DIO Clear and Initializing a 653x board

Hello-
I have been submitting a lot of questions to the forum about the PCI-6534 board, and if anyone knows of a better medium to get all of my questions answered at once, that would be appreciated, but until then...
My question is that if you run a program that starts a DIO operation and for some reason stop the program in LV before the DIO Clear VI is executed, then you can no longer use the board until you turn off LV because you get an error everytime that says that the current group is in use. Now, I would like my program to be as robust as possible so that the user does not need to know what the previous state of the board was when he starts my program, but none of the example VI's demonstrate a way to initialize t
he board so that it clears out any previous configurations or group designations. Is there a simple way to do this? Something that I could stick at the beginning of my code that clears out any previous state the board was in and then start configuring the board for the operation I need it to perform? Thank you.

The easiest way to reset the device in LV, before you start your application is to use the Device Reset.vi. It is located under the DAQ->Calibration and Configuration pallet.

Well, you can't do buffered pattern input with the 6527. You can only sample the digital lines one scan at a time through software. The speed of this is limited by the speed of the software.
Now, the MIO board already has a built in hardware trigger you can use to initiate an analog acquisition. You can also use your MIO card to "gate" the scan clock using one of the counters. (Only acquire scans while the gate signal is high, for example)
From what I gather, it seems you want to sample the AI and the DI with the same clock and be able to associate each analog sample with a corresponding digital sample. If you do need to do a buffered acquisition of digital patterns in addition to triggering an analog acquisition, then yes, you'll probabl
y want to switch to a 653x. Then you would be able to share the same clock between the two.
If I have misunderstood your application, then could you give me some more detail about what you would like to happen?

Hi, i have a macbookpro 13, late 2012. I bought it last year october and its an year old and now out of warranty. This morning the computer did not boot, so i went down to apple store and they looked at it and said its a logic board failure and needs replacement worth £350. The tech at apple store gave no explanation, why suddenly, my computer decided not to start at all and said to me it was a logic board failure for no apparent reason and requires replacement. I have maintained the laptop in a pristine condition. Now I feel I have been cheated. This clearly means the product is substandard as a £1100 laptop is not expected to fail in just over a year. My last laptop PC which was worth £450 served me for 4 years before it crashed and lived for another 2 years until I decided to get a mac. This is ridiculous. I don't have apple care at the moment which translates as pay to get it fixed. Anybody in my situation ? I want to sue apple for selling me a substandard good . Any thoughts? Should I go for another pc for £500 because there is no guarantee even after the laptop were fixed by apple for £350 it would last for another year. I need a reliable machine.

DIO-96 and MIO-16-XE-50

I just posted a question and received an answer but I don't think I phrased my question correctly.
I am connecting a DIO-96 and an MIO-16-XE-50 to the same BNC-2090. The BNC-2090 has two 68-pin connectors, so I thought that if I connect the DIO-96 and the MIO-16-XE-50 to the same BNC-2090 that I could send a digital trigger from the DIO-96 to the MIO-16-XE-50 without using the PFI0/Trig 1 channel on the BNC-2090. Is there some way using the software in NIDAQ Tools (for Igor Pro) to NOT use the PFI0/Trig 1 channel and still make the PCI-MIO-16-XE-50 record after a trigger pulse transmitted straight from the DIO-96 to the BNC-2090 using a SH1006868 cable that connects the 100-pin DIO-96 card to the 68 pin connector on the BNC-2090.
I hope this makes more sense, since I don't know how to use the DIO-96 card and input it to the PFI0/Trig 1 input on the BNC-2090.

Hello;
Unfortunately, you can't do that. You will need to have two terminal blocks, one for the DIO board and the other for the MIO board, and then run a wire from one terminal block to the other in order to connect the DIO line of interest to the MIO PFI0 line.

Use the Data source 0FI_AR_4 to Know the status (0FI_DOCSTAT) of payment to be done by customer.
OR
Enhance the 2LIS_13_VDITM with VBUP fields which will give the status of Billing.

When I put in my earphones to listen to music the sound isn't clear and I have to push and hold them in it in order for it to be. It's not the earphones because I use them in my laptop and they work fine. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Whenever I put my earphones into my iPod Touch 2g the music isn't clear and I have to push and hold them in order to hear the song normally. It isn't the earphones because I tried another pair, that worked fine, and there was still no difference. I also use the same pair of earphones in my laptop and it sounds great. Is there a way to fix this problem without having to buy a brand new iPod touch? Do I need to clean it or something? And if so, how would I go about doing that? Thanks!

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
If still problem that indicates you have a bad headphone jack.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours. Likely not worth it for your old 2G iPod

Before consider developing any program development, I would request you look into the options available with various reports in Standard SAP for vendors.
FBL3N would essentially satisfy all the user needs across various industries.

I HAD MY MACBOOK MEMORY CLEARED AND CANNOT UPLOAD MY IPHOTO ANYMORE

I recently had my macbook memory cleared and reset to all default settings. I was advised to back up all my personal documents and data as everything will be cleared. However, due to some technical issue (and one of the reason for memory wipe) i had to manually backup important documents, which were my itune, iphoto, and uni assignments.
After i my macbook had been wiped and returned to default settigns i began to reinstalled the documents i had backed up on my external hard drive. However, when i came to open iphoto it was saying i had to download it from the app store?? when i looked on the app store it was asking for me to buy iphotos for over £10 !! i was not aware i would have to buy this feature as i never originally bought the feature when i first got my macbook. without downloading iphoto i cannot access my photos which was the main thing i wanted to save as these are personal memories of me and my children.
Can anyone help me with this issue as i do not feel i should buy iphoto just so i can recover my own photographs, i have already paid for the memory wipe as it was strongly advised by the technician, who also helped me back up my documents in the store (which took 4 hours). I am correct in thinking that iphoto originally came as standard on my macbook when i bought it in 2009 or will i be required to purchase this and download it again??

Your post says you have a late 2009 MacBook with OS X 10.6.8. With the MacBook, you received 2 gray-faced OS X disks, one with the system programs and one with application programs. The application program disk will have iPhoto on it, so you would re-install it from there. See this Apple note on how to reinstall iPhoto.

Cleared and uncleared items

I need to print both the cleared and uncleared items at the footer of the smartform.
For this I need to pick dmbtr and zterm fields from BSID and BSAD tables.How can I print the cleared and uncleared items by picking the data from both these tables.

What is the purpose of Clearing and Revenue account in Asset Disposal : F-92?

Please clarify my doubt ;
In Asset Disposal - Sale to Customer : F-92 with customer
Suppose an asset with historical cost $1000 and accumulated depreciation of $100 is being sold to a customer at $1100, the posting entries will be as follows :
Dr     Customer Account (A/R)                    1,100
Dr     Accumulated Depreciation                    100
Cr     Fixed Asset - Acquisition Cost           1,000-
Cr     Gain/Loss of Fixed Asset Disposal       200-
Dr     Clearing Account for Asset Disposal   1,100
Cr     Revenue for Asset Disposal                1,100-
I completely understand the first four line items, but don't know the purpose or the 5th and 6th line items.
Please explain why we need a clearing and revenue account for asset disposal and what would be the impact of these accounts in asset accounting?

This is just a technical account, which gets Dr and Cr in the same document
The purpose is just to tell you how much asset sale has happened during the year.. You can get this info by looking at the GL Account
Since Asset Module is a sub ledger, the asset needs to be retired. At the same time, the FI-GL also should show the needed info from accounting perspective
While the required GL entry is completed with the 1st 4 line items, the 5th and 6th are just the statistical ones

PE dism error - failed to get and initialize the PE provider

This all started with: Win 8.1 could not be installed. error code 0X8007003. I ran DISM successfully with the /RestoreHealth flag, but it made no difference to installing Win 8.1. I ran DISM again (successfully) and looked at the log for "fails".
The repeated fail was:

WIM format changed in Win 8.1. You need to use the DISM from the ADK from Windows 8.1. Older versions of DISM cannot service drivers or packages for example.

Prepare Your Mac for Sale
Boot from the OS X Installer Disc One that came with the computer. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select the startup volume from the left side list then click on the Erase tab. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) then click on the Options button. Select the one pass Zero Data option and click on the OK button. Then click on the Erase button.
Note: You can skip the Zero Data option if you are not concerned about removing sensitive personal data from the hard drive. If you choose to skip this part of the process then it is possible for others to recover data from the hard drive. The Zero Data procedure will prevent others from getting access to your personal information.
This process will take 30 minutes to several hours depending upon the size of the hard drive. After formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Now complete the OS X installation. At the completion of the installation do not restart the computer. Instead just shut it off. The next user will be presented with the Setup Assistant when they turn on the computer just as it would if new out of the box.

Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.
