Different output format of vibration analyzers

Hi all,
I was using the vibration analyzer manufactured by Entek IRD having model no. Datapac-1500. This vibration analyzer measured the vibration in form of acceleration signal and then integrates it to give velocity signal. This value of velocity was always in TRUE PEAK .
Now when i am using Rockwell's Dynamix-2500 (vibration analyzer). It integrates the acceleration signal to give velocity signal but this signal value is always in PEAK NOT TRUE PEAK.
Can anyone tell me WHY is there difference in OUPUT FORMAT of these two analyzers?
Is there any difference between the INTEGRATION ALGORITHM of these two analyzers?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This specific board is for an obsolete National Instruments add-in product for Excel called Measure. Your question has nothing to do with that and has nothing at all to do with any National Instruments product at all. How did you even find this board?

  • Smartform Different output formats in same language

    Hello
I have a Bulgarian smartform which is translated via SE63 into English. We have a customizing table and according to some fields from there, the customer wants to have the english smartform to have slightly different outputs, no big differences, but for ex some bigger/smaller characters or some fields that should not be displayed.
How can i do this, because the only way to control this is via se63 that has no such option?
    Thank you

Look at SE63 translation screen, some constants texts are represented like <F1>пример</ > where <F1> is the character format, so translate it to <F2>example</ > and the text will be printed with another character format.
But it may be easier to check the language code in the Smartforms itself, especially for text that are not to be printed, (if you don't wont to translate text to initial value) or for full variable text (text item without any constant) that don't appear in the translation screen.

  • Different output format on pdf,  same report same data same user Report 10g

    Hi
I’ve recently came up with a very strange problem
I have the same report ( DevSuite 10g ) running on a win2003 server and without any obvious reason the output format changes from the original –correct one - ( the underlined text is not correct , font size is decreased , line spacing differs)
The report is executed with the same user, the same parameters and the same data...
Problem is solved only after a full server restart ( restarting only the report server, web cacle will not make any difference )
Once the report is formatted strangely we cannot run it correctly (reboot is needed)
Trace and log files shows nothing strange about the execution.
Can you please tell me how to start investigate or suggest a solution?
    Thank you,
    M

This is a wild guess, but it could be the result of there being no default printer. If you're using an in-process Reports Server, this runs by default under the LocalSystem operating system account. By default, this account does not have a default printer. Without a default printer, Reports may not format fonts correctly when producing PDF output.
For more information, see "Printing and Font Errors When Using In-process Server" in Appendix D (Troubleshooting OracleAS Reports Services) of Oracle Application Server Reports Services Publishing Reports to the Web 10g Release 2 (10.1.2). It (like Metalink note 272017.1) suggests changing the registry to set a default printer that the LocalSystem account can "see"). Metalink note 370150.1 offers a more drastic solution -- configuring the Reports Server to run under a different operating system account that does have a default printer.
Still, the theory that this "default printer" issue is the problem is not exactly consistent with the fact that your reports do work as expected at first, although there could be explanations for why the default printer is periodically changing (startup scripts, user intervention, etc.).
    Hope this helps.

  • How to set a different output format as part of the Concurrent request

We are on EBS 11.5.10.2 and we are also using XML Publisher 5.6.2. We have few Excel output reports. The issue we are having is that when we defien these reports as a concurrent program, the options for output always defaults to PDF. The end user has to alter this every time to Excel as part of the options, even though we know, the output is always going to be an excel output.
Is there a way to default other than PDF. If not, is there any enhnacement request to default it from the template.
    Thanks,
    - Vasu -

    HI,
thats right that default format is pdf but u can change this ... if u want the out put format as excel go to Oracle xml administrator responsibility -->administrator tab
and change the default format as you required.
otherwise .... if u want to change it while submiting the request .... go to submit request ... u find one options tab there click on it and change the format as well as template ..... or language if u want to change.
also once u submit the request ... u can go to window menu and go for reprint and republish .... there also u can change the format and all.

  • Adding different output formats to VF31

    Hi
I am trying to add multiple output options to the VF31, reprint billing
Currently VF31 does ahtwver the previous format was
Such as if the doc is sent to printer, it will only send to printer but not to anything else
So users should be able to send docs to email, fax or printer  no matter the previous operation
    Any help is appreciated

    Hi,
In the driver program..Check if the tcode is VF31 then you can forciably send the document to all the outputs..
FYI.. the same driver program will be calledin the back grd that is used for the VF01/ VF02
    IF sy-tcode = VF31.
Call the FM fnam for all output types

  • Where are some samples showing the various output formats?

Are example PDFs with various output conversions from ExportPDF available on this site?
I have looked around for a while on this site and did not find any.  It would be helpful to see several PDF files and their conversions to the different output formats.  In particular it would be nice to see how converting to Excel and MSWord are handled for a few different PDF documents.

sorry. i should clarify this. I know where they are. I would like to know, how can i force them to be saved to, and always be read from, another place, like an external disk?
    Thanks for any pointers.

  • How to change the output format (procedure) in the "norma 19" (CSB19)

A bank asks us that the file that currently we send to them with the data of the domicile of our busines partners (customers ISU) must have a different output format from that is currently sending, specifically ask us to change the procedure 1 to the 2 of the "norma 19" (CSB 19) --> (Data Medium Exchange)
I appreciate if someone can shed me some light on the subject ...
Where can I customize the "norma 19"?
How to change to the procedure 2?
thank you very much in advance.

Can someone help please. 1. Write a class that connects to the database, runs the proc, extracts the data and puts it in an ArrayList. This class does NOT have any gui code (none, zero.)
    2. Test that class
    3. Write GUI code that uses that class.

  • Different resolution in preview and output format

    Hi Folks
I need your help. We already captured a lot of e-learning material but come to a problem.
The output format quality is less good than the preview quality.
    Win7 /Captivate 6
Capture resolution for software simulation is 1024x768.
Producing the material in swf and html. No compressing, set to best quality.
Open the preview: quality is nearly the same as the original source.
Open the swf directly or the html --> output looks cloudy, diffuse.
Test with an without scalable html. In case of scalable html it is hard to find the right resolution (1024x768) on a 1280x1024 resolution monitor, but you can find it and the the output is clear as the preview.
The output format resolution within the project is set to 1024x768. We measured the "true" output resolution on different produced output formats, and they are all a little bit higher than 1024x768, about 4% more heigh and width.
Of course, I was able to change the html-script which sets the start-format for an swf to open, if I change it to 1024x768 and save it, the quality of the swf is like the preview and sharp and ok. But in case of scalable html I cannot set the format. However, why the swf -even when i start/opeen it directly- didn't start with the right resolution set in the settings within the project?
Also our target group should not "search" for the sharp resolution by scaling the output window.
Why does captivate change the resolution? why is the preview ok and the produced swf not? I didn't understand that fact.
Also we like to produce with TOC, so the widht for TOC is 250. If I change the html script in that case to 1024+250=1274x768 the swf is also unshapr/cloudy and I havee no change to fit it to the right resolution (1024+TOC).

    Hi,
    Output format In Excel:
In the initial broadcaster screen->choose from the following: query, web template, query view, report, and workbook.-> The only output option you get after selecting that is MS Excel Workbook(Once check the settings in broadcasting window. select the output format as excel and select the check box as zip file. )--->need to create a workbook first and install precalculation server.

  • Same report, 2 identical servers, 2 different outputs???

We have a report that is produced correctly on our Staging server, but when we promote the same report to our Production server (which is a mirror of our Staging server), we get different output. The machines are identical in every respect except for the name. The same queues, fonts, and version of Crystal Report (10.2.3600.0) is installed on both. I wish I could upload the 2 versions of the pdfs that are outputted for you to see the differences, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that here. Any ideas of what could be causing the discrepancies?

    Hi Amanda,
Can I back track a bit here?  I would like a bit more clarification on how this is being tested.  From what I understand:
    1)  You have the same application running on 2 different servers which are mirrors of each other.
    2)  The report is exported to PDF directly, not previewed or printed first.
    3)  The PDF is opened locally on the client machine.
A couple of questions I have:
    1)  Is the client machine viewing the PDFs from both servers or are these 2 different clients as well?  If the clients are different, then can you try opening the PDF from the second server onto your original client and see if they formatting is the same?  I say this because I want to make sure the Acrobat reader is the same version on both machines and to eliminate the possibility that the PDF is fine but the reader may be the culprit.
    2)  You've removed the printer in the report I see.  On the client machine, is there default printer installed and is it something other than the Generic Text Driver?
    3)  Same question as above but on the second server?  A printer is important to Crystal even if you are not printing.  Many years ago if a printer was not installed, the print engine would crash the report when you tried to run it.  That's when the No Printer option was added but that's a different story.  I just needed to stress the importance of having a printer installed.
    Thanks,
    Brian

  • Different output in different systems

I have a question that when I write the following LOC in my smart form the output is correctly visible in the development system (my system) but not in the user system (a different server):
    "here>> g_po and w_curr_desc is
      "of type vbak-vbeln and vbak-waerk
    "respectively.
    set country space.
    g_po = wa_vbak-vbeln.
    w_curr_desc  = wa_vbak-waerk.
select single dcpfm from usr01 into (w_dec_note)
      where bname = sy-uname.
    " here>>W_DEC_NOTE TYPE XUDCPFM
    " here>> l_char type char20
    <i>MOVE w_total_vat to l_char.</i>
    condense l_char no-gaps.
    if w_dec_note = 'X'.
replace all occurences of ',' in l_char with ''.
    elseif w_dec_note = 'Y'.
replace all occurences of ',' in l_char with '.'.
      condense l_char no-gaps.
    elseif w_dec_note = space.
replace all occurences of '.' in l_char with ''.
replace all occurences of ',' in l_char with '.'.
    endif.
    condense l_char no-gaps.
Now instead of the code line mentioned above in italics I write the following code-linethe problem goes away,I did that to recrify the problem but dont know the reason for it:
    <i>write w_total_vat to l_char currency wa_vbak-waerk.</i>
1.Can anybody please explain me the reason for exactly what  happened before and after theis change is made?
If the output is  say as '180' 'currency'  which we see on our systems. The user sees it as '18000' 'currency'.

Whenever currency is involved, the system determines the number of decimal places in the output according to the currency , say C, If the contents of C exist in table TCURX as currency key CURRKEY, the system sets the number of decimal places according to the entry CURRDEC in TCURX. Otherwise, it uses the default setting of two decimal places. This means that table TCURX must contain only exceptions where the number of decimal places is unequal to 2.
The output format for currencies does not depend on the decimal places of a number that may exist in the program. The system uses only the sequence of digits. This sequence of digits thus represents an amount specified in the smallest unit of the currency in use, for example Cents for US Dollar (USD) or Francs for Belgian Francs (BEF). For processing currency amounts in ABAP programs, SAP therefore recommends that you use data type P without decimal places.
I think that for the currencies you use, there is an entry in your TCURX table and none in your client end, may be thats why this addition of two zeros occur.

  • Is any difference in the CDR output format of CUCM version 6.1.5 and 7.1.5?

    Hello,
Customer has a CUCM 6.1.5 cluster which is getting upgraded to 7.1.5. currently the CUCM CDR is sent to a external system (performix) which generates required reports. I would like to know if there is any difference in the CDR output format of CUCM version 6.1.5 and 7.1.5/ its vital to confirm this prior to upgrade as the performix is managed by a different vendor.
    Please advise !

Re: Elements Premier 10 in UK (PAL)
I have just 'imported' a video clip from my Sony DV camcorder via the firewire port.
It uses tape but is digital (I think) it save the file to disc in AVI format. This is good I know AVI.
    After I have edited the clip and save (share) it to computer I have various options to save it as. See below;
I have saved the same clip in a variety of formats to compare them.
The 'm2t' and 'Pal DVD' formats also create an additional file .xmpses
However the m2t file plays after I have moved this 'extra' file to a different directory
    hdtv 720p 25 high quality.mpg
    hd720p 25.mpg
    hdtv 1080i 25 high quality.mpg
    hdtv 1080p 25 high quality.mpg
    mpeg2 1440x1080i 25.m2t
    mpeg2 1920x1080i 25.m2t
    pal dvd standard.mpg
    pal dvd widwscreen.mpg
The physical image sizes as displayed on the laptop screen are different. some take up 1/4 of the screen and some 1/2 of the screen.
They all expand to full screen. I am not sure if I can any difference in quality thought.
Obviously the file sizes varies a lot.
I don't seam to be able to output in avi format!!!!!!
I intend to leave the files on my NAS drive to stream to my tv via a streaming box I will purchase soon, I am currently using a ps3, but may at some point in the future burn some clips to disc for friends and family
I may also watch them on the computer screen.
I appreciate the quality can never get better than the original but what output format should I use and is this extra file needed?

  • Query Output Formatting Help

    Hello All,
I'm having problems trying to format the output of one of my queries. I'm new to SQL and I consider my writing the query a HUGE win.... but I can't seem to get the correct output format.
Per the code below, it is outputting the Last Name (lname) of the employee, a count of what I want, and the overall rank.  I would like to concatenate the employee number (emp#) the first (fname) and last name (lname) together into the same column in the output.
The concatenation code would be something like the below.
    Desired concatenation:
    emp# || ' - ' || lname || ', ' || fname AS EMPLOYEE
I'm using Oracle 11g Express. Please let me know if you need any supporting information to assist you.
I appreciate all your help!!! Thank you.
    Query
    SELECT EMPLOYEE, PREPARED,
RANK() OVER (ORDER BY Prepared DESC) AS rank
FROM (SELECT lname EMPLOYEE , COUNT(DISTINCT reportnum) PREPARED
          FROM employee

Whenever you have a problem, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all the tables involved, and the results you want from that data.
Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
Always say what version of Oracle you're using (e.g. 11.2.0.2.0).
    See the forum FAQ: https://forums.oracle.com/message/9362002
I appreciate all your help!!! Thank you.

          GROUP BY lname
          ORDER BY Prepared DESC)
    WHERE rownum < 15;
It looks like you've found the right way to concatenate the columns.  How to use that in your query depends on your data, and what you want the query to do with that data.
If you GROUP BY lname, what do you want the concatenated value to be when different rows having the same lname have different fnames and/or emp#s?
Do you want to GROUP BY the new concatenated employee instead of lname?
