How to display the content once the button is clicked

Hello! Just joined today, and my apologize for my huge noobness.
I'm still learning how to use Flash... and am still struggling on one thing. It may seem simple to the most of you -- how exactly do you have the content displayed once you click the button? I'm attempting to have the content for each navigation link button to show up each time it's clicked. Still a failure.

The four frames of a button are related to the button's interactivity and have nothing to do with using the button to display anything beyond itself. The first three frames ((Up, Over, Down) are used to depict how the button appears for the three possible states of interaction (None, Hover, Press). The "Hit" frame of a button is used to define the interactive area of a button but does nothig as far as contributing to the visual elements of the button.
As far as getting step-by-step instruction goes, you should try visiting a site like Lynda.com to get some training in using Flash. You can also try searching Google to find tutorials that others have already written.

Set that page as portlet, include it in a region in another page and in the edit defaults decide which regions you want to display.

Brute force - - I have written the number of the Desktop directly onto the wallpaper picture I am using for each Desktop (easy to do with Preview).
All Desktops are using different wallpaper photos, so they are easily recognized by the color scheme, and in the upper left corner is the number.

if you load it all into the buffer that is going to be very difficult. I would suggest loading it into some sort of collection. I like using an ArrayList.
Then pass the arraylist.
you will then on the jsp iterate through the arrayList using what every you want.. el, logic tags, scriplets.
so something like
ArrayList arrayList = new ArrayList();
while(rs.next()){
arrayList.append(rs.getString(1));
//or possibly an arrayList of String arrays
//maybe using nested for loops. Inner for loop adds result to string[] then //outer adds string[] to arrayList.

I was able to display the signature on XMLP AP Check Print Report by went through the follwoing Tim's blog http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2006/04/13#a12
But in Purchase Order report requirement is different. We need to display the Buyer's signature on XMLP PO Report. So, where is the best place to store the buyers signatures.(For example if we have 10 buyers with 10 signatures respectively then after approving the PO, we should display that particular buyer's signature in PO XML Publisher report).We observed that in byuers & User's form there is no attachment feature enabled.
This is an urgent requiremnt. Please help/guide/suggest to resolve this issue.

How to display the text as a Bold in the Text Element of a Smart Form

I created one Smart Form.
In that i created the Text element.
I provide some data also in that.
It is coming as a MS WORD.
I executed my smart form.
Customer Number: &WA_KNA1-KUNNR&
it display the data of the particular customer.
But i need to display the Customer Number as BOLD or else Increase the Size.
For this also I created one SMARTSTYLE.
In that I created the Paragraph and Character Formats also.
Now i assignee that SMARTSTYLE in the Output Option Tab of the Text Element also.
But i unable to get the CUSTOMER NUMBER in Bold.
In MS WORD we have BOLD button.
I selected the Text and Press the BOLD button. At that time it is Highlighted.
Whenever i press the SAVE Button.
Then it is not saved with BOLD.
It is coming in Normal Format.
In the ECC 6.0. I am unable to get the Text as a BOLD.
This text Element is like a MS WORD.
Can you please tell me how to display the Data with BOLD. please tell me. I am unable to get that one.

Check where u have given BOLD. In character Format or in Paragraph format.
In SMART FORM,
1. Change to OLD EDITOR if u are confused with the new one.
        (This can be done by clicking the button left to new editor ).
2. If it is PARAGRAPH FORMAT,
           Give the name of paragraph format in the editor.
            P1         &WA_KNA1-KUNNR&
    If it is CHARACTER FORMAT,
                         <C1> &WA_KNA1-KUNNR&

How to display the context of a Jbutton to a JTextField

Hi,
There is a key pad (1-9) on a GUI where each key is represented by a JButton. There is also a data entry filed, implemented using JTextField.
However, when the user enters the ID using the key pad buttons each number should be displayed in the data entry field correspondingly (similar to calculator). I have already written the handlers for each button just don't know how to display the contexts in the text field, e.g. if the button 1 is pressed the 1 should be appeared in the text filed immediately. Anyone can help me to get this done?

I think the easiest way to achive this, is to design your RenderListItem form like your ShowForm and restrict the number of items in your collection renderer to "1".
So a list is rendererd with exactly one item.
