Direct Reports not showing in Lync Clients for certain users in a pool

Hello guys, I am having issue with some users not being able to see direct reports of their managers in lync clients. Direct reports correctly shown in AD and outlook, but not in Lync. I have two paired lync pools. This issue is happening to users situated
within a pool. If I moved the manager to second pool, then users will see his direct reports. Does anyone knows how to fix this issue?  Attached is sample.

This information is from AD, you can try synchronizing the information manually.
Delete the .slabs file from the file share sitting on 000000000\000000000 folder and then run Update-CSUserDatabase and after 5 minutes, run Update-CsAddressBook.
The folder path:
X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000\

  • Notes not showing up in appraisals for some users

    We are using the Flexible Performance Appraisal process in EHP5.  I have two users that I know of out of 13,000 that are unable to view any notes fields.  They are missing from the view in the ABAP Web Dynpro, but if you go back through the old BSP the notes columns show up.  The notes fields fail to show in both the FAPP and OBJ0 columns in the web dynpro.  Anyone seen something like this before?  I thought it would be a saved configuration or something, but cannot find one.

    Hi,
    I have the same problem.  The 'note' field in appraisals is missing for a user on the portal.  The user had entered information in the text box but suddendly dissapear. That field is also missing in appraisal of previous years.

  • New outlook install not showing all email histories for some users

    Hello,
    I recently installed outlook 2013 on a windows 8 machine connected to exchange. I noticed it is not showing all the email histories for a particular user.  Is there an index that needs to be rebuilt or something?  Some users it shows a
    bunch emails for others it only shows one or two.  Thanks in advance.

    Do you mean only one particular user couldn't view all messages from Outlook?
    From this sentence "Some users it shows a bunch emails for others it only shows one or two.", it seems that this issue affect some users, not only one.
    If only one user is affected by this problem, you can follow the steps below to check result.
    1. Please check if it displays all mails in OWA.
    2. And please switch between Outlook cached mode and online mode to check result.
    If some users are affected, please check database index status.

  • Crystal Report not showing up during deployment for CRVS2010

    Hi,
    Have encountered problem when deploying Crystal Report using VB 2010. The report is able to show up during ASP.net development using VS 2010 but when i try to deploy on a IIS server, the report is just showing a blank page when trying to view using an Explorer on the client side. I'm using Window XP IIS 5.1 web server.
    Have tried doing VB setup and installing the merge module CRruntime_13_0_1 but still not working.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    While the supported platform text says that Microsoft  IIS5.1 is supported, I'm a bit dubious as CR 2008 (v. 12.x) did not support IIS5.1.   • Web part shows in different location for certain users

    I have a web part page that has three filter web parts (PerformancePoint) and a reportviewer web part.  When anyone not in a view only group views the page the filters appear at the top of the page as they should.  When anyone in a restricted
    rights group (view only) views the page, the filters show stacked at the bottom of the page.  The only thing I've allowed in the web part options is Connections.  Everything else is unchecked.  Additionally, there are no personal views. 
    I've tried re-creating the page and the behavior persists.  I also renamed the page and it made no difference.  If I take a user from the restricted group and put them in a regular group the page shows correctly.  The restricted group has View
    Items, Open Items, View Application Pages, View Pages and Open permissions.  I don't know what else to try at this point so I hope someone has some ideas on what's going on.  Thanks!

    It seems this restricted group users are lacking of some permissions on sytle file or resource file, please check if they have Style Resource Readers permission on Style Library.

    The Work phone number which I deleted is not reflected in Lync Client. It's been more than 48 hours since I deleted the work phone number in AD.  But still the same number listed in the lync contact card. Client policy has been set to 'File download
    only' and Lync client Galcontacts.db has the present date so no issues in downloading the address book file.
    I did the following but the issue is same. 
    >> Forced the address book by shell commands in Lync server to get the new full file generated but no luck after.
    >> Added 'GalDownloadInitialDelay' reg key but still issue persists. 
    >> Deleted all suggested contacts, frequent contacts from outlook contacts and also deleted the 'ContactStateCacheU' registry key but no luck.
    Please let me know if anyone has this issue fixed.

    So the user is EV enabled and has a LineURI.  Is that LineURI number the same number that you removed from AD? For example:
    1. I removed (555) 555-1212 from my Work Number AD field for John Doe
    2. John Doe has a LineURI of tel:+15555551212
    If so, that is expected.  LineURIs are also taken into consideration when building a user's contact card.   If you do not want this number to show up in the GAL, you will need to look at a
    private line for that user.

  • S_ALR_87013543 report not showing line item correctly

    Hi all,
    The S_ALR_87013543 report or any other cost plan report not showing the line item report correctly.
    eg When the S_ALR_87013543 report executed it showing 100 as a plan value against one of cost element when we double click and go to line item report it showing only one entry of 50 which is wrong.
    when i checked the COSP table for the wbse with that cost element it has two entries with value type 1 and 29. value type 29 says value from sales order and 1 as plan .
    My query is why S_ALR_87013543 report not showing the correct value or shall it not pick the value from value type 29.

    Thanks for the updates but one more issue. In one case COSP has a one entry for value type=1 with Busniess transaction SDOR but it was not shown in line item report. it says " no line item were selected". inspite of entry in COSP.

    when i checked the drill down report for line item it says no line item found.
    Any idea what went wrong

  • Vendor Ref No. does not show in Journal Entry for AP Credit

    AP Invoice journals show the vendor reference number in field Ref 2.  However, when creating an AP Credit memo, the vendor reference number does not show in the journal for the credit memo, instead the field Ref 2 is used for the base document number. 
    I have two clients who have pointed out that they would expect to see the vendor ref number in the Ref 2 field in the journal when an AP Credit is created, as this is the functionality for Goods Receipts and AP Invoices.   
    Both clients are currently manually updating the Ref 2 field in the journal for AP Credit, so that in the BP account transactions view they can sort field Ref2 by vendor reference number.
    Does anyone have any suggestions on a work around for this?

  • Voice mails aren't showing in Lync client

    We have Lync 2010 server in Exchange 2007 environment.
    I have the voice message in outlook but it doesn't shows it in Lync client.
    Changes made...
    We powered off old two Exchange CAS servers and brought up two new CAS servers.
    EWS is deployed and in Lync configuration, it shows the same "EWS deployed"
    Conversation history folder, messages are getting saved.
    free/busy info working as expected.
    Voice messages aren't showing in Lync client and Lync status isn't getting changed, when outlook scheduled meeting. But Lync gets changing the status to In call, Conference Call, In Meeting when there is a Lync scheduled meeting.
    lync srv record are there in DNS
    any other record needs to be created for this issue? I mean to pull the EWS info from exchange?

    Lync requires Exchange EWS for this functionality. As mentioned above check if EWS has a status of "OK", if it doesnt check that Exchange autodiscover is correctly configured for the new CAS servers. This is a useful tool - https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/.
    Additionally is is always worth deleting Lync sign-in info to remove the cache and force Lync to detect servers again.

    We are having Reports developed in 6i which needs to be migrated to Reports 9i/10G and we want to deploy these reports in web using Websphere Application Server 5.x /6.x without Oracle iAS.

    No there is not. I don't think you can use reports services with Websphere - besides as far as I know it is not supported by Oracle (not anywhere in their support matrix).

  • Report not showing terminated empoyees payroll results

    Hi there,
    I have coded a report that shows customized payroll data for a group of employees, delimited by two dates. The user found a problem when an employee is terminated on a given month but his termination is processed the next month (vacations, etc). Say the employee quits October 27, the payroll is run on November 10 and the report is run for November 1 - November 30: I wont see his payroll results because the employee does not belong to a particular organizational unit in november.
    This is my main code:

    Basically, the GET PERNR (get personnel record) is never executed because the employee does not belong to the org unit. Is there any way to gather employee records in one interval and payroll results in another? I assume they both use PNBEGDA and PNENDDA at this point.
    What I want is to retrieve payroll information based on the screen dates (BEGDA and ENDDA) and the employee data based on the payroll periods that were run during those dates.

    Instead of using the standard selection screen field for choosing org units, you could create a custom selection screen field for the org unit.  So the org unit would not affect the initial GET PERNR selection.  Then in your code (after the GET PERNR) you could check for the org unit, with an additional condition to check the employee's previous org unit if he is terminated.  There is also more than one way to get payroll results.  We often use this in our reports:

    This allows you to specify by date, wagetype, pay period, etc. which payroll results you wnat to include.  I hope this helps.

    To help you see what is happening, temporarily add DESNAME to your parameter screen. Make sure that DESNAME on the parameter screen has a value before you click the Submit Query button.
    If you are running the report with a local report service (running on your workstation), the value of desname should be the name of your default printer.
    If you are running the report on a network application server based report service you need to specify the name of a printer that is accessible to the server on which the report service is running. Make sure that it is specified in a way that the server can recognize it, e.g. \\printserver_01\HPLaserJ4210.
