Dialog view

Hi,
I'm having a quite odd question.
In office we have 4 machines running photoshop CS5 and ver 7.
In Photoshop i have to do the colour corrections, cutouts and save them as .eps formats so that i can import them to InDesign and back to Photoshop to modify the images further.
When I click to open them (.eps format images) in photoshop, two machines show two different dialog vew.
In one of the machines the dialog shows only modified .eps images at top and other does.
The above images shows only latest .eps format images at the beginning, this is want i need in my machines and other.
The above images shows folders followed by jpeg and other formats types.
My question, how to make the dialog view to show only latest .eps format images as shown in the first images.

Let me make my question clear again. How to make the a particular format such EPS format to appear in the first columns in 'open' dialog box .
The bottom image shows .eps formats in the first columns of open dialog box. How to do this ?

How can i display a dialog view centerly?set_window_position has no effect

I did set the height and width of rootuielementcontainer of the dialog view .i,e,width:1200,height 700,
It display pretty well the first time,but when i open it the second time,the dialog view is not centered,so i can't see the whole dialog view,i have to drag it,

First of all, are you using WAD 3.5 or 7.0 ?
I am not so sure of WAD 3.5, but in WAD 7.0, you have command for Open Dialog in the Commands List.
Command for Data Provider --> Data Provider commands for Open/Save Function --> Call Open Dialog.
Under this specify your target Data Provider. And giv the required settings, in the following screens.
You can bring this command through a Link item or Puch Button or anything, as per your requirement.

Maintenace dialog : View cluster

hello , i create few cluster view for testing now i want delete it ( i want reuse some names and dont get other in the list of search help ) but i don't see how delete it

Maintanence view

Hi all,
I have a table that has the following fields:
MANDT key
PERNR(personal number) key
KOSTL (cost center)
For mandt t000 is assigned as the check table and pa0003 has been assigned as the check table of pernr field and CSKS for field kostl.
What my requirement is that: I want to create a maintanence view that has also person name surname,
BUT I cannot use PA0001 table while creating the view.
What is the problem?

Get rid of black bar at bottom of full view

With the new update of Aperture there is now a black bar at the bottom of the photo when editing in viewer mode with the file name. I really want to get rid of it since it changes the cropping of the photo and I can't see behind it to edit. Is there a way to get rid of it? Thanks!

You can show or hide Image metadata in the Viewer.
You can have the metadata shown either on top of, or in a band below, the Image in the Viewer.
What shows, and where, for each of the seven Metadata Overlays are set in the Browser & Viewer Metadata dialog ("View ▹ Metadata Display ▹ Customize").
Which Metadata Overlay is shown (or none) is set via ("View ▹ Metadata Display"), or from the Metadata Display Icon on the ToolStrip. This icon shows in both the Browser and the Viewer.
I did not notice a change when I upgraded. Is it possible you inadvertently turned on the Viewer overlay, or switched from the Basic to the Expanded Overlay?

What is normalize dialog

I am still learning the program and have 2 questions: 1. What is normalize dialog? and 2. What does auto smart tone learning mean? I am using Premier Elements 12.

Some supplemental information for your consideration
The path to the Normalize option in your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 (assumed on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit)
After you select/highlight the audio clip
Clip Menu
Audio Options
Audio Gain
and, after you click on Audio Gain, the Clip Gain dialog comes up, and this dialog includes the Normalize button.
The following Adobe document describes "Normalize" and gives the details of how to adjust the input level of the clips with this option.

Also, if you right click the Timeline audio clip
from the pop up menu, click on
Audio Gain
to have the Clip Gain dialog appear

we are upgrading from 4.0B to ECC 6.0 , a maintenance view created for a Z table, has variants created in the old system. Can someone give the step by step process of doing the same in ECC 6.0...

To create a maintenance view variant for an existing maintenance dialog.
When you create a maintenance view variant, no new dialog is generated, i.e. all screens and function modules of the original dialog are used. For this reason, all basis dialog checks are made in view variant maintenance.
Prerequisites
The basis dialog for which the maintenance variant is created already exists.
Procedure
Start maintenance dialog generation.
Choose Edit view variant in the initial screen.
The Generate table maintenance dialog: View variant initial screen appears.
Enter the maintenance view variant name and choose Create.
The Dictionary: Maintain view <maintenance view variant name> screen appears.
Enter the basis dialog name under Tables, and an explanatory text under Short description.
The dependent subobjects are added in the Tables column.
Choose the View fields tab.
The basis view key fields are automatically put in the maintenance view variant.
The key fields must not be deleted from the maintenance view variant.
To put function fields in the maintenance view variant, choose Tab. fields.
Specify other view variant attributes under Selection conditions.
The maintenance view selection conditions and then the maintenance view variant selection conditions apply in data maintenance. The maintenance view selection conditions only apply if they were generated in the maintenance dialog. If, e.g. the selection conditions were put in the ABAP/4 Dictionary later and the maintenance dialog was not regenerated, these selection conditions do not apply in the maintenance view variant.
Specify other view variant attributes under Maintenance status.

Ical not storing all data & cant initialize lists

okay so im trying to store all ical data in seperate lists for hours months years and the actual event ect....it worked fine for a while but now its not storing all the events....and then when it did it would carry over from one run to another. I figured out that was probably because they were properties but when i make the lists global i get a "this variable is not initialized" problem. and even if i somehow managed to fix that its still not reading in all the data. ive been at this for 2 hours and cant see the problem. please help:

You need to be careful when using conditional statements to set global variables (the global declaration does not set any values). I can't tell from the just the one handler you posted, but an example would be the iCal_Run variable - unless it is declared somewhere else, it won't have a value if there isn't an iCal process.

I have created a custom page layout in my site collec. using VS 2012 and deployed am able to see the page in the pages lib [inbox.aspx].
Here, I have added a page viewer web part and I want to redirect to another application page, which is already coded [inboxredirect.aspx] in my solution[its another dll - another SP solution which has appln pages and web parts
etc - ]
The issue is that, i am unable to see the page viewer web part when the page is displayed. inbox.aspx is a page which is created once my custompagelayouts solution is deployed and when i navigate to this page, i am stuck . i am getting
the " access denied " message is displayed.
can anyone help why this error is displayed?
in my inboxredirect.aspx page i am inherting from unsecuredlayoutspagebase class, so i dont think , access denied message should come.

Unable to see existing documents in a Custom Sharepoint 2013 Document library while saving a document directly in it using explorer mode

Hi,
We have a SharePoint 2013 doc library based on a custom template, which has been migrated from 2010.
We are unable to see existing documents in a Document library created using this template while saving a document directly in it using explorer mode, However we can save files and even see them in explorer mode, only when we try to save a new document there
directly, we cant see the old docs.
All the OOB libraries work fine.
Below is the normal behavior while saving a file, however nothing comes up when saving on this custom template library

Hyperlinks no longer appear in PDF

Hello, I routinely produce crossreferences and links in FrameMaker 9, which become hyperlinks when I pdf them. Suddenly, when I pdf my Frame document, hyperlinks no longer appear. Instead, when i click on the link in the PDF, a blinking cursor displays. I must have inadvertently changed some setting, but I can't figure out how to change it back. Please help.

In FrameMaker -
Format > Document > PDF Setup
In the PDF Setup dialog, view the Links tab.
Select the "Create Named Destinations for All ...."
Click Set button.
Save the file.
This is sufficient if you now select File > Save as PDF.
Also, for an individual file being printed to a *.ps file that is to be picked up by Distiller for processing to PDF, select File > Print.
In the Print Document dialog ensure "Generate Acrobat Data" is selected.
For a Book file, File > Print Book
In the Print Book dialog ensure "Generate Acrobat Data" is selected.

Unable to see all slides in published Microsoft word Document

Hi,
I recorded a full motion project with settings as shown below.
I need to publish this project in Microsoft Word document. I tried publishing the recorded project using 'File > Publish' and selecting 'Print' option.
Publish options: Type as Handouts and all slides as export range. I am publishing it to my local folder.
But, when I open the published word document, it has only one slide that is the first screen from where I began my recording. It does not have slides for my entire recording.
Please advise.

Running snow leopard and cs3 works great but freezes when trying to save the photo.

I am running CS3 on snow leopard, I can edit photos great but when all is said and done...... the wheel spins continuously after selecting either save.... or save as..... and the application quits responding. it keeps spinning?
I am at a loss. Can't afford the upgrade right now. what can i do?

Could be an issue with file dialogs or volume identifiers. That stuff has changed a lot in recent versions of OSX due to its kernel going 64bit native. You might need to limit yourself to specific volume names and only use the classic file dialog view. Similalrly, this could relate to Library folders being invisible by default on 10.7 and the program trying to access what it assumes to be the default Documents folder...

Printing with Epson 3800 via Airport Express

I'm trying to get my Epson 3800 printer working over a Airport Express connection (3800 -> USB on Airport Express). The printer is showing up fine, however when I get to the print dialog I don't have all the advanced controls as I do when printing directly connected to the computer (printer settings and advanced media control).
What do I need to do to get those working?
OSX 10.6.3 with the current 3800 driver (6.11) and firmware (o02179_q).

There could be one of two things causing this.
1. The print dialog is not expanded. When you select to print, if you only see the Printer name and the Presets menu, then you need to click the triangle next to the printer name. This will expand the print dialog view and show you all the menu options.
2. If the print dialog is expanded but the menu options are different, then you may have created the print queue for the Airport connection using the Gutenprint driver. If you open Print & Fax and select the 3800 queue for the Airport connection, in the right hand pane you can see what driver is being used in the Kind section. If this shows Epson 3800 - Gutenprint v5.x.x, then you have created this print queue using the Gutenprint driver rather than the Epson driver. The Gutenprint driver usually provides most of the functions you would require, they are generally just located under different menus. So you can choose to keep using the Gutenprint driver or delete this queue and create it again, ensuring you select the correct Epson driver.
