Disable LOV once the button is pressed and submitted

Question

Hi Friends
I have an LOV which lists Gold, Silver and Bronze and a button Trigger.
For each row in the report i can select one value for the LOV and press the Trigger button.
Once I press the trigger button the LOV filed for that particular row shoyld be freezed or disabled.
Any way to do this?
