Difference in requests

Hello everyone.
I delete record in table via maintance view. Create request and release it.
When i create deleted record in this table. Create request and release it.
Where i can see difference in requests? On first look both requests is equal. Same objects, same keys. But functionality - different.
P.S. sorry for my English

The database table E070, E071 and E071K only contain the id of the object (R3TR TABU <table name>) and the keys of the records, there won't be any difference between their records. the difference stay on the file stored on the application server during the release.
This file will contain the data contained in the database table for the selected keys when the request was released, in a packed/cluster mode not readable by standard tools. (directory is DIR_TRANS subdirectory cofiles and data, more information in wiki [Copy Transport Requests to local file system|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Basis/CopyTransportRequeststolocalfilesystem])
Remember that the keys may be generic (with "*") so the transport tool wont be able to store deletion/creation/update information at the release time in every case, and so it does never store it...
At the import time on target system system will read the current data in the target system and replace it with the data exported resolving update mode at this time.

Raymond

  • Difference of request.getParameter on Solaris 8 and Solaris 10

    Hi all,
    We put our application running on Solaris 8 and BroadVision 6.0 patch AO (JDK 1.4.2) on a machine running Solaris 10.
    We encoutered a problem on the solaris 10 machine do to a applicative bug. At a moment we get the url xxxxx.do?method=toto&method=titi.
    Here is the part of the code which is executed differently on Solaris 8 and Solaris 10
    String name = request.getParameter("method");
    to get the value of "method"
    In solaris 8; we have name="toto"
    In solaris 10, we have name="titi"
    Does anyone encoutered the same "bug" ????
    Regards,
    Fred

    We encoutered a problem on the solaris 10 machine do to a applicative bug. At a moment we get the url xxxxx.do?method=toto&method=titi.Havent you used the same parameter name ??
    method=toto&method=titi
    Looks same to me ;-)
    So I envision this as a coding bug than a Solaris bug.
    Or ...maybe you can throw some more light if I misunderstood you.

  • Difference between booked items and requested items

    Hi Gurus,
    I wanted to understand the difference between
    Booking History - booked items – booked date
    Booking History – requested items –booked date
    The Series definition has the same definition given in the hint. I checked one of the below links for the same topic but couldn't get a full view.
    Which series go to Actual_quantity in Standrad collections
    Can any one let me know what the difference between booked items and requested items is? As I understand in OM, we have no differentiation. Do let me know
    Thanks
    DNP

    Hi
    In normal circumstances, there is no difference between requested item vs. booked item. But if you're using Item Substitution, these could be different. For example, a customer may call to request item A but for multiple reasons it may be substituted by a different item (usually an upgrade with similar form, function etc).
    Oracle APS supports this functionality out of box in order promising and ASCP where it can be done based on a pre-defined relationship based on availability etc.
    Hope this answers your question, please feel free to let me know if I may help calrify further

  • Can we apply an event handler only for a custom request in oim 11G?

    Hi,
    We would like to create a custom request for user creation, modification etc.
    I saw that event handlers allow to add business rules by running java code during differents steps of processes.
    I would like to know if we can trigger an event handler on a specific request and not on all user CREATION, UPDATE etc.
    For example, we would like to have differents creation requests and a differents event handler on each request.
    And can we add "logical" input on request form and read them in event handler?
    For example, 3 inputs: day, month and year on the form which fill one user attribute "end contract date".
    Regards,
    Pierre

    thank you Akshat,
    I saw part 19 in the developper's guide. If I understand, I can change the default CreateUserRequestData to define ALL form components that will be used in my differents user creation request templates.
    I can use prepopulation adapter to pre populate field with java code.
    I can use the plug-in point oracle.iam.request.plugins.StatusChangeEvent to run custom java code.
    But they don't mention where you can run java code for a specific creation template named "MyUserCreationTemplate1" and other java code for an other specific creation tempalate" MyUserCreationTemplate2".
    That makes me think we must retrieve the template name in java code and execute the appropriate business logic.
    if request name==MyUserCreationTemplate1

  • Request vs Actual Start Date in Scheduler Jobs

    Hi, I want to run a PL/SQL block, all days, at 1:00 AM
    I've defined the following scheduler job, in a new (and empty) Job Class:
    <font face="Courier New">
    SQL> select job_name, repeat_interval, job_class, job_priority from dba_scheduler_jobs where job_class = 'MY_NOCHE_JOB_CLASS';
    JOB_NAME...........: UNIFICA_CLIENTES
    REPEAT_INTERVAL....: FREQ=DAILY;BYHOUR=1;BYMINUTE=0;BYSECOND=0
    JOB_CLASS..........: MY_NOCHE_JOB_CLASS
    JOB_PRIORITY.......: 1
    </font>
    However, the process is starting later, for example:
    <font face="Courier New">
    Request Start Date....: Nov 10, 2010 1:00:00 AM -02:00
    Actual Start Date.....: Nov 10, 2010 4:06:33 AM -02:00
    </font>
    Why is the difference between Request Start Date and Actual Start Date ?
    Is there any way to enforce the start of the Job at any time ?
    OS: Solaris 10 8/07 s10s_u4wos_12b SPARC
    DB: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64bit Production
    Thanks in advance

    The database is not down since at least 2 months
    <font face="Courier New">
    SQL> select LAST_START_DATE from DBA_SCHEDULER_JOBS where job_class = 'MY_NOCHE_JOB_CLASS';
    LAST_START_DATE
    ────────────────────────────────────
    17-NOV-10 04.21.00.447083 AM -02:00
    </font>
    Any advice ?

  • Using PowerShell to request a public certificate for webconf. What type should I specify

    Using the PowerShell command below to request a certificate for webconf.domain.com on the Edge. There are at least a dozen "types" I can specify. I was thinking WebServicesExternal but maybe AccessEdgeExternal?? Not sure what to use or if it even
    makes a difference.
    Request-CsCertificate -New –Type WebServicesExternal -ComputerFqdn "edgeserver.domain.com"
    -FriendlyName "Web Conferencing" –Organization etc......-PrivateKeyExportable $True –DomainName webconf.domain.com –output c:\webconf.txt

    Type will be AccessEdgeExternal and command will be as followingRequest-CsCertificate -New -Type AccessEdgeExternal -Output C:\ <certfilename.txt or certfilename.csr> -ClientEku $true -Template <template name>

  • Transport request no for the abap object

    Hi experts,
                      I want to know the transport request numbers for the abap objects. Can anybody tell me the procedure of how to know the transport request number?
    My approach : I want the transport request number for the function module.Open the functional module. go to Object Directory Entry and click on Lock Overview.
    it is displaying the 1.Request   2.User   3.Task/request   4.Object.      What is the main difference between Request and Task/request.
    For some programs it is not displaying the request number. Instead it is displaying the request locks.
    Thanks and regards.

    Hi tajuddin,
                         Thanks for your prompt reply. Problem solved.
    Also please make me clear ---  In object directory entry ---> lock overview, I want to know the difference between the Request and Task/request.

    any one help me plese.
    Thanks.getSession() is a convenience method shortcut for getSession(true). There is no difference. There is a difference between getSession() and getSession(false) though...
    (ie, if getSession(false) will not make a new session if one does not already exist...)

  • Request new Resource

    What is the difference between requesting a new resource from Requests->Grant new resource Vs Search User -> Resource Profile -> Provision New resource?
    When i request by second approach i just see Provision request submitted and do not get any request ID which i can track nor the approver gets the request for approval.
    Thanks

    Hi
    by deafult the ootb fucntionality is such that it provides the requester's info instead of the beneficiary's info at the object form level. This is because the request is not submitted at that stage and unless the request is submitted there OIM does not know who is the target user of the request. this is not a bug and there is no solution to this.
    if you need to populate the object form with say request id after the submission of the request you can do so, as a first step in the approval workflow using the apis write back to the object form. In the approval workflow too you can capture the request id and with the request id you can get all the request details using the api's.
    If the request id then say for example needs to be passed to the process form , you can have the data flow map the field on the object form to the corresponding field o nthe process form and then use that field for getting the target user's info.

  • Differences between /sap/xi/adapter_plain and /sap/xi/engine

    Hello there,
    Does anybody know the difference between requesting a webService to "/sap/xi/adapter_plain..." and "/sap/xi/engine..." ?
    Thanks very much in advance, Raúl.

    Hi Raul,
    >Does anybody know the difference between requesting >a webService to "/sap/xi/adapter_plain..." >and "/sap/xi/engine..." ?
    You wont request a webservice to the above URLs.
    sap/xi/adapter_plain, this URL stands for HTTPAdapter on Sender side. So you can send some HTTP request to this URL.
    /sap/xi/engine, this is PIPELINE URL of XI server. You can also directly post data to this URL.
    Adapters on sender mode post the data to this URL once it forms message in XI format.
    Thanks

  • Message Got Stuck in Adapter Engine

    Hi All,
    Currently i am facing one problem with Adapter engine. The issue is we have one FILE to RFC to FILE scenario. Source file got picked at 7:15 AM in the morning. But XI placed the target file at 8:05AM. so XI it took 50 mintues to process the file. But in SXBM_MONI the time difference between request and response messsages in 6 seconds.
    Where as as per the logs in RWB, Adapter engine too 50 minutes to process a single fine.
    Here my question is waht could be the reason for this delay in processing and waht should i do to avoid such delays in real time.
    Please help me out in this. Thanks in adavance.

  • Order item done depending on the delivery quantity tolerance

    Hi,
    I am looking for an opportunity to put SD items to Status done, although the delivery quantity is not the same. With the VD51, the tolerance can be controlled, but the status of the position does not affected. An example, SD order position has a quantity of 10 pc, delivery quantity of 9, tolerance 80%. In that case I need a completed order Position, no backorder quantities.
    Thanks.

    Hi Ueli,
    in the standard, if difference between requested quantity and confirmed quantity lies among over and underdelivery, you´ll be able to create the delivery and the sales order line ítem will be set as completed.
    It will be completed once you´ve created your delivery.
    Check in shipping tab in sales order that for your line ítem over or underdelivery have been copied from info record as already suggested.

  • How to increase Heap size at runtime

    Hi,
    In my application i sometime require to parse large XML files,so for doing that i require to increase the heap size dynamically.Is there any way to do that ?
    Thanks in advance
    Gurpreet Singh

    And unless there is no reason to be swapped out
    (plenty of physical memory) then it will be swapped
    out.I don't understand this. If there is no reason to
    swap a page back to the disk - e.g., there is plenty
    of available phyiscal memory for some other process -
    then why would the OS bother to swap that page back
    out to the disk?Ok I don't understand the statement either :)
    So obviously I need to rephrase it.
    Page swapping only occurs when needed. If there is plenty of physical memory to hold everything, then swapping does not occur.
    On the other hand if there is not enough physical memory then pages will be swapped out.
    >
    And application can also tell the OS that it nolonger
    wants to use some memory (pages.) But what doesthis
    gain the application? After all if it kept thememory
    and simply did not use it, it would not affectother
    applications. That is because the memory isswapped
    out to the harddrive until needed. So there is no
    need for an application to return memory to the OS.But since virtual memory is finite and there is a
    performance overhead if there is frequent swapping of
    pages into physical memory and out from the disk
    (thrashing), overall performance/throughput degrades.Some what correct. First virtual memory has a finite limit. But that limit itself does not affect other applications.
    Virtual memory in of it self does not cause swapping. If I allocate 1 gig for my application, when my application runs it will not have 1 gig of physical space. Only the memory that is 'touched' is relevant to the OS. So during a time slice it might be the case that only 16k of actual physical memory is used - say 8k for the small piece of code running and 8k for data (an over simplification but appropriate for this discussion.)
    It is rather unlikely, perhaps even impossible, that the entire 1 gig of memory would be swapped into memory during a single time slice.
    If the process' consumption of memory can not be
    streamlined, then that's typically when people go and
    buy more physical memory, no? Or in some cases,
    increasing the amount of virtual memory available to
    the OS can alleviate the problem.There is a difference between requesting memory and using memory. Memory that is used ('touched') is the only thing that has to be in physical memory. If you do indeed use a lot of memory in your application then more physical memory will help. But simply requesting more memory doesn't impact physical memory.
