8. Will iCloud and MobileMe be in sync until 30.06.2012, so I can use them in parallel, or do I have to wait until all computers are updated to Lion?

Loading Images with 1.3.1 Problem

I've got a couple of swing applets that use Images. One uses the images for icons and one just draws the images. The images are loaded from jar files. Using version 1.3.0, everything works fine. When I load the applet using 1.3.1 or 1.4, however, the images do not appear on the screen. According to the Java Console, the images did load. I saw messages like:
Loaded image: jar:file:/C:/rgajava/MKSLeak/jar/leak.htmlMKSLeak.jar!/images/audiooff.gif
Loaded image: jar:file:/C:/rgajava/MKSLeak/jar/leak.htmlMKSLeak.jar!/images/audioon.gif
that were displayed when I upped the trace level. The images still do not appear.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I am loading the images using getImage(URL,String).

As a partial answer to my own question, the Java tutorial declares that some browsers cannot load images from jar files. This appears to be the case with IE5.5 and Java 1.3.1, but it is strange that IE5.5 and Java 1.3.0 seem to have no problem. Nevertheless, the applet works well and images load if the images are accessed outside of the jar file.

E-mail merge with Word and Outlook problem

I'm trying to do an e-mail merge with Office 2011: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Before you start typing, I've already searched the web, searched the Apple forums, and posted to the Microsoft forum, with no success.
Anyway: I have outlook configured to send and receive mail from a single Gmail account.
Outlook works otherwise to send and receive mail.
Outlook is set, in both Mail and Outlook, to be the default e-mail program.
Everything seems to work fine until the final step, clicking the generate e-mail merge button that should send the mail merge to Outlook. The mail merge emails are supposed to appear in Outlook, but they don't.
If you have figured out how to do this, please let me know.
I would prefer to do this with Mail and Numbers, or Excel and Mail, but that functionality does not exist. I'm sure it would probably work if it did.
I have a standalone mail merge app (MaxBulk Mailer) but I'd prefer to use the database I already have, which is in Excel, rather than have to create two databases, one in Excel, and another in MaxBulk. MaxBulk has some other problems as well and is not a great solution.

Not sure if this is entirely the same issue but.... we just saw a very similar issue resolved here by my recommending that one of our mail merge-using faculty run the Outlook 2011 database rebuild utility (holding down option while starting Outlook 2011 for OSX). Mail Merging from Excel 2011 mailing lists to Outlook 2011 starting working like a charm after that.
The differences with our setup were that we were sending a mail merge via an Exchange Server, not GMail, and that this issue started after upgrading from 10.6 to 10.9 via the App Store. Mail Merging had been working fine in 10.6.
Worth a try? Guard your backups and good luck!

Capture image with .wim and unattend.xml?

Hi,
We captured an image with the default wim of windows 7 + an unattend.xml. Now it seems this unattend.xml was not correctly applied (media center was removed but is still there, some components were installed
but are not etc). Question: when capturing an image, you CAN use a default .wim right? Or should you use “apply operating system from original installation source” to have it applied correctly?
Our problem is that our original task sequence had to many Windows updates and crashed. That’s why we are using offline updates which we include in the capture task sequence.
If we would need to use the "apply operating system from original ..." then we'd need to:
1.capture without updates
2.import this wim into sccm
3.offline update this wim
4.use this for capture WITH updates

Have you tried making a package of your unattended.xml and pointing to it in your Apply Operating system step?
If I remember correctly SCCM will make it's own unattended.xml even if one exists in the wim file, using the package of the unattended.xml that you have already created will make it use that one. Looks something like this in the task sequence with the highlighted
yellow parts filled out by your package of the unattended.xml:

Lightroom 5 differences in image with library and develop

HI, i am new to this forum and light room so maybe this is somewhere. however i am having some issues with my images been different in the develop mode and the library tab. this is also affecting what is exported, with it been the library version not the developed version. mainly it is that the noise reduction and sharpening is not been shown in the other views. i have tried a bunch of things but nothing seems to work. the shots i have noticed it on were shot at ISO 800-1600 and varying shutter speeds of 3seconds and above.
if anyone has any expereince or and answer/solution to this that would be awesome. this is something that is very frustrating to have happened with this product

JS CS3 flag duplicate images with scale and rotation differnce

I've been trying to cut down on the number of images a script I have would produce. The old script would look for links that are being used multiple times and then just version the link which is fine. What I am finding this that although a document may have one image linked 9 time 6 times out of the nine the image is scaled and rotated the same amount and the other 3 times the rotation and scaling also match. In this example the image only needs 2 versions the first as the original and the second with the scale and rotation of the image used 3 time let say.
So to the code:
The following code will work through the doc and create an array of the links as duplicates:

Is there a way to loop through the array and only flag the differnent scale and roatations. What I should get is that out of the multiple link uasage the image is only changed twice out of the 9 times used.
I was trying to loop through the array and then loop through it within the loop to compare the link but this does not work for obvious reasons.

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I wish To Do List was a seperate program with archiving and categories with autoreplies and follow-up reminders. Needs more features.
It would also be good to work as a project management system. Great for work or around the house duties.

There is a way to insert an image inside of the html code
with width and height already? I mean, now, if I want to insert an
image at the code, goes only <img src="images/test.gif" /> I
d like that if I insert an image it goes as: <img

is possible in dreamwaver to do that?

If you insert the image using the "Insert Image" function, DW
will
automatically insert the width and height.
Or, if you'd rather insert them the way you are, in the
Property Inspector
on the far left, click the dimensions next to the Image
field, and DW will
automatically add (or correct) the width and height.
