I just got my new i phone 5 s and did all the syncing and backing up for my old iphone 4s and set my 5 up and synced it on itunes. It synced evrything but the contacts and other minor things. those were the only things that really transfered. My apps and all my music did not. Tthe thing is when i just went to go manually start dowmloading a few of the songs that i knew i already bought , itunes is making me pay forthem again. Its not saying instal like it usuall does when you go download something aleady purchased on your itunes account. I think or thought it might have something to do with the fact that i just changed my apple id name right before i got my new phine but my apps all re-downloaded (manually-no syncing) without making me pay for them again. i dont want to have to purchase allllll my songs again. Can someone please help me!! Itried going back to my old id or signing out of this id and signing in as my old apple id but now it wot even get on that oneits likjeit doesnt exist anymore.. And when i plug my old phone it shows in the itunes everything thats supposed to be there but all that doesnt stay in the itunes when i actually un plug it so when i plug my 5 in to my computer none of the stuff is in the store for me to actually transfer it I am so good with technology and this has me stumped please help
No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -
Did all these things mentioned in this article, even did a system reset including erase data and other settings. iOS is up to date, still the iPad 2 display is not rotating.
This happened first a couple of weeks before, then I did a reset and it worked. Then after 2-3 days it happened again, I updated the iOS and it worked after that. Next time it happened, I tried all possible methods, including switching to software - rotation lock on/off. The hardware when turns to off/on, shows the correct icon on the screen of the lock and unlocked state. But the rotation is not happening.Just check again.
If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If the iPad screen still will not rotate - turn it over and gently tap it on the back a couple of times - but gently tap it. Make sure that the screen is protected. -
I have two apple accounts, but can only access one. I did all the steps to recover the older account's password but nothing worked. I need to access the older account to update apps. Also would there be a way to just combine both accounts?
Were you able to reset the account's password ? If not then how did you try to get it reset e.g. http://iforgot.apple.com (which would have sent it to the rescue email address if you have one on that account) ? You can also try contacting iTunes Support in your country to get it reset : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
And no, accounts can't be merged nor content transferred between accounts. -
ITS ALMOST BEEN A WHOLE MNTH I HAV TRIED EVERYTHING I DID ALL THE RESETS AND RESTORE YOU CAN DO. I did all the steps, but my problem is that they are asking me some questions that I did not selected when I created my Apple ID, so I clicked where it said reset security quiestion info...... And then when I went and cheked my email, they did not send anything to me!

Dead ipod. did all the troubleshooting no help. any ideas?
had trouble syncing a movie. did all the troubleshooting and no help. thought maybe if i restored ipod it would help. now when its almost done i get another error message (9). did all the troubleshooting with that and now stuck with an ipod thats screen looks like i took it straight out of box asking me to connect to itunes. is this a pc problem or apple problem. any ideas would help!
yea the only thing the screen shows is the itunes symbol with a charger connected to it.

It's not clear whether your printer is included in the Apple list - there is an Officejet 6100 and a couple of other types. Go to the page linked to above and use the browser search for 6100.
I'm afraid HP are notorious for not supporting older printers - I had the same problem. Probably they hope you will buy another printer (I did, but it was a Canon). I did look on HP's site and couldn't see a driver - you could give it a try (make sure you have the exactly correct printer name):

I found it would indeed drive the printer, but the colour dithering wasn't very satisfactory and the duplex printing bolt-on wouldn't work. However as Gutenprint is free it's worth trying to see if it's any good for you. -

If you forget your passcode there is only one way to remedy the situation.
Put your phone in recovery mode and restore the device using iTunes.

I have the same problem. Apple needs to sort itself out. How they can release such bug ridden upgrades it astounds me for a business of this size. I now can't sync anything since upgrading, and all my photo's and contacts have been deleted.
I use my iphone 5 for business so now I have a mobile device with no contacts and no answer from Apple to the problem. This is so not cool.
Apple needs to notify their customers of these MAJOR issues with 6.1 or retract the update.
