Difference in value of PO, SES-GR,MIRO

Hi,
I have created a Po for service entry sheet. The value for this is Rs. 300,000. When I posted the GR by releasing the service entry sheet for the same, the accounting document shows value of Rs. 792000. When I am simulating the MIRO it is now showing the value of Rs. 2,500,000.
There is no change in the value of PO. What may the reasons for the same?.

    HI,
What is the difference between Posting Date & Baseline date in MIRO?
    Regards
    Chandan
    Edited by: Chandan H N on Dec 14, 2009 11:11 AM

    Dear,
    Posting Date:
    Posting Date in the Document
Date which is used when entering the document in Financial Accounting or Controlling.
    Use
The fiscal year and the period for which an update of the accounts specified in the document or cost elements is made, are derived from the posting date.
When entering documents, the system checks whether the posting date entered is allowed by means of the posting period permitted.
    Note
The posting date can differ from both the entry date (day of entry into the system) and the document date (day of creation of the original document).
    Baseline Date
Baseline Date for Due Date Calculation
Date to which the periods for the cash discount deadline and the due date for net payment refer. This is the case for line items in open item accounts.
For line items in G/L accounts, the item is due immediately on this date because there are no cash discount specifications.
    Procedure
During document entry for open item accounts, the date may be defaulted. For this, a terms of payment key must have been specified in the customer's/vendor's master record for which a default value is requested in the document.
The proposed date can be overwritten.
If the cash discount rates (and days) have not been entered, the baseline date for payment is the same as the due date.

  • Difference in value Between BW and R/3

    Hi,
We are in the process of validating reports .We have observed difference in value for  credit and debit amount fields in BW and for the same data is coming from standard data source 0EN_JVA_2 (Joint venture: Actual line item using delta extraction) we have done full data load. In the data source the data coming from a single field and that is spited based on debit/credit indicator in R/3.
I need your valuable input on where the problem is for the difference of value between BW and R/3.

Any data packet deletion activity in the start rountine?
Any update rule for the key figure is having routine with modifiying the value?
    Kindly check.

  • Difference in values in local currency - MB51

    Hello all,
In our scenario we moved all the inventory out of system using 562 and moved all the same amount stock back using 561.
the movement of stock generated material documents that were displayed using MB51. MB51 also has a layout option to display the value of the stock in local currency.
the issue is - when the same amount of stock of the particular material was moved back into the system using 561, there was a change in the value (local currency Value) of the stock, eventhough the same amount of inventory of the particular material was posted back. the difference in the value was very small (only few decimal values less than the original amount)
could you pl. let me know what causes this difference in value before and after moving the stock.(using movement types 561 and 562)
Pl. let me know the reason and possible ways of having the same value before and after moving the stock into the system
    Thanks

  • Difference between value node, model node and recursion node?.

    Hi all,
this is to ask you the difference between modal node, value node and recurrsion node?
    please explain
    Anhitya Kashyap

    hi Anhit,
node can be classified as a value node or model node. The difference between value nodes and model nodes is that a value node can store the data itself, whereas the model node only references an external model object that stores the data.
    more on nodes check this

  • Difference between value attribute and value attribute under Node in contex

I have very basic question..it might be very simple but it is giving me a problem.
I have created one Node name "Input" and value attribute "Input1" under it.
I have just created one more value attribute named "in1" not under any Node.
I have created two input filed in the my view. One first I have mapped the value in properties
to variables "Input.Input1" and on another "in1".
When I deploy and run the application one Input box is coming as readonly and other is working fine .Will anybody tell me why it is so?

There is no major difference between value attribute and inside a node.
It is a separation of attributes. Usually all the attributes belongs to same purpose will create in one value node. Like, calling one BAPI - requestListBAPI - it contains all the bapi related value attributes.
For your question, one field is read only(Input.Input1), bcz that context is not created. see the context properties.....cardinality will be 0..n. Change the cardinality to 1...n (<b>or</b>) create that context element .
In your implementation create that value node like this in your init method.
    wdContext.createInputElement();
    It will solve your problem.
in1 - is a value attribute, which is mapped to your input element. It wont have any problem.

  • Difference between value category and cost element

Hi I am new to SAP Pm.can anyone explain me the difference between value category and cost element and how are they linked with examples

    HI Pallavi,
Value Category are use to devide your total cost in to diffrent elements for example Material, External Services, Internal Services etc. If you dont have any value category configured then all cost will show together.
Cost Element are the cost collector where your cost will be booked means different cost under different Elements.
So What you need to do You need to create one Value category Like material or any thing then you need to assign all Cost Elements which will be used to book cost related to Material or that perticular category. You can assign Cost Element directly, range or as a group to these category under SPRO.

  • Value mismatch in ME23N and MIRO for PO with multiple account assignments

    Hello All,
I've a PO for indriect material procurement with no material master and I've a single PO item with Account Assignment Category as "K" (Cost Center) and Net Price as "1,357.91". Account Assignment has been distributed by percentage such that 50% goes to a cost center and the remaining 50% goes to another cost center.
When I do MIRO, the amount comes as "1.357,92". This is because, the actual PO price "1,357.91" is divided by 2 equal half due to multiple account assignment and the individual amount comes to 678.955. And this is rounded off to 678.96 and multiplied by 2 in MIRO and the final amount comes to "1357.92". So as you see, the variance between PO price and MIRO price is 0.01.
How to get rid of this variance? Can something be done to match the PO value and MIRO value the same?
    Thanks for your inputs.
    Sankar

    HI Sankar,
This is a standard behaviour as Currencies with 2 decimals will be getting rounded off. One work around to avoid posting of Small differences in Invoices (DIF accounts) is to maually change the amount in the Account assignment in the Invoice line to match to PO line total.

  • Incorrect Goods value when crediting an incorrect MIRO invoice

    Dear all,
There is one thing I do not understand.
My customer is on the coffee business, both selling and producing coffee.
Normally they get two inovices for every purchase order, since the price of coffee is changing a lot. Normally the original invoice is coming first (before the goods is received), then an invoice of the price adjustment and then the goods is received.
The price adjustment (invoice number 2) should not affect the stock value and therefore it is registered in transaction MIRO with antoher document type than original invoices. Now the price adjustment inovvoice was registered before the original invoice and with the same document type as normal invoices. Then the original invoice was also registered. The customer wanted to credit the first invoice but what happened? Since the value of the goods have been affected a much higher price is credited and the difference is posted to the "loss under covera ccount (P/L account). But I do not want that posting!
    This is what happaned:
    1) Price adjustment invoice, debit goods recievied/invoice recieved account 10 000 EUR,  20 000 PIECES
    2) Original Invoice, debit goods recievied/nvoice recieved account 100 000 EUR, 20 000 PIECES
    3) Credit of price adjustment, Credit goods recievied/invoice recieved account  50 000 EUR, 20 000 PICES AND debit 40 000 EUR on account "loss stock under cover"
But I do not want to have any posting on the P/L account "loss stock under cover" and I would also like to have a credit of 10 000 EUR on goods recievied/invoice recieved account , not another amount. I know this is due to material valuation but is there a way to solve this?
    Best Regards,

    Solved!

  • Need advise to calculate stock difference (Theoric values vs real values)

I know there is a transaction named MI20
This transaction is able to give me the needed info... except it gives me the info un units. Meaning, if a box of certain product has 12 SKU and we have 12 boxes, the result window shows 144 SKU.
This is not a bad thing... except for the fact that the company does not only want to see the SKU but they want to see the boxes. If there are 145 SKU of the same product in stock, they want the result window to show it like this:
Item: <ItemName>, Boxes: 12, Units: 1 (This is a rough example)
Now... I don't think it is a good idea to touch the standard code, so I decided to create a new (and simplified) transaction that asks only the parameters they want, they agreed to this and so I started... but stopped almost right away.
"Why?" you might ask. Well, I don't know the tables I sould read to determine a difference in stock between what's supposed to be and what really is.
My common sense tells me the actual stock is somehow introduced to the system with some document. But where? Which table(s)?
Also, how can I calculate the theoric values ? Initial stock (date of implementation) minus sales, plus purchases? That's what common sense tells me but... also tells me that is only going to be slower as time passes by, not to mention I don't know where to look into (again).
After the people who implemented SAP left, we were left adrift. No data dictionary, no ABAP training, no language refference manual, no nothing :s
I don't want source code to be written here... but I'm kinda desperate, I tried to understand the standard code of the MI20 but I get lost. I'm reading the RM07IDIF report and while I can see some tables there, I can't ger a grip on what's happening >___<
What would you say is a good starting point or course of action? (Don't say "Get formal ABAP trainning"... that's not going to happen, my boss haven't even pressed the buttons to get a book from the SAP store ;_;)
I know the ISEG, MARA, T!58 tables play a role in the whole movie (How, that's still a mistery I have to unveil).I  I've also noticed some structures that (to my understanding) are used mostly to store partial results.
I know this question is very vague and even might look like "Do the work for me", but believe me, I'm not looking for source code to copy paste. I'm trying to understand the system and the relation between the tables in order to start coding.
Thanx in advance for your help and understanding : /

  • Difference between Parking (in FB60) and holding (MIRO) Vednor invoices

    Hello FICO Gurus,
What is the difference between Parking a vendor invoice document in FB60 and Holding a invoice document in MIRO ? Is holding and parking is same ?
    Regards,
    Rajesh.

    Hi,
    Hold
The current status of the document was saved. Only minimal checks were performed, here the balance might not be zero. But no updates were made to Financial Accounting. The data are only saved in a buffer and not in any database. When a document is held, only a preliminary document number is assigned.
if you have  Created a ex:201 as hold document.
    Field  UF05A-TEMPD
    Park
The Invoice document is missing some information that is required for posting. In this case we will park the document. Here also some preliminary checks will be performed.  Balance might not be zero. But in this case updates were performed.
Ex: Created one document which has status Park

It will be stored in tables

VBSEGA Document Segment for Document Parking - Asset Da

  • Difference of value of a dimension based on min and max

    Database: Oracle 10g
    BO-BOXIr3
Let me explain the exact problem again.
As per the below code, I have the data in this format in my table:
    Code:
    Date              Site ID     KWH
    1/2/2009 00:00     IN-1     22
    1/2/2009 01:00     IN-1     28
    1/3/2009 03:00     IN-2     25
    1/3/2009 04:00     IN-2     46
    1/4/2009 00:00     IN-3     28
    1/4/2009 10:00     IN-3     34
    1/5/2009 08:00     IN-4     31
    1/5/2009 09:00     IN-4     55
    1/5/2009 11:00     IN-4     77
    1/6/2009 00:00     IN-5     34
Now want to build a report with following columns:
    Site     Count     KWH
    IN-1     2     6 (ex.-28-22)
    IN-2     2     21
    IN-3     2     6
    IN-4     3     46 (ex.-77-31)
    IN-5     2     34
    SITE- distinct site name.
COUNT-count is number of repetitions of site id between min and max date.
KWH -(Delta between the min and max date)
To get the above result I have created 3 report from different queries since not able to get these al in a single report viz Count, Max Value and Min value. Well I have all these 3 reports or table on a single page.
Count-this report will give the count between the dates
Max Value-this report will give me the values of kwh for max dates for each site id
Min Value-this report will give me the values of kwh for min dates for each site id
Now want to create a single report based on these 3 reports which contains the column
    Site|Count|KWH
    IS IT POSSIBLE?
    Or
Is it possible to build such report in a single one with all the required column which I mentioned?
The variables which I created to get the max & min dates,
    Mx_dt= =Max([Query 2].[Hourly]) In ([Query 2].[SITE_ID])
    Mn_dt= =Min([Query 3 (12)].[Hourly]) In ([Query 3 (12)].[SITE_ID])
For filtering on report used following variables:
    if_st_mn=If([mn_dt])=[Hourly] Then "ok" Else "no"
if_st_mx =If([mx_dt])=[Hourly] Then "ok" Else "no"
will filter on "ok" to get the max and min date values.
rest of the variable in the snap are not usable.

Yes, you can do it in one report.
I created a sample report from efashion:
Year | Lines | Sales Revenue
    2001 | Accessories | $250
    2003 | Accessories | $550
    2001 | City Skirts | $1050
    2003 | City Skirts | $1150...........
Create 2 variables 1) Count and 2) Difference:
    1) Count  as formula - =Count([Lines]) In Report
    2) Difference as formula - =Sum([Sales revenue]) Where (Max([Year]) In Report = [Year]) - Sum([Sales revenue]) Where (Min([Year]) In Report = [Year])
You can replace the formula with your report variables. Then just drag Site ID, Count and Difference variables to your report.
    Thanks
    Jai

  • PO,MIGO zero value item, not picking in MIRO

    HI All,
In my Vendor Return Po one line item(Sample good) is created with Zero value.
GR and the entry is zero value. There is no issue at all.
But upon MIRO, it is automatically not seen in the line item
Can any one tell is it standard....or we cab bring the zero value line item in MIRO also.

Why are you mixing return and free item ?
Return is used to return material from your godown to vendor..
Free item is used to purchase material from vendor for free of cost...
If you maintain the free indicator in PO, then you are saying to system, that you purchase the item for free of cost..
You can see the Invoice Tab - Invoice Receipt option get unticked when you tick the free item in PO line item..
It will never appear in MIRO...
